Just gonna drop a little oc lore right here…
If not for being a stillborn, Nicholas Armand Malfoy would’ve become the husband of Céléase Rosier. And so when it came time for Narcissa to find a promising husband, it was Céléase who played matchmaker and set her niece up with Lucius Malfoy.

Monsieur Ludovic “Louis” Delacour is a celebrated composer, pianist, and conductor whose contributions to the world of classical music have earned him international acclaim. Born into a an upper middle class pure-blood family of artists in Paris within the year 1951, he exhibited prodigious talent from a young age, beginning piano lessons by the time he was four. Once he reached ten years of age, he had already performed at prestigious venues across Europe, making a name for himself through his musical talent.
During one of his concerts in 1975, he became acquainted with the lovely Apolline Volant through her adoptive mother Céléase Rosier. The two would later then marry within that same year, Apolline becoming pregnant with her first daughter shortly after their honeymoon. Together, Louis and Apolline would have two daughters: Fleur Weasley (née Delacour) and Gabrielle Delacour, who was named after Apolline’s late father, Gabriel Volant.
Louis would later become the namesake of his grandson Louis Weasley, son of Bill and Fleur Weasley.
This is my own interpretation of Fleur and Gabriel’s father. The original character Céléase Rosier belongs to @harbinger-0f-spring, whilst Gabriel Volant belongs to @lazyreinelle.

Isabelle Huppert as Apolline Delacour (née Volant), daughter of Gabriel Volant and Tatiana Volant (née Lebedev). She was primarily raised by her father's cousin, Céléase Rosier.
Almost a decade after graduation, she meets the charming Louis Delacour and marries him, soon becoming the mother of Fleur Weasley (née Delacour) and Gabrielle Delacour, named her after her father Gabriel Volant.
Tatiana Volant née Lebedev is @konstantynowitz's OC, and Céléase Rosier belongs to @harbinger-0f-spring ! This is my personal fancast for Apolline Delacour!

Céléase Rosier HCs Pt. 3
In honor of Céléase's birthday tomorrow here are some HCs! Some old and some new facts will be mentioned.
Céléase Rosier was a metamorphmagus but had to suppress this ability due to it not being socially acceptable within high-standing pure-blood families at the time.
She was allergic to Pegasus feathers and ironically Beauxbatons used Pegasai to fly their carriages - poor Lissie, imagine her having an allergic reaction just from passing the stables on the way to class...
When she was enrolled at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Céléase was sorted into Papillonlisse due to her sociable personality and vibrant character.
Lissie was really appreciative of the arts, including the magical talent of those shunned by high-standing wizarding society (elves, goblins, hybrids, etc.)
Once she got older, Céléase would throw extravagant, flamboyant parties, or soirées, featuring a diverse group of guests and a very open and accepting atmosphere. Anyone was welcome whether you were muggle/muggleborn, half-blood, pure, or any magical being within the wizarding world seeking a safe haven and a good time.

Lissie's nickname for her elder brother Étienne was "Tetty" since at a young age she couldn't properly pronounce his actual name.
She was very good at concealment charms. Céléase inherited the de Trefle-Picques talent to mask the reality of things with very advanced enchantments taught to her by Eglantine.
She first practiced it with the help of her mother due to Eglantine's tendency to conceal Lissie's everchanging appearance when she had yet learned how to control her abilities.
Eglantine ensured that her daughter knew how to hide that side of herself, thinking that Lissie would be considered "undesirable" to suitors if she didn't.
The Rosiers never registered Céléase as a metamorphmagus, due to the shame they feared it would bring to the family. Laurent and Eglantine knew it would ruin their reputation and possibly steer away potential husbands for their daughter in the future.
Lissie loved to sculpt. She had a greenhouse in the back of her estate where she'd often engage in pottery as a pastime.
Within her own family, Lissie was an outcast, especially as she got older and started leaning towards more open-minded views about wizarding society.
The Rosier family were not very notorious for disowning relatives who shared different beliefs on blood purity, especially when they never openly expressed them to the public. In the eyes of her parents and siblings, Céléase had let herself be misguided and the consequence for this was to be quietly estranged from them.
Bellatrix despised her aunt, viewing Lissie as too "weak-willed" to carry out the pure-blood supremacist ideals that their family had prided themselves upon. She had always been disgusted by Céléase for her acceptance of even the most "filthiest" of creatures (aka mudbloods+creatures classified as "underbeings").
Andromeda felt an unspoken connection with her aunt that resonated inside of her even as a child. On the very minimal occasions she's met Céléase, they had always been able to find common ground with one another. Andy looked up to Lissie because of how she found freedom and happiness in a life that was once soul-stifling.
Narcissa's view of her aunt is somewhat complicated. I think that the youngest of the Black sisters was confused about how to feel about Lissie because Druella had become so distant with her. From seeing how her mother and aunt acted around each other made her scared for the future relationships she would have with her own sisters. The fear most likely surfaced especially once Andromeda left the family to be with Ted, maybe even having tried to convince her elder sister not to go because she "didn't want to end up like Mother and Auntie Lissie".
During her earlier years, Céléase was the lover of Tatiana Borisovna Lebedeva, a half-Veela witch from Russia. The two started dating during the on and off periods of Lissie's relationship with Ambrose, who became a Death Eater shortly after their graduation from Beauxbatons.
At the time, the two considered themselves broken up (or at least Lissie did), as the young Rosier girl attempted to disassociate herself from Avery. With Ambrose out of her life, Céléase was able to focus on other things, including her new relationship with Tatiana, who was actually rumored to be betrothed to Lissie's cousin Gabriel Volant.
In 1954, around the time Lissie was twenty, the young Rosier girl gave birth to a child she had out of wedlock with Ambrose Avery. The baby's name was Ersilia, but due to the circumstances under which she was born, Lissie would end up giving her daughter to her elder cousin, Ghislaine Volant.
Céléase regrets not being able to keep her daughter. Overtime I believe she would be going over scenarios in which she could've raised Ersilia. For a few fleeting moments, perhaps Lissie thought that maybe she could've escaped to the muggle world and raise her daughter there, away from the suffocating purist beliefs of their family and the scandal that came along with Ersilia's birth.
She just wanted to be a mother, and when she was given the chance to become one she had to give it up. In spite of this, Céléase would find herself being given a second chance at motherhood when her cousin Gabriel Volant tragically dies, leaving his young daughter Apolline an orphan.
Lets just say that Lissie has a tendency of taking in other peoples' children that are either disowned or orphaned and raising them as her own... which probably stems from the fact that she was never actually able to raise the one child that was actually made from her flesh and blood.
Lissie was very accepting of Mathilde Ollivier when she married Étienne. She even went as far as to encourage her brother to be patient with his new wife, understanding that she was being brought into a whole different environment compared to what she was used to back in France.
During Mathilde's performance as her first introduction to her future in-laws, Céléase went with her family to support Étienne. She was captivated by the young dancer, perhaps being the only one of her family who truly saw the message of dedication Mathilde longed to provide Étienne once they were married.
Lissie and Mathilde bonded over their love for all different forms of art, which helped the new Rosier bride to find a dependable source of comfort during her years of isolation and misplacement once she moved to England.
Ambrose Avery, Ghislaine and Gabriel Volant belong to @lazyreinelle

I think you mentioned in your post about Céléase Rosier not getting along with Valére Lémieux. What was that about?
The two met a few times through their mutual in-laws, and Céléase just never got the best impression of him. He was a man who exuded confidence, but Céléase couldn't help but see through the bravado. She knew that deep down Valére was aware he didn't have to act the way he did in front of others, but with his more vain and egotistical disposition he didn't know how to be anything other than what he pretended to be. Lissie saw him as a coward and his very presence disgusted her, even though a part of her did somewhat pity him... after all, he had been one of the less fortunate to escape his complicated upbringing, unlike Lissie.
I guess what really ticked Céléase off the most was that he didn't want to escape the wealth and privileges that was his birthright, even if that meant holding on to the empty accolades and superficial friendships that surrounded him. Valére knew everything in his life was fake, that he was fake. Some parts of himself he could never reveal out of fear of being outcasted by his family, and Lissie saw right through the facade he put up.

Ersilia Volant with her mother, Céléase?
Ersilia and her mother have a complicated relationship. The two have a civil interaction during their time at Bill and Fleur's wedding, which only happened through Apolline's influence when talking to Ersilia about Céléase's presence...
Apolline: oh, and your mother's here, why don't you go talk to her?
*Ersilia sweating bullets, her heart thumping a hundred miles per second as she imagines herself taking so much as a step in Lissie's direction*
Something I should bring to your attention: Apolline lived in France during her adulthood, so she and Ersilia actually saw each other quite often. The two would develop a decent relationship with one another, despite not having been raised together. (I could even see Ersilia potentially being involved in the lives of her "nieces" Fleur and Gabrielle) - that's a thought for another day though!
Since Ersie was raised by the Volants, Apolline may have even known her cousin since childhood! I doubt that Céléase would've kept "Polly" (idk nicknames aren't really my thing 😅) all to herself. I have an inkling that Apolline probably went to visit a few uncles or maybe even her aunt Ghislaine in her youth... so the "sisters" might've had some interaction with each other.
At the wedding, Ersilia would linger near her Volant relatives, and maybe a couple of the Delacours. I have a feeling she would've gotten along well with Louis Delacor, Fleur's father. He has such an affable and friendly disposition, with the carefree and whimsical personality that many artists have, if you know what I mean. I think that Ersilia would gravitate towards people who were polar opposites of herself.
Ersilia is introverted and reserved, not being much of a socializer. She has a very aloof way of going about things, which can make interacting with others in public a little awkward. In terms of traits inherited by Lissie, her vibrant and sociable personality wasn't one of 'em 😂 so being invited to Fleur and Bill's wedding must've been Hell on Earth for her with all those people there.
The relationship that Ersilia had with Céléase during her adulthood was a little rocky at first. It took the help of the Delacour family to officially reunite them because that was the only real "link" the two had between each other. Apolline probably did try to encourage Ersilia to reach out to Lissie when they were older, maybe around their late twenties or early thirties. The only thing is that Ersilia was too scared to be the first one to reach out. Lissie, on the other hand, felt guilty and remorseful for giving up her child in the first place and thought that maybe Ersilia wouldn't want to have a relationship with her.
So obviously it all took a while to get mother and daughter to realize that they needed each other and wanted to be in one another's lives, even if they weren't ready to admit it just yet.
I could see Céléase defending Ersilia during the attack at the wedding - LIKE THOSE MATERNAL INSTINCTS JUST KICK IN! She would be throwing spells left and right (perhaps maybe a few forbidden ones, as well 👀), all for the sake of protecting her child. Lissie would probably go just as crazy as Bellatrix in that moment, but of course there would be a little refined flare to her badassery 💅
After that I think that's when Ersilia and Céléase start bonding more and opening up to each other. There would be a lot of apologies on Lissie's end for not keeping Ersilia or being more involved in her childhood while she was living with the Volants. I believe that Ersilia would need to hear reassurances from Lissie that her mother did indeed love her, because I'm sure a part of her thought that she was just a "dirty secret" meant to be contained.

Céléase Rosier - Headcanons Pt.1
Céléase Rosier is my own OC I made to be the sister of Druella Black (née Rosier) and @konstantynowitz's Étienne Rosier.
Keep in mind this is just a brain dump so not everything typed is going to give the full picture, but it should at least give you guys an idea and better outlook on this oc.
Céléase Rosier was born in 1934 to Eglantine Volant and Laurent Rosier, the younger brother of Grindelwald's most loyal acolyte Vinda Rosier. She had two elder siblings: Étienne Rosier, the father of Evan and Felix; and Druella Rosier, who married Cygnus Black and with whom she had three daughters with: Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa.
She grew up in the shadow of her sister Druella, the most desired of the two. Ella was already out in society by the time Céléase was fourteen, collecting suitors left and right, all of which were from noble pure-blood families of their own.
Despite being only two years younger than her sister, Céléase often found herself overlooked by wizards eager to win Druella's favor. As the suitors scrambled for Druella's hand, Céléase was frequently forgotten, even though her own introduction to society was approaching soon.
Eglantine was very protective of Céléase and had the tendency of treating her like a fragile little flower, refusing to accept that like the rest of her children, her youngest was also beginning to grow up. Her mother's insistence on keeping Céléase sheltered served as a kind of confinement for the youngest Rosier sibling.
Some could say that Céléase was Eglantine's favorite child, but others would say that Eglantine's constant smothering was more suffocating than nurturing. While Eglantine believed she was shielding Céléase from the harsh realities of the world, her overprotectiveness stifled her daughter’s independence.
The only taste of freedom she managed to get during her youth was through Étienne, who would usually be tasked by Eglantine to accompany his sister if she wished to go somewhere off the estate property; Céléase could only leave the manor when a chaperone was present.
Arm-in-arm they'd walk with one another, Étienne always being the one on the sidewalk nearest to the road just in case a carriage passed by. He wouldn't want his little sister being trampled by a Pegasus or have an allergic reaction to their feathers.
(because Céléase was indeed allergic and it would not be a pleasant sight for Étienne to see his sister breaking out in hives)
Eglantine would've killed her son if that were to have happened.
Anyways, compared to his mother, Étienne wasn't as overbearing. While Eglantine's protective nature often bordered on suffocating, Étienne understood the importance of allowing Céléase some freedom to explore. He balanced his instinct to safeguard her with the realization that his sister needed the space to grow and discover the world on her own terms.
This nuanced approach made their relationship more open and trusting; Céléase knew that she was able to depend on Étienne to provide support and exhibit respect in areas that their mother lacked when it came to her own independence.
If you've watched FBWTFT then you'd remember the jazz club disguised by that enchanted advertisement on the wall. Well, lets just say that when Céléase was a little older, maybe around the ages of sixteen or seventeen, her brother would take her to something like that.
Sometimes on Céléase's little excursions with Étienne, the siblings would visit hidden bars or clubs so that she could see a little bit more their world had to offer, rather than being stuck at home with Eglantine breathing down her neck.
By this time, Étienne was twenty-four and had already graduated from Hogwarts, dedicating himself to the early uprising of Voldemort as one of his Death Eaters. In spite of this, he still made time to look after his little sister.
Céléase always admired the jazz singers that would perform on stage in the late evenings when her brother would take her. She'd love to sing along to the music, especially to the ones her mother usually forbade her to listen to when in the house.
There was this one special singer that Céléase loved the most: Imelda, a half-goblin, half-elf who frequently sang at the club Étienne took her to (which he did with purpose since he knew that his sister loved Imelda and he'd always be looking at her schedule so that he knew when she was going to be on stage).
When Imelda started releasing her own albums, Étienne would purchase them for his sister without their mother's knowledge so that she could listen to them from the comfort of her own room on the nights when she couldn't go out.
One evening, Étienne took Céléase backstage before one of Imelda’s performances as a surprise and by the end of the night she found herself singing alongside her idol.
Let’s just say that this is when Céléase really began to break free from the golden cage she’d been living in for so long, having finally just seen a glimpse of a life she could only ever imagine in a fever dream.
Due to Grindelwald’s imprisonment in 1945, the Rosier family were permitted to return to France. At this time, Céléase was expected to be enrolling at Hogwarts like her elder siblings before her, but instead her mother decided to send her to Beauxbatons now that they were allowed to return to their home country.
Céléase went to live with her uncle Floxel Volant and his wife Pascaline, staying with them for seven years while she attended Beauxbatons. To their niece, Floxel and Pascaline became second parents and treated her like their daughter.
Druella was already in her third year at Hogwarts so she wasn't going to be transferring to Beauxbatons and go to live with her mother's family like her sister was.
Besides, one of the main reasons why Eglantine wanted her youngest daughter to go to France was to find a potential husband. Ella herself had already been offered plenty of promising betrothals so her mother wasn't worried about her eldest finding a good husband while remaining in England.
Eglantine tasked her sister-in-law Pascaline to introduce her daughter to a few pure-blood nobles within French society, hoping that in time one of them would ask for Céléase's hand in marriage.
While living with her aunt and uncle, she was closest with her cousin Gabriel Volant, who like Céléase, was not an extremist when it came to their family's purist ideologies. He was more open-minded and accepting towards muggles, and did not believe that just because he was a pure-blood he had the right to belittle and oppress them.
Gabriel was the youngest of Floxel and Pascaline's children, having been born around 1931, making him only three years older than his little cousin. Due to the slight age gap, this would mean that Gabriel was already in his fourth year at Beauxbatons Academy of Magic when Céléase enrolled.
The cousins did not interact with each other much during their early childhoods because of the Rosier family's inability to return to France during Grindelwald's uprising. Even so, Céléase and Gabriel managed to reconnect fairly quickly. Gabriel did not shy away from his little cousin, in spite of their earlier estrangement.
The last time the two saw each other was in 1936, before Laurent Rosier moved his family to England. At the time, Gabriel would've only been five and Céléase was two. Of course, the cousins would correspond through letters on holidays and birthdays, but they never met again in person up until Céléase went to live with Floxel and Pascaline.

Céléase Rosier - Headcanons Pt. 2
Thank you to @lazyreinelle for creating the character Ambrose Avery!
circa 1950 - Lissie's broken relationship with her brother
When Lissie found out that Étienne was getting involved with Voldemort, she was distraught. The thought of her brother being used as the Dark Lord's puppet for his own agenda made her blood run cold.
She always knew that Étienne was part of an elite group of pure-blood supremacists led by Riddle, but when things escalated Lissie never expected her beloved "Éttie" to stick with him.
"I'm not going to just stand here and watch you give your life away to that monster," Lissie says, her voice quivering as tears prickling at the corners of her eyes.
Lissie's bleary gaze fixated on the cloaked figure in front of her, their face concealed by a mask of intricate design. He stood across the room from the young Rosier girl, but even at a distance she knew it was her brother.
Étienne scoffed from behind his mask, his hands clenching at his side as he held back his frustration. "I am doing this for us," he murmured, his tone giving way to his irritation. "For all pure-bloods."
Céléase shook her head, refusing to accept her brother's explanation as she countered it with her own retort. "And for what? You are losing yourself to him, Étienne. You are not the same man I once knew."
From behind his mask, Lissie could almost feel the sneer forming on her brother's face, but continued to stand her ground, in spite of the overwhelming tension in the air.
"Please, Éttie," she begged once more, blinking away the tears that were now rolling down her cheeks. "Please don't make me watch you do this to yourself."
As she starred at Étienne from across the room, she could barely recognize him, and it wasn't just because of the mask. he was like a stranger, a mere shell of the Étienne Rosier Lissie had once known.
"Just don't watch then," Étienne murmured indifferently, his eyes now refusing to meet his sister's watery blue-green orbs.
"Éttie-" Céléase croaked out, but it was too late, Étienne had apparated out of the room and Lissie was left alone to deal with her own inner turmoil churning in the pit of her stomach.
circa 1952 - Nervous Breakdowns
Céléase was a metamorphmagus, but she was taught to suppress her ability as it was not socially acceptable at the time.
Whenever her emotions are heightened, Lissie loses control of her shapeshifting powers, which would oftentimes get her reprimanded by her parents or siblings (specifically Druella).
During her seventh year at Beauxbatons, Laurent and Eglantine took Druella to go visit Lissie in France.
At this point in her life, Céléase was talking to a Ambrose Avery, an arrogant boy who fancied the young Rosier girl.
He was always such an ass towards Lissie, always trying to provoke her temper merely just to get her attention.
Laurent and Eglantine were walking around the school's grounds while reminiscing on when they attended Beauxbatons. Out of nowhere, Avery confidently struts up to them, his lips upturned in a cocky smile.
Lissie tries to get him to leave but Avery completely ignores her and at this point it's too late because Laurent and Eglantine already noticed the boy.
Ambrose, being the stuck-up, snobby that he is, politely introduces himself to the Rosiers. First, he takes Eglantine's hand into his and brings it up to his lips, pressing a brief kiss to them like any gentleman would do.
He then turns to Laurent, bowing his head politely in the older man's direction before outstretching his hand for a handshake. After the gesture is reciprocated, Laurent acknowledges Ambrose as the son of a former peer Aldéric Avery.
Of course, Laurent mentions this and Ambrose practically jumps at the opportunity to do something that would make Lissie's blood boil over.
"Well, sir, you can expect to see him at my family's holiday party in three days." Ambrose shoots Lissie a sly grin before returning his attention back to Mister Rosier. "It would be my pleasure to host you and your wife at Avery Manor for the evening. Of course your lovely daughter is invited, as well."
Now Lissie was absolutely fuming, especially when Laurent accepted the invitation almost instantly without allowing Lissie get so much as a word in.
All the while Ambrose spares Lissie a quick, playful wink before taking his leave.
Fast forward three days - Christmas break
Lissie and Druella were sitting in a carriage, on their way to Avery Manor when suddenly Lissie's hair started rapidly changing different colors.
When Druella notices, her nose scrunches up in distaste, muttering something about how Lissie "needed to relax" and "get a grip on her emotions." Obviously she wasn't in the mood to deal with her sister's nerves.
At this point, Lissie just can't stop thinking of Ambrose, her mind spinning with images of the bastard: his captivating smile, both charming and mischievous, drove her absolutely insane. His self-assured, cocky demeanor was something he carried well, even if it vexed her to no end. And his eyes, the ones that would always lock on her whenever she entered a room Ambrose was in... she could get lost in them forever if only he'd let her.
Lissie feels her heart skip a beat and her palms starting to get clammy. She begins hyperfixating on her appearance, using over her now maroon-colored hair, using the carriage window's reflection as a way to check herself.
On the surface she didn't know why she was feeling this way, but deep down she knew that she was starting to care about what Ambrose thought of her appearance tonight.
Céléase wanted to be perfect for him, to have his approval, to impress him. Why? Because she was beginning to think that she had fallen for the man.
Druella rolls her eyes as Lissie struggles from holding back a few nervous snorts as her nose transforms into a pig's snout. "Céléase, control yourself," Ella chastised, sounding a bit too much like Eglantine for Lissie's liking.

For the past month I've been working with @konstantynowitz in making family trees for our original characters within the hp universe. As of late, we've gotten pretty far in the development of the families working together. I'd already said in a post I made this afternoon that I have been assigned the Rosier branch of this tree and intend to expand on it the best I can. This collaboration will definitely not be a fast process, but in time we hope to complete the entirety of this tree and fill in a couple blanks for you guys to get the full picture of what Konstantyn and I have created together. Right now, there are a few missing pieces within the Rosier branch, but in the next few weeks I plan to complete it. In this tree, I've added a few new ocs into the family. I will go over a few names with you in this post, as well as give you a glimpse into the tree itself.
From the sneak peak Konstantyn had posted recently about the English branch of the Lestrange family, some of you might've already seen part of the Black family's side of the tree. Let's just say that the Blacks will be the last tree Konstantyn and I work on together as it has the most members, but right now my main focus will be on the Rosiers, which are featured on the right side of the tree.
The Rosiers were a wealthy and influential pure-blood family and allies of Grindelwald from the late 1920s to the late 1940s. At the top of the family tree are Eglantine Rosier (née Volant) and Laurent Rosier, both loyal acolytes of Gellert Grindelwald. Eglantine and Laurent are the parents of Druella Black (née Rosier) and Étienne Rosier, who is Konstantyn's version of Rosier Sr., a classmate of Tom Riddle. In addition to Druella and Étienne, I have created my own Rosier sibling, Céléase, who is the youngest of the bunch.
Here are the children's birth dates in order:
Étienne Rosier - b. 1926
Druella Rosier - b. 1932
Céléase Rosier - b. 1934
Laurent Rosier was born in France within the year 1903 and was the younger brother of Vinda Rosier, Grindelwald's most faithful servant. Around the 1930s, Laurent was imprisoned by the French Ministry when he was found guilty of financially supporting Grindelwald and his Alliance. By 1936, he was released with the support of many prominent pure-blood socialites who were either close acquaintances of Rosier, or close friends that all shared in his ideals. The charges against Laurent were dropped and shortly after this incident he moved his family to Great Britain.
If you'd like to know more about Laurent's involvement with Grindelwald and his followers then you can pop into the inbox of @konstantynowitz since he is their oc.
There are a few blanks regarding the earlier members of the Rosier family, which is something I am going to be working on later. As of now, I don't have names for the parents of Eglantine Volant or her husband. In spite of this, I have made progress on Eglantine's maternal line which consists of the noble Trefle-Picques family that hold a French Dukedom within their bloodline, and the Escoffier-Floquent family (a wizarding family of my own making).

I have nothing much else to share about the Rosier family itself, but I have been branching off a bit into the French side of the Lestrange family and have connected both lines through Minette Rosier. In this tree, I've made Minette the great-great-aunt of Vinda and Laurent, which would make their father (who is currently unnamed) third cousins with Leta Lestrange.
I know that it’s still a little bare, but I am going to keep working on building it up and will post updates with @konstantynowitz so that we can show the progress we are making with all of this. I would understand if some people may still have questions because not everything that I’ve introduced about the Rosiers was explained in this post. I’m open to hear anyone’s thoughts or questions about anything so feel free to message me anytime.

Étienne, arriving at the desk: Hello, is there a problem?
Store Worker, pointing to Céléase and Druella: I believe they belong to you?
Céléase and Druella, simultaneously: We got lost.
Étienne: I didn’t even bring you guys here with me—

If Céléase Rosier could write a letter to her daughter Ersie, what would she write? Would she explains her regrets? Would she try building a friendly rapport, getting to know the child she never got to keep despite bringing her into the world?
I actually don’t know! Although I am fond of these characters, they aren’t ones I’ve created, so in the grand scheme of things, I wouldn’t decide what words would be expressed in the letter.
I’m sure there would be a lot of regrets spoken of. Lissie definitely had her reasons for giving Ersie to Ghislaine, even if her choices may not have been favorable.
In the end, I’m sure it would’ve been made clear to Ersilia that her mother was only trying to give her daughter her best chance at life.
