#jung eun chae #the guest #kang gil young #sohn: the guest #episode 7 #I love the fact of how open and frank KGY is with regards to her feelings/emotions and thoughts #one of many reasons I love her #also how straightforward the show is #few emotional beats were left unanswered #the show’s emotional simplicity is one of the main reasons I love it #there are emotional depths to be plumbed #but the major points were all addressed by the show #and I have lived with my headcanons for so long that I sometimes feel a bit weird reading others’ fics #not that there are all that many with KGY which does not include my NOTP (which I avoid)#but by now I can’t really see KGY as someone who is reticent or prone to emotional wish-washiness #especially post-canon #am sure she is insecure in some ways #she mentioned it outright #but other people wrote so beautifully that YES #love all those stories/fics and interpretations regardless of how I feel about them personally #likely it is just that am so old and no longer questioning myself that much I don’t remember insecurities all that much #especially on things that can’t be helped #all said I really want to read more fics focusing on KGY #wish better writers than me would write her 🙏🏽#but like most fandoms #many preferred the MCs 😭#and TG ‘fandom’ is nowhere large enough to have more than one or two writers interested in KGY 😔

in my humble opinion, minecraft has plenty of material to make a movie out of, it just has to be an artistic movie that is damn near silent all the time. also animated

like imagine a man wakes up alone not remembering who he is, he’s scared but ultimately finds a way to live, getting a dog, building a farm etc. one day while exploring he finds that he’s not the only person alive, he finds alex who’s been living with villagers.

imagine the movie deals with themes of mortality and immortality and being higher level beings. why are steve and alex different from villagers and pillagers? why are there lost civilizations? and what’s with the other dimensions? who were these old beings? are they one of them?

it could be a beautiful movie about purpose and how to live. especially with that end poem. the take away is you make you’re own meaning. or something like that

but no. we have jack black building blocks and shit.
