Im just picturing a "the buts match" type scenario but its just Gothamites churning out hypotheses about why Timothy Drake "celebrity phenomenon" and Red Robin "knock your lights out" both have such jaw dropping nails.

One theory is that they go to the same nail tech. Cue a thousand and one memes from every diva in gotham joking about needing to hound Drake and find out where he goes for his nails because clearly his tech is a deity amongst men. For a month or three every beauty inclined gotham resident has a username that reads DrakesNailTech or RedRobinSalon, people joke that when fear gas made them see heaven the name of Drake's polish brand was standing equal to pearly gates.

Then accounts begin to claim that Red Robin paints his own nails. That they saw him sitting on the edge of a roof somehow focused on each stroke while maintaining perfect vigilance for any notion of crime. This is further supported when Criminals whose sentences have ended claim that Red Robin knocked them flat whilst carefully not smudging the wet polish of his nails.

So Red Robin is the nail tech. That means he does Drake's nails.

Interview after interview, until Tim can no longer politely laugh it off like a joke. So finally he makes a show of sighing theatrically, he winks and taps his perfectly done nails- a green so precious and vibrant that there must be something magical about his polish- and answers.

"Mr Clark, you know how it is, talent is so hard to come by. And in a place such as Gotham anonymity is the only way to keep such talent alive! My mysterious nail tech is one secret that I'll take to my grave. Speaking of graves, Wayne enterprises has begun a plan to rework the Gotham funeral industry to accommodate for the lower income in the city,"

Clark just nods along, looking vaguely ill.

Tim Drake: Vigilante by Night, Nail Artist by… Also Night?

You wouldn’t think it at first glance, but Tim Drake has the best nails in the Batfamily. Not just “good for a guy who punches people at night”—no, immaculate. We’re talking glossy top coats, intricate designs, and cuticles so well-maintained they could make a spa technician weep.

No one really knows when it started. Maybe it was stress relief, maybe it was an exercise in precision, or maybe Tim just realized his hands looked too rough after long nights on patrol and decided, why not?

Tim, blowing on his fresh polish: “Yeah. Took me two hours.”

Bruce decides he has not, in fact, heard of it. Leaves.

Wonder Woman notices during a debrief. “Timothy, your nails are beautiful.”

Tim, beaming: “Thanks. This week’s theme is constellations.”

Hal Jordan, muttering: “How does he fight crime with those?”

And don’t even get the batfam started on the glow-in-the-dark polish he wears on patrol. Steph still brings up the time Tim knocked out a thug, and the guy’s last words before unconsciousness were: “Are those… holographic?”

Tim Drake: world’s most sleep-deprived detective, but you’ll never catch him with chipped nails or uncut cuticles.

the Billy Joel hyperfixation is so strong that I spent all morning transcribing lyrics from his live performances so that they'd show up on spotify and ??????? musixmatch is LITERALLY UNUSABLE

it makes you go through all these hurdles only to tell you you can't fix the problem you want to fix. there's duplicate pages and then lyrics get saved under different songs that they were transcribed on, and it's so nitpicky - it'll tell you something's wrong with the lyrics but it won't highlight what!! It's so counterproductive that it's so hard to fix lyrics because then you get things like this:

like why can't I change the fact that it says that Ray Charles performed all of Billy Joel's songs. they had ONE collaboration. why is Billy's header picture Ray Charles?? Why is Ray Charles featured more prominently on his profile picture??? Why is he with Ray Charles in the first place????

and it's not like Billy Joel is a small artist, which I'd forgive because there's less people checking their pages, but like. it's BILLY JOEL. His name is synonymous with "Piano Man" and they couldn't even get that right.
