i have some more ideas in mind of them that i will hopefully get to get around drawing

maybe wrangling this new pen for pages and pages is what finally gets me to finish this sketchbook
#art#ink#sketch#i got a pen with a supposed flex nib and it's nothing like a flexy dip pen nib#i think ive got it working smoothly now. im accepting the lack of line variation haha#i hope it will work okay with the waterproof black ink ive got at home (platinum carbon black) but we will See#ive almost used up the entire ink sample i got with this gjslbfkd#anyway ive had this sketchbook since 2018 which is bonkers#up to that point ive filled up probably 30-40 sketchbooks total#but this one i got as a gift and it's like. big hardcover chonky boy#really good quality!!!!!!#and i think i started using it and then filled out a different sketchbook before coming back to it#and it's also around that time when i was done with university and didn't have much Sketch Time as before which is sad#combined with the fact that it's big and heavy and i do not bring it everywhere#it's slow going!!!!! there's so much doodles in it but ive still got like a quarter left of it??? maybe a fifth#but now i have like eight pages of fountain pen wrangling hahaha#i should add that any Thin Lines are not because this pen flexing but me drawing with the nib upside down#for extra fine lines u_u

Does anyone else suffer from the disbelief that they are their age?
#I either feel 40 or 17. no in between#I can’t believe I’m in my twenties and some do my friends are getting masters#but more power to them!#or perhaps it is the relative freedom from not feeling bound to an arbitrary timeline and having the space to mentally breathe and explore#that I miss#but once you leave the structure of education (either after graduating from whatever is secondary school at your country/dropping out or#post grad education. things get weird#I’m realizing that some people (attempt to) follow these arbitrary timelines because they want to get married and (maybe) have kids#but….i don’t want that. which is quite freeing#I used to be of the ‘dating for marriage’ mindset but not now#idk it seems like a lot to look for someone who ticks all your romantic checkboxes and also ltr checkboxes#and kids are expensive so not having them is very financially freeing#and just…time freeing I guess#I think generally I’m not a very social person. and I don’t really start itching for socializing unless I’m literally isolated (like I was#literally yesterday)#and a lot of things I like to do I tend to do solo#like lifting. for me to get to my physique goals I’ll practically be in the gym almost everyday for ~2 hrs. and yeah I don’t *need* to be#that extra but I have that choice to decide whether to overtrain my body or crank out overtime or be in my routine executive dysfunction#spirals (ok that’s not really a choice but still)#and I need time to decide on which hobby to ditch and bounce from each time haha#basically I don’t think I’m ltr material. and that’s ok. im just out here enjoying my life#once you’re out of an educational structure (idk abt yall in academia) you can choose whether to follow a set path. and maybe that’s what#you want idk. but you should also examine whyyy you want the thing. do you want to get married to a man and have kids because YOU want that#or because everyone else is doing it? and you don’t want to stand out or feel like your failing in life. meanwhile you might not even like#men or hate prenthood.#imma end it here I have things scheduled (yay) and I need to shower#uchiha-gaeshi ramblings#uchiha-gaeshi overshares#life#txt

#akoya gero#gero akoya#cute high earth defense club love#binan koukou chikyuu bouei bu love!#boueibu#my art#my akoya wanted to join in the vintage dress-up party too!! \;;w;;/#ognvuhgh i wanted to have this done earlier bc other people were doing art so fast for the new outfits but it got dragged out#it was Mostly done a few days ago and i made final edits and was going to post it just before i rushed out to work#i put it up then i was like '??? wait there's a color blob in the wrong place i thought i fixed that???'#i was down to my last minute and didn't have time to do it so i was like auuuughhgh and took the whole thing down#on the Next day i opened the file again to see what was wrong and the color blob was NOT THERE#so im like ??? why did it suddenly appear again in the png. so i looked and i made an error in naming my files#i accidentally named one of the versions 30 instead of 03 so it sorted into the last place instead of the actual most recent version (07)#so that is the reason i ended up being 1 minute late to work. and the lesson to me is i should not try to post at the absolute last minute#(i say this but if i don't get smth done i can't stop thinking about it. it bothers me constantly to have something almost finished but not#(and then it's difficult for me to focus on other tasks so this is why i feel like i have to just get it done before i switch tasks)#anyway i wasn't totally sure what era the traditional outfits are supposed to be from. im not knowledgeable about fashion actually T.T#i googled 'when were suspenders popular' and ended up just looking at old photos and clothing patterns from the 30s-40s#photos from back then were black-and-white can you believe it.. you have to actually look at drawings and paintings to find color#everyone who left me messages elsewhere: THANK YOU SO MUCH!! \>/////</ i will reply soon!! \;;W;;/
