Supernova, Kon's new hero name since Jon took over the Superboy name now, wasn't expecting to be called out to... especially in the sky... by another floating/flying person and-

They were cute as heck.

Glowing green eyes, and white hair, a bit shorter than him. He was floating in the air with a soft glow around himself as well.

And he was holding a white haired, very similar looking toddler in his arms, only the toddler had longer hair that was tied in pigtails. And the toddler was staring at Kon with large, almost sparkling eyes.

The young man, around Kon's age if he guessed, smiled and floated a bit closer, his face friendly and warm. When the young man stopped he kindly asked "Hey, would it be any trouble for you to autograph something for my daughter? She's a huge fan!"

movie sonadow would be so l umity-coded…and i say this bc their dynamic is similar to the games but with a different and tender perspective: they both empathize deeply with each other now, and this shadow is not as reticent or closed off bc of that. that being said: movie!sonic would ABSOLUTELY 'YOU'RE the sweet potato!' the hell out of shadow

What's your thought of The Last Amalgamate finale part by VyletBunni in general?

I thought it was sweet. It's nice to see people in fandom put so much effort into making projects like this; I have nothing but respect for the creator for putting so much effort into creating a multi-part fan animation, especially one that was packed full of love for the Undertale fan game fandom (while I haven't played it yet, I did recognize some of the TS!Underswap characters that were in there).

There were a few things that made me go "Hm, I don't quite agree with this characterization" or "I would tweak this a bit," but there wasn't anything egregious. I especially like that this animation showed that Ceroba's love for Kanako far outweighed any grudge or hatred she had for Alphys; Ceroba may not like the Royals but at the end of the day, she isn't going to let that disdain rule her. She wants her daughter alive more than she wants to yell at Alphys about making her an Amalgamate (a pattern that was carried out by all the other Amalgamate families. None of them seemed mad at Alphys for making the Amalgamates; in fact, they seemed pretty grateful to have their family back, even if they were a bit... Melty and fused together with other monsters). So, yeah. Happy ending for everyone (including Clover)!

Unfortunately, because I am not fond of Amalgamate Kanako designs/interpretations that have her just be melty but she's still mostly intact and herself (or it's just her and Integrity and it doesn't have her fused with other monsters), my opinion was always gonna be ambivalent at best. At the end of the day, you can't win everyone over 🤷

#[rusty door hinge noises]#while i am a ''Clover lives with all of their friends in a split-custody situation'' truther i do have a bit of a preference for momlet #so it was nice to see them come back (along with the other kids hooray!!!) and get a chance to live with their friends/martlet #the animation of martlet and clover jumping into the air together was very cute!#but yeah. kinda back on topic i just wish that Kanako wasn't treated as a special case where she gets to be ''more normal'' as an Amalgamat #a part of the Ketsukane story to me is that none of them are exceptional/''main characters.'' Chujin may be a Boss Monster #but that didn't save him from being done in by his own hubris. Ceroba and Kanako are also both just...ordinary people at the end of the day #i think I've brought it up before but if we got to familiarize ourselves with the Drake family would people be making AUs where #Snowdrake's Mom was spared from being an Amalgamate? would people be making her amalgamation less severe than it is in canon?#i like the idea of bad things happen but it's okay. we may be ordinary people but we'll get through this and heal together #rather than stories of exceptionalism.#again though i am just some guy on the internet at the end of the day. don't let my lack of enjoyment stop you #if you genuinely liked it *shrugs*#i did mean it when I said that i respect the amount of effort put into it.

I have a couple of my usual little minor nitpicks (as I am want to have), but I don’t even want to get into them because there were so few and they didn’t impact my enjoyment of the comic all that much. I thought it was super cute!

I won’t spoil anything in case anyone’s interested in buying it for themselves (which, I would say… yeah, buy it, totally!), but what I appreciated the most– especially since this is the first issue and it’s establishing who the girls are for anyone not super familiar with them– is that the girls end up saving the day together. It shows the importance of them not just being heroes, but also being a team (and also being supportive sisters, which… 🥹🫶) and that makes me feel like, even on a basic level, they get the characters. And that’s reassuring! Yay!

#and GODDDDDD Ms. Bellum being there….. just……. thank you 🙏#there were a couple of things that just made me very very happy #MINI SPOILERS AHEAD =>#I thought Him’s little robot destiny test-y guys were cute and fun but he’s not really a rooobooottt guuuyyyy ehhhhhh but like whatever #the comic was basically Super Zeroes but for a new comic book run for people not familiar with the characters…#…like I said I think that’s totally fine because the characters are being established!#it had a bit of its own twist and it worked!#buttercup’s compliment to blossom at the end… yeah she’s a great loner SHE COULD CARRY A SERIES BY HERSELF SHE IS THAT GREAT 😤#but she must be bubbles and buttercup’s brain cell… so of course it��s imperative that she leads them haha #there were some weird OOC-ish dialogue but again nothing that made me go like ???????#I could complain but I genuinely feel like this was honestly fine and good and cute and you know what?#hooray and good job to everyone involved I like it 👍#I’ll totally get the next issue when it comes out BUT THE DESCRIPTION OF IT WORRIES ME LMAOOOOOO #comic #powerpuff girls #ppg

the thing about emu is that her life is super fucking wild and absurd shit is always just happening to her but because she’s so used to it and so full of whimsy she never acknowledges it. And so fans never acknowledge it either. Emu canonically has priceless paintings just hanging around in her house (in universe equivalent of fucking monet’s water lilies and van gough’s sunflowers iirc) and her family is Super Mega Owns A Theme Park And Airline rich and she has the ability to climb everywhere. She has personal body guards that have to wear goofy mascot costumes but are always prepared to die for her despite her not being in danger. Truly taking after her grandpa. Strange fucking creature. I love her.
