I’ve started elden ring a while ago and I’m not sure how I feel about it so far

Maybe I haven’t got to the good part? Or maybe this type of open-world just isn’t for me?

I just finished the second (probably) big area & boss but I’m already sick of dungeons and 80% of the boss fights are boring man. Very little well-designed ones and so many reuses…

The weapons are awesome and I also love a lot of character/game play mechanisms it really is just the huge world that everywhere looks similar and continuously fighting mid-bosses really bothers me. It’s kinda feeling like the more I explore the world the more frustrated I get with very little to no cathartic feel in return

Maybe the last game I played being sekiro doesn’t help lol. I’m hoping it’ll become better later on

In 70 chapters, Prowl frowns rougly 104 times. And the intensity of this gesture is very clearly correlated with the development of his relationship with Jazz, as you can see ahahahahah It might be wrong tho don’t take me seriously I’m not good with graphs

First two doodles are inspired by other posts- the sunflower image is from this post by leeyzart - though they did a more wholesome comic with it 💀 and the Umbrella Academy car meme was inspired by this post by saprozoicworm - the doodle on the bottom left reminded me of it, though idk if that was an intentional reference

The Creek comic is inspired by my head canon that Tweek wears, like, combat or just heavy duty snow boots and Craig wears Converse. Probably a widespread fan canon, but as a girlie who has always worn converse, even to her restaurant job which I don’t recommend, I have almost slip or actually slipped so many times, and I wanted to draw Craig going through that lmao

Second comic is a thought I had when playing TFBW cause there’s this one cutscene, after you defeat Professor Chaos on the roof of the U-Store-It, where Stan does his thing where he flies up using his tape measure or whatever, but WE’RE ON THE ROOF??? WHAT ARE YOU HOOKING ONTO?????? And I thought it was a funny visual if Jesus just was picking his up, cause how else would you explain that (I guess it could be like ~imagination~ but that’s not as funny

One thing that never fails to shock me is how many Marauder stans I’ve seen hating on Draco for saying this line to Hermione in GoF:

“Granger, they’re after Muggles,” said Malfoy. “D’you want to be showing off your knickers in midair? Because if you do, hang around . . . they’re moving this way, and it would give us all a laugh.”

Yet somehow they can’t apply that same logic to what happened in SWM:

I’ve seen Marauder stans who bash Draco and call him horrible for “making a SA joke,” but then go ahead and defend what the Marauders did (which was ACTUAL SA, not just a gross joke) in SWM as if that’s not much worse. The irony is ridiculous.

That’s always confused me because… they can clearly see the harm in a character making a SA joke, but they gloss over or even justify their favourites characters actually doing what said character joked about??? Make it make sense.
