Today's work is special, as it's a gift for @niinnyu! This is an adaptation of their comic found here. Please give it a look; it's so sweet, and their art is wonderful!

Megumi's mouth opens, then shuts. He doesn't respond immediately. Instead, he looks Yuji over— every broad and leathery scar, all the smaller lines of marred pink skin; how his nose sits crookedly now in a way it hadn't seven months ago; the way his smile puts little dips into his cheeks; the glittering of his eyes; how his face and ears have gotten red from the cold. Megumi is keenly aware of his heart beating heavily in his chest, of his blood moving with every pulse.

Megumi and Yuji talk and expel some thoughts on guilt.
