Sonic Idea

Okay so I watch the Sonic 3 Movie like two weeks ago and I came up with an idea that I think is pretty cool. I will admit I’m surprise I haven’t seen someone else pitch this already.

Okay DISCLAIMER: This idea can ONLY apply to Sonic in the movie only. I haven’t been up to date with my Sonic lore so I apologize if I get some things wrongs. I’m only pitching this idea in the hopes people that actually do know what they are talking about can pick this idea up. Please feel free to use this idea all I ask is to be mentioned, tag me, or use the tag I will be using.

SHADOW AND SONIC ROLE SWITCH

Okay I will admit the details are still getting worked on but this basically what I have:

So Sonic ends up getting crashed on Earth, GUN takes him in, and Maddie and Tom take care of Sonic. (Maddie can like a doctor and Tom can be like a guard or something, what matters is they work there)

Maddie and Tom love Sonic like a son, and Sonic loves them like they are his parents. Gerald Robotnik can still be experimenting on Sonic that stuff stays the same. Gerald is very protective over this family because he lost his own so it’s why he is so invested in them.

Tom and Gerald find out what GUN’s plans and they immediately try to escape with Sonic. Maddie joining with them because she isn’t going to leave Sonic behind. They get chased but as they get to the explosion maybe Tom shields Gerald and Maddie try to shield Sonic.

General Walter tries to stop the soldiers and we know what happens. They kaboom, we know what happens. Extra flavor of angst have Maddie try to tell Sonic something but he doesn’t understand/can’t remember because trauma.

Maddie and Tom are dead, Sonic goes to put on ice, and Gerald goes to jail. That part stays the same. Now onto Shadow, he is found by Longclaw, she raises him and here is where Idk how exactly this would work but this is what I got so far.

So when Longclaw is raising Shadow and they get attacked. I think the attack should like people that are connected to Rouge is…IDK how to work that in, (maybe Rouge has a clan like Knuckles) idk but they are only after Longclaw in hopes to find the Master Chaos Emerald. Longclaw saves Shadow and that’s how the first movie plays out.

Shadow lives on Earth in hiding until he gets discovered by a woman named Maria. She takes Shadow in and the whole movie plays out with Shadow and Maria. I think it would be cool if Maria didn’t know who her family is so it will be a big twist when she learns that she is related to Ivo.

Anyways, Maria has Shadow will her. Mother-son dynamic happens and cue the second movie happening. Rouge is after Shadow to get the Chaos Emerald, and Amy is following Shadow around. Ivo and Stone are still the antagonist of everything, they get taken care, and movie ends with Shadow, Rouge, and Amy all becoming Siblings with Maria as the mom

Third movie happens Sonic gets free and is on a revenge quest with Gerald, Ivo, and Stone. We know what happened. It would be cool to see Sonic hurting Maria (By accident) and Shadow having the same mental down that happened in the movie. They fight, save the world, and everything plays out the same in the movie with the characters.

Maybe with the end credit scene it’s like Metal Shadow and maybe Knuckles attacks them??? Tails??? Idk one of them and that’s basically everything I have so far to this idea.

If anyone wants to change or tweak some of this around go for it!!! This whole post is just an excuse for me to ramble a Sonic Idea I have had.

BONUS IDEA: Have Sonic x Amy happen and Shadow is in the background being livid about it because protective big brother

One thing that kills me a little about dols writing is how the characters (especially the LIs) are kind of being left behind in the wake of game play gimmicks (that seem fun until you realize they're just a grind) and supernatural lore (that doesn't even directly tie into any of the LIs).

For example, cooking could have been a fun inclusion in the game, but its a real slog to get through and it doesn't actually progress any of the storylines or lead to really fun scenes with the love interests. Like, cooking could be tied into the cafe, or certain ingredients could be used in a food play context, or utilize cooking for dates with the LIs, because right now cooking is extremely under-developed (which is deserving of criticism imo. If the game or story aspect of a new mechanic isn't finished it probably shouldn't be pushed out, because there's no guarantee that any of the developers will actually get around to doing anything with it in the future).

Some of the lore is cool, but it isn't very well integrated with the characters. With the snake painting and the multi-ending gimmick it could have been a fun quest for the PC to discover new endings by talking to other characters. Like, maybe Winter knows one ending, but Sydney (or Jordan) has heard another, and Avery/Remy/Wren know another version of the events, so you get to learn more about the world while also learning about a character and their thoughts on the painting. Admittedly, I don't really care that much about the temple, but I attribute that to the writing not doing a great job at tying the temple into... anything, really lmao

The lack of dates and holiday events with the LIs is something I also find frustrating. Maybe it's just me, but doing Christmas and Valentine's events with all of the love interests seems like a really easy thing to plan for, and they're events that feel meaty enough that most people would be okay with getting a few big events like that every year. Not to mention you could have events that delve into lore while also focusing on LIs. The temple follows a made up pseudo pagan religion. Throw in festivals for the summer and winter solstices. Make a harvest festival that involves the PC and Alex needing to do something.

Somehow dol just feels like an incredibly strange game when I actually think about it. The LIs don't feel fleshed out enough for an actual dating sim adjacent game, but the lore isn't consistent enough for the game to be focused on that either (like what even is the island? why is it tribal? why not have it take vague inspiration from more Celtic mythology or English folklore instead, because the island just feels really gross the way it exists now).

The cooking def needs work, a lot of work. It takes so fucking long to get recipes to even make a fucking meal, they really gotta come up with a better way of doing the cooking. Like you said using it for dates and stuff would be really cool, there also needs to be more variety in scenes when you do give them food bc it's the same shit every time. I agree, if it isn't finished don't put it out. You can hint at it or even openly talk about it but don't give us halfassed shit.

Some of the lore is quite interesting and I used to be obsessed with it, all the things Winter would tell you about the antiques is cool. But now it just feels off? Idk there's just something different, it might be the writing.

We do need more dates and holidays, like what do you mean I can't give other LI's Christmas gifts? Why is Eden the only one with a valentines event? I also really love your idea of those events, they would be so cool. It really shouldn't be hard to implement more events, like sure it'll take a bit to write everything but I'm more than willing to wait for actually good content. I'm willing to wait months if it means the writing is better, just please.

There's some inconsistencies and things that have just been completely changed and/or removed. The characters genuinely need to be fleshed out and I say this with my whole fucking chest, do fucking better devs and writers

The island is fucking awful and kinda hella racist if you really think about it. It needs a whole rework or just be removed bc it serves no purpose aside from like 4 artifacts and a temple quest.

Season 1:

Imperfect Harmony, I just think it's the perfect episode specially to show the actual start of their adventures. The humor is IMPECCABLE, I adore everyone here, I love how Hiccup figured out how to save everyone. 9/10

and a Tie between Gone Gustav Gove, Dad Hiccup... Just dad Hiccup. It just hit every single button on my body. I adore it so so much idk what to say. It's not even that I love Gustav loll no, It's more about Hiccup and his leader persona and omg he's such a dad it's amazing to watch. 8.5/10 And the Next Big Sting. Idk I just ADORE Speed Stingers and the gang working together, I ADORE this being the first intro to Hiccup's flightsuit and his nerd ass self I adore him so much he's at his BEST here. 9/10

Season 2: (I can't CHOOSE AH it's my fave season)

Night of the Hunters Parts 1/2: I adore Astrid here, i ADORE all the gangs interactions here, I love how they come up with plans to escape so much lol and I ADORE Snotlout and Hiccups lil side quest. Everything about it it's amazing. 10/10

And Maces and Talons 1/2 for OBVIOUS reasons. VIGGO, his whole intro and how he fooled Hiccup and how uch of THREAT he actually was. Amazing. 100/10

Season 3:

Ok first a tie between Buffalord Soldier and Stryke Out. Buffalord mostly cause I just adore that dragon, it's so FUCKING CUTE!!! An dyeah I do appreciate the Hiccstrid fluff ngl (altho I was getting a lil tired Astrid was always in need of rescue over and over) I'm nothing if not a useless fangirl that ate that shit up sadly. 8/10 Stryke Out because I adore the lore? like idk Dragon fighting? it should've been a concept that should've been explored more. I ADORE Hiccup here and his dragon training abilities are so cool so see in such an organic way AND Snotlout ahh he was so worried sobs 9/10

Family on the Edge: Mostly cause I adore how Dagur's arc was handled. And even Heather's inner conflict I liked (I mean I have alot to say about how they treat her and her relationship with Dagut i the show especialyl in the last seasons... but I liked it A LOT here) 9/10

Season 4:

Fuck... I really wanna say Blindsided but I DO NOT like how they mixed Astrid being blind and Hiccstrid happening on the same episode... like Astrid was AMAZING this episode from top to bottom. She's amazing and I love how it's shown that she's indeed more useful and competent even blind than other in the gang lol 8/10. BUT I think Not Lout made me almost cry like legit I just love every single Snotlout episode so much. Hi anxieties, his request to be a leader to Hiccup, his ADMIRATION towards everyone and his doubts and self image,those things just hit so hard home I adore him so much I can't stress enough. 9/10 So I guess it's a tie.

Shell Shocked 1/2: I think it was an amazing close to the season (it was supposed to be the LAST but oh well) I loved Viggo here (al tho his stupid ass move with Astrid was so DUMB ugh) and I liked the action. I think Viggo and the Dragon eye should've been gone for good but I love him too much soooooo Hell I even enjoyed Hiccstrid relationship here, I liked the lil period when it's just them knowing, like I WOULD SEE WHY they chose to keep it that way again fangirl in me.... 9.5/10

Season 5:

Well This season was mixed even tho I enjoyed these episode they're far lower on my GENERAL ranking of episodes:

Wings of the War part 2: Yes only part 2 cause legit I hate how this whole conflict started... but I guess I enjoyed it enough we had Berk, Stoick which I always adore to see, AStrid leading the riders, Hiccup using his brain. Overall good things. 7/10

I guess another tie with A Matter of Perspective and No Dragon Left Behind. A Matter of Perspective because I LOVE DRAGON LORE. I ADORE that dragons have their own rituals and traditions, like I NEED MORE OF THAT (and yes it contradicts httyd3 but fuck that movie I prefer this), I liked that it was supposed to be a sacred place and Hiccup wanted to maintain it that way (tho the twins did piss me off a lil bit lol) 8/10. I really liked No Dragon Left Behind, ALTHO I HATE SLITHER WINGS I HATE their deigns so much..... idk I just hate it BUT It's an Astrid Episode where she DID gave up her life for Stomrfly so nice bonding love to see (even tho she didn't need it and needed rescuing AGAIN lmfaoooo) 7/10

Season 6: (I'm not yet done with this Season lol so I'll just give the ones I liked so far) AND that's it, I WILL make a Season 6 review but so far it's mostly ok :3

NO BARK ALL BITE! god I CANNOT STRESS enough how much I ADORED this episode. It was a SUPER nice surprise given it's in SEASON 6 lol but STOICK AND HICCUP! just THEM. I think this might just be easily be ONE of the best in the entire series just because I LOVE how we get to see their different leading methods. Like I stated here, I ADORE to see Hiccup's chief like qualities and how they clash with Stoick's it was such a treat. Seeing them come together at the end and act like the two leaders they are is SOOO AHHHH MY ENTIRE HEART! 100/10

AND AS MUCH as I HATE the concept and existence of the Wingmaidens (and their weird ass designs UGH so uncanny).................. Chain of Command is a Snotlout episode where I think he shines the MOST out of all the series and I ADORE to see. Like, holy hell I knew Snotlout was amazing but watching this episode I was like HOW CAN HE GET ANY BETTER! His EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE!?!? His advice? His whole ass speech? Hic plan and his support towards Minden??? 9.9/10 omg... I adore you Snotlout you deserve all the praise.

EDIT: OK FORGET ABOUT CHAIN OF COMMAND I REALLY LOVED TRIPLE CROSS MORE! Fuck i think Viggo should've been used more these past 2 seasons and I wish we got to see more interactions with Hiccup and him after his "death" I'm sad this was the only and last one. We were ROBBED of Hiccup and Viggo being allies more ahh it was sucha treat watching them work together ahhhhhh I adoreu Viggo.

So yeah, I think I could put I liked more episodes in one season (2) than most of another but I wanted to be fair and do it per season :3

HUGE SPOILERS BELOW FOR THE WHOLE DLC im rambling somewhat incoherently. Have fun reading it I guess lol

I love being able to explore the fringes of reality and time!!!! I loooove cosmic stuff like this and im collecting new lore like it's all trinkets

Watcher DLC is basically POV: youre a slugcat who gets grabbed by an echo and the echo is like "Look!! I figured out how to do cool stuff! Im gonna show it to you!!" And eventually you help them move on! (Bro could have already escaped their echo cycle, but just bc they have attained enlightenment doesn't mean they are ready to move on)

And THE ROT.... The risks of warping without karma flowers... making the world more unstable as you go. Normal rot being the product of unstable genetics while this nastier stuff is the product of unstable reality

And even if you aren't warping around, you're still leaving behind tears if you have high enough ripple karma. Instead of simply changing color, when you go invisible you are actually moving in and out of the "shadow realm" (probably a layer between normal reality and the void) and with enough power, exiting it creates rips in the fabric, so to speak

AND THE VOIDPRAWN!!! Idk why they are blue (might be how Watcher perceives them). Apparently they also eat each other, and probably the reason why the bigger ones try to kill you is they think you are another voidprawn to eat. As for why the voidprawn eat each other in the first place... maybe that's how they grow? They eat each other and merge their consciousnesses into something bigger, and eventually they grow up into a void worm? And it's quite rare for voidspawn to start cannibalizing one another, but once they start it is hard to stop because they Need To Grow.

And Watcher's state is so weird and unnatural (they can go into the shadow realm where voidprawn often dwell) that of course the other voidspawn think they are one of them. Poor watcher...

And Outer Rim!!! I don't think it is an Actual Place and more like a Metaphorical one. It's the edge of a ripple where the water is still. (Attempting to warp without reinforced karma brings up an alert that says that this "fringe" is already too unstable.) But it is still affected by the ripples you leave, and bad warping repeatedly makes the rot side of the region grow and eventually sprout A Guy. And the Guy is so funky......

The Prince (as they are called) is courteous but the rot still tries to eat you. And likewise, the void intrudes upon his kingdom, primarily in the form of the Watcher and karma flowers. Void and rot best friends but they would literally eat each other if given the chance. Except Void is ultimately the bigger fish here.

Change of topic! The Ancients... Im not a huge fan of the idea of Ancients being really big (or, not *that* big - I still imagine them being quite a bit taller than humans). It doesn't make much sense to me in terms of world and creature scaling. Then again I should probably draw size comparison stuff to figure out how tall they really are in my eyes

As for Ancient Urban! Definitely pre-iterators but post-void revolution due to the presence of void baths. I LOVE having a look into the culture of Ancients, and more importantly, the creatures. The only flora/fauna that you can interact with in Ancient Urban are: rats, small moths, batflies, and bubble fruit. Considering how far in the past this region probably is, there's a good chance that all four of these species are primal fauna (meaning that my headcanon abt batflies being primal fauna is quite possibly canon!)

And the other beasts! The moths (Aka big moths, mothbirds, moth dragons, mothmen, angels, etc; all nicknames from me and my friends) are probably relatives of batflies but they grew really big. Not sure if that is due to a natural process (growing larger to deal with cold weather?) or due to bio-engineering. The smaller counterparts seem to be similar to pigeons or songbirds in how they exist in Ancient Urban, and some of them appear to have colored bands on their legs. Interesting....

To me chaengie is the type of loser who might get mistaken by a popular person just because she looks so chill sometimes. Like she be on her car hitting a blunt listening to music or something and people see it and are like “wait that’s cool!”.

In reality tho you’re her first girlfriend and one of the few people she talks to on campus. Girlie can’t look at people in the eye😭 when you’re not looking tho (or when she thinks you’re not looking) her eyes are stuck to your face, memorizing every feature, lovingly appreciating them.

She’s a movies typa nerd too like she will ask you to watch a marathon of Tim burton stuff with her and explain the whole lore and how they’re all connected (i need this actually).

“So in this movie he’s the kid, then he becomes adult and that’s when the Corpse Bride story takes place, and then in The Nightmare Before Christmas we see him in his dead form, and it’s all the same dude! isn’t it cool?!” She’d explain while holding her plushie of Sparky (which was a gift from you btw).

“Of course babe.” You’d answer, not fully understanding everything but just happy to be there ‘cause she was adorable.

Museum dates happen often, where she’d quietly take her time to contemplate any piece that caught her attention. She will even Google about it online to know the story behind it.

“Chaeyoung no-” you tell her while holding her arm so she doesn’t try to take the painting 😭

As I said she can’t look at people in the eye. Of course after you started dating she got better at it with you, but before? Girlie’s eyes were everywhere but on you. And when I say everywhere I mean everywhere. She tried to avoid it, she really did, but god aren’t you hot? How was she supposed to not look at your chest? Or when your shoulders were exposed, the only thing she wanted was to kiss them so bad :( she would get so lost in her thoughts that wouldn’t even realize she had been staring for so long, and the moment you catch her doing it she’d get so flustered, her eyes escaping your figure completely quietly groaning and mentally slapping herself but she never learns, she does it again lol.

After you started dating, you had this thing where whenever you noticed her eyes on you like that (because of course she was still obsessed with you and 0 slick about it) you’d tease her, and she’d deny the sht out of it. You know that little voice and pout combo she has sometimes? Like that while looking at the floor- ahhhh cutie patootie. One day tho, you whispered in her ear that instead of looking so much, she should touch and take what’s supposed to be hers. And bro?! How do you say this to a literal virgin 😭 girlie went completely quiet like COMPLETELY for the rest of the class.

You guys had been dating for a little while, so she knew that time would come sooner or later. It’s not that she didn’t want it, of course she did like c’mon, the amount of times she’d touch herself thinking about you were countless even before you guys started dating (oh ok perv). But she was a little nervous which it’s normal! She knew it was normal to be nervous, still tho… she just didn’t want to disappoint you or something ‘cause she knew you had a lot more experience :( . While waiting for you to finish your last class in her car, she tried to calm herself and repeat that you having experience was actually a good thing! that way she could learn with you, right? On your side tho, you were nervous yourself. Being somebody’s first time was a big thing. You didn’t wanna mess it up for chaeyoung, she was your sweet girlfriend and you wanted it to be good for both of you, specially for her. You met your girlie at her spot in the parking lot as always and made your way to her house for another movie marathon date. Over-planning stuff wasn’t your style nor chaeng’s, so even tho you wanted things to go well, and it felt like the moment was close after more than constant teasing, you tried not to overthink about it. It was gonna happen when it was meant to be.

But Chaeyoung didn’t expect it to be this soon ah-

You were feeling extra clingy, using one of her oversized shirts and playing with her hands while resting your head on her shoulder as you watched the movie and made little conversation about it. Things were going chill as usual, until you rested one of your hands on her thigh, a little too close to more delicate zones. You didn’t notice it as you caressed the exposed skin of her inner thigh, oh but chaeyoung did. She gulped and started throwing facts about the people involved in the movie. You thought it was cute, until you could feel the warmth of her face against your forehead. You sat straight to look at her and softly asked “is everything ok babe?” As you moved your hand from her leg to her forehead to check her temperature “are you getting sick?”

“I- I’m ok, y/n.” She said, clearing her throat. Chaeng grabbed your hand and intertwined your fingers. You smiled and kissed her cheek, finding comfort against her shoulder again. But Ofc you couldn’t stay still, and you went from leaving kisses on her face from time to time to softly kissing her neck. At first it was just a few short ones, those that tickle a little bit and felt nice and cute. But eventually it developed to more sensual ones, slow and wet ones. You didn’t even realize what you were doing, but your girlfriend’s skin tasted so nice. And she was so cute, how to resist it? She was looking even cuter than normal for some reason today:(( You only noticed what was going on once you heard her letting out a quiet soft moan as she asked “y/n, w-what are you doing?”

“Oh chaengie I’m so sorry!” You apologized as you tried to give your girlfriend some space “I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable or anything I just-”

“N-no! It’s ok, it felt nice it’s just” she started while making sure you stayed as close as you were next to her “well you’ve never done that and it was unexpected. But it felt nice, could you.. maybe keep doing it?” She asked surprising you, her face still with some light blush.

“Are you sure baby? I really didn’t mean to suddenly do it.” You clarified. It was just kisses but you knew yourself and you knew how much you wanted your girl, and you knew that kisses like those were almost always just the beginning of more, so you needed to make sure things were ok before continuing. Of course if she didn’t want anything more, or ever wanted to stop, you would. You weren’t expecting anything.

Doesn’t mean you didn’t want it.

“Please do it again…” she asked again ever so cutely. You could only obey and made yourself more comfortable, holding her by the waist and slightly feeling some of her skin making direct contact with your hands thanks to her shirt moving a lot. You couldn’t wait to take it off.

Your mouth went back to her neck after leaving a soft kiss on her lips. The soft sighs escaping chaeyoung’s mouth making you eager to feel her, to taste her.

“You’re so beautiful, baby.” You told her as you continued your kisses. “So so beautiful.”

“Hmmmm no I’m not..” she let out in a little groan. You stopped to look at her, checking how even though she seemed to be enjoying your touch, she was still slightly awkward and shy about it. She tended to answer like that sometimes whenever you complimented her. You always needed to ease her mind whenever you noticed her confidence getting low but in this moment, this moment of yours both, you needed it more than anything else. To make her understand how perfect she was to you. Because in the whole world there wasn’t one single thing more beautiful than the woman in front of you. Not one single thing more special or important.

You caressed her face with one of your hands for a moment before grabbing her hands.

“Chaengie, my love. Look at me.” You asked her in a soft voice. However, your calm tone scared chaeyoung, making her think that maybe she ruined the moment by being so insecure. She looked at you almost pouting with her shiny eyes looking extra big as you started talking. “I love you.” You said firmly, still in a soft voice.

“I know you do, y/n…”

“No, listen. Because I know what you’re thinking and I don’t like when you think that.” She sighed and rolled her eyes at your comment, but both of you knew it was true. You left a soft kiss on the tip of her nose, which brought the blush back to her face. “I love you so much, you are so very beautiful and I’m in love with you. I want you in every way you can imagine, ok? To me, every part of you is perfect. Your eyes, your lips, your cute little nose” you said as you left another kiss there, making her giggle in a way that melted your heart “Your hands too” as you put them closer to your lips to leave multiple kisses on them “Every tattoo on your skin, your back, your-”

“Wait.” She interrupted, the blush in her face getting brighter as you paid attention to her next words, which she seemed a little unsure to say but opted to do it anyways as she bit her lip. “Aren’t you.. gonna kiss those too?” She asked and again, she caught you by surprise ‘cause how does she go from insecure and shy to saying those things?? But c’mon who where you to even think about denying that.

“That is an amazing idea yes you’re right I should do that.” You said all eager as you started leaving kisses all over her arms and hands. Both of you were giggling while also hugging each other and honestly it felt like your first time ever as well. Nothing you’ve felt before could ever compare to the feelings Chaeyoung caused in you.

“Can I take this off, baby? So I can reach your other tattoos” You gently asked her, tugging on the edges of her shirt. Chaeyoung gulped before nodding, knowing she didn’t have anything under it and that you were gonna see her naked body for the first time.

“Could I take yours off first before you do that, though?” She asked carefully, and you smiled at her before kissing her cheek.

Which ngl, after these previous episodes reigning down HARD on this dude... idk, just felt refreshingly wholesome to see for this series, yknow?😊

You seriously expect me to believe he'd be the type to throw that all away (for a WHOLE month)... all to simply whine over some blue-blooded bird not noticing him? ...Yeaaaaah sorry, but I'm gonna have to call bs on that, chief- 🙄

Kiiiinda tying in the last point, but as much as I enjoyed the tense thills gained from the "Rolando enters Blitz' mind to make him see his own flaws/past mistakes" sequence... I do have a few issues with some of these other "flashbacks" added to the mix: 1) Loona's groin kick towards Blitz in "Seeing Stars" (*wasn't Blitz's fault since ALL he did was tell her to be nice to clients... and was right about to apologize to Loona just seconds before the kick 😒*) 2) Blitz pushing Stolas' hand away in "Ozzies" (*which Blitz only did after Stolas hide his face/didn't defend Blitz during the song*) 3) Stolas' hurt expression at the end van scene of "Ozzie's" (*mind you, taking place while Blitz is rightfully standing up for himself/telling off Stolas for being a privileged creep all of S1*) 4) Stolas trying to present the Asmodean Crystal gift in "Full Moon" (*a whoooole mess in of itself I already covered prior-*) 5) Stolas angrily walking away from their pool fight + trash-talking Blitz in the "Motherf**kers" song + drunkenly dumping his problems on him + making out with a whole other dude in front of Blitz (*again, a huge mess I covered prior but TL;DR... most of that WASN'T fully-Blitz's fault in those instances??😑*)

Like... I dunno man, I don't mean to sound like I'm just ragging on Stolas per-episode as of late... but these last few points just keep giving me mixed signals than any genuine idea as to WHY Blitz even has these "feelings" growing for Stolas, atm?🤨For any canon couple in fiction, I WANT to see reasons for why they work best together, what kind of interests/aspects they've got in-common, what special "spark" is there that helps them stand out above all the other dynamics in-canon... but from what I see so far on Blitz's end (& the narrative continuing to guilt on him being "the problem")... it honestly feels more like he's only now fallen for Stolas out of pity... not because of any genuine affection or attraction :/ Which... ngl, sounds like a really sad precedent to send for a main-endgame couple, regardless of series genre imo... 🤷‍♀️

working on a signalis/2001 space odyssey crossover au since im really fixated on 2001aso and enjoy the world and characters of signalis, might dump lore and such here for it eventually but its mainly only hal because I just wanted to draw him as a replika and it spiraled into this lol. . .

HALR aka Halberd or Hal (don't have any real good ideas for what the german in the acronym would stand for yet as I do NOT speak a lick of german) is a replika based off HAL-9000 from 2001aso. I kind of stretched the replika naming standards for this because I couldn't find any good birds or bird names so I just resorted to the first bird I knew starting with H, the hawk or goshawk (sorry talk tuah fans). also he's named after and uses a halberd because it sounds like Hal Bird and im funny like that. halberds are also sick as hell and can counter falke spears which I thought was cool.

purpose-wise he's basically a sigma male merge of LSTR and FKLR units with both of their specialities combined, i.e. the ship maintenance skills and "stoicism" of LSTRs and the combat prowess and Bioresonance of FKLRs. He does pretty much everything HAL9000 does in 2001aso, like controlling the entire Discovery and maintaining navigation and the hibernaculums while engaging with the crew (or just Dave lol). my reasoning for his deployment over another LSTR unit, besides just being an upgraded and more capable variant, is due to his strong biores and use as protection.

in an earlier period of the world (I'm not too confident on the timeline in tandem with the actual game including the whole ariane dream situation so like. Alternate Universe Split Timeline or whatever) the Nation ends up being the first to secretly dig up the Tycho Monolith and trace the emanating signal to a far off planetary system. this prompts the designing of a replika that can handle both prolonged space expeditions and any potential conflict it may encounter in a first-contact mission with alien lifeforms. as far as the public and Hal's crew on the Discovery are aware, he really is simply just an upgraded high-end alternative to LSTRs. they're a big scary corporation of course they wouldn't want people including the literal pilots and scientists to know they're looking for aliens lol.

ALSO, he utilizes biores to basically form the same connection and hold to the ship as HAL9000 does in the form of a sort of halo or "crown" of flashing cords that trail behind him, connecting to his back and upper arms and flickering in and out of existence like half tangible processor threads. modified HAL terminals on the discovery walls act as anchor points for him to connect to and fully immerse himself in the workings of the ship, this makes his crown spread farther and fully tangible (I hemmed and hawed with my friends about the colors they'd be because gold wouldn't really make sense so I just ended up using technical difficulties aka my pride flag). he can also manifest his cool trusty red halberd as means of protecting his crew, though he will of course take great pains to keep peace among other lifeforms.

I think thats about all I've got so far, uhh some quick facts: he's 8 feet tall, 245cm, could probably beat falke in a fight, anchoring stabilizes his persona and singing and flowers degrade it (had to shoehorn in daisies somehow), his pixel logo is based off the USAA logo from the space odyssey film jumpsuits, he/its pronouns, and he and dave WILL be kissing. android sesbian lex and robot say gex solidarity 🤝

So ya the cool red lights goes underneath the visor then they mimic 1x4’s evil glowing eyes >:)

yeah I have thoughts on that idea. The first one takes the form of an incoherent screech of joy because I love the spin this eould put on established events. Seeing Daud's and Billie's relationship start out and develop would be wonderful.

the second thought I had was that, oddly enough, the pitch gave me Locust City vibes. Idk if you know anything about that particular project but charting the development of two characters' relationship during a troubled time was a big part of the plan. I think Dishonored is at its best when it focuses on character building like that so it's a fantastic idea, I'd love to know if you had more details planned out

the third thought I had was a bit more meta. Dishonored seems to advance as a narrative by branching out new stories based off of previously secondary characters. telling their tales, so to speak. And to some extent Daud's and Billie's stories have been told already. There really is just one or two characters big enough in the narrative to have their own spinoff stories at this point. Delilah or the Outsider. And since Delilah is already featured in two stories I'd be curious if you had any ideas for an Outsider-centered narrative

unfortunately, im not familiar with locus city! it was supposed to be a spin-off of disco elysium? i havent played it. "the development of two characters' relationship during a troubled time was a big part of the plan." has huge dh vibes, really! some other details i thought of: - same as with KoD, chaos system affects reputation, which involves the other whalers, as well as how billie will turn out (aka a longer version oh her character behaviour development in KoD) - a spin on mission vs base mechanic dh does: "base" parts would require training the whalers, managing the base and getting ready for the next mission more thoroughly! i feel like mission parts could be the "global" part of the story, whereas base is more "personal", but still impactful - a /j one in "choosing your mark" reverse-babysitting billie as daud so she gets to the base unharmed but without getting seen :) - oh! also forgot to pin this shitposty-thing to the og post. if it counts:

beau + alolan exeggutor: aside from the obvious, the alolan form's dragon type unlocks its hidden potential as an underrated allrounder. also located on an extremely specific island.

gaz + alolan ninetales: a cool wily old fox, quite literally, but the alolan form is especially known for its tendency to operate solo

maxi + salamence: so the lore behind salamence's base form, bagon, is it repeatedly injures itself in battle, goes into hibernation, and comes out on the other end as a mighty dragon

probably my favourite in the franchise … alola red!!!

a pretty simple design and nothing too crazy but simplicity done right is something i actually really struggle with in my own art so i love seeing how other artists approach it. its so cool being able to see the most famous character in the franchise grow from a little 11 year old to now being a grown adult 🥺 this is literally my point of reference when drawing or imagining red … he’s so handsome god damn!!!

lance - i think every design from rby/gsc to lgpe are super solid but ofc his iconic hgss fit is my fave … i think sometimes the superhero look can come off corny but all of his designs are so solid. i also adore how raihan and the hammerlocke uniform incorporated the design!!! you can easily tell his design was the blueprint for all upcoming dragon trainers too… an icon. this piece from the spe artbook is easily my fave ahhhh

adaman!!! no big essay reason just think it’s such a cool design, i love the colours and the incorporation of diamond shapes within the outfit with the bandages! i also love him with his longer hair out as a kid (i would die to see adult him rocking this … wahhh) idk i just wanna marry this man if i’m being honest with you LOL. take is one of my favourite character designers working at gf he literally nails every single design he’s done!!!

ghetsis! particularly his bw design and how colourful it is. his bw2 outfit gives off more evil scientist imo (which i geuss works for what he’s doing in that game lol) but his original bw design definitely gives more cult leader - which perfectly fits him and team plasma imo! i particularly like how the right side of his body is concealed, most obviously his arm and eye - bulbapedia summarises a lot more examples! i don’t think the reasoning for this has ever been explained but i’d love to know if there’s any actual lore behind it or if it’s purely a design choice!

elesa in bw2 specifically! i will forgive this women for being consistently one of the hardest gym leaders in the series because she ate this outfit UP. another one with no particular reason i just really love the headphones and especially the jacket … it looks so comfy!!! … i never vibed with her design in bw so this is such an upgrade to me… its very miku-esq imo!

FNAF in DBD concepts:

So we all probably heard that FNAF is officially Dead by Daylight's Anniversary chapter for next year, and it's all but confirmed that the killer will be Springtrap, but here are some other predictions and concepts I have. These likely aren't happening it would just be fun.

Springtrap - Vanny Visceral Skin

Pretty self-explanatory. If Springtrap is the chapter's killer (which it most likely is) then Vanny would be a great visceral skin for him. I would say Legendary, but I feel like Vanny would have completely different animations to Springtrap due to not being a robot.

The Dredge - Mangle Legendary Skin

I think this would go hard, as it would be a mess of wires with her main head being obviously the Toy Foxy head, whilst the rest of him would be a mangle of animatronic parts. I think something cool would be if instead of goopy noises, she made radio static noises and metallic sounds. He'd have to have more added wires and limbs to make up for Dredge's size but it doesn't have to be a 1-for-1 recreation anyway.

The Unknown - Michael/Ennard Legendary Skin

This would go hard I think. It would be pretty similar to the Unknown's default design, just purple and more zombie-looking I guess. I think the Unknown works for this idea since it really gives the appearance of a non-human entity wearing human skin to appear humanoid, and that's more of less what Ennard was doing with Michael's rotting corpse. Maybe facially it could look somewhat similar to Josh Hutcherson but that's a bit of a stretch.

Dwight - Nightguard Inspired Costume

Usually, with big video game licenses like this, one of DBD's original survivors gets a skin, typically either Dwight or Feng. While I could see Feng decked out in a Chica cosplay or something of that sort, that seems a bit too out there I guess. I think it would make more sense to see Dwight in a FNAF-inspired outfit, either based on the movie or the graphic novel's security guard design. Hell, maybe he'll just get a purple shirt or a shirt with a Fazbear design on it, idk.

The Map

So I know a lot of people want the map to just be based on one location. However, I personally have a different idea in mind. Similar to the Saw map, they could merge different locations together. If it's a one-for-one recreation of, let's say, Fazbear's Frights, we'd get another situation like RPD, where it's accurate to the original game but also not great for DBD's gameplay. Instead, I think it would be interesting to have rooms and locations based on all of the games. Maybe the office is the iconic FNAF 1 office, and then there's Pirate's Cove, but also the Puppet's music box is here, and there are some broken animatronics lying around that are from various different games. It would also make sense lore-wise since, in DBD, the maps are taken from the character's memories, so it would be like an amalgamation of Springtrap's memories, for example. It would be more interesting than trying to choose one of the iconic FNAF locations, and turning it into a DBD map.

Map Easter Eggs

Adding to my last point, whatever map they decide to go for should be similar to Midwich, RPD and Nostromo, in my opinion. Not structure-wise, but rather with the easter eggs. Midwich has girls crying in bathrooms, shaking bodies, bodies falling out of lockers, and RPD has zombies outside the windows and the save menu music playing in the safe room. Nostromo has the face-hugger in the window, Jonesy in the lockers, and the MU-TH-UR room, and if they added this level of love to the FNAF map, that would be amazing. Some ideas would be hearing the music box music near the Puppet's box (and maybe even the Puppet leaping up from the box), JJ under the office table sometimes, the audio of Chica in the kitchen playing behind the Kitchen door, the Cupcake wandering around and Shadow Freddy/Bonnie randomly appearing in the hallway but then disappearing when you turn around. Stuff like that.

Idk I really like how this sentence shook out it's info dense while still retaining an easy, readable flow. Also tips its hat on the kitbashing going on without being obvious so it'll be a fun thing to pick up upon a second or third read (I think)! Because I'm one of those annoying people who likes reading/writing things that require several passes to get the full picture.

Glimmer from Limits:

Either post was crafted to mimic the trees they were gored from, the arc of the back panel--branches that tangled and fused at its center. Wildlife roiled behind the broad leaves–[Ana] had spent hours while she was young sprawled out on the bed, tracing her fingertips across every twig-clutching talon and leaf-stem coiling mousetail. Pressing her fingers into the two ragged, unvarnished gashes that tore into the falcon roosted in the top right corner. To this day, she does not know what put those there–Kliment would never tell.

okay cheating this is a full passage not a single line, but I'm particularly proud of this description of Ana and Roman's headboard from the second chapter of Limits so full excerpt be upon ye! And yes the tenses are weird but Memorium can be like that sometimes (says the editor-less writer)

🎶 - I'm hugely reliant on music!! I create playlists for all my projects, and the majority of my music listening habits are more or less informed by whatever I'm writing/drafting on a particular day. All my playlists are in tatters because I'm in the middle of yet another spotify playlist overhaul but here's an ole reliable I recently updated for some Ana/Roman oneshots that will hopefully see the light of day eventually:

🤔 - I got two different answers! One more general and one more fic- specific. So two answers for the price of one! General: I've been writing since literally I was old enough to hold a pencil/sit at a keyboard. So I don't really have an answer outside of "well I also eat and sleep so yeah I write" it's just something I do whether I set out to do it or not. Even if I go years without publishing/posting/producing, I usually have several WIPs floating around for me to peck away at and manage sanity. Fan/Fic: Usually a good setting is enough for me to spin out fic! I don't typically write canon characters unless they become an Intense Blorbo where I feel like I have something to add to the greater blorbo-sphere. Currently I don't really have any of those outside of stray Sascha concept that I've got cooking out back. But yeah if I come across a setting that strikes me, OCs will just start spawning naturally so I write fic to wrangle those OCs.

⛔️ - If I'm writing canon characters for a specific fandom, I try to limit the number of "Big Names" in the piece bc nothing's more annoying that reading a fic tagged with a specific character only for said character to be around for three paragraphs as a contact/side mission. If there's a bit part to be played, give it to nameless rando 172 and if he grows a personality great! I now have a shiny new OC people can get to know! But like if you have a vamp fic and you need a Nos contact maybe give Mr. Tung a break he has enough going on in SoCal he doesn't need to be bothered with breadbasket intel unless he absolutely has to, give that job to a bright-eyed Nos upstart with a cool pet rat named Pichu and let that fun lil gal bounce off the Big Wigs in the fic. Makes the story more accessible to folks who are new to the fandom/lore as well as something new for the old heads if executed with care. Win-win! I hope!

In sight of my recent 6-year-old human question: How old is each species (Roughly/on average) when they're about as mature as a, IDK, 16 year old human? Also, what do you think would happen when Sovereign dies? Which of his countless kids (Not counting the rejects he banished) will become the new ruler of the AA Water Bois?

Question 2: Sovereign has hundreds of offspring, but has chosen a small handful of his most capable children to be his heirs, lackeys, and goons.

First in line for heir is his chadly son, Champion of Aquaria (nickname "Champ"). There will be more info about him and his family in an upcoming concept, but I can say a few things about him here.

Champ is the strongest, smartest, and most handsome of all Sovereign's offspring, which is why he was chosen to lead the Aquarian Alliance after his father's death. The pressure has been on this guy since his birth to be perfect in every way, as Sovereign holds him to an impossible standard. On the outside, Champ seems like a cool and confident guy. But on the inside, he's a hair away from a nervous breakdown at any given moment. His public persona is very different from the person he is in private.

In public, he projects a dignified and collected presence, as if he's ready to take on anything with the utmost professionalism. But as soon as he comes home and closes the door behind him, he's on the floor having a big, fat panic attack and crying for his mommy.

Champ is trying to stick it out and be the perfect scyllo his crazy father wants him to be, but is is certainly not easy. Sovereign is very hard on him, but also spoils him and parades him around with pride. Because truly, Champ does exceed expectations in almost everything he does...but it's not just luck, it's because he works his fucking ass off 24/7 to be the best. This dude grinds like a belt sander, day in, day out.

Champ's intense daily grind is not exactly sustainable though. There will probably come a day when he comes unglued and falls apart, mentally or physically--or both. And I'm willing to bet it will be at the worst possible moment too...
