hey quick question what part of the botanical garden do you like the most :3

That is a very good question my friend bestie beloved mutual Leon Ward-Leon, and you have activated my yap card.

You see the garden changes with the seasons, it‘s a living place after all, and while there are a few evergreen places their position still changes based on if some of the other spots are blooming or not and such. For example!

The cherry tree is absolutely gorgeous in spring (regrettably I got no images of it this year. Waugh. Fake fan. I will atone with my life. Dishonor.) during the like. Singular week that it blooms, but is nothing spectacular the other times of year.

The Flower beds are also amazing and less seasonal, but still restricted to Spring/Summer/Early Fall

Amazing. Breathtaking. Show stopping. But it’s not all the flowerbeds have to give.

They switch it up to a summer configuration. Which is also amazingshowstoppinggongeous.

There’s also the food garden which is real nice in summer when they’re mature. Goidneff gravious there’s canbage. And Bean. And poompakin. Fbasinating.

Anyways the version of Tumblr I have on phone won’t let me attach more images so intermission time. There will be more. (Threat)

It’s raining 😺and🐶’s and it’s seems like a perfect day for stuffed cabbage soup. I was going to make stuffed cabbage, but I decided to be lazy and let my Instapot do the work. Cabbage, onions, grass fed beef, carrots, canned diced tomatoes, lots of garlic, cumin and rosemary, rice, butter and organic beef broth..cooked on high pressure for 30 minutes. We’ll eat it topped with sour cream and dill. Garden update~

Pulled the squash and are working on getting rows raked of kitty poo, as cats have now decided parts of my rows are okay to use :( working on a way to deter them without harming if i can.

One of the broccoli finally have a head! Its the smallest freaking broc plant but the only one with a head now 😂

The michihilli canbage has gone and is going to seed, think this bear i might get lucky before the birds get em all i just have to figure out a good way to collect them that won't disturb the bees doing their thing. I love seeing the happy pollinators bumbling round n round makes me incredibly happy!

Some more pics of that flowered/seed michihillis. The one is mixed with broccoli plant and rainbow chard.

The beans are just bout done too. I didn't really get to eat much off em, so I'll let these ones go to seed. Gonna leave this up here I think and use as a pea trellis again.

The sugar snap daddy peas got flicking tall! I couldn't get it all in the pic! Just as a heads up this trellis is probably about 7 feet tall if not a bit taller!

I think I'm gonna leave this one here too and plant some more tall beans here, mayby some kabocha squash and a louffa to rotate
