So. I feel like the interview yesterday actually went quite well and they said I'll hear back by the end of the week after they've interviewed everyone.. so like holy shit I might have to think about writing up my notice and telling my manager I'm leaving, which is fucking terrifying. But.. I might actually be out of there which would be great. Like I'd miss my colleagues a lot bc they're all so lovely. But also I just can't stay in such a stressful environment working such shitty hours. I just checked my shifts and they've added me a 4pm-midnight shift next sunday. On a week's notice??? And not given me another day off lol. THIS is why I have to leave even if I don't get this job, I have to keep applying. Anyway it went fine, I felt like I gave them plenty of skills and experience I have that would make me a good fit for that job. I have got to move forward 🤘

Anyway. In other news it's my birthday! I'm cuddling my pup and eating caterpillar cake in bed for breakfast. Truly living the dream 🥳🥳

One benefit of being an adult is that I can buy a whole cake at the store and then eat it with a fork, and no one can tell me no. With the shitty day yesterday, I needed it. And the rest of the week. Friday is going to suck.

I swap out the water for milk or cream and the oil for melted butter. Makes a much better cake.
