Genuine question, because I've been struggling HARD on how to nail Afton in my own artstyle - how do you study with yer take of him? I know the sketches n whatnot, which are honestly inspiring to me, and of course studying Matthew Lillard would help - but you have such a specific flow that is incredibly charming to me.

How did you work/study in terms of yer anatomy & facial structure fer yer art? Whether it be Afton studies or yer older pieces like Markiplier! Ya got such a nice flow between 'cartoon' & 'realistic' that is genuinely scratching every part of my brain. /vpos /gen 🙏🏼🧡🧡

that's a good question 😂 if I draw something long enough, someday I'll get an enlightenment what I like + what looks good. the struggle is finding the right amount of details/ lines and keeping it balanced

well for example with Markiplier: my first studies were more realistic and had a lot of detail, which takes more time draw 😩

Went the more simplified route: - less details!!! keeping the lines at a minimum - round nose + face/chin - minimalistic beard - stylized hair (kinda like disney 2D characters)

biggest factor to make it more cartoony/ simpler was that I wanted to do animatics with him, so I had to go the "low poly" design route and make it easy to draw. tried to study what makes the face characteristic for the person. works more or less - sometimes I cannot get it right either :'DD So I said ♪ meet me halfway ♫ and tried to aim for the middle of these styles 😂

Same goes for William - my first drawing of him (for a shitpost animatic, left side) was a bit too complex, so I had to simplify it (right)

rafayel felt an agonizing amount of pain on his left knee, waking him up from his slumber. it wasn't unusual for him to feel discomfort there when walking, but he never had experienced this, it felt foreign.

his brain was spiraling with a million thoughts as he tried to make sense of this, fearing that the cause of this was her.

as quickly as he could, and in a very clumsy matter, he reached for his phone on the nightstand. 12:08, she should be at work. he didn't know if that relieved him or made him worry more.

then another...

the pain became stronger, as if needles were constantly stabbing it. moving it didnt seem to make any difference to the amount of pain, not what he usually experienced when he had bad knee days.

another ring...

a grunt could be heard on the other line

"kinda busy yel!" the familiar sound of her gun shooting was heard in the background

"did you hurt your left knee?!" he said frantically

"thats totally not an oddly specific and not a creepy thing to say out of nowhere" another gunshot "yeah i did- how do you... nevermind, can i call you back?"

"yeah, yeah for sure. just, please, stay safe"

the call disconnected, a deafening silence. rafayel took of his shirt and went to the bathroom mirror, the pain once again didnt seem to react to his movement, just a constant. the image of his reflection confirmed his theory, his bond mark glowing.

"ugh... fuck."

hours later, the sound of his number pad lock being unlocked drew him away from his thoughts, as a very agitated mc entered his home, throwing her bag onto the kitchen counter halfhazardly. he would coo at the domesticity of the action if it wasn't for the situation they were in.

"okay, what kinda lemurian bullshit did you pull?"

taken aback, rafayels eyes widened as he guided mc to the couch, raising her left leg onto the foot rest nearby, "i didnt do anything!"

"then how did you know? the wanderer had literally just attacked me when you called. which by the way, new rule. no more calling during work hours unless you're dying. just text me"

"it sure felt like i was dying" rafayel muttered, pouting.

"...huh"

"okay so remember how I told you that when lemurians bond our senses are focused on our partners?"

"yeah... your point?"

"i now feel the pain youre in, it woke me up"

"you were sleeping?"

"right, you're right. sorry just... deflecting, I guess? this is a lot. like, im in pain most of the time so this isn't good"

he thought for a while, trying to come up with a recent significant event of their relationship "could this be the first big injury you have since our trip to the dessert?"

"actually, yes. but ive been in pain before these days" rafayel looked at her sternly "we'll revesit that later, but i think i could've confused it with pain from my own stuff, like, my bad posture and other stuff"

"so what do we do? i can't just not get injured, it's part of the job, but i don't want to hurt you"

"clearly it only bothers me if its a very significant injury, which I really hope you don't get. I wont stop you from doing your job, we'll figure it out as we go, okay?" he geabbed her hands, a reassuring smile on his face. she looked back at him warmly "alright, get me some ice"

hiiii i have some word vomit to do about this so bear with me or stop reading

1- if you dont know what condition raf has, its been said to a lot of time in canon that he has a hard time running, walking, standing, his resting posture even shows that he puts more weight on his right leg. he is also going blind 🤓☝️. i want to explore him losing his senses and abilities due to this undiagnosed issue and starting to feel more from mc from the bond. it is said that his senses are now focused on her, this is probably not what infold meant.

2- lately ive been dealing with my own health issue, to get better i have to do stuff that cause me the same pain that my illness does so i dont take care of my self much which i know is bad in the long run. so yes i am projecting onto yel leave me alone 😔

3- i think this might be a series! i want to explore other senses, not necessarily angsty though!!!!! i love fluff. life is way too dreadful to not have a bit of wimsy writing about two fictional characters

this is my third attempt at trying to write my thoughts on episode 10 but theres simply to much on my mind that i end up staring at my keyboard not knowing how or where to start, what ss to use and whatnot so i'll just keep it short and vague ig lol

Personally i loved this episode. Do i have way more questions than before? YES. Am i even more confused about stuff? 1000%. Did i cry a little with lyca's sad heartbroken expression at the end and rui's traumatic reaper curse moment and i won't recover from those panels EVER again? 👍💔

And even though ed is one sketchy creepy weird mf, im SO CURIOUS about wtf is up with him???? Was he fr fr trying to turn mc into a vamp by using mind control?????????????? or was it like a "lets see if she has willpower to say no" cause my dude that was a WOAH moment..... holy shit ????? He might know neros???? what business does he have with towa??? why is he on EVERYONE'S business and seems to know everything already???? ngjfhdn *SLAMS HANDS ON TABLE* GIVE ME ANSWERS EDWARD HART ‼️‼️🫵🗣 and what does RUI know about ed?? what act should he drop??? that hes not senile and his health is perfectly fine???? that he might not be a ghou-[GUNSHOT] cmon boys dont be shy share your little secrets with the audience 🎤

Anyways, again, i really loved this episode. I think the "dont be too trusting" and "learning things the hard way" themes were perfect for this house. The turn of events was DEVASTATING yes, but i really like how it was also a reminder (both to mc and us readers) how shit can hit thr fan pretty quickly and that at the end of the day, these dudes ARE dangerous, even if they have good intentions </3 specially the "obscuary aren't humans" (fuck darkwick btw !!!), mc (and we, by default) see them as humans, interact with them as if they were humans, and dont understand why outside ppl would call them monsters etcetc, until mc is in a situation where she finally sees what those outsiders were seeing too and its like "oh. OH . shit thats scary yeah ,wow". AND THATS SO FUCKING SAD!!!!! CAUSE NOW ALL MY BOYS AND MC ARE TRAUMATIZED!!!!!! but i LOVE it???? its so complex???? now we'll see them deal with it???? we might learn even MORE information??? Hhhhgbn idk, cool stuff

Adventures at Max’s Delicessant!

1.

This town aint big enough for the both of us

It was a pretty normal day at the diner. All the fives were doing their usual daily activities, conversation was in the air, and food and drinks were being served in and out of the kitchen. Booth five was obviously in one of the booths, waiter five taking orders and serving, brisket five was well…brisketing you could call it, chef five was testing a new soup he was making, Drunk five was being well…drunk, Newspaper five was in one of the booths reading the newspaper and info dumping to loose neck tie five, Anxious five was off being anxious in one of the tables in the back staring off into space and fidgeting with his hands and trying not to listen to the theories theorist five was giving. Journalist five was at one of the tables in the front by the glass windows to get a better view of the whole diner so he could write in his journal.

Newspaper five: Hey loose neck tie five,did you know that scorpions have a mating dance? Isn’t interesting? They lock claws together and do this weird kinda like a ballroom dance i guess you could say. *Newspaper five smiled from behind the newspaper at loose neck tie five kind of waiting for a response to his interesting fact he told*

Loose neck tie five: *He looked at newspaper five with a look of disbelief as to why and where does he get this information* …

Newspaper five: what? *Newspaper five looked at his shirt* Do i got something on my shirt?

Just then the bell to the diner rung. Now usually the fives don’t really look up anymore at any of new fives that walk in. The only fives that usually look up and at the door is journalist five and booth five both for different reasons. Booth five looks up at the door and what he see’s is infact a version of himself but it’s a…cowboy version of himself? Thats really strange cause that means there’s a completely different universe with a completely different time period. They get different fives here all the time but not all of them are drastically different like this one. Most times its just something small like maybe an accent or a personality change quite like brisket five who is one of the kinder fives.

Booth five: Shit. *Booth five slowly rose from his booth in amazement at the odd spaghetti western version of himself*

This caught the attention of the other five’s within the diner. there eyes all holding different emotions whether it be ranging from shock, amazement or curiosity. On the other side cowboy five was wide eyed and freaked right the hell out. he looked around at the multi versions of himself panic rising and his hand on his gun in his holster Cowboy five: Now i reckon.... Waiter five: If he says what i think he will say im gonna quit on the spot. Loose neck tie five: Thats not possible idiot Waiter five: *looks at cowboy five* Please dont say it... Cowboy five: This here diner aint big enough for all of us. Multiple of the fives collectively groan and some even put there heads on the table in annoyance at the cliche they just heard and witnessed Booth five: Now lets all be nice he is one of us afterall. *booth five looks to cowboy five* Now im pretty sure it must be very confusing right now bu- Booth five didnt even get to finish as a gunshot was shot past him obvousily having been shot by cowboy five. Booth five goes into a panic and dives behind a booth. multiple of the fives dive under tables and behind counters as Cowboy five continues firing shots at them. Anxious five: *anxious five was under table curled in on himself with his knee's to his chest and his hands over his head* i-i just wanted a normal day! Brisket five see's anxious five under a table. he peeks at cowboy five from behind the counter and when cowboy five is distracted he quickly squats and runs to anxious five and taking him by the arms Brisket five: come on! you cant stay right here! Anxious five: n-no he will kill me i will get shot i- Brikset five: look at me anxious five! look at me! i wont let you get hit with any bullets. come on buddy lets go anxious five thinks a minute until he nods and follows brisket five out from under the table and to a safer spot behind the counter. meanwhile booth five is hidden behind a booth while waiter five is next to him trying to avoid the bullets whizzing by this crazy gunslinger Waiter five: what the hell is this guys problem?! Why is he basically trying to shoot himself?! Booth five: He is probably extremely confused! We all were when we first came here the only difference is this version has guns! Waiter five: So what do we do then?! A lot of us are getting hurt!!! Booth five: Im working on it! Waiter five: WORK FASTER!!! Booth five would like to smack the back of waiter fives head but right now was not great so for now he will tolerate it cause right now there was a much bigger issue shooting at them. Meanwhile journaling five was hidden in the corner behind a corner booth. he looked up at the choas with a mix of obvious worry for his fellow five's but also curisotiy. he took the journal in his hand opening it up and opening the pen cap with his teeth and writing in his journal about this new cowboy five with shaky hands from the adrenaline coursing through his body at the current situation. In various parts of he diner five's hid. some where shot and wounded but nothing to serious mostly arm or shoulder shots. back to booth and waiter. Waiter five: i have an idea what if i hit him with my metal servin tray?! Booth waiter: NO you will get shot at such a close range! Waiter five: what?! no i wont are you accusing me of being a shitty fighter?! Booth waiter: maybe i am! Waiter five: why you little- Booth and waiter ended up getting into a arguement over there fighting skills and what plan would work best. Suddenly gunshots stopped and only a click sound could be heard. booth's eyebrows furrowed and he peeked over the side of the booth at the cowboy five. cowboy five had lost all his bullets. booth and waiter looked at eachother and a silent converstaion happened between the two and they rushed cowboy five trying to pin him down Booth five: Get him down! get him down! Waiter five: Brisket come help us man! after reassuring anxious five that he will be back he came running on over to them and helped pin cowboy five down with much protest and kicking ~Timeskip~

After having wrestled a very annoyed cowboy five down they had put him a broom closet that wasnt used and locked it so he can cool down. The fives all helped patch eachpther up if they go shot in some sorta way. Brisket five had been dilligently helping by giving waters and chicken soup for them. Newspaper five came on over to booth five Newspaper five: So what exactly are we gonna do with the angry cowboy? Booth five: Well until he cools down we cant do shit but im working on it Newspaper five: yeah i guess your right but intil then im gonna ask theorist five if he ahs any ideas which more then likely he does but doesnt. newspaper five headed to theorist five and sat down at his table and started his chat. booth five sighed and looked to the door of the broom closet. he picked up his cup of shitty coffee Booth five: God what a shit show *He sipped his coffee*

he was put in a poster with all the important characters on it, going after jaune, who didnt even EXIST when he did and we didnt actually see him die. as jack said, "IT" was still "MOVING" during the LAST second of the ep 3 alternate ending. and so HOW did he surivive all those gunshots? well, hes in the cult. same one as bob, we ALL remember bob right? well what did bob do? he was able to be alive after "dying" and being shot a million times. SOUNDS FAMILIAR, HUH?

could i be wrong? OH DEFINITELY THIS IS VERY FAR-FETCHED and we havent even heard the fella's VOICE yet so they could be very different or even not even voice acted by the same person(pelo's known to do things like that when a character looks different but is the same character, VA'd by the same person. think dexter/dexfella) but at the same time we dont really know right now so im just throwing in my 2 cents here

as somebody whos played the world download, it isnt! it isnt finished! theres huge swaths of concrete powder just hidden in the walls. it LOOKS complete, but the towers are enormous mob traps and the walls are kind of a mess ngl

tbh like as somebody whos been watching grian since his first s6 episode it makes sense that he never finishes the back. other than evo he did a lot of creative builds, which dont need to be functional usually they just look good. like it was really interesting to watch him stumble around modern mc trying to figure out how things worked. his starter base was a glass bottle underwater for chrissake, which would be a nightmare to build with full gear anyway. and of course learning to fly with elytra, learning how to craft stuff, it was really interesting esp bc you cant tell a BIT today other than my theory that the unfinished backs are a holdover.

Martin being overwhelmed with so much to stop before elias can catch on and not noticing jon slowly fading in the background, only to throw himself back into the place he once stood to pull jon out of it

Elias being equal parts confused, overjoyed, and angry because 1. why are his archive staff suddenly acting so strange? why is tim about to strangle someone and why does martin have a blindspot on the beholding's view? 2. holy shit he practically got another archivist with martin's actions, always good to have a backup, and 3. what the hell is going on he might have to speed up his plan after all

and we cant forget Jon going from confused to likely quite afraid to Lonely, first having no clue whats gotten into his assistants, then being afraid of tim's open hostility, and then noticing how truly lonely he is and giving into it. Out of the assistants, i think it would be tim's hostility to make Jon realise he was alone; s1 tim was the kind of guy you couldn't easily get on the bad side of, so jon must've deserved it and thus should isolate to keep everyone safe from himself, whatever he did (like how he said he deserved his childhood bullying becuase he was 'annoying') (but hey, thats just a theory, a- [gunshot])

and then the eventual "wait, you guys know?" conversation the three get into, and start planning together instead of seperately, although tim still refuses to let anyone else take down the stranger and unknowing, his own health be damned (he survives, if in a 6-month-coma way)

Friday, September 30: Peeling Pleather and Broken Windows

        When my family moved out of our 2-bedroom apartment and into a 3-bedroom house, my mom decided it was time to change the sofas. I remember her purchasing a faux leather sofa and loveseat, which over the years began to peel. And being the person I am, I couldn’t just see the peeling pleather, but I had to peel it more. Silly, but when reading the broken windows theory, it was the first thing my mind went to. 

        Another thing that came up was how some people will see a full trash can and continue to throw trash on the top, which eventually ends up on the ground nearby. Connecting this with our conversation on Thursday, we had gotten to a point that I wish we could’ve spent more time on (my fault though for not contributing LMAO) about experiences with social order and disorder. In my grandma’s neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Dolton was once a “nice suburban area” that has now turned into an informal “suburban ghetto.”  This is just code for a lot of what they would call “inner-city” people moving into the neighborhood, which is assumed to bring crime and violence to the area. I think that a lot of the time when we view Black, low-income neighborhoods,  we view them like a trashcan already full. It is a “lost cause” like how we see so many street trash cans full of trash for weeks or months at a time. Having spent most of my youth in Dolton (my mom was at work during the day and attended night school at night, while my father worked the overnight shift in a factory), I don’t actually recall much violence or crime. Outside of the news reports, I had never heard gunshots or seen blood on the streets.         

         I say all of that to say that I think there are some discrepancies in terms of the perceived/reported social disorder in comparison to the actual disorder. That doesn’t mean that gang and gun violence isn’t a thing, but rather that it has more nuances to it compared to how it is typically discussed. I could go on about the intricacies of rap beef and Gangster Disciples, but that's pretty off-topic. I think to an outsider, Chicago, and the surrounding areas, are just a huge gangland. And while there are definitely some parts that need work, there is culture in every part which I think positively impacts social order. But I feel like I’m just rambling to thats all for this week.

What it comes down to, really, is that Five had been too eager for results. Once it became clear to him that there was a connection between his powers and his energy level the obvious course of action, as he saw it, was to test this information. The hypothesis was this: higher energy levels = stronger powers and the easiest way to get more energy is to eat more. Pretty simple stuff. Too simple.

or Five times that Five starves himself and one time that he gets called out on it.

9.  Number Five The Monster Under The Bed by Kraeyola, T, 5460 words

It's easy to forget sometimes when you look at Five; small lanky body, little boy-scout shorts, and a perfectly pristine uniform. A smooth youthful face that's always wearing a too-serious expression for someone (supposedly) so young. Not that the siblings don't respect Five as an equal, it's just... well. It's hard to take him so seriously. Especially when he gets mad and makes such an adorable pouty face.

It's why they find it so difficult to deal with reconciling Five to the boy they (thought they) knew, to the boy they're seeing standing right in front of them. But you can't really blame them, can you?

After all, it's hard to believe things without witnessing them first hand.

Ok so there's a theory that Jensen... misunderstood the timezones.

Ok anyway since I'm here I want to say that Gunshots absolutely doesn't have to post this but I want to give you my take on the opening ceremony situation. J2 stans are going to give us hell for this since it seemed Jensen and Misha didn't realize some things about each other but I think it was something different - I think it was the thing that Rose herself once pointed out about how they like to pretend not to know some things about each other to seem more... distant. The same goes for having not seen each other for a year which could be true but I liked our theory that they actually did. And from what I've heard about that opening (I couldn't see it myself unfortunately) it could be it.

Also a city thing could go for Misha moving a lot, we don't know how often he does that.

But also (bear with me) could be them having their downs during pandemic but I really think they're going to get through it or get it all back.

Also that comment about going grey seems really really inch resting. We've had that. We've had them bein flirty today. We've had Cockles posting at suspicious times. We've had them using the exact wording. We've had them right now wanting to see each other and looking really happy. We've had an interesting reaction about that city thing. We've had Jensen coming to GISH and being an assignment AGAIN, and I don't think Mish would pull this off if they lost touch. We've had them support each other on social media. We've had "Mish. Dee.". We've had an anniversary and I have doubts if they would do that if they felt fallout coming. It all will come together. Trust me. I think we're okay.

The more I think about the Cockles panel from yesterday, the more I love it. We got 25min of their small talk and being cute to each other. I have been blessed, my crops have been watered etc.
