#I enjoy Bruce being a bottom is a very Universal thing in the DC fandom as far as I know

So what exactly is happening in the Batman vs. Superman movie that suddenly Bruce Wayne is the top of the couple?
While it’s not unheard of in SuperBat fanfictions for Bruce to be the top and Clark the bottom it’s certainly not very common.
But with BvS it’s fucking everywhere? So WHY? All I know about that movie is that they have beef and fight and maybe Bruce kills Clark, but also he doesn’t and then he buys Clark the Kent Farm but Clark still dies I think?
Is it the killing and fighting? Does that make him the top?

6. Has fandom ever made you enjoy a pairing you previously hated?
It's VERY rare for me to hate a ship from the start, since I usually remain neutral to those ships I don't like at once and I tend to stay neutral throughout. Fandom HAS made me hate ships I originally liked, though.
9. Most disliked character(s)? Why?
At the moment, it would be the way Bruce Wayne/Batman is currently being written. As he is now, he's stale with no room for growth due to the lack of acknowledgment of the consequences of in universe actions, because he goes back to a blank slate every few issues as if nothing happened. Also I'm just TIRED of him being treated as the key to the universe. He's not. Shut up about Bruce already!!!
14. Unpopular opinion about your fandom?
Comics fandom is RIDICULOUS because you can't win. On one hand you have people who are fans without having EVER touched anything of the source material, and refuse to do so because "fanon is better" -- even though they have no idea of what's actually going on in canon that doesn't come in the form of unsourced comic panels on tumblr, essay posts with personal interpretations of canon events, etc.
On the other hand, you have the "no fun allowed!" fans that read as many comics as they possibly can while going a lil nuts (because that's just what happens when you expose yourself to DC for too long), and they think they have the higher ground over the rest and their takes are the only right ones. Everyone who likes fanon is dumb according to them even though fanon has a lot of interesting things going on.
But honestly reading too many comics is a bit of a self own, as much as saying you like a thing without ever interacting with the thing is also a self own.
Also, maybe fandom adopting the terms top/bottom was a mistake.
19. What is the one thing you hate most about your fandom?
That too many people are obsessed with trying to prove their fave is the only valid character ever and the rest are demons. Honey, they are all deeply unhinged and they all suck but they also all rock. My fave isn't even all that valid. And that's okay.

Let's Trade Canons!
Marvel, DC, Dr. Who, Star Trek Here's how you can reach me! RPR: CLICK THE LINK! Discord: krepta#5707 Email: [email protected]
Hey there! I'm looking for some canons to fill in some of my more fandom-oriented plots. You would be roleplaying them with some OCs, and I can offer some canons in return, either in the same plot, or we can do another, different roleplay on the side as long as both are responded to equally. Some things to note first: I'm Not Looking For: ★ Smut. Romance is fine if it's a relationship that forms naturally and without forcing it between the characters, but you shouldn't go in necessarily expecting this to happen. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. It all depends on character chemistry. But when it comes to my canons, I will always fade to black. I'm a little more comfortable writing smut where OCs are concerned, but it's not my preference. I couldn't tell you why it bothers me more with OCs. It just does. For these plots, my goals are primarily adventure and character growth. ★ One sided writing. I get that OCs can sometimes be seen as the second class citizens of the roleplaying world, but I put a lot of effort and care into crafting mine, and I'll probably be pretty insulted if you start ignoring them in favor of solely interacting with the canons. I would never do this to you, so don't do it to me. ★ Not looking to play any canons outside of the ones that I will list below. It's not that I don't love other canons-- I'd love to be able to play a good Superman or Xavier, but we just don't click enough, and any writing I'd give you with them would be strained and just... not the character. The characters I've listed I feel comfortable enough with to feel like I'd write them well. Please also note that if you're looking for a specific version of that character that's not listed, it probably isn't going to work either, mostly because I may not know the materials. That being said, I'm very flexible with crossovers. ★ Players under 18 years of age. While I'm not looking for smut, that doesn't mean there won't be mature themes involved. Beyond that, I'm 28 now and I just enjoy playing with people closer to my own age. Please mention your age when you contact me. I may also ask you for a sample post to see if we're compatible-- doesn't have to be long or fancy, from the character you're playing, or even new. Most of my characters have samples on their pages, but feel free to ask me for one if you can't find any. These are the OCs you'll likely be playing with! Most of them have plots for at least one of the canons listed. You can find their list of plots on the bottom of their Introduction pages, but I'll be happy to link you when you contact me as well.
KREPTA DRACONIS VIRO SERUT GREM & CASPER WILLIAMS
Below are the canons that I'm looking for. If I'm picky about the version, then there'll be a note next to them, but most of them I'm not. Marvel Comics: Ironfist (Danny Rand or Orson), Doctor Strange, Black Panther (MCU), Deadpool, Gambit, Thor Odinson, Iron Man, Xavier, Wolverine DC Comics: Martian Manhunter, Swamp Thing, Raven (Animated), Captain Marvel, John Constantine, Lois Lane Star Trek: Spock, Sarek, Bones Other: The Shadow, Elfquest Canons, Plo Koon (Star Wars), Qui Gon (Star Wars), Obi Wan (Star Wars) And now for the part I'm sure you're impatient for-- the canons. A couple of them have character sheets that I've linked if they're finished, but some also have unfinished ones. Feel free to ask about them if you're interested, but know that they're probably very much under construction. Some characters work better as stand alone characters than others. SUPERHERO FANDOMS (DC, Marvel, Dark Horse) Bruce Wanye- Batman (The Animated Series) Daniel Cassidy - Blue Devil (Swamp Thing TV Series) Old Lace (Runaways) Nick Fury (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Hellboy (Cinematic Universe/Comics Blend) Don Hall - Dove (JL Animated Universe) Jessica Jones (Marvel TV Series) STAR TREK *Please note that I'm most familiar with the Original Series and Discovery, and the eras and books associated. I've watched the others spottily or it's been a very long time, so my lore may not be 100% up to speed. I may need some help here or you'll just have to be okay with me winging it. Christopher Pike Jim Kirk Bones (Very, very much a maybe. I don't have ask keen of a grasp on his character and I'm rusty) DOCTOR WHO *I have not watched the Classic Whos. I just couldn't get into them. So any events that need to be remembered from that time frame, I probably won't. I also didn't sit through most of Capaldi's run, sorry. I know the gist of those events though. Like Star Trek, you'll have to remind me of things, or let me gloss it over. 13th Doctor 11th Doctor 10th Doctor ★★ I'm also game for any of the other plots listed on my character's pages, including the ones for your Original Characters. I've just had an itch lately to play out some of my canon centered stories.★★
