I Worship You
summary : they fell in love with a Greek deity.
word count : 0.8k
type : headcanons
pairing/s : Jason Grace / Percy Jackson x Goddess! Reader.
warning/s : none.
here's my masterlist!

Note : I will also be posting the same idea with Nico, Leo, Frank, and Will.
Jason Grace
You were a Camp Jupiter regular. VIP access. Eternal backstage pass.
Unlike the other gods who ghosted their kids harder than a bad Tinder date, you actually cared about demigods.
Probably because you were one, back in your 'mortal coil' phase.
You knew the struggle. The whole, 'my divine parent left me a prophecy and trauma' starter pack.
The joy of being chased around by monsters while trying to survive longer than Zeus' affairs with women.
Jason first saw you and thought, "Wow, that’s the prettiest counselor I’ve ever seen."
He was just a kid. You were immortal. It was awkward.
The camp had to break the news that you were a literal deity because of Jason’s intense puppy dog crush, and the poor guy almost got zapped into the next reincarnation.
Reyna never lets him live it down. She brings it up during arguments to win.
"You know I’m right, Reyna."
"Fine, but remember when you almost got yeeted with your own lightning because you’re a simp?"
"I was ten!"
It works every time.
As he aged like fine wine (or a stressed Roman soldier), his teen crush evolved.
Your acceptance made him feel seen and understood. It's all he ever wanted.
Jason doesn’t just want your guidance anymore; he wants your love.
He is reminded everyday that supposed to be the perfect Roman, the champion of the gods, a celestial poster child.
But secretly? He prays to you more than any of them.
Not in the "Hey, can you back me up so I don't die?" kind of way. More like "ANYTHING FOR YOU, BEYONCE!" kind of devotion.
You’re having an existential crisis because you practically watched him grow up.
It felt questionable.
"I’ve been around before your puberty."
"Now, I’m emotionally and physically available. Growth."
"I raised you!"
"And I’m trying to wife you up. Can we please just move on?"
You were ancient. Like 'I knew Kronos when he had abs' ancient.
Jason didn’t care.
His whole life was a checklist of what others expected from him.
He had been a puppet his whole life.
Choosing you was finally something he wanted for himself.
It felt like rebellion and therapy.
And once you gave in? Oh, boy.
The golden retriever in Roman armor became yours. Completely, irrevocably, gloriously yours.
Sure, he still does heroic stuff, but you’re his top priority.
Zeus and Hera were livid.
You 'stole their chosen one', or as Hera puts it, "MY PRECIOUS BLOND TROPHY!"
They called you a temptress, a manipulator, basically what they are.
You called them irrelevant.
Because what could they do? Smite you? You've survived worse.
Percy Jackson
You've been his spiritual stalker since Quest #1.
Not in a creepy way, more like a magical support staff that whispers, "You got this!" before he punches a hydra in the face.
Unlike other gods who appear just to flex and disappear like flaky Instagram influencers, you helped from the shadows.
No appearances. No booming voices from the sky. Just vibes.
Whenever he was scared, you sent him courage.
When he was hopeless, you slipped in a little optimism.
When he was depressed, you were the cosmic version of a comfort blanket.
Percy didn’t trust it.
The gods never do nice things without expecting a thank-you fruit basket, or a blood sacrifice.
Yet you did.
So naturally, he did what any traumatized teenager would do: scream "SUS! THIS IS SUS!" in his cabin like he’s playing Among Us at 3AM.
Curiosity got the best of him, so he tried the classic 'summon the mysterious deity' trick. "Hey, mystery spirit! Can you show up before I call customer service?"
Motherfucker even used an Ouija board.
You didn’t show up.
Then he realized you only appear when he’s in real danger.
He decided right then and there that the best way to summon you like some divine Pokemon was to almost die.
Multiple times.
"Hey, Percy, maybe try not to die just to talk to your celestial crush?"
"Grover, let me have this."
When you finally appeared before him, furious and radiating 'I could kill you myself' look, he was dumbfounded.
Not by your glare, but by your beauty. You were beyond words. Probably a good thing, because his brain was busy rebooting.
Hearing his full name made him fall harder, honestly.
"WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, PERSEUS JACKSON?!"
"That I missed you?"
From that point on, he kept 'accidentally' stumbling into peril just to get your attention.
You two became… familiar.
Extremely so.
The more you appeared, the deeper he fell.
When Percy realized he was in love, it wasn’t fireworks or cheesy Disney dance numbers, just serenity.
Just a calm, warm feeling in his chest that said, 'This is home.'
"Are you glowing or did I just eat too many pizzas?"
"That’s eight boxes."
"Shhh. I was trying to flirt."
For the first time, he didn’t feel like he had to fight, to prove, to perform.
You were the calm in his chaotic life.
The eye of the storm.
His little slice of paradise in a life full of monsters, trauma, and water-based destruction. His divine chill pill.
And if anyone tries to mess with that?
Let’s just say he didn’t inherit all of Poseidon’s chaos juice for nothing (Alexa, play Ruthlessness from EPIC: The Musical).
Because Percy’s got two moods: goofy, surfer dude from Manhattan and eldritch hurricane who tortured Akhlys in Tartarus.
Choose wisely.

toapril7 - home, hearth, and grief
@toapril-official
okay so let me vulnerable, i've never publicly shared writing and i am terrified. u know what, though? it's cabin 7 and i love those guys. here it is. it doesn't really have "hearth" but whatever.
The Wall had been there since well before Will’s time. As far as he knew it had existed for as long as cabin 7 had. On the back wall of the cabin, behind the rows of bunk beds, was a sort of collage of hundreds of names, scrawled over every inch of free space and often overlapping. The oldest were carved at eye level into the wood panelling, then the mural grew outward, the names getting smaller toward the edges, then more squeezed between the older ones. Some were in Greek and Latin letters, which Will could read, some in other alphabets and logograms he couldn’t. There were names painted and scratched and scribbled on in Sharpie. He hadn’t paid attention to it in a long time, The Wall had become just a wall in the background while he filled out cabin inspection checklists, planned activities, and continued the Sisyphean task of dragging Austin (ever the artistic soul) out of bed before noon. He had only been put in mind of it when Yan, one of the new campers, had stopped him on his way back from the showers.
“Hey Will,” they looked up from a game of Uno they were playing with Gracie and Jerry, the other new campers.
“What’s that?” They asked, pointing to The Wall. The other kids agreed that they were wondering, too.
Will looked at The Wall for the first time in a long time. There was a tightness in his chest. He wished his other siblings, Austin and Kayla were there, but they had been given leave to head into town for “personal errands,” whatever those were. They were closer in age to each other than to Will, and he didn’t like to be a bother, so he left them alone most of the time. He drew a breath, then began,
“Well, ah-”
Will explained that the tradition went back longer than anyone could remember. Not long after a new Apollo kid was claimed they would add their name to The Wall, a sort of unofficial record of the campers who had passed through for at least several hundred years, though it was difficult to tell based on numbers. Theirs had tended to be a more populous cabin in peacetimes, their dad being rather… free spirited to put it politely. Or to put it the way his older brother, Michael, had put it “incapable of keeping it in his pants.” He meant it with love. Will knew exactly where his name had been written, an inconspicuous spot in the corner, somewhere no one would find it unless they tried, in plain black ink. At the time he'd made his mark he'd only had to bend at the waist, now he was sure that if he went over to find it he'd have to squat.
He finished explaining The Wall,
“So.. yeah,” For a child of the god of poetry, he wasn't the most eloquent.
“Do you guys want to put your names on?”
The kids’ faces lit up, so he took them over and fished through his pockets. Gum wrappers, receipts, a multi-tool, a miniature sewing kit, packs of tissues, his harmonica, chapstick, tylenol, batteries, dog treats, the Field Guide to Medicinal Wild Plants of North America, a set of Allen keys, smelling salts (they come in handy more often than you'd think), a protein bar, and… there! A marker. God bless whoever invented cargo shorts. He handed it to the kids, who immediately began to tussle over who got to go first, then leant back against The Wall and watched them. He didn't stop them. It was something of an unspoken rule at camp to let the younger demigods fight it out.
As he watched Gracie, Jerry, and Yan scrambling to find empty spaces to write their names, something caught Will's eye. Zeus-a-mercy, the Fates must have been sitting wherever they did while they spun their string, laughing at him. He brushed the back of his hand lightly over two names that were just near where he had chosen, or thought he had chosen to lean. They were two familiar names, carved close together with a pocket knife that now lay untouched on the bunk above Will's, “Lee” and “Michael”. From what Will had heard, they had arrived at camp together, though Lee was a few years older, been claimed at roughly the same time, and became best friends. They were inseparable. Lee had been their cabin's head counselor when Will had first come to Camp Half Blood. He was a born leader, gentle but firm about enforcing the rules, elegant in his manner, kind, and athletic. He treated everyone fairly, and was always the first to volunteer his help. He was the kind of guy you couldn’t help but to look up to. Michael had been brash and intimidating at first, despite his compact frame, but it didn’t take Will long to realise he was kind too, in his way. He had his siblings’ backs no matter what, and he always stuck up for Cabin 7, although that sometimes landed them in more trouble than they had started in. The guy was a damn good medic, he used to talk about being an EMT one day, and when Will had discovered that he was… not inept.. unskilled at most of the things Apollo kids were meant to be skilled in, Michael had taken him under his wing, let him hang out in the infirmary, grindin medicinal herbs and picking out records from his own collection. Michael had explained to Will how music and healing weren’t so different, that it was the nature of living things, birds and bugs and whales and humans, to sing and even if you weren’t “good” you had to do it because it healed your soul. With a little magical help it could heal the physical body too. Michael had even allowed Will, against almost everyone's advice, to work on the really gory injuries, the kind that thrilled him, filled him with the delightful terror of flesh that made his stomach turn with excitement. They weren't just guys from camp, they were real older brothers.
Then Lee died. Everything should have changed, but it didn’t. That was the worst part. They ate dinner that night, then led the campfire sing-a-long. They celebrated like it had been a good day. Across the ocean parents were seeing off their kids at the school gates, and a couple miles down the road parents were sending their kids to bed. The moon rose in the sky. The waves crashed on the shore. The world carried on relentlessly, as if Lee hadn’t been special. It should have come to a standstill. But it didn’t. Outside the cabin things went on as normal, they went to archery practice, played basketball and capture the flag, ran first aid classes. They were bright and genial with the other campers, although they knew that they were hurting, and they knew the other kids were hurting, and no one said anything. Mourning was private at camp. Inside the cabin was quiet and disorganised. No one played their instruments inside anymore. They broke out in scraps among themselves more than they had before. Michael was the worst off. He spent his time smoking behind the Big House, staring off into space, or else getting into screaming matches with Clarrise from Cabin 6. He hoarded supplies, weapons, even food, better stuff than the other cabins, he said. One time, Will caught him crying. He never mentioned it.
About a year later Michael took an impromptu dive into the East River. In the span of a few hours Will went from being one of the younger kids in a cabin of twenty or so, to the counselor for only three kids including himself. And he wondered if Lee had really been as put together as he had seemed. And he understood why Michael was angry. Will was angry. And life carried on regardless. What he hadn’t, wouldn’t, tell the kids was that when he had written his name on The Wall it had felt like an honour, like he was part of Something. Now when he looked at it he saw a Menin Gate decorated in an orange shirt and friendship bracelets. The tightness in his chest squeezed harder. Breathing became difficult. He looked away from the carving on The Wall. these feelings aren’t helpful, he thought, nothing gets done when you stand around moping. He focused again on the kids. Gracie was tracing out her signature in the air, practicing to get it just right before it was immortalised on The Wall, while Jerry scowled impatiently behind her, his expression making Will chuckle to himself. As he did so, he realised that these three weren’t the only ones whose names had been missing from The Wall. He swallowed his grief and took the marker from Gracie as she finished writing her name with a flourish, pretending Jerry’s face, eyes now bulging, was not amusing. He found an empty space and squeezed it in, “Λεστερ”.

A New Life
Iiiii have been obsessed with watching @grind-pantera and @reddesires write about Planet of the Apes. Like, heavily inspired and biting at the bars of my enclosure to read or write or both. Apologies for the tags, I wanted to give proper credit for my rediscovered obsession. Thank you both! *runs off like a feral gremlin*
Anywho, I had this in my head and wanted to get it out. Don't know if I'll continue it, let me know if y'all want me to expand on this or...well. Maybe I will regardless. WE'LL SEE. *dives*
Rating: E (for Everyone!!)
Plot: You're newly taken in to the colony, a human with no idea how it works. Because of this, you're trying to navigate your new life.
A/N: Could evolve into (Character) x Reader, but...well. That depends on if I continue. Have this!
You weren’t used to this.
This referring to living among the apes of the woods. The ones who could talk—well, talk in rough, choppy sentences or sign language passed down by the older orangutan Maurice. It hadn’t been long since you had been brought there among the whooping hollering of one of their patrols, shepherding you to their leader…king? You weren’t entirely sure what they referred to him as, but you know they respected him greatly and looked to him to decide all things regarding their colony.
Him, of course, being Caesar. The first ape to speak.
You had heard the rumor, now passed around human campfires like folklore, of Caesar’s first utterances from years ago. It hadn’t been a big deal then, but when you had first heard him speak in that low, rumbling voice like he still wasn’t sure where exactly the sound sat in his throat, it had rocked you to your very core.
Scared you, even.
During the first week in the colony, you treated them like wild animals. Of course, you had known about the intelligent apes living in the forest, but you had never thought you’d be living among them. Now, so far away from home, not even knowing how to return, you wished you had learned more. A checklist formed in your mind. A sort of “How To” in order for your own survival.
One: Don’t look them in the eyes.
That was something you had learned as a child when your father was teaching you how to interact with strange dogs. Animals often took eye contact to mean a threat, that you were challenging them. Well, shit. You didn’t want any of these apes to consider you a threat. God, the gorillas were huge. They could rip you apart limb from limb. How many news stories had there been in your lifetime about pet chimps eating their owner’s faces off? So you didn’t look anyone in the eye.
By careful observance, you had learned how to properly greet those around you. Body low to the ground, head down, fleeting eye contact, hand above your head. If you were lucky, you’d get a simple touch to let you know it was okay.
Two: Avoid Koba by any means necessary.
The scarred ape, a Bonobo you believed, scared you more than anyone else in the camp. His glazed-over, milky white eye seemed to follow you everywhere you went. He didn’t you, and you didn’t trust him. How could you when he only ever glared at you and sometimes even growled? There wasn’t a single doubt in your mind that he’d be the one to kill you if he was ever given the chance to.
Three: Stay as close to Caesar and his closest companions as was allowed and considered acceptable.
Caesar had a fondness for your kind, you learned. His closest companions and family, though you got the feeling didn’t share his sentiment, at least showed you kindness in their own way. Rocket, Luka, Blue Eyes, and especially Maurice. They were your key to survival.
There was one thing you were completely certain of: They were never going to let you leave.
You had seen too much. You knew too much.
Your knowledge was valuable to any humans seeking to destroy them.
The longer you stayed in the camp, the more you came to recognize your new reality. At times, late at night, when the camp was quiet, you would sit out underneath the canopy and stare at the stars peeking through. There were certain things you missed about other humans. The laughter. Full conversations. The community.
Here among the colony, the impending end of the human reign pressed and tickled along the back of your mind like an ever-present itch.
Your eyes slid up and up, following the path that led to Caesar’s abode in the cave.
Shadows danced from the large fire above, and a silhouette stood on the edge.
He was watching.
And you knew, deep down, he always would be.

Another fic I wrote, it was inspired by Three Days by pleasuretoburn on AO3, so kinda credits to them
My apologies for any mistakes, it hasn't been beta'd as I don't have a beta-
Summery- House and Wilsons experience with Oreos, all the way from when they met, to when one left.
Tw- Swearing, character death
You're the cookie, and I'm the cream.
1. september 14th, 1992.
"Are you 100% sure you hung the bear bag high enough? " Wilson asked, opening the pen lid with his mouth and checking stuff off of his checklist.
"My god, you are the most paranoid person I know, yes! I have hung it high enough, " House scoffed, tieing the knot and slapping it for good measure.
"Good! Or I might have to feed you to the bears, " Wilson muttered through the pen lid in his mouth.
House rolled his eyes and snatched Wilsons clipboard, pen and the pen lid from his mouth.
"Hey! We need that! " Wilson argued.
"Stop being a perfectionist and let's actually make it up the mountain, or we'll stay here for the rest of eternity with the bears, " House retorted, chucking the supplies into the tent and grasping Wilsons hand.
House dragged Wilson up the mountain, the latter kicking and desperately trying to get back to camp. House scolded, just grasping harder and walking faster. Then, Wilson finally submitted, trailing behind House, huffing and puffing.
"Don't sulk, come on, have some light in you! " House exclaimed, letting go of Wilsons hand, walking behind his friend and pushing his back up the hill.
Wilson chuckled, walking faster as House pushed him. House smiled genuinely, giving Wilson a last push. Wilson staggered for a moment, quickly regaining his pace and laughing wholeheartedly next to House - who smirked. They both trudged up the mountain, smiling and giggling at each other's silly remarks.
"Look at this! " Wilson called, crouching next a tree and staring in awe.
House sighed and walked over, "can you stop being a horny dog with pheromones for one minute? "
"No it's a beetle! "
House crouched next to Wilson, looking exactly where he was looking.
"All I see is dirt. "
"No, there! See it just moved, " Wilson claimed giddily.
"Oh that tiny thing? It's as small as the guy I bailed out of jail in 1991's dick, " House muttered.
"That guy was me. "
"I'm aware. "
Wilson rolled his eyes and continued hiking, now dragging House.
They made it to the top, thank Lord. It was beautiful. Wilson stared in awe, looking at the colours of the sky blending seamlessly. Oranges, reds and yellows roamed, clouds sprinkled here and there. The sun still blazed, though slowly moving towards the horizon. House and Wilson took a seat on the bench, taking in the immaculate view. Even House was silent, it was truly breathtaking.
Unfortunately for them, they didn't stay long as the sun had almost set. So, they started their journey 2 miles back down the mountain. They laughed and giggled, hands brushing aimlessly and subconsciously. It was like heaven.
"We should do this more often, " Wilson blurted out, smiling.
"How long do you think it would take for us to fuck if we got stranded? " House questioned genuinely.
"2 weeks. "
"Weeks?! "
"Yeah."
"Your horniness is about the same as a teenage boy! "
"Yours is worse! "
"I give it about 2 days. "
"Okay, fine. Deal. "
They continued to walk, casually shoving each other in the process like little kids who just broke up. Until, House got a little carried away.
House stopped. He put his two hands out and completely chucked Wilson into a bush.
A Holly bush.
House covered his mouth quickly. Wilson toppled over the side and into the bush, wincing.
"Jesus House! " Wilson yelled, trying to get up as quickly as possible.
House chuckled, looking at Wilson.
"You're such an- WOAH! " House called out, tripping on a stick and falling straight into the other Holly bush.
Wilson got up and started giggling at House, holding out a hand for the fallen woe. House took it with a grunt and got up.
"You're such an idiot, " Wilson laughed, picking a few bits of Holly off House.
"Thanks, " House grumbled, plucking some off of Wilson.
Soon they made it back to camp without any casualties. Other than their food.
"I literally told you that you didn't hang it high enough! " Wilson shouted, falling to his knees in front of the mess and looking through it.
"My bad, my bad. "
House crouched beside Wilson, "hey look! The grizzly left the Oreos! "
2. september 15th, 1992.
"I can't believe we have to survive off of Oreos for our 30 mile hike, " Wilson grunted, opening the box and taking out a packet. "I don't even like the cookie! "
House chuckled, "I don't like the cream. "
They both trudged until Wilson took an Oreo, twisted it open and handed House the spare cookie. Wilson scrapped off the cream with his teeth, ate it and handed House the other cookie.
"This is how we're gonna survive, " Wilson declared, doing the same with another cookie.
"Fine by me, " House replied through a mouthful of cookie.
And somehow, they did survive, barely, but survived.
3. june 3rd, 1997.
"How do you manage stuff like this? " Wilson groaned, getting out of bed and trudging to the bathroom with the phone held up by his shoulder.
"Can you just come get me, and bring me something, I'm starving. Okay, thanks, bye Wilson! "
And with that, House had hung up the phone. Wilson sighed, splashed his face with water and began putting on suitable clothes. He put on a random polo and sweats, suitable. He staggered to his car, turning it on and driving to the 24h gas station. Once in, he searched the shelves. Though, everything was empty. Wilson furrowed his eyebrows, continuing to scan the shop until his eyes landed on the holy grail. There it was.
A beat up box of Oreos.
Wilson quickly grabbed it and hurried to the check out, managing to not have a chat with the cashier, and heading to the car again. He sped off, hoping in this time period House wouldn't do another stupid thing.
"What food 'ya get? " House asked, digging through the back seat of Wilsons car.
"Oreos, " Wilson replied with a smirk, pulling the box out of nowhere.
House smiled and took them from his friend.
"How'd you even do this? "
"I was tryna find my elementary school to prove a point to Derrick, you know Derrick! Anyway, I didn't prove my point and I was lost. "
Wilson chuckled, took the Oreos and did what they usually did with Oreos.
4. december 25th, 2004.
"Open your gift! " House exclaimed rather enthusiastically, shoving the gift into Wilson.
"I'm Jewish, we don't do gifts? " Wilson questioned, hesitantly taking the box.
"Hanukkah, han-U-kkah, just open it, " House scoffed.
Wilson looked at House suspiciously. He untied the bow, discarding of the ribbon and ripped the paper. He was met with a box of.. You guess it, Oreos. Wilson chuckled with a genuine smile.
"I guess this is Christmas-Hanukkah dinner, huh? "
"Yes, yes indeed it is. "
5. april 30th, 2008.
"Ahh! My husband! " House exclaimed, walking to Wilson and trying to plant a kiss on him.
Wilson placed his hand in between them, "friends, not husbands. "
House pouted.
The team looked confused at them, deciding to shake it off.
"I packed you lunch, by the way. Thought I'd give it to you, " Wilson declared, handing House the brown paper bag.
"Thanks? "
Wilson walked off with a smirk on his face.
House opened the bag to be met with a box of Oreos, obviously. The bag was way to shaped to be leftovers or a sandwich. House laughed and opened the Oreos, collecting the cream in a small Tupperware and scoffing the cookies.
Wilson found a little Tupperware on his desk with a note.
"For you, my wonderful, sappy husband.
Love, Greggy-pooh <3 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Wilson giggled and took the note off, the Tupperware was filled with cream with dabs of cookie in it.
Let's say, that note had a special place on the fridge.
6. january 4th, 2012.
"I actually ordered off menu, " House declared, looking at Wilson lovingly.
The server presented a plate of just Oreos.
Wilson chuckled lightly, "great."
Wilson took an Oreo, still giggling, House followed suit.
"I did tell you that you didn't hang it high enough, " Wilson laughed.
"I tell you, the bear did untie my knots, smart bear, " House replied.
"Not so smart because it left the Oreos. "
"You survived 30 miles with only white filling, " House chuckled.
"Black stuff is overrated, " Wilson retorted.
They did the usual, definitely getting looks but, they didn't care. It was a nice tradition.
7. september 14th, 2012.
"Found some Oreos in the fridge, randomly, " House yelled, walking into the bedroom where Wilson rested.
"Hmm.. It's a sign, " Wilson grumbled, trying to sit up.
"How about you try your first full Oreo, it's better than that white, sugary stuff, " House remarked.
"No, I like the sugar. " Wilson smiled sadly.
House took a seat next to Wilson, then layed down with him. Wilson huddled into House, placing his head on the latter's chest. House grabbed an Oreo, twisted it open and ate the spare cookie. He handed the other to Wilson - who weakly scrapped the cream off and shakily handed it to House.
"I love you, House. "
"I-.. I love you too. "
Wilson weakly grasped onto Houses hand.
"I'll drag you up the mountain.. I promise. "
"I'll have a checklist.. "
And then there was silence.

camp digimonth 2025!!!
oh my god has it for real been one entire calendar year since i joined @campdigimonth?? INSANE
i couldnt even really think of a goal to set because other interests and life in general happened to football-tackle me in the last week of january last year. i can barely remember what i set out to do. in fact im reading my goals from last year right now and rediscovering that i'd split them into projects, sub-projects, and sub-sub projects. which is kind of ridiculous… but exactly the kind of ridiculous that works for me specifically! i think i'll actually just copy-paste my explanation because it still holds:
"the projects are MANY , and it’s impossible to say which ones i will have the impulse to work on and which ones i wont. i dont want to commit to a specific project and then decide ‘actually i dont feel like working on this one’ so i thought it would make sense to just list a bunch of things i want to do and knock out the ones that i have the most motivation for." -me, circa 365 days ago
so true, me from 1 year ago!!! i'm going to keep the same goals as well:
GOAL: complete 5 sub-sub-projects SECONDARY GOAL: complete 10 sub-sub-projects TERTIARY GOAL: complete 1 entire sub-project OR 15 sub-sub-projects
details on specific projects under the cut because i don't know what brevity means nor am i interested in learning it. WARNING FOR DIGIMON SURVIVE SPOILERS AHEAD. i will mark spoiler start points in RED and end points in GREEN so that you may scroll past them if you so desire
PROJECT 1: Finish Winds of Change winds of change my beloved. i am so sorry that the editing schedule for your final chapter coincided with the realization that final fantasy 7 rebirth was set to release the next month. i regret absolutely nothing - honestly i was starting to burn out a little by the end and i think the break from survive, so it was a net positive. either way id like to finish this fic , perhaps even this month! who can say. i do feel a little apprehensive in that it's been a minute since i wrote for survive and i worry id be a little rusty with the character writing. but these kinds of worries are always not as bad as they seem so fuck it we ball
SUB-PROJECT: Winds of Change Chapter 9
rewrite the parts i want to rewrite
go thru edit checklist
post

SUB-PROJECT: [REDACTED]
[REDACTED]
[REDACTED]
post (dont worry 😇 )
*********************************************
PROJECT 2: Redesign Survive Partners context from last year: "I am very charmed by the idea that a digimon’s design is affected by the events and relationships in their lives. For example, a digimon may change a little in appearance in a way that reflects something about their human partner."
so i've been kinda working on this on-and-off for the past year, mostly doodles that i didn't plan on doing anything with because they weren't polished enough. i actually really like the redesigns i did although i never posted them, so im thinking i just redraw them and colour them with markers this time. or digital. idk we'll see. i'm gonna pick three of the survive digimon and not all of them because if i did that we would be here all day
SUB-PROJECT: Lopmon Redesign
Redraw the one I did already onto marker paper via light table
Colour and ink
Scan at work (my scanner at home HATES certain colours)
Touch-ups
Write mile-long post about design choices
Post
--
SUB-PROJECT: Labramon Redesign
Find a cool dog pose to reference
Draw a Labramon
Move onto marker paper via light table if necessary
Colour and ink
Scan at work
Touch-ups
Write mile-long post about design choices
Post
--
SUB-PROJECT: Agumon Redesign
Remember what the hell my workflow was; I've started this one already except that it's 100% digital which i dont usually do. i seem to recall that i'd found a vaguely similar workflow to the one i use with traditional mediums but i dont remember at all how i managed that. i will have to try to remember how i got that working
Finish colouring
Simple background???
Post
*********************************************
PROJECT 3: Survive Alternate Evos (Digifakes) i refuse to elaborate. i think that doing a big finished colour illustration is not going to be helpful for this since these would be the first passes of all these designs, so this would probably be just some sketches with minimal colour??? maybe??
SUB-PROJECT: Blackavarmon
find & look at blackavarmon's original sketches again to remember what on earth i had in mind
idk just do a bunch of sketches and keep 3-5 of the best ones
low-effort ink/colour
scan at work
post
--
SUB-PROJECT: Tigervespamon Burst Mode
find the few sketches i did last year and try to push them further; i remember feeling like some of the design elements weren't working the way i wanted them to and i gotta tinker with them
tigervespamon burst mode is very much 'what if i take the machine aspects out of this design and add others that cater more to me specifically'. tigervespamon as-is doesnt look enough like a wasp OR a tiger to me and im taking it upon myself to fix that. im going to stare at pictures of tiger jaws and wasp mandibles for six hundred hours until i can mash 'em together in a truly horrific way to make a guy who is SO upsetting to look at <3
close-ups of weird design aspects, probably jaws, arms, face, perhaps wings if i dont fear god
low effort ink/colour
scan at work
post
--
SUB-PROJECT: Mothmanmon
slap together a bunch of reference pictures. mothmanmon has a specific purpose that i refuse to explain, but i also want it to have the vibe of a digimon that isn't necessarily relevant to [REDACTED] or [REDACTED]. unlike blackavarmon or tigervespamon burst mode, i havent even STARTED work on this one so a finished polished definite design isn't the intent
doodle a bunch of concept sketches
ink/colour the one that looks the most like i want it to
scan at work
post
*********************************************
PROJECT 4: Survive Snippets so this probably doesn't come as a surprise to anybody but the survive fics ive posted are barely scratching the surface of what a version of me with infinite spare time would like to explore. ive been tossing ideas around for a while that i want to at least write down. i dont know that i'd post any of them since they'd likely be part of other bigger fics that i CERTAINLY do not have time to write
SUB-PROJECT: Conversation (& fight?) between Dracmon and [REDACTED] you get no information on this (:
--
(DIGISURVIVE SPOILER WARNING START)
SUB-PROJECT: Alternate Kunemon Champion evo scene listen as much as i love survive and love kunemon and think its funny that his big dramatic evolution scene was triggered while battling against (checks notes) actual babies, i dont necessarily think that it was… the uh, most elegant way to go about ryo's partner's first evolution?? the tone of the scene gave me whiplash. i would like to know what it would be like for that scene to have stakes that are more in-line with the other champion-level evolution scenes. i DO know how im going to do this though, vaguely, ive been thinking about it for like over a year. it'll actually also require some changes to syakomon's champion evo scene most likely! the challenge with this one is going to be to boost the impact of flymon's first appearance while not minimizing the impact of shellmon's first appearance. it's a balancing act that im not SUPER intimidated by; i managed something similar in winds of change, but it's still a little different.
--
SUB-PROJECT: Alternate Lopmon Champion Evo scene This would sort of be an epilogue to winds of change! without spoiling much, winds of change is a different outcome of part 5 Truthful where shuuji manages to survive the waterway, but something very very bad still happens. this bad thing would delay lopmon's evolution into turuiemon, and that delayed version would have a different vibe to it than how it was presented in the game's truthful route.
(DIGISURVIVE SPOILER WARNING END)
*********************************************
PROJECT 5: Digimon TTRPG Stuff I play digimon ttrpg with my friends. yet i rarely draw any of our funny little guys. i wish to draw our funny little guys
SUB-PROJECT: Lys the Muscle Wizardmon currently for playtesting i am playing a melee damage wizardmon who did not get great grades in wizard school. so she hits things with a stick instead. good for her!

SUB-PROJECT: Delaney & Herculeomon beach episode Look™

SUB-PROJECT: Nova (Terriermon-x) (& maybe Xander??) beach episode Look™

many things to consider! and neither you nor i know which i will attempt first (: good luck fellow camp digimonth participants! lookin' forward to seeing your progress!

Best places to camp near me
Tent Camping Near Me: Unplug, Relax, and Explore the Outdoors
When life feels too overwhelming and you're yearning for a break, there’s no better way to recharge than spending a few nights tent camping in nature. Whether it’s the simplicity of life outdoors or the thrill of adventure, tent camping offers something for everyone. If you’ve been asking yourself, “Where can I find the best tent camping near me?” this guide will help you discover the top spots and give you tips for making your camping trip one to remember.
The Benefits of Tent Camping
Tent camping is a unique experience because it allows you to immerse yourself in the natural environment. You’ll wake up to the sound of birds singing, feel the fresh breeze against your skin, and fall asleep under a star-filled sky. Tent camping strips away the distractions of modern life and brings you back to the basics, helping you reconnect with nature and yourself.
Aside from the peace and relaxation it provides, tent camping is also a great way to get active. Many campsites are located near hiking trails, rivers for fishing, or lakes where you can swim, kayak, or simply enjoy the view. It’s an affordable way to travel, as campsites are usually inexpensive, and all you need is a tent, a sleeping bag, and a few supplies.
How to Find Tent Camping Near Me
When looking for tent camping spots near you, the best starting point is to think about what type of camping experience you’re seeking. Do you want a quiet, secluded spot deep in the woods, or would you prefer a location that’s closer to amenities and activities like hiking or fishing?
There are many online resources, including camping websites and mobile apps, where you can find reviews and photos of campsites near you. However, if you’re looking for an unforgettable camping experience, consider nirwana stays. Located in a serene and picturesque setting, nirwana stays offers tent campers the perfect combination of peace, adventure, and nature’s beauty. With stunning surroundings and access to outdoor activities, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone looking to camp under the stars.
Preparing for Your Tent Camping Adventure
Once you’ve picked your campsite, preparation is key to ensuring a successful and enjoyable camping trip. Here’s a checklist of essentials to bring along for your tent camping adventure:
1. Tent and Shelter
Your tent is your home away from home, so it’s important to choose one that’s sturdy, weather-resistant, and appropriate for the number of people joining you. Make sure to pack a footprint or tarp to place under your tent, as this will help protect the tent floor from moisture and sharp objects. If possible, test your tent setup before leaving to avoid any surprises at the campsite.
2. Sleeping Essentials
A good sleeping bag, ideally rated for the expected nighttime temperatures, is crucial for staying warm and comfortable. Pair this with a sleeping pad or air mattress to cushion yourself from the ground and ensure a restful night’s sleep. Bringing a pillow from home or a camping pillow will add extra comfort to your tent setup.
3. Cooking Gear and Food
Cooking at the campsite can be one of the highlights of a tent camping trip. Whether you’re cooking over a campfire or using a portable camping stove, pack lightweight cookware, utensils, and plenty of non-perishable food. Make sure to bring a cooler with ice to keep perishables fresh. Classic camping meals like burgers, hot dogs, or foil-wrapped veggies are easy to prepare and always satisfying after a day outdoors.
4. Clothing and Footwear
Dressing in layers is key to staying comfortable during your camping trip, as temperatures can fluctuate throughout the day and night. Bring clothes that can be easily added or removed, along with a waterproof jacket in case of rain. A good pair of hiking boots or sturdy shoes will also make exploring the area much more enjoyable.
5. Campfire and Safety Supplies
Safety should always be a priority when camping. Make sure to pack a first-aid kit, flashlight or headlamp, insect repellent, and sunscreen. Also, bring matches or a lighter for your campfire, and always adhere to campfire regulations at your site to prevent wildfires. Knowing the basics of campfire safety will ensure you can enjoy your fire responsibly.

Scandinavian Travel Checklist: Designing a Bespoke Tour across Northern Europe

Scandinavia is an astonishing part of the world, with cities and landscapes across Denmark, Sweden and Norway Holidays that range from vast open wildernesses to eclectic towns, tiny villages and islands perched in the ocean to sophisticated spa hotels and luxury wellness centres.
If you’re keen to travel to Scandinavia and want to see as much as possible, a tour package is the perfect option. We offer a range of Scandinavian holidays, from winter wonderland trips to relaxing summer adventures and self-guided fly/drive packages.
Let us share some of the best places to go and the most popular things to do in the region, alongside recommendations for activities and excursions you will love.
Creating a Customised Tour of the Scandinavian Countries
One of the brilliant aspects of travelling around Scandinavia is the contrast between the seasons – the region transforms throughout the year with the changing weather, and even if you’ve visited countless times there is always something new to see.
We’d recommend beginning with a checklist of your must-see places or the type of holiday you’d most love to experience – for example:
Would you prefer to travel in the warmest summer months, during the snowy winter, or during spring and autumn when most cities are quieter?
Are there activities you’ve always wanted to try? Perhaps you’d like to hike up a mountain, relax in an authentic outdoor spa, snowmobile across a glacier, or camp in a rural area overnight to watch the Northern lights holiday.
Do you have a particular type of accommodation in mind? We offer a huge selection, including treehouses, ice hotels, glass igloos, rustic summer cabins, ultra-modern hotels and lodges.
Organising a tour means you don’t need to make any compromises – you can incorporate all of your bucket list items into one trip, often starting in one of the major capital cities to soak up some culture and entertainment before you head further out.
Exploring Scandinavia’s Capital Cities
The architecture and history of Scandinavian cities are a big draw for guests. There is a variety of experiences to pick and choose from, such as fine dining, visiting world-famous palaces and museums, walking tours and self-guided tours where you can see the sites via bike or book a boat trip around the local harbour.
Oslo is Norway’s capital, with an urban, contemporary feel, yet surrounded by mountains and greenery. The nightlife is lively and welcoming, and we recommend a stop at one of the superb museums, including the Munch Museum and the Kon-Tiki Museum.
Our next stop is Stockholm, Sweden – a captivating and beautiful city characterised by cobbled streets winding through Gamla Stan, the 13th-century old town, with attractions like the Royal Palace and Nobel Museum.
If your Scandinavian tour includes a visit to Copenhagen, you’ll see colourful houses lining the harbour and canals. You can also visit the stunning Amalienborg Palace, home of the Danish royal family, and the world’s second-oldest amusement park at Tivoli Gardens.
Booking a Winter Tour of Scandinavia
Several Scandinavia tour packages are designed around festive themes, including the Polar Express Train Journey, which takes you on an incredible tour through the Arctic Circle, crossing Norwegian and Swedish Lapland. The eco-friendly transport runs from Kiruna in Sweden to Narvik in western Norway, with opportunities to try a dog sledding safari in the snow and visit the Abisko National Park.
Another great option for a Scandinavian tour holiday in the winter is our Swedish Ice Hotel Adventure. It begins in Stockholm, which is made up of fourteen islands that form the archipelago. Once you’ve finished exploring the city, you’ll head to Swedish Lapland and dive into a truly magical experience.
Scandinavian Travel During the Summer
If your ideal holiday is a summer visit, we can suggest an equally broad array of options, tours and packages. The Castles and Jutland package is a popular fly-drive holiday where you can explore Denmark at your leisure and stay as long as you wish at each landmark or city.
This holiday is suited to visitors of all ages and takes you through the Danish countryside. You will learn about the Viking heritage of this fascinating country, visit pristine beaches along the wild coastline, sample Nordic cuisine, and see historic ruins and museums at each stop.
Highlights include a stop-off at the original Legoland in Billund, which opened in 1968 and is adjacent to the Lego factory, and a visit to the beaches in Skagen – Skagen Sønderstrand and Gammel Skagen Strand are both great places to visit.
Recommended Places to Visit During Scandinavia Tours
Scandinavia offers such diversity that it’s impossible to curate a list of everything we’d recommend. Still, below, we’ve highlighted some amazing views and structures you’ll not see anywhere else in the world.
Denmark and Sweden: Oresund Bridge
This bridge connects Sweden and Denmark and sweeps for five miles above the Oresund Strait. There is an underwater tunnel, an above-ground bridge and even an artificial island called Peberholmen. As a feat of engineering, the bridge is the longest road or railway in the world and can be seen from the air as you land in Copenhagen.
Norway: Preikestolen Cliffs
At 2,000 feet high, these cliffs are far above the Lysefjord below. They are a granite plateau accessible via a short, steep hiking path that takes roughly three hours to climb. This is another unique Scandinavian landscape that keen hikers should never miss—the view is breathtaking.
Sweden: The Stockholm Archipelago By Boat
We’ve mentioned Stockholm, but a tour of the archipelago by boat is a great day out in itself. There are numerous islands to explore, with the chance to stop off and cycle along the nature trails or see the ancient Viking graves, with seabirds, eagles and seals often spotted along the cliffs and coastlines.
Booking Travel and Transport throughout a Scandinavian Holiday
Travel is part of the excitement of Scandinavian tours, where you can experience an overnight train ride across borders, hire a car for a once-in-a-lifetime road trip, or navigate the Norwegian fjords aboard a ferry – spotting rare wildlife and even the Aurora Borealis in the right winter weather conditions.
There are plenty of sustainable, eco-friendly travel options throughout the region, especially in Norway – examples include emissions-free public transport networks across Oslo and electric ferries and trams.
Please review our comprehensive range of tours and packages online. You’ll find full itineraries, flight details, and lists of the attractions, excursions, and accommodations included.
If you need any assistance tailoring your Scandinavian tour or can’t find what you’re looking for, please feel free to contact the expert travel consultants at the Baltic Travel Company.

Ocean couldn't stop smiling. Matteo was excited for this weekend, more excited than he had been in a long time he said, and that was something Ocean couldn't wrap his head around. All the time he felt like a burden, like he sucked the fun out of everything, and he usually tried not to force people to put up with him. But everything Matteo was saying was contrary to that notion. "Me either," Ocean admitted. "Actually...I haven't been so excited for anything in awhile." His heart was racing, but not in the usual anxious way. On the contrary, Ocean kept thinking of the camping trip, of just the two of them, of the things they would do. Maybe it was foolish to go camping with someone he just met, but Ocean trusted Matteo already. It was such an innate connection between them; it wouldn't feel right not to trust the man. "I'll get vegan marshmallows too," Ocean told Matteo. "People have told me they taste the same as regular marshmallows. And I don't know if veggie dogs compare to regular hot dogs, but I think they're good." Ocean was already making a mental checklist for the things he would need to get for their camping trip.
Being in Matteo's office felt like the man was letting Ocean have a look into his mind, like he was letting him into his private domain, and Ocean felt honored to be trusted in that way. And Ocean couldn't get over just how talented Matteo was. He saw paintings in different stages of restoration, and he could see the fine details Matteo had put into it, the way he had worked so hard to hide the fact that it had been restored in the first place. Ocean thought that was why a lot of people didn't really see how talented these kinds of artists were: it was because they had to hide their work, not show it off. But Ocean saw it, and he had a deep respect for it - and for Matteo. "It feels like you," Ocean replied as he continued to admire the office. "Cozy and warm and unique and interesting. I like it a lot." All of those adjectives could be used to describe Matteo as well.
There were so many different voices competing in Ocean's mind right now. Among them was the darkest voice, his voice, the one telling Ocean he would never be this talented and that it was a waste of time to even try, but that voice was being drowned out by the others. One of the loudest right now was the voice freaking out over the fact that Ocean was touching Matteo so casually. This was not something Ocean generally did. While he was touchy and affectionate with his family and close friends, he'd just met Matteo. But then again, it didn't feel like they had just met. So Ocean tried to quiet the voices and just focus on his new friend, on how it felt like they were connected when Ocean was touching his back, rubbing it and showing his affection for the man. It felt right, that's what another of the voices was telling him, and Ocean focused on that. When Matteo began saying all of those wonderful things, Ocean blushed brightly, but he smiled too. Part of him wanted to refute these words, and indeed, Ocean didn't believe them, not even a little bit. But they were having such a nice moment, and he didn't want to ruin it. "I used to feel that way about myself," Ocean said somberly, his smile fading. "Believe it or not, I used to be really confident." That version was gone now though.
Eventually Ocean was ready to take Matteo to his house, and he asked, "Are you ready to see my studio?" But then he paused, realizing a problem. "I...I walked here," Ocean told the man. He wasn't sure if Matteo had a car or if he walked too. "Is that okay?" Ocean asked.
Oceans light was infectious, Matteo couldn’t help but flash a broad smile in return. One that was all teeth, one that made the sides of his eyes crinkle. A physical reminder of just how much he enjoyed being in his presence. Matteo’s heart was racing fast in his chest as he listened to Ocean speak, trying to process the stirring of emotions that pulled at his heartstrings. The one’s brought on by his very presence. “I haven’t been this excited for a weekend in a long time.” He admitted, a familiar warmth spreading in his chest. The warmth of their budding connection — it was something that Matteo was starting to relish in. Like a campfire. Or how he felt when Ocean had touched his hand out in the gallery. He pulled himself out of his head and shook it “Veggie dogs are great with me. I’ll admit I tried a hot dog at a baseball game and I thought it was alright,” he took a pause to properly grimace “until the next day, someone told me what they are. Never again.”
Matteo noticed Ocean taking in every detail of his cluttered office and he felt a sense of pride, and vulnerability. It was a reflection of him and he wondered if Ocean saw the man underneath. The one trying to navigate all of his hopes and fears. The one he wanted to let into his life. He could feel the door starting to open and it filled him with hope. “Thank you, Ocean,” he said softly, his eyes meeting Ocean’s for a moment “I’ve put a lot of myself into this space and I’m very glad it resonates with you.” He also noticed the change in his eyes. Doubting himself through the mask of admiring the handiwork. Matteo wished he wouldn’t do that so much — doubt himself. Not because it was annoying or because it bothered him. But because he had only just met him and he could already tell how exceptional Ocean really was. He wanted him to see it. He wanted to make him feel that way.
When Ocean approached him near the desk, he could feel their proximity. He had to close his eyes for a moment in a futile attempt to still his beating heart. Which wasn’t beating at this point, it was pounding — rattling against his ribcage, threatening to burst from his chest and present itself on the desk just for Ocean. And when he placed a hand on Matteo’s back it almost did. Oh! Merde! His breath catches in his throat and he turned slightly to face him. A mixture of surprise and adoration etched across his features. “Ocean,” he started, it began as a whisper and he felt compelled to reach towards his free hand “art, craftsmanship, it’s not just talent. It’s compassion, understanding. Traits that ooze from you, Ocean. That’s the greatest gift of all. Not talents.” Matteo gives him a wry, warm smile as he takes a moment to really assess his features. He’s acutely aware of the feeling of his hand against his back, the other one right at his fingertips and it makes his head reel deliciously.
