So basically, Marchivist (Martin Archivist) AU. I haven't seen anyone do this yet, so I'm throwing my hat into the ring! I drew this up after being extremely autistic about the AU on discord for a day.

I've got: Jon and Martin swap positions at the Institute. Tim and Sasha swap (We get Not!Tim in this AU!) Melanie and Georgie swap, Basira and Daisy swap, Peter and Elias swap. Gertrude and Jurgen Leitner swap.

The Eye is blue, The Lonely is green... Martin is the Archivist, marked by The Dark in childhood and then The Eye. Peter Lukas's body was stolen by Jonah Magnus... still working out all the details of this thing. But it's cool, and I like it!

MARTIN AND JON MEET ASMR

 And then, after a moment of staring, a look of uncertainty crosses the creature’s face, and it speaks. “...Jonah?” It shifts upright further, but reaches for its slightly out of place garment, deliberately pulling it back up over its shoulder. The move is at odds with the soft way its looking at him. Martin can only manage a very small head shake. No, he’s not… whoever this angel thought he was. It blinks, and then breathes out a soft “Oh.” Its expression morphing from wary confusion to something…different he can’t decipher at a glance.

Martin doesn’t understand what’s going on, but his tongue is free at last. So  he clears his throat and then very intelligently responds, lifting a hand to give a little wave. “H-Hi.” He meant to say ‘Hi, what the fuck is going on?’ but his tongue stopped working as soon as it had started, especially because the angel is looking at him. It studies him like he’s a particularly difficult problem that needs solving and then lets out a soft huff. “Georgian.” It says, getting to its feet. Its shorter than he is, and Martin isn’t sure why he notices that fact at all, but he does. 

This time Martin’s feeling a little more anchored, as anchored as one can be in this situation. He tries again. “I-I’m sorry, what?” Whatever he’s expecting the angel to do next, it’s not blush. 

“The - The tunnels.” It turns its head away, almost flustered. “They were made in the Georgian period?”

Martin blinks at him, completely taken back. “Um…”

The angel blinks back, then grimaces. “I -I’m sorry, I thought - I thought I’d be better at this.” And then… he laughs. Martin’s breath trembles in his chest at the sound. Its so.. Melodic. 

“I don’t mean to be rude,” he begins, choosing his words carefully, just in case the angel is easily offended. “But better at what?”

“Ah,” He says and looks away. Was - does he look bashful? “Finally meeting you, actually. I’ve… I’ve waited a long time to see you.” When the angel meets Martin’s eyes this time and smiles, Martin feels that vertigo again, but this time for a different reason. The angel’s eyes are full, overfull, even - with love. “Hello, Martin. I’ve missed you.”

Possibly one of my favorite niche little things TMA fans do on TikTok is literally flock to posts that are so insanely aligned with fears but SOMEHOW UNRELATED and just. Harass the poster. Like the woman with an emotional support wasp hive. People commented “does the hive sing to you?” ENOUGH TIMES THAT SHE LITERALLY MADE A POST MENTIONING IT. and I just saw a post about a guy saying he needs to dig and everyone was like “is there dig on every page?” God I love this fandom
