#I've been TRYING hard okay#I've been trying to buy better clothes from smaller shops#but when they arrive it turns out they're cheap polyester drop ship crap#I've been trying to get more involved in the queer community and be more of a person#but the online zoom meetings were uncomfortable#the discord transmasc voice class went badly because I didn't understand how to use the bot#I booked a queer film night for me and my partner but it turned out to be creepy and churchy so we dropped out#I've signed up to steward pride we'll see how that goes#I went to a protest but it rained a lot so I only stayed for half#I've been trying to use amazon less but every time I go around my small local stores they don't have any of the stuff I'm looking for#I'm trying to be more myself and be more brave but my binders don't fit and I can't use a sewing machine#and every time I speak to a stranger or a colleague my voice goes up#I'm trying to work out more and eat less but I'm so tired#I'm trying to boycott and buy slave-free and say no to Ai and to genocide and to tiktok and disney and nestle and spotify#Telling myself I have food at home and to stop scrolling reddit and got get more sleep and to call my friends#All this therapy all these good choices all this work and so little to show for it some days#I am going back to fucking bed

tomorrow is my first day back to work and I'm a lil nervous
I haven't been able to get anything written for here bc I've been trying to get a couple other things written (updating my Bill Cipher redemption fic and starting a Gyutaro x reader x Daki because I make poor life choices)
but I'm on light duty for a month, basically just sitting at the register checking people out, unable to do any stocking or anything bc I'm not allowed to lift anything over 15 pounds so I can't lift totes, bend much, or reach much, so I'm allowed to bring something to do in between customers... maybe I'll get some writing done? I feel as if I'll be slacking off bc that's how my brain works
but you know what, I kill myself for that store normally, I don't work full time simply because I can't afford medical insurance if I did, but even working only part time I give my all while I'm there, I'm not someone who slacks off. so if I'm healthfully and approvedly permitted to slack off and take it easy for a month, I guess I'll take it (... plus, I mean, I'll still be working, just light duty, it's not like I'll show up and get paid to do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, I'm still gonna be ringing out customers)
ANYWAY MY POINT IS-
get those last requests in! after I get home from work tomorrow, I'll be closing the askbox and won't open it back up till this batch is finished and I swear I mean that this time 😂

Now that I have more of my favorite perfume, I can use some of my dwindling former supply (look at the difference in levels between these two pictures. 😅) to make violet-scented body powder for springtime! I did this a few years ago and it was LOVELY, so I'm so excited to have some again!

Talking today with some family friends about phones tracking our interests to better market to us and i was thinking... id say that i dont really fall for targeted ads, but admitting "my sole priority in life is enstars" is kinda sad. Anyway. All this to say i got 2 ads back to back of that new anime boy nsfw game, and the hbo show the idol. I know why i got these ads, these would make sense with my interests, like yeah i do talk about anime boys and idols a lot. Um. But only about these very specific ones and i am not interested in branching out...

u guys wanna know something embarrassing. i've been vegetarian for like 4 or 5 years, right? i don't miss most meat. i've found solid substitutes for just about everything i do miss. except for two things: pepperoni and... hot dogs. holy fucking shit i miss hot dogs. all vegan hot dogs suck. they're mushy and taste like weird bread. i want a good hot dog with that crunchy casing. i miss them so fucking bad. i have no plans to eat meat again, but if i did, first thing i would eat would be an all beef hot dog. one that pops in your mouth. slathered in ketchup and onions. FUCK i miss them
