Currently Reading: I'm reading Men Who Love Dragons Too Much by fencer-x for the first time but I'm also re-reading Where There's a Will by Rex Stout.

Currently Watching: I'm on my nth rewatch of the Wire, am currently on season 2; I don't know if you can get a whiff of the general theme here (I'm a consummate re-reader/watcher).

Currently Craving: mango, for someone to pack my things for me (am moving house real soon but you'd never be able to tell from my apartment).

Coffee or tea: coffee, but only if I can put milk in it. I constantly bring shame to my countrymen with my cappuccino/caffèlatte mania yet I persist undeterred.

Which one is most correct: caffè latte, caffelatte, caffèlatte, or caffellatte? Or some secret fifth option? I tried looking it up, but I'm getting mixed results. :/

Treccani (trusted Italian vocabulary and grammar resource) states "caffellatte" as the best version, and "caffelatte" as a less correct but still used option. We don't really pronounce the double L (caffellatte) cause the original (and valid/correct -meaning you can use it too) definition is "caffè e latte": when talking we pronounce it so fast that with time we ended up making it a one-word definition. Grammatically speaking though, there has to be a double L there if we use this one-word definition. Anyway because of this mess, we do get creative when we have to write it so I understand your struggle (it's the same for us) lol

恵比寿に行ったら、ヴェルデに立ち寄らないわけにはいかない。 ブレンドは煎り具合違いで3種類、ストレートだと酸味・中間味・深みでさらに細分化されていて10種類以上。しかも毎日朝夕の1日2回焙煎。マスターに「コク少し深めで、酸味とのバランスが取れてるもの」と聞いたら「ホンジュラス」をオススメされたので、朝はカフェラテでいざ。豆の照りがすでにセクシー。 マスターの言う通り、コク少し深めで、ほのかな酸味の良いバランスなのでミルクと相性が非常に◎
