today I’ve managed to do two tasks that i haven’t done but needed/should’ve done a while ago. first and biggest was doing the laundry of my t-shirts seeing as i was all out of my best black ones two weeks ago and my okay ones probably a week ago. the last two days I’ve worn a “best” one that I found on my couch, and then today I had to wear one that makes me a bit uncomfortable. good on me bc I need a really good one tomorrow and this way i also got the wash my pajama biker shorts. this was a major success, good on me!! the second one was nice the bathroom cleaning spray the own meter from the floor to the shelf it belongs on after thinking about doing it for over a week. which, also success but it took me less than ten seconds so it feels more like a failure of not having done it before then it does a success now. but the laundry!
#i also took care of the clean dry laundry that’s been hanging out in this ‘box’ i use to transport clean laundry from the bathroom to#the living room#that one was assisted by my mom being in my apartment and saying ‘I’ll look for the pen and you take care of the laundry’#but i managed to get the last object in and started the dishwasher all by myself too#as well as i was the one who found the pen my mom came to help me find#bc i was losing my mind and getting so mad over not finding it only to find it like 5 minutes after she came#i was supposed to try to vacuum and mop the floors today#that had been the goal for several days#but then i did all this#as well as watched my sibling’s dog for a couple of hours#which meant having a sleeping puppy on my chest/stomach for a few hours#(no it doesn’t have to mean that but i was gonna sit on my couch messing around on my phone anyway so I wasn’t gonna do anything else#)

Why is my brother so goddamn incompetent I’m fucking sick of it. He has no business calling himself the smart one when he cannot understand that the dishwasher only works if you put the tablet in.
#today the chickens got out of the coop again and I caught one and yelled to my brother to throw the bolt on the top of the coop door#and he repeatedly said ‘there is no bolt’ and continually tugged on the door till it was creaking at the hinges#I had to put the chicken back down and let it free in order to point out the bolt and all he had to say was#‘that’s not a bolt that’s a latch’ and then walked back inside#I am literally going insane he is a grown ass adult#this is just one of the many things he did today that drove me absolutely mental#he also said he couldn’t mop the floors be a use he could t find the mop#I walked into the kitchen and the mop was leaning against the counter#ugh I’m gonna fucking poison his food tomorrow

Well, the first bullet point is already completed. But look what I started at 1 am before I went "wtf am I doing?" and went back to sleep.
(Ugh, I should've cropped this better before I put this here 😣 ) Anyway, Coronation chapter, yaaaaaay!!! This one is gonna be so fun I am looking forward to see how this will come out. I know you guys missed my beautiful friendship moments with Bowser and Peach, so that'll be there. If you remember my "Finding the Balance" fic you know I kinda touched upon Peach and Toadsworth relationship shifting a bit as they transition from that father/daughter to advisor/ruler dynamic so to speak so a little bit of that in there. I feel like the second point can also relate to all the other toads as well seeing as they all had a hand in raising her and now she's going to be the one over them now. I think I have her age here set around 16-17 ish and it's that struggle of being seen as someone they can trust and taken seriously despite her age vs how they still maybe see her. I'm leaning towards making her give this cringy speech during the process, which is where this screenshot is surely leading. Gotta remember this is where her and Bowser's alliance is officialized. I'm gonna do my best to make it really good for you all 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾☺️☺️☺️.

When it's done 🤭. I feel like I've written what I've wanted to the best I can, and it's another thing done . It's ready to be shared on the internet, and I love that for me. Also, I'm able to go indulge and treat myself to other fun activities for a while.

For now definitely independent ideas and those formed from conversing as you (Spocky) really would know (AO3 comments between me and Spocky 👌🏾). I feel like I would do so good with prompts if I tried them but there's also a little part in my brain that's like....no 🤣. When I think of the prompts I see here and people sending them, I'm like "Ok if I did this, what if it's not what they were expecting it to be 🤔 and they just don't like it" or something along those lines... it might sound crazy but that's just how I think about it and heck It's already a challenge to make my own stories how I want them to be. Oh and if the prompt/challenge is combined with a deadline to submit...ugh that's something else 😳

beat undertale yellow!!
#undertale yellow#jfc am i grateful for easy mode. there's no way i would have been able to beat ceroba without it jfCHRIST#the newly implemented dodging mechanic....bruh i know it was in mew mew love blaster and i played the shit out of mew mew love blaster#but i never beat the final boss. + i barely moved and definitely never dodged#yeah even with easy mode i nearly fucking died. so.#it was very good i understand the hype. good music. fun characters#the ANIMATIONS. those were incredible#but yeah i do think the bullet patterns. especially for bosses. were a weaker point#the retry battle option and later the easy mode carried the game through for me#but i think that a lot of the fights in the original game had more patterns that#once you learned the right movement to do. they were avoidable basically 100% of the time#and there definitely were difficult fights that still had that recognition. the gardener is one that comes to mind as being challenging#but doable!#i also think the implementation of new mechanics was a little clumsy occasionally. the wet floor for the mop bot comes to mind#especially in duo fights where the wet floor will stay even when the enemy is spared#(though that may be a bug because the sign doesn't display)#but things like dodging and the shield weren't telegraphed enough within their fights.#and in my opinion were added as mechanical changes too late before two very difficult fights#(pacifist axis and ceroba)#one mechanic i really enjoyed was the lasso. the patterns felt more crafted in line with movement on the lasso. good design#i suppose the audience of undertale yellow is expected to be familiar with undertale but also i felt like blue and orange attacks were#maybe sometimes overused in boss fights. again especially the last 2 in pacifist. to be fair i didn't notice them as much in cerobas#because i didn't notice anything because it was crazy in there#honestly though compared to many many many undertale fangames i've seen. the bullet patterns were very good. some undertale fangames....#anyway i'm glad i played undertale yellow and honestly it made me want more peeks at the underground further in the past#i liked how it made the underground seem a lot bigger#now i want undertale orange-#i've been wanting to replay undertale but its too fresh in my mind still imo. but this helped whet my hunger for undertale/deltarune content

me staring at the two big-ticket things I let myself order with my tax refund that I REALLY hope are going to help w/cooking/cleaning whilst being ill
#steam mop and blender that can cook for the curious#i want to be able to make Smoother Soups and also smoothies and stuff#and the teeny tiny magic bullet blender ive had forever is#teeny tiny. and can't do hot things#and currently the kitchen floor gets dirty every .5 seconds and resists all cleaning attempts#other than hunkering down and scrubbing each individual stain#which my back and legs. spent the whole afternoon cleaning/organizing and you can barely tell. what if i walked into the ocean and was never seen again
#like EYE know my place is cleaner and i feel much better about it#bc 90% of the floor has been swept/vacuumed/mopped so it no longer looks/feels gross to walk on#and there's no longer a giant pile of clean but unfolded laundry and a laundry drying rack dominating half the room#(except for my cloak and some stuff that needs mending and some socks that i may or may not wear again before doing laundry)#and i washed my kitchen floor mats and my pantry has been somewhat organized so i can at least close the door#and i cleaned all the old science experiments out of my fridge and washed the bathroom sink#and i took stuff that had been sitting in open packages forever out of said packages#and i pulled all the cushions off my couch to re-fluff them and vacuum the liner#(which i haven't done in so long there was?? a whole ass butter knife in there?? that i apparently lost in my couch at some point??)#and i went grocery shopping and restocked on a bunch of essentials and bought stuff for a few meals#but my bed is still unmade and all my tables are still covered with junk and my kitchen counter is a mess#so it LOOKS like i haven't cleaned at all even though this was the most i've cleaned in months#i'm proud of myself but also i wish visually it looked cleaner

Valentines was chaotic and frustrating, but I got a Clicker funko and I looked cute at occupational therapy. Plus we worked out some better methods of cooking that should cause me less pain.
