100 red flags chapter 20 spoilers
Now look I understand he is hurting, he is bottling up his emotions and I sympathize with that and can understand him lashing out but....please shut up for the love of fucking god you aren't helping the situation and are just proving the fact that the server isolates him when there are people who have done worse but aren't treated nearly as bad and holy shit I seriously don't care that you “lost respect for him” he is literally here because of a fucking suicide attempt and you know that. When will we be able to not lash out back at a clearly mentally ill man and make things worse for five seconds and just try to make things better instead because he literally cannot handle people lashing out so suddenly like this and yall made him feel threatened and he only has one healthy coping mechanism which is humor but yall took that away so he resorted to the ugly ones which just made you lash out and made things worse and now he's spiralling again for the third time and god knows he might have finally killed himself this time.  God these characters are in a never ending cycle of miscommunication and hurting each other

At this point all I can say is if you don't watch Philza your opinion on Q!Phil means nothing
Sick of seeing people say that Q!Phil is a bad person and taking cc!Phil's obviously ooc moments as 'proof'
'i can't believe q!Phil just laughed at q!Tubbo's death in front of Sunny'
I can. Because it's Philza. Because it's block game. I'm sorry that your heavy rp moment on Tubbo's side was someone playing a video game on Phil's side

Listen— listen to me when i say i want, full-heartedly, for Frubbo to come back.
But, for it to make fucking sense.
Fred, at this point in time, is like a guest star more than a full on love interest to q!Tubbo.
And yes, that coral date which i have my own issues with meant they are on good terms, but not enough for you to ignore the plotholes.
For Fred to have come on Valentines wouldn’t have made sense. For Fred to come back at all right now doesn’t make sense. Not until we address what had happened to the Bear Workers in the first place, and for where he went after the date.
For Fred to come back right now, it would have to cover where the og Fed Workers went, why there was no further communication, and why the Board decided to move spawn in the first place.
We need more actual lore before Frubbo lore me thinks, and until we get it, its just not going to feel right for Fred to pop back up in the storyline and “save” Tubbo.
As of now, unless the federation is directly involved with q!Tubbo’s revival, it won’t feel right.

i always loved the fact that Ghostbur became their own person
He always was treated as a memory, as leftovers, ashes of another person. Something to grieve about, someone to mourn. The person he knew as many things: a great and a terrible leader, a cold, evil or a caring and kind person. The memories of whom they held, yet they never were that person, never even knew them.
And when after going to limbo once he says that he no longer wants to go back to being Wilbur, that he doesn't want to die for Wilbur even though he believed people he loved needed that leader. For the first time he makes a decision for himself, to be himself even though it potentially can dissapoint his friends. He makes a decision not to sacrifice himself. He develops his own personality his own memories
i might be just crazy on the trope of clones/people that should've been a specific person creating their own life
and then Wilbur fucking Soot kills them

Did you guys hear that c!Mumza canonically managed to save the souls of the Triple Ts when the nuke went off? She brought c!Tommy and c!Tubbo to meet c!Ranboo and Michael B in the nether-looking area and c!Jack to the End to meet the remaining Syndicate members. They can travel between the realms at any time ofc.

just my quick two-cents on the ending but i thought some elements were really well done (c!jack’s feelings and bitterness, c!clingyduo getting to fight c!dream, c!sam’s reaction’s to dream’s death, c!punz’ reveal, etc.) but others (specifically the amnesia and kind of tone-deaf sudden sympathetic view of c!dream) were done really poorly. so while i really enjoyed some parts of it, and it’s always going to have that essence of the dream smp that i love so much, the ending (tommy’s last stream specifically) felt really cheap in terms of how it left the characters we’ve come to know so well.
here are some ideas i came up with for other ways i thought could’ve been cool for the ending to follow:
- tubbo and tommy kill dream. punz revives him but ends up turning on him and ultimately teaming with tommy and tubbo again but for real this time (though for his own reasons aside from just power). he doesn’t have to be a good guy, in fact this could’ve set him up to both get c!dream out of the picture and get punz into place as the major antagonist for the next chapter.
- tubbo and tommy kill dream. punz revives him, but this time tubbo and tommy run across the server telling everyone (if not everyone, just c!sam) that dream’s back and sam ends up working together with them to trap dream (and punz?) back in the prison. but just when sam’s ready to resign himself back to his own personal hell that is pandora’s vault, tubbo gets the idea to nuke the prison with the two still inside, where they all go to the nukes and find jack. jack and tommy argue, setting up jack as the current main antagonist for the next chapter as nothing is resolved between the two. and then sure enough, tommy, tubbo, sam, and jack all see the nukes blow up the prison.
- this one i actually thought was going to happen!! tubbo and tommy kill dream. punz revives him, and tommy plans to trap them both at the prison so tubbo can set off the nuke and kill them. the nuke is set to pandora’s vault. jack goes to the nukes, thinking tubbo’s on his side, and ends up targeting aiming the nukes towards tommy’s house/the hotel/bad and skeppy’s mansion. the explosion does reach the prison, but the impact only ends up killing dream and punz. tommy, tubbo, and jack then talk and help rebuilt whatever was caught the blast. if bad’s mansion is caught in the wreckage it’s a good building point for the egg to focus in for the next chapter.

hey quick question. What, in your opinion, was the worst day of c!Tubbo’s life? Metrics here range from changes in behavior, to levels of isolation, to the degree to which it upends his status quo.

i swear to god with the last bit of lore it really feels like they took an entire u turn with the morality of C!Dream. Like not just for abusing c!Tommy but also because he killed C!Vikkstar and C!Lazarbeam. He wasn’t supposed to be sympathetic or we’d have a POV of him. So why now did they do an entire u-turn with how sympathetic he is? Like did CC!Dream go ‘nooo guys i can’t play an abuser now i’ve been called out for being a groomer it’ll make me look worse’

small cw for slight transphobia , exile mention , and ctubbo neg (maybe? idk if it counts as neg if its my memories n experience??)
--
as a ctommy kin i feel jealous of other tommys that like their Tubbo . my Tubbo wasn't a very good person to me or anyone really and he wasnt a better friend either, he'd misgender me then immediately apologize saying he didnt mean it even though he was telling me that i was, "such a girl sometimes" (i was and am Transmasc) . Its just frustrating sometimes becuz i know not all Tubbos are like that but my "dearest friend" was such a prick and im so dependent on him and he's everything to me even if i dislike him . He didn't regret sending me to exile even after i told him what happened . it just hurts sometimes . to all Tommys n Tubbos that like each other, cherish each other for me please ! you all deserve the best . To any Tubbos, I bet you're awesome and 10 times better mine was :-] <3 -Sil0🦜

or equally horrifying, tubbo doesn't understand that arguing shouldn't involve hitting.
And winds up being the aggressor
// abuse
Thanks to someone *eyes @lasnevadaslaborunion* I’m thinking about c!pumpkin duo being c!Tubbo’s idea of a healthily relationship. He learned yelling meant anger and violence and you had to look good or you’re partner wouldn’t love you anymore and you didn’t complain because that’s what little bitches did. He and Ranboo fight and Ranboo yells and Tubbos assumes Ranboos is going to hit him or at the very least kick him out of the house. He doesn’t get why Ranboo is horrified by the idea

I’m so glad to have someone who actually acknowledge C!Dream more than just Tommy’s abuser because to me while that is a part of his character I always feel like just focusing on that and Tommy and dream as a abuser and victim is not a disservice for Dream character, but also Tommy’s character. like Tommy is more than just a victim kind of found it ironic that the people who always use exiles as an example end up kind of accidentally dehumanized Tommy in a way. I got this entire essay in my head about how the fandom is so overprotective of Tommy to the point that they would excuse every single action that he did that even in universe is presented as a bad thing, but that’s a story for another day
I agree wholeheartedly. Tommy apologists like to pretend they're the "good people" when really all they're pushing is the rhetoric that a victim will never be more than their abuse. Everything tommy has ever done is just pointed back to "he was abused." Even if you talk about something as early as L'manberg it'll always be "he was a kid, he went through a lot" To a lot of these people, Tommy is nothing more than his trauma. He's hurt, a wounded animal, he can't do any better. And it's such a disservice to Tommy's character when people infantilize him like that.
I think the discs are a good example of that last point. I remember seeing a post recently explaining away Tommy's unhealthy obsession with the discs saying "it reminds him of the early days" or something. And I can not even BEGIN to dissect how wrong that is. Tommy's dependence on and obsession with the discs is presented as a BAD THING narratively since the beginning. I mean. before Tommy went through anything he was already putting the value of these discs he found above the happiness of Tubbo. He kills Tubbo's pet bee and when he asks for the discs in return, do you know what Tommy does? He burns down Tubbo's house. And it's like, how can you present Tommy's obsession with the discs as a cute normal thing when it's always shown as being a negative aspect of his character. He gets actual character development during the staged disc finale and the actual finale when he's able to finally put Tubbo's life above the discs. And these people, who are supposed to be so well versed in the character, can't seem to grasp that small of a character trait because they haveeee to infantilize Tommy because he's a victim. I would love love love to see your essay btw! I love seeing people's takes on this topic because it's rare people ever talk about it and it's something i'm kinda passionate about. So if you ever jot down your thoughts on here, know i will reblog tf out of it LMAO.

not super polished meta or anything but something i do think is really interesting and kind of a trend with how c!dream sees factions is how...quite consistently, c!dream doesn't judge a faction as umm holistically as one might guess, especially because a common thought in this fandom is that c!dream just hates factions in general by default (and i mean, id say he's not fond of factions and obviously has a distaste for faction conflict, but he's not nearly as immediately going after factions guns blazing the way that i think people can think of him sometimes)--rather, quite consistently, c!dream's perception of a faction at any point in time is a reflection of his perception of its leader.
lmanburg, at the very beginning, he clearly saw as unreasonable, kind of stupid and delusional, but still something to be treated with a degree of caution...which is how he saw c!wilbur, this guy who was making really fucking preposterous claims (what the fuck do you mean new server. like for this guy he might as well have been declaring that this place was a whole new planet while making pretty overt moves towards war if you disagreed with him) but also had gathered quite a following and wasn't going to take no for an answer. l'manchildburg and all that
later on, c!dream sees lmanburg more neutrally and even positively when his relationship with c!wilbur improves. this is most telling when he talks abt lmanburg to c!wilbur at the beginning of pogtopia and during vassal--of course it's up to debate what c!dream's concrete plans were, but i'm pretty solidly of the belief that he wasn't planning to get rid of lmanburg at this point as i outline here. c!wilbur was willing to be reasonable and even peaceable, and so the same applied to the faction he ruled over
c!dream repeatedly expresses that his disagreement with c!schlatt is what causes him to align himself against manberg, and downright says that with c!schlatt at the helm he doesn't believe that peace between their two nations can be maintained. this is a constant, honestly, down to when c!schlatt dies--c!dream never truly thinks well of manberg, and it seems quite obviously to be a direct result of who was in charge
after c!wilbur dies, despite expressing positive sentiments to c!wilbur later on in statements such as "the smartest person on the server" and quoting him during doomsday and the like, c!dream's assessments of him as a leader as he expresses to c!quackity are quite negative. which is interesting, when you consider that part of the angle c!wilbur takes up during vassal is specifically that he'll be ambitious like schlatt the way c!dream explicitly says he felt threatened by in his sales pitch to convince c!dream to blow up lmanburg with him. c!dream wanting lmanburg to be blown up at the same time as its "ruler" (as c!dream clearly did see c!wilbur as the authority over lmanburg) wanted it to be blown up...hm.
c!dream expresses sentiments along the lines of willing to cooperate and coexist with c!tubbo especially after c!tubbo "puts the good of the nation" first instead of choosing to pursue a conflict against c!dream. to c!quackity, c!dream talks about c!tubbo to be fair and reasonable, qualities he evidently values in a ruler
in stark opposition, c!dream's disagreement with mexican lmanburg has everything to do with his perception of c!quackity as a reckless, conflict-seeking (and that's the common thread, really. c!wilbur sought conflict in the revolution and then with his painting himself as chaotic and ambitious and seeking destruction, and c!schlatt was ambitious and murderous in a way that had very clear consequences in terms of starting conflict on the server) ruler with little regard for the consequences of his actions, as he says repeatedly over the course of the mexican lmanburg debates
finally, c!dream explicitly outlines c!tubbo's "failings" as ruler as being the breaking point in terms of green festival + doomsday and specifically says that c!tubbo is willing to let people in the cabinet walk all over him, as well as the fact that c!quackity is more of a president than he is. when we consider c!dream's already very negative assessment of c!quackity as a leader and how c!quackity had pushed a lot of the decisions that really made nlm a threat that was impossible for c!dream to reconcile with (especially with moves such as the butcher army), some of the underlying sentiments behind well the overt villain-isms of c!dream's speech here do seem to come to light.
and for some other moments that aren't quite as Big but still reflect this same idea--c!dream explicitly rejects nlm if it was under c!tommy's rulership but is willing to coexist with c!tubbo as president, both dethronements have a lot to do with c!eret and c!george's actions having negative consequences for the whole faction by compromising a neutral stand (and therefore compromising the quote unquote neutrality of the entire faction and possibly embroiling everyone into conflict), c!dream's willingness to work with the badlands, the difference between the factions that c!dream ignores post-prison versus the one that he attacks (las nevadas, obviously). it's interesting to me how often c!dream seems to view factions as almost being extensions of the will of the person leading them and how his opinion of a faction an his opinion of its leader bounce off of each other, yknow?
(this post is mostly a series of observations and absolutely oversimplified to a certain degree, but yeah 👍)

haii could you give me a summary of c!purpleds characterization ???
oughhh i always struggle w questions like these because for me it has become almost second nature but. i will try my best (≧∀≦ゞ fellow cpurpled enjoyers feel free to chime in with ur own suggestions if u so wish
purpled is selfish. this feels like a pretty obvious aspect of his character but Oh the amount of people i’ve seen get it wrong. he does not feel guilt over his selfishness. he will take and take until there’s no more left to steal, and he will blame the other party for his loss. he’s a survivalist before all else, a businessman before a person, and he’s proud of it. he’s manipulative and cunning and, honestly, a total asshole most of the time. it’s part of his charm
he’s been used. a lot. being used is kind of a key aspect of his character and his behavior. i think it’s important to note though that his experiences are never portrayed in a way where he’s meant to be pitied. his story is more focused on rage, on revenge, on a burning anger that will burn everything in its path. his story is tragic, yes, but he Refuses to let it be a tragedy (he is not consciously making this choice, which i’ll go into later)
he’s VERY prideful. he’s good at a lot of things and he knows it. i think a lot of people see his character type of smug, confident asshole and jump to the conclusion that it’s a front for him to cover up his insecurities but. i cannot stress enough. he is Genuinely Just Like That. he is almost fully incapable of self-doubt. if he ever encounters a situation where he has fucked up he will instantly find a way to shift that blame to others. he’s hot shit, he knows it, and he WILL make it everyone’s problem
something i think is really important is that, when it comes to seeing others, he sees most people at a neutral. he has very few people he strongly likes or dislikes, and is more uninterested and unconcerned with most people. he looks down on them, but not in a negative way, per se. that’s just how purpled sees people. if they can’t provide him with something, they’re unimportant to him. it’s not personal, it’s just fact. quackity is the only person purpled has a true hatred towards, as well as technically tommy, but that was more as a one-sided rivalry, and much, much lesser. it’s worth noting he did NOT hate slime, seeing him as a nuisance at best. he only attacked slime because he knew it’d be the way to hurt quackity the most, he held no real animosity towards him otherwise. ponk, hannah, jack manifold, tubbo, and technically boomer are the only people i’d really classify of being people purpled enjoys being around/sees on the same level as him
i know a lot of these points are somewhat bleak and serious, but he does have a silly side!! he likes pranks and scams. his best friend is his dog, who he regularly talks to as if he was another person. he has a flair for the dramatics and likes showing off, even if doing so is risky, and even if no one but him will see it
this is less of a character analysis but he talks like if you introduced an angry victorian orphan to youtube shorts. he has a very specific cadence of more sophisticated, verbose language mixed with modern-day slang and memes. it’s. very strange. i really can’t begin to properly describe it
there is zero self-awareness in that boy. he cannot see past his anger and spite and realize possible mistakes. 95% of what i’ve mentioned here he is completely unaware of. he can’t see his flaws, he can’t realize his wants, yet he always sees himself as on the right and on top. he is playing 4D chess completely unaware that everyone else is playing checkers, and is prone to unintentionally self-sabotaging himself due to being unable to recognize his true wants. he has 0 self-awareness of any of this. the way i write purpled is to make it Blatantly Obvious to the reader that his mindset and worldview is wrong, but make him completely blind to these points. he should not know things are wrong, but the reader should be able to pick up on it

Here are some of my SBI hybrid(?) headcanons since I have a special love for these kinds of headcanons:
C! Technoblade: A Piglin hybrid with absolute control of his hybrid traits. Basically, he can control his human traits to piglin traits ratio. His original form basically looks like a full Piglin but his preferred form when he was young was a mostly human form with subtle piglin traits. This was because he grew up with Phil and Wilbur(then eventually Tommy) who looked mostly human besides a few hybrid traits. His preferred form when fighting as he earned the title The Blood God was either his full piglin form/his original form or mostly human with very prominent piglin features(like full tusks, piglin ears, bright red eyes, and pink-tinted skin). This is because he's stronger in this form, he has better senses, and his skin is tougher. His casual form is usually most human with pointed ears, tanned skin, smaller tusks than his fighting form, and red or very warm brown eyes.
C! Philza: He mostly just has wings and feathers behind his ears and scattered around his face(especially his cheeks) and body(mostly his hands). However, whenever he's angry or fighting, his hands turn black(with more feathers) and he has sharper nails/claws and his eyes glow gold with black scleras. It makes him look more intimidating and he can use his claws to tear through skin in fights. Also, his vision is naturally very sharp :]
C! Wilbur: I was kinda stuck between making him human, a sea hybrid of some kind, or an avian like Phil, but I decided that an avian would make the most sense since he's biologically Phil's son in canon. Also, just as a side note, only the hybrid type typically gets passed down to the children, meaning that although Phil(and also Kristin) have black/crow wings, Wilbur could have wings from a different species of bird. That being said, I feel like owl wings would fit Wilbur pretty well. I'm still figuring out exactly what species, but his wings are different shades of brown with dark speckles. He has feathers in similar places as Phil but they aren't as visible and he doesn't have claws/can't shift to have claws like Phil can. However, his eyes can change to glow gold with black scleras. It's whenever he's experiencing strong emotions in general like excitement or anger, not just strong negative emotions. I also kinda want to include the detail that little tufts of feathers grow in his hair :>
C! Tommy: For Tommy, I seriously debated with myself if he should be human, an avian, or a demon post-revival. However, after reading The Dreamwalker by Hydre, I have fell in love with the headcanon that Tommy is a shapeshifter :D That way, there's a little bit of all the headcanons I was trying to decide between. So Tommy was born a shapeshifter but his default form is an avian. His wings are red with white tips and speckles of gold throughout them. He has feathers behind his ears but nowhere else unlike Phil and Wilbur. The other forms he really likes are a full blond raccoon form, a raccoon hybrid form, a full bird form(probably a red cardinal or smth) and forms that take the hybrid traits of his friends(like Ranboo's tail, horns, and white/black freckles or Tubbo's goat ears and horns). He subconsciously adds the traits of people he loves to his form and it's his way of showing someone he trusts and cares about them. Although he's a shapeshifter, if he loses or injures a body part, he can not shapeshift to fix it. For example, Dream seriously injured his wings during exile but he can't shift them to fix them. Everytime he shifts away wings, they will come back in the state they were last in and injuries can only heal if they are physically out. He can't shift away scars in his human or avian forms because he got the scars in his human or avian forms and his base/original form is his avian one so scars stay in that form. Also, his other body parts get converted to fit the anatomy of other animals, meaning that his arms shift into wings when he turns into a bird since his arms align with the placement of bird wings better than the wings on his back. Injuries also shift between forms unless the body part is just shifted away(like his avian wings or a tail) instead of converted so if Tommy gets a wound on his arm, it will stay on the corresponding wing when he turns into a bird. He can add or remove clothes to his form but he can only take off clothes that are separate from his actual body and wasn't shifted on just so he can't make an infinite amount of clothes. If he shifts out of clothes from his human form when he turns into an animal, he'll automatically have those clothes back on no matter what and he won't be able to add clothes that he shifted on himself until he takes those off(and technically, clothes he shifts on are stuck on his body since they are an extension/a part of his body, don't think about it too much though). I'm still figuring out more of the logistics of shapeshifting but that's what I have so far and hopefully it makes sense. Also, again, credits to The Dreamwalker by Hydre for the idea and a good amount of the shapeshifter logic :)
Those are my headcanons for SBI's forms! That took longer than expected but it was fun :D
