stream of consciousness notes for book 7 chapter 3
babbling and spoilers ahead
First scene notes
the first room that grim and yuu wake up in is within mickeyā€™s dream. Mickey says he canā€™t use magic, the items that move around in his dream room move on their own
the ā€œmickeyā€ that is with them is when he leaves his body while heā€™s asleep. Grim figures his and yuuā€™s bodies must still be passed out on the floor in diasomnia then
mickey says that after he falls asleep in bed and he leaves his body, when he enters the mirror that hangs above the fireplace in his room, thatā€™s when he gets to this dream room theyā€™re in now. He tried before to enter the mirror while awake but it didnā€™t work
after mickey wakes up and disappears, a bunch of black gooey stuff shows up and starts attacking grim and yuu. Silver swoops in and calls it ā€œDarknessā€ (闇). He says it if touches you, you will be put into an even deeper sleep
silverā€™s UM notes
Can only be activated when he is asleep AND when he realizes that he is in a dream
He is able to ā€œcrossā€ between dreams. He calls the sky-like space that he enters when moving from one dream to another the ā€œdream corridor/corridor of dreamsā€
If youā€™re touching him when he crosses dreams, youā€™ll be able to cross with him
He cannot choose the person whose dream he enters, but it is easy for him/typical to cross over into the dreams of people heā€™s close with. So he is surprised he went into mickeyā€™s dream that one time.
He can tell who is the dreamer because he sees a bird that emits rainbow colored light flying around them. Grim and yuu couldnā€™t see it flying around sebek, so it seems only silver can see it
He cannot go into peopleā€™s minds, per se. He describes it as ā€œwhat one sees within oneā€™s heart, the world of imagination borne from oneā€™s memories and desiresā€
He still doesnā€™t fully comprehend his UM nor all the special characteristics of dreams
Often, when he wakes up, he canā€™t remember what happened in the dream
Mal notes
The energy field is slowly and gradually entombing a wider and wider radius around sageā€™s island. S.t.y.x. fears that it will eventually swallow the whole world
Normally, you could just wait for an overblotterā€™s magic to run out and then their UM would go away, but some fae are able to draw in magic energy from nature around them. Mal seems to be doing this, so his magic reserves are basically limitless
s.t.y.x with the help from BV tried breaking through the energy field but neither magic or physical attacks are getting through. When the fae or humans got to close to it, they would get dragged in by the thorns and trapped on the island
time on sageā€™s island has stopped at 21:18
the mal seen in idia and sebekā€™s dreams is the real mal. He is observing them and making sure they stay asleep/continue dreaming happy dreams
every living thing (well not plants I assume) on sageā€™s island is trapped in sleep. All the students, the towns people, the RSA students, the animals, the fish, the insects. Ortho is the only one on the island who is awake
Mr. Shroud feels dƩjƠ vu when seeing the island covered in thorns. He later realizes its because the sight bares a striking resemblance to the legends of the thorn fairy, of which illustrations remain in old literature
Mrs. Shroud adds that it's an ancient form of magic "area domination/domain control" (領域ę”Æ配) where you "can change/alter everything within the domain at will"
end scene notes
when mal tries to put them into a deeper sleep, silver sees an auroral light. It seems to be the light from the ring his father gave him. Silver asks for his fatherā€™s help and they do end up in liliaā€™s dream like he wanted (possibly the ringā€™s doing?)
silver recognizes the forest and the smell of the wind
sebek can understand what the three goon-looking creatures are saying. The creatures think they are ā€œThe Iron Onesā€? ļ¼ˆé‰„恮者ļ¼‰ sebek seems to know that phrase, as he says no theyā€™re not
silver reacts in surprise when one of the creatures says something right before lilia appears. Maybe silver can also understand them?
lilia tells them ā€œsilence, humansā€. He speaks threateningly.
the rainbow bird flies around lilia, so its his dream

23, 27, 29 and 14 (if i can tweak it a bit: do you have A Momentā„¢ for any pair that just lives in your head rent free and you will probably never get over it?)
23. What immediately comes to your mind when you think of Jin?
how funny he is but also how much he does for the rest of bts - heā€™s really great older brother for them and I know what Iā€™m saying (oldest siblings unite)
especially when it comes to public situations when theyā€™re nervous he always makes fun of himself to make others feel better HE IS SO AMAZING šŸ’›
27. What immediately comes to your mind when you think of Jimin?
how supportive he is! also the way he makes sure everyone is happy and taken care of - I could never and he makes it look so effortless
29. What immediately comes to your mind when you think of Jungkook?
answered
14. Your favorite ships/interactions?
I actually have special tags for my fave bts friendships and itā€™s going to be long answer
yoonjin aka #best duo
anytime theyā€™re paired together in anything makes me so unbelievably happy you have no idea! like when yoongi chose Epiphany as his fave song during muster? TEARS when they are cooking or fishing together TEARS! and when they had That Talk during In The Soup about being super close I just cried
but the moment that actually made them my favourite friendship was when they were driving together in one season of bv I think? and Jin wanted to put phone in the middle and Yoongi said that it wonā€™t workā€¦ and phone started to go down BUT YOONGI JUST CAUGHT IT and Jin started to laugh and that was it - I knew it then šŸ’› itā€™s like perfect way to describe their friendship
jinkook aka #chaotic duo
which actually reminds me a lot of my own sibling relationship... also i love how silly jin becomes with jk but at the same time he's always taking care of him (like when jk was hurt and had to sit down during concerts and then jin was being funny when wheeling him around) and i also loooove when they hug and there was this one gifset with them hugging and jk smiling and caption was something like his jin hyung smile or something and now i can't unsee it and its absoultely vital to my well being GIVE ME HUGGING JINKOOK
also 2seok aka #2seok world domination confirmed which I donā€™t think I have to expand on and hopekook aka my #koobi that makes my heart warm

Several cultures in Asia regard flowers as an important part of their heritage. They are an essential part of celebrations, mourning as well as decoration. The floriculture industry in Asia is thriving because of the increased importance of flowers for weddings, offerings in religious places, as well as home and commercial decorations. The company has set ambitious sustainability goals, including water conservation, renewable energy use, and reducing carbon emissions. These initiatives resonate with environmentally conscious consumers and investors, enhancing the company's reputation and long-term viability.

AB InBev's strategic positioning in these segments has enabled it to capitalize on this trend. The company's focus on quality and innovation ensures that it remains competitive in a rapidly evolving market.

Analysts project continued growth in the company's share price, supported by its strong fundamentals and proactive approach to market changes. As the company continues to innovate and expand, it is likely to attract further investment interest.
Conclusion Anheuser-Busch InBev's skyrocketing share price is a testament to its strategic acumen, financial strength, and commitment to innovation and sustainability. The company's ability to navigate market dynamics, expand its global footprint, and diversify its product offerings has positioned it as a leader in the beverage industry. For investors, AB InBev represents a compelling opportunity, backed by a solid track record and a promising outlook for future growth.

Global Intraocular Lens Market Is Estimated To Witness High Growth Owing To Technological Advancements and Increasing Prevalence of Cataract
The global Intraocular Lens Market is estimated to be valued at US$ 5,076.1 million in 2022 and is expected to exhibit a CAGR of 7.2% over the forecast period 2022-2030, as highlighted in a new report published by Coherent Market Insights.
A) Market Overview:
Intraocular lenses (IOLs) are artificial lenses that are implanted in the eye during cataract surgery to replace the natural cloudy lens. They help restore clear vision and improve the quality of life for individuals with cataracts. IOLs can also be used for refractive lens exchange procedures to correct vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
IOLs are available in different types, including monofocal IOLs, multifocal IOLs, toric IOLs, and accommodative IOLs. The choice of IOL depends on the specific needs of the patient and the surgeon's recommendation. The demand for IOLs is increasing due to the growing aging population, rising prevalence of cataract, and advancements in surgical techniques.
B) Market Dynamics:
1. Driver: Increasing Prevalence of Cataract
Cataract is one of the leading causes of visual impairment and blindness globally. According to the World Health Organization, cataract is responsible for 51% of the world's blindness, affecting approximately 65 million people. The prevalence of cataract is expected to rise with the aging population, as cataracts primarily affect older individuals. This increasing prevalence of cataract is driving the demand for intraocular lenses.
2. Driver: Technological Advancements in Intraocular Lens
Advancements in technology have resulted in the development of innovative intraocular lenses that offer improved visual outcomes and reduced complications. For instance, the introduction of multifocal and accommodating IOLs allows patients to achieve good vision at different distances without the need for glasses. Additionally, the use of advanced materials and manufacturing techniques has made IOLs more durable and biocompatible. These technological advancements are attracting more patients and driving market growth.
C) SWOT Analysis:
- Strengths:
1. Technological advancements in IOLs
2. Increasing prevalence of cataract
- Weaknesses:
1. High cost of IOLs
2. Lack of awareness about IOL options among patients
- Opportunities:
1. Untapped potential in emerging markets
2. Growing demand for premium IOLs
- Threats:
1. Competitive landscape with a presence of established players
2. Reimbursement challenges in some regions
D) Key Takeaways:
The Global Intraocular Lens Market is expected to witness high growth, exhibiting a CAGR of 7.2% over the forecast period, due to increasing prevalence of cataract and technological advancements in IOLs.
Regional analysis indicates that North America is the fastest-growing and dominating region in the Intraocular Lens Market, followed by Europe and Asia Pacific. The presence of a well-established healthcare infrastructure and the adoption of advanced surgical techniques contribute to the growth of the market in these regions.
Key players operating in the global Intraocular Lens Market are Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, Johnson & Johnson, Staar Surgical Company, Carl Zeiss Meditec, HOYA Corporation, Lenstec, Inc., Ophtec BV, Rayner Intraocular Lenses Limited, and HumanOptics AG. These companies focus on product innovation, strategic collaborations, and mergers and acquisitions to strengthen their market position.
In conclusion, the global Intraocular Lens Market is poised for significant growth in the coming years, driven by the increasing prevalence of cataract and technological advancements in IOLs. The market offers lucrative opportunities for key players to expand their product portfolio and tap into emerging markets. However, challenges such as high costs and reimbursement issues need to be addressed to ensure widespread adoption of IOLs.

So what exactly is happening in the Batman vs. Superman movie that suddenly Bruce Wayne is the top of the couple?
While itā€™s not unheard of in SuperBat fanfictions for Bruce to be the top and Clark the bottom itā€™s certainly not very common.
But with BvS itā€™s fucking everywhere? So WHY? All I know about that movie is that they have beef and fight and maybe Bruce kills Clark, but also he doesnā€™t and then he buys Clark the Kent Farm but Clark still dies I think?
Is it the killing and fighting? Does that make him the top?

Imagine if we got a movie about Cerci throwing Diana into Batman's mind through her mastery of magic.
Cerci would be treated like a unpredictable force of nature. She dominates her enemies or breaks them apart overtime.
Wonder Woman never having any good events and big game changing storylines just means WonderBat can have endless potential to make Wonder Woman's rogues gallery much more fleshed out than ever.
She'd have to watch Batman's 20 years in Gotham that was mentioned in BVS.
Watch as someone she's grown to respect and admire in her own special way, breakdown over two decades.
I'd just really love to see a villain like Talia Al Ghul be shook when finding out that Wonder Woman is super protective of Bruce. Picking up immediately that she's staking her claim to Bruce.
Diana does strike me as the kind of girl that would say "He's Mine. Hands Off." when girls start hitting on Bruce Wayne and she's feeling jealous, drunk & possessive in the most delightful of ways.
Maybe it's the mix of red wine & the way Bruce can't help but stare at her with such intense desire in his beautiful eyes. More than a dozen times she felt him undressing her with his eyes. Shamelessly ogling her huge behind like a man starved his entire life.
Or.. maybe it's how smitten she is with the idea of Diana Prince having a chokehold on Bruce Wayne that even The Batman can't hold a candle to.
Her compassionate devotion to the world's peaceful future CAN extend to specific places... or specific people after all.
Bruce Wayne belongs to Diana Prince & The Batman does not have Her Permission to be the end of him.
His life belongs to Her.

ALFRED'S DREAMS INCLUDE WONDERBAT BABIES = DEFINITELY Canon
She'll make him honest. I mean she does have The Lasso Of Truth, though she won't need it. Unless it's for foreplay & teasing.

BvS and ZSJL imply Lois was pregnant when she died at the batcave in a future timeline, giving an intense grief to Clark that made him unable to resist to the Anti-Life equation and then he became a slave of Darkseid.
(The Anti-Life equation was a transcendental mathematical formula originally said to allow those who knew it to dominate the will of any sentient race; this is the ultimate goal ofĀ Darkseid).
Tumblr media
BvS is on the board for Stranger Things 4 and if the theory of "Will Byers being the Superman that landed on Mike's doorstep" is correct, then Mike "dying" after Will learns that his feelings are reciprocated would make him more susceptible to Henry's plans of controlling him.
Will even said it: "without heart, we fall apart".
In the films, Lois was the key to Superman's heart because she was his world.
Tumblr media
In Stranger Things, Mike is the key to Will because he's his heart and he always will be.

Breaking my silence: ISFJ Jin v. INTP ? ENTP? Jin
Where do people see Si dom in Seokjin, the man who forgets all the lyrics and says he forgets the past as it happens? And ignore that he is a whole-ass nerd with an internet, video-game and fantasy-world addiction? The man who tried to get BTS to play a strategy card game on their break, that one?
While overshadowed by focused INTJ Yoongi and certified genius Namjoon, Seokjin has an intellectual confidence that clearly comes through when he seeks to explain anything. Compare with Fi aux Taehyung who often is at a loss to explain his very strongly and intuitively held beliefs, or uses a mystical explanation (his angel).
Jin is easily one of the quick-witted members of BTS, something that an inf Ne function would find incredibly hard to do. Supported with his Ti, this makes him a natural host and one of the few members to actually hold their own on variety shows, along with Yoongi. Compare with J-hope, an actual SJ type whose incredible shine is dulled in situations requiring logical problem-solving, quizzing, extempore conversation etc.
Being in Sensor-preferring environments leaves him and his Ti at a perpetual disadvantage, devoid of food, and he comes alive during Run BTS because finally! Water! I'll point out that not only did Seokjin continue attending college while an idol, he also took on classes he didn't need to (like law and philosophy). That's a curious person, just not the kind of curiosity that works well when you dance and sing for a living.
I think it's pretty common for caretaking functions to be expected and to deliver it in some way, whether or not it's your 'type' - most women and a fair number of men have faced this expectation; but to dredge up Ne and Ti from tert or inferior functions in a sustained way seems rather implausible. And moreover, to enjoy it in a non-stressful manner?
I also see Seokjin as rather the Ne-led rule-bending maverick who helps the team take a step forward (e.g. him breaking the ice on Knowing Brothers; his patented hand-kiss; taking it up with staff when things aren't going well) than the SiFe harmony-driven one who keeps the peace (when has Jin ever been the 'good cop' or the 'bad cop' of BTS and not instead the ever-so-slightly irresponsible one?)
I don't see the point of an ISFJ analyses for Jin that doesn't touch on what his strengths are instead of focusing on 'he has habits'. Of course he does, he still has an Si inf. that he uses to mainly complain about room temperature...
Also, I buck the grain in thinking he's Fe dominant or aux. He is emotionally spare compared to Feelers in the group like Jimin, Jhope, Tae or even RM. While he seems to enjoy conversational stimulation, he prefers to recharge outside of the group or on his own. Think of BV Malta where he set out on his own to have an 'adventure' and talk to strangers, while Jimin had heart-to-heart with everyone in the group. 9/10 Jin would prefer to make an irreverent joke than be the one playing counsellor. He just happens to have skills in that direction should he choose to use them. (Developed Fe)
Concluding remarks: Just as I was writing this up, I saw Jin's little Proof of Inspiration video. It's perfect to illustrate Jin's lesser Fe orientation - he's got it, but it's not an overflowing need to connect. Taehyung's aux Fi is all over his Proof - his need to assert his true values.
Anyway, I like to end these lil diatribes with an openness to being wrong. Ne does NOT like absolutes, neither does Libra lol. Vive la Ne!
How am I getting so damn serious about a pseudoscience? But I know I can't sleep till I get all of this reasoning down and perfect.
Time to shut down on this side of Asia.
Lemme go collect my check from JinHit for defending him from allegations of boringness lol

March 2021 Roundup
Reading
Benevolence by Julie Janson - One of those books that caught my eye at the library (Iā€™m a sucker for the ā€œtop picksā€ shelf) and Iā€™m glad I picked up. The story of Muraging, given over in 1813 to the Parramatta Native School, but always trying to find a way back to her family and culture in the brutal early days of colonisation - resilient in the face of so much hardship. Janson is a Burruberongal woman of the Durag Aboriginal Nation, and Muraging is based on her great-great grandmother and Durag oral histories. An engrossing but often difficult read, about a period of history not often told from this perspective.
One Day by David Nicholls - A book that has been sitting on my bookshelf for so long I donā€™t even remember buying it. I vaguely recall seeing the movie adaptation on a plane once so must have enjoyed it, but canā€™t say I would recommend this book. Depicting St Swithinā€™s Day every year in the lives of two absolute character cliches, from one night stand, to friendship, romance and marriage. The concept is neat and the writing has wit, but I just couldnā€™t bring myself to care about Dex (insufferable twat) and Emma (not like other girls) or their love story. Okay, itā€™s not that bad. It kind of grew on me by the end.
Watching
Superman and Lois (episodes 1-5) - Iā€™ve had reservations about this show because of this but am giving it a shot. I have not followed the Arrowverse/Crisis but a friend did her best to explain it to me, although honestly I found it this show works just as well as a standalone. The premise is simple - Lois and Clark return to Smallville with their twin sons for teen superhero angst part two. To be honest, it feels so much like a Smallville revival that...I kind of wish it was? Ā
Tyler Hoechlin makes a good Clark, but that padded Superman suit is an embarrassment - get rid of those fake muscles and show us some super collarbones! Elizabeth Tulloch is growing on me as Lois - sheā€™s very...subdued, but imo lacking that spark Kidder, Hatcher, and Durance had. Honestly, subdued it how I would describe the show overall. Also the colour palette is sooo drab because gritty realism I guess.
I enjoy the family drama aspect of it, although I wish one of the kids was a girl. I mean, I understand why theyā€™re twin boys - the son becomes the father and the father the son and all that - complete with both sons being named after both of Clarkā€™s fathers (is there a name for the trope of the heroā€™s kids being named after his dead family/mentors as if the mother had no input??). The Captain Luthor/Morgan Edge plots are still in the setup stage so hard to comment on them.Ā
I sound harsh, I donā€™t dislike the show overall (and thereā€™s some really good elements there). Weā€™ll see, I guess.
Man of Steel/Batman v Superman/Zack Snyderā€™s Justice League - Iā€™ve never really been a huge fan of the Snyderverse, and have been trying my best to avoid the Discourse about the Snyder cut over the past few years (from both sides). I have however been following what Ray Fisher has had to say, and canā€™t deny my interest was piqued by the idea that there was an entirely different film out there that did right by its characters. So I went back and revisited MoS/BvS before embarking on JL to give the franchise another shot.
While I still donā€™t really vibe with Snyderā€™s aesthetic (itā€™s just a bit bleak and muddy for me) I think these films are actually better when viewed together as one long story. I can appreciate that he made an effort to step away from the Donner nostalgia, and tell this epic modern myth of gods among men, and can enjoy it for what it is. The Snyder cut was entertaining enough, and I quite enjoyed aspects of it - Cyborg is indeed the heart of the film (but I honestly wish it had been explored in his own movie), and Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the Flash break up the dreary tone.
It was nice to see the Amazons again (and I loved ā€œAmazonā€™s, show your fearā€/ā€œwe have no fearā€). I like this take on Clark and Lois, even if most of the relationship happens offscreen, and thereā€™s certainly more in the Snyder cut - even if I wish there was greater depth to Clarkā€™s arc in particular, less of the god and more of the man.
I did however notice a pattern in these films in that I was interested/compelled by the first world building/character half, and having my eyes glaze over in the endless action cgi-fest of the second half (I have this issue with Marvel too). And the Snyder cut is indeed endless - it rivals Return of the King for number of endings but is much less cohesive, like Snyder was throwing everything at the wall since this might be his last chance. Thereā€™s a nice montage at the end with a bit of hope, and I was thinking well this is a nice uplifting note to end on, thank you! But nope, twenty more minutes of grimdark prophecising (in isolation, an interesting scene, but felt so out of place to show the team torn apart again immediately after weā€™ve just seen them come back together).
I also lolā€™d at David Thewlis getting a front credit for what amounted to his cgi face behind a massive helmet. Collect that paycheck, my man!
Coming 2 America - I watched the original as a teenager more times than I can count, truly iconic. Look, I dislike the sequel/reboot/remake merry go round when it dominates the scene, but to be honest I am a sucker for a sequel thatā€™s lovingly made and really just an excuse to get the band back together and have fun. Worth it for the costumes and dance sequences alone (especially the En Vogue/Salt n Pepper/Gladys Knight mashup), but I really enjoyed this overall. Thereā€™s nothing groundbreaking and it doesnā€™t try to be. Was it necessary? No. But did I enjoy it? Absolutely.
Actually, scratch that. The costumes and hair are absolutely necessary.
The Prom (dir. Ryan Murphy) - Now I love a movie musical and this was...fine. Itā€™s sweet and I enjoyed Meryl Streep doing her best Patti Lupone, and Nicole Kidman clearly having fun (even if she canā€™t Fosse to save her life) although I canā€™t say I found any of the songs memorable. James Corden, however, is pure cringe for reasons outlined here. But overall itā€™s light and fluffy, and not a terrible way to spend two hours of your life.
Superstore (seasons 1-6) - Iā€™ve been binging on this for a while, and itā€™s a fun little show about the employees of a big box store - itā€™s nice to see America Ferrera back on screen (with producer credit). A great, diverse cast, but MVPs for me are Lauren Ash as Dina (you may recognise her voice as Scorpia from She-Ra), and Kaliko Kauahi as Sandra. While it did touch on some real-world issues - corporation malfeasance, unionisation, etc - ultimately itā€™s lighthearted and pleasant, especially the series finale that just goes full happy ending with a nice break from grim reality.
Allen v Farrow (dir. Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering) - Iā€™ve never watched a Woody Allen film, and the clips Iā€™ve seen of Woody Allen films havenā€™t changed my mind on this point. But what struck me seeing the clips of Manhattan in this documentary is just how young Muriel Hemingway was - this is not the Hollywood standard 22 year old playing 17 (which is problematic in other ways) but an actual teenager with a baby face and childlike voice, in bed with a 40+ year old man and I am baffled that this film is so highly regarded - if nothing else itā€™s right up there on the screen.
But of course there is so much else, which makes this documentary hard to watch at times. To those who have followed these events thereā€™s not much new here, but it does an excellent job of compiling the sources together and giving a timeline of events, as well as refuting many of the pro-Allen arguments, and giving Dylan a chance to speak for herself. Thereā€™s also a companion podcast which is worth a listen for added perspective.
Writing
I actually finished something, finally! Posted Debrief, a Smallville one-shot (3920 words). 1670 words done on my other Smallville wip.
Posted chapter 41 of Turn Your Face to the Sun (1865 words). Now that the Obi-Wan show is actually happening, I need to get this finished before it all becomes moot.
Total: 7455 words this month, making 23,962 for the year.

ok so i donā€™t know if itā€™s because iā€™m sick and I didnā€™t have any energy to do anything besides sit around watching TV for four hours. But I actually liked that movie pretty well. However, if youā€™re watching it just stop at the 3:40 or whenever trenchcoat batman shows up because that epilogue is boring as hell and has too much joker and just exists just to tease injustice
but anyway
movie review under cut. with spoilers
I think vic was my favorite character in it and he really stood out especially the tags I Put on the gif i just reblogged of him ok but can we talk about how poetique is is that victor acknowledging he is not broken and having the mental image of, himself go from pre-accident to how he is now is what saves the world?,Ā
And also Arthur is like rough around the edges and stuff but so empathetic to Victor? Possibly the only one who is really trying to understand what heā€™s going through
they did overhype superman a bit but he didnā€™t dominate the screen time so it was okay
I definitely feel like it didnā€™t need to be a whole four hours. Some scenes probably could have been cut out, especially some Steppenwolf scenes -- we donā€™t need a play by play of exactly whatā€™s going on with the bad guys -- and some superman/lois scenes -- no offence, I did genuinely like them in Man of Steel (I really like the idea of Lois tracking him down and finding out he has powers before he is superman or before he meets her as clark kent using her leet journalist skills and their interactions were pure) but I donā€™t feel like they added much to this movie in particular.
I feel like it was kind of a waste to tease martian manhunter and not do anything with him. Like he gives Lois a pep talk.
bruce was actually ok here. whatever lesson he learned in BvS seems to have stuck (though he overcompensated in some ways -- Look Iā€™m not going by reason this time Iā€™m going by faith! It doesnā€™t have to be all or nothing my man also you werenā€™t going by reason earlier)
I feel like Flash filled the role of relatable guy/person to show the audience how high the stakes are pretty well. He was allowed to be more freaked out than the other characters and you could definitely feel it when he got shot while trying to build up the energy for Victor to fuse with Unity. and then he was like holy crap so everyone else is dead (everyone else died because they were closer to the unity and itā€™s funcition is to purge all life on earth) and iā€™m the only one who can do anything? anyway they undied because when he was building up speed again he went back in time, which they did show was possible earlier by having it happen slightly when they were resing superman
anyway. so overall a good movie, definitely could have been less than 4 hours and definitely didnā€™t need the injustice tease at the end. I mean come on! If youā€™re teasing injustice at least use likeable characters in it! like not the joker!
