We weren’t shocked that the finale was 7 minutes of Dean dying and saying how much he loves Sam and that no one else counts. Fan Expo Cleveland 2025 was definitely one for the books, finally meeting Jared was the highlight guys, he loves our videos and being able to express that without Supernatural we wouldn’t even be able to make these videos for you guys (even Sam Smith (Mary Winchester) came over to say hello to us) like I really can’t even put into words how crazy it was to see how much he appreciated us, it’s honestly one of the best feelings ever and everyone who came up to say hello and your kind words and conversations warmed my damn heart and made this an unforgettable experience 🥹 love everyone of you guys and thank you for the support and being on this journey with me.. can’t wait to see where more adventures will lead us and we will see you soon

Imagine being proud of abusing an actor for years in order to get him to *checks notes “ not publicly hate your ship as much because he doesn’t want to be accused of being homophobic again.” Like do you even hear yourselves. I’ve said the same, I will not under any circumstances support that company or the person running it - the pads direct merch at non creation cons is run by the same a/h, even though it doesn’t have stands label. The expensive things Jared tends to buy either are cost neutral or appreciate in value - things like his Rolex watch collection. Jared is a very good and switched on investor with a diverse portfolio that includes rental properties. My boy is not stupid when it comes to either making money, spending or investing it. He’s also very generous with his money, making sure his friends and family are taken care of.

Add on to that, pooling their wealth, Gen is a trust fund bby.

Lmao Dmitri did lie about how he grew up. He WAS privileged, he just had a hippie mother who liked to play at being poor.

Jared's normal middle class background is what makes him so much better at managing his wealth than someone who had rich family (see Dmitri and, to a degree, Jensen) to bail them out when things go wrong financially.

The fact that Dmitri is also lazy is just the cherry on top of why he is where he is, and why Jared is where he is.

Hate is a strong word, I’d go with despise personally. Most of us despise the ship and shippers because (in no particular order)

- you didn’t keep your fanon ship within fandom. You didn’t follow the basic principles that shipping is fanon, it’s supposed to be fun, not activism. You are fantasising about a M/m relationship and that is ok, only if it’s kept within fandom and not harassing every man and his dog to try to force your non existent ship to become canon as if it’s a pick your own porn adventure

- you send posts like this pretty much demanding to know why we don’t like it, which is completely bizarre, enjoy your ship but stop acting like a Jehovah’s Witness cult that’s trying to meet recruitment targets

- you sexually harassed Jensen for years, forcing non con art in front of him to sign, asking for weird destiel poses in ops. - your ship is boring af compared with the actual story being told. I have read a couple of the top rated fics and all of them, as far as I can see, require all characters to be entirely different unrecognisable versions of themselves. The holy bible of fics is an AU set in Vietnam war that was literally a find and paste over the names from another fandom (can’t remember exactly which fandom it was). In theory an Angel and a human would be right up my street but it pales into insignificance vs the actual story being told about two platonic soulmate brothers that love each other to the exclusion of all else.

- you have waged a hate campaign against Jared for years in the name of your ship, it’s been disgusting to be in the same fandom as people that put a ridiculous ship above that of a human being. Your hate campaigns have included lying about him, creating long lists of things you’ve made up or exaggerated things that happened to put a nasty twist on them. With that caveat in place…

Easy. It’s not canon. All the supposed subtle messages, “lingering” looks, and other nonsense do not excuse nor detract from the fact that Castiel really fucked up a lot! Bringing Sam back soulless? Breaking his wall? The mess with the angel tablet? On and on… Castiel—had Misha not been “protected” by Bobby Singer, among other bullshit behind the scenes—would have been written out of any other story! No way Dean would have ever forgiven him for all the stuff that had been done to Sam!

How on earth could have Dean loved Castiel with all that?! Especially given how rabid and fanatical Dean is about Sam! It took jumping the shark to even make Castiel make sense and stay when the story would’ve demanded he be removed.

But here’s the thing—when I first watched Supernatural, it was without any knowledge of J2 and Misha. None. I only remembered Jensen from his time on Days of Our Lives. Nothing more. (And Jared from Gilmore Girls.)

I never saw Destiel. Zilch. Zip. Nada.

Maybe you did! Cool. Don’t care. It’s not canon. Jensen, the other half of the Destiel ship, has demanded more than once “Where is Destiel real?”

I’ve seen some seriously toxic and disturbing posts and comments by Hellers about how they don’t care what Jensen says. They want him forced if need be to make Destiel real.

That soured me immensely.

But! Only to those who insist it’s canon (it’s not), to those who ignore Jensen, to those who chase down and send death threats to those who are anti Destiel and/or anti Misha.

The general, quiet Destiel fans? Fine with me.

Those who behave badly? Nope. I’ve seen enough to believe the history of death threats that were sent to Jensen, the inappropriate Destiel stuff he’s had to sign in autos and pose in photo ops. He’s been accused of being homophobic, biphobic….

Such behavior has made it hard to even remotely tolerate Destiel as a whole.

Jared did say once that someone involved in the show was out to get him, Bill Shatner also commented on that. I have no idea who that person was and why they were never held to account or why they were targeting Jared in the first place. I’m glad he’s in the position to make sure everyone around him are good people and he’s able to protect his own cast and crew, unlike SPN that seemed to be teaming with hellers in the later years and writers/producers with a distinct lack of respect for J2. If SPN does ever reboot, I don’t see Jared on board unless he’s EP.

Spn sucked the life out of Jared in the last seasons.

it's true and kinda sad to be honest. Sam is one of Jared's best roles but the show drained a lot out of him towards the end. and he wanted to quit it at least twice if not more but the network held the contract onto his head.

Kinda sad because i am sure it must be emotionally, mentally and physically taxing to work on the same project for 15 years. It also goes to show by the sheer effort that Jared put into Walker's environment. he ensured his cast and crew didn't feel the way he did on SPN and that's why Lindsey Morgan got an out when she asked for it.
