#19.3 Unravel
It had been some time since Agni felt this nervous. Not even talking with Jinsung Ha recently had made him feel like this. He fiddled with the mask on his hand as he waited for Grace to come back. He had thought hard on how to deliver the news, but he knew that no matter how he phrased it, Grace would be upset. Velt nuzzled under his palm and Agni gave her a few pats, before deciding that she would be better inside her bowl in his lighthouse, just in case the shinsu acted up around Grace after he received the news.
Grace came back wearing the comfiest shirt and shorts Agni knew Grace liked to wear on lazy days. He joined him on the floor, and they ate dinner together. Agni always finished last, so while waiting for him to finish his meal, Grace told him about his day with Bam. Grace was intrigued by how much his way of thinking had changed, and how glad he was to be able to be by Bam's side when he was having a bad day. It reminded Agni of the hidden floor, when Grace faced his sworn enemy.
They left the used bowls on the coffee table and went to brush their teeth. Afterwards, they turned off the light and went upstairs to sit on their bed. Grace's curious gaze never left him, and Agni curled his feet nervously.
Grace was the one who broke the silence. "Soā¦what is it?"
Agni's breath hitched. This was the part he dreaded most. "I talked with the crocodile earlier. Did you know that he could manipulate stone already?"
"Huh." Grace needed a few seconds to let the information sink in. "Didn't Rak learn it on the Hell train? How does he know it?"
"Turns out our crocodile also traveled back to the past like us. He found the young crocodile and taught him."
"What?!" Grace gasped, wide eyed. "That means our Rak isā!!"
"He's dead." Agni quickly snuffed out that hope. They had been in delusion for long enough; it was time that they faced the bitter truth. "He suffered a fatal injury from the explosion. He couldn't have lasted long without proper help." Agni omitted the actual cause for Rak's death, but still kept his words true. "I'm sorry."
"ļæ½ļæ½Oh." Grace looked lost, just like Agni was. His lips parted a little, but they closed before any sound escaped.
Agni gently squeezed Grace's hand, encouraging and comforting as he let the silence stretch on, giving Grace some time to process the information.
"Agniā¦" Grace whispered, "do you think Hatz and Isuā¦?"
Agni bit his lip and avoided his gaze, as the nightmare of that day replayed in his mind. He witnessed Hatz get his arm ripped off when trying to protect him. He could still recall the clang of a sword hitting the floor, and Hatz's suppressed scream that gnawed deep at his guilt. He witnessed Isu get beheaded after being taken hostage, the memory of warm blood painting them both still vivid like it happened yesterday.
Agni refused to acknowledge their possible deaths, because it felt like a nightmare that one day he could hopefully wake up from. He avoided the topic when Grace brought it up, so he wouldn't have to say it aloud and make it real. He had been so hard on himself, because he couldn't get rid of the feeling that he had failed Grace and everyone else involved.
Agni knew this had to change if he wanted to live better, now that they had gotten a second chance. So he swallowed down the lump in his throat that had built up over the years and asked mostly to himself; "What are the odds of their survival?"
"There's always a chanceā"
"Grace." Agni looked him straight in the eye. "They were already severely injured before the explosion hit."
Grace fell silent and went still.
Agni felt a pang of guilt upon witnessing Grace's reaction. "Sorry. I didn't mean to snap." Agni fiddled with his hands. He realized that he didn't know how much Grace knew of what happened. "My scarā¦do you know how I got it?"
"Iā¦was told it was from the family heads' battle." Grace looked thoughtful. Agni knew he was trying to be careful with his words. "A stray attack?"
"It could have been worse." The memory of the scorching heat on his skin felt like it had only happened yesterday. He passed out right when he was about to heal Isu, and only found out later that he also lost sweetfish at that time. The days he spent recovering from the burn, to withstand the excruciating pain every second he was conscious, and finally coming to terms that it'd be a permanent scar, was one of the turning points that had changed him forever. Were Grace not there to care for him, he might have ended up destroying himself even more.
Agni hadn't realized he had his left hand clawing on his cheek until Grace pried his hand off and frowned, "You're doing it again."
"Maybe I should wear the maskā¦" Agni muttered to himself. After all, Grace gave it to him less so he could hide the scar but more to prevent him from unconsciously hurting himself. The only time he could safely take it off was when Grace was around.
Agni bit his lip nervously when Grace didn't reply. He no longer had the courage to look Grace in the eye that spoke so much concern, so he leaned close and rested his head on Grace's chest. "Rak, Isu, Hatz and Hwaryun were trying to get me out of that damned place. But we were caught while escaping, andā¦it was a bloodbath. I wasā¦too occupied to react to the incoming heat. Rak shielded us from the explosion. And when I woke upā¦"
"They werenāt with you," Grace finished it for him after Agni trailed off a moment too long.
Agni nodded dazedly, "I've been telling myself that they're still alive, after a blow that could kill rankers. Butā¦who am I kidding? I was lucky enough to survive with just this littleā" Agni vaguely pointed to himselfā "inconvenience."
Agni felt a hand gripping his arm, and he pulled away to see Grace looking at him with a pained expression. His eyes were glossy and his lips were pulled into a thin line. Trusting his instinct, Agni reached out to gently trace and cup Grace's cheek with his free hand.
"I'm sorry," Agni muttered. "I'm sorry, for not telling you sooner."
Agni silently witnessed tears that streamed down on his love's face. It was a bitter sight that Agni wished he'd never have to see again, that he had tried to avoid for so long by not telling him. He pulled Grace in and held him close to his chest, as if Agni was trying to gather his own crumbled heart back together.

Grace mumbled their late best friends' names as he held onto him tighter, shaking from each breath he took between sniffles.
Agni felt his own eyes sting with unshed tears. He remembered the years he spent climbing the tower together with his old team. Despite their banter being his source of headaches, Agni knew he too had come to acknowledge them as his cherished friends. Only when they were gone did Agni realize how much he'd miss having them around. Seeing the younger them didn't exactly close the gaping hole in his heart, but at least the emptiness was more filled.
Agni squeezed Grace tighter. "We have their younger selves with us now. We will protect them better this time."
Grace only nodded and sank further into his embrace. And Agni planted kisses on his hair, relishing the thought that after everything he had gone through, Grace was still a constant in his life. As long as he had him, everything would be okay.
When Grace started shaking again, Agni caressed his hair and hummed a comfort song they had known by heart. Still, it didn't make falling asleep any easier for Agni, especially not after admitting that his nightmare was very much real. However, as he had been through griefā¦this, too, would pass.

regarding my last post, which discusses the possibility of a current ancient falling to beastliness -
my "prediction" is that in the shadow milk / anniversary update, pure vanilla will NOT awaken, and will instead crack under the pressure. this will result in either him falling into despair (complete with a costume representing that state), or, at the very least, simply going home Changed, and not exactly for the better
there's a few reasons why i think this is a possibility:
it's an anniversary update and the stakes are high. getting more of what happened last time- ancient awakens and Good Triumphs Over Evil - isn't going to fly. it'd fall pretty flat, actually
the decision to awaken pv NOW would feel... misplaced? the ideal time for him to awaken is second to last, with wl going last
last time we saw him, we know shadow did not yet have a body. and given his special abilities compared to the other beasts, he's probably in the least of a rush to get one - he's powerful enough on his own. Plus, I think he can have a Lot of Fun with nilly even without one :) so no body = cannot get his ass beat, at least not physically
many people have pointed it out before: the avatar of destiny has quite a bit in common designwise with pure vanilla. and while it might be a glimpse at an alternate timeline or at a what-if situation, it may also be foreshadowing? unless it's nothing haha
as I said in my last post, enchantress IS an ancient who fell to beastliness. it's not impossible! if white lily can, in shock and grief and desperation, split into both beast and ancient, who's to say her closest friend, one she shared so much with, one she'd much in common with, one who felt he could have prevented all of this, would also not be able to find himself in such a situation - especially if pushed there by someone who knows all the right buttons to press?
best of all, a corrupted / fallen / despairing pv is an amazing candidate to bring back to the light. it would not be anywhere near as hard as it will be with enchantress, and yet it means that she is a candidate for being redeemed. as are the Actual beasts, by extension
as someone i know has pointed out to me, a wizard tower complete with mind games and stair sequences is NOT the place for a Grand Showdown. it's more of an exposition setting. from what we've seen with the art preview, pv is likely alone (hopefully he didn't bring those damn kids again, fuck them kids) and is likely looking to either glean information about sm at his old hq, or is actively looking to find and talk to sm in hopes of reasoning or bargaining ... and this could catastrophically backfire. The best that can happen is just that pv learns Something or Another from this, the worst is ... well, C: What's The Worst That Can Happen? It's Just A Little Hater Clown ............... Hee Hee
The only questions left, are how exactly this could happen. But that's what the story's for !! or what this would mean for gacha of fate? we'll DEFINITELY get a pv buff, at the least.
Either way, I Sure Hope Something Interesting Happens!!! squishes those guys together . puts them all alone in an empty room . pokes them both with sticks

A concept romantic for Lucifer from Hazbin Hotel?
For the king of hell in this universe... He isn't the most intimidating yandere.
Yandere! Lucifer Morningstar Concept
(Hazbin Hotel)
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Clingy behavior, Fear of abandonment, Possessive behavior, Isolation, Kidnapping, Denial, Forced relationship.
Lucifer, despite being the King of Hell in this universe, isn't the worst yandere here.
That's surprising to say considering his name and title.
I can't tell if he's someone fast to obsess or not.
Lucifer no doubt clings to an obsession if they give him some sort of attention...
Although I also think he'd be in denial of his attraction to you.
Lucifer seems like he still isn't over Lilith, shown by the fact he still wears his ring.
He's spent a long time cooped up in his castle just making rubber ducks in an attempt to cope with his depression.
So him actually speaking to someone new is rather... awkward at first.
Perhaps in his concept you work with Charlie in some way.
Maybe you're a Sinner who wants to be redeemed or just wants to help Charlie?
You meet Lucifer when he's called to visit the hotel and he immediately surprises you.
Humans seem to make him seem more intimidating, yet here he is... a socially awkward, theatric, and short king.
It's a bit baffling, but you manage to remain respectful.
Lucifer first encountering his obsession is a bit... strange.
He is simultaneously grandiose and insecure at the same time.
It's a weird combination, especially if he finds you attractive.
He's surprisingly stuttering, following over his words with awkward smiles.
There's times he awkwardly side-eyes his daughter, hoping he isn't making a fool of himself in front of you.
He's awkward around you for a number of reasons.
But you could argue your appearance or personality makes him distracted at first.
His obsession no doubt takes place in an AU after the death of Adam.
This would give him enough time to get to know you since his obsession is slow.
Lucifer is rather conflicted at his newly developing feelings.
After all, he keeps looking down at the ring on his finger...
Plus, well, what would Charlie think?
It would be a betrayal to Lilith and his daughter if he had feelings for you, right?
This would be one of the reasons he's reluctant to act on anything.
However... You do not make it easy on him.
On purpose? Not at all....
Unfortunately, you just being you has him hooked.
Even more so if you try to follow in Charlie's footsteps and comfort him.
Ironically for a Sinner... You're good company.
Makes him wonder what you did that made you stained enough to get sent down here....
In terms of his general yandere behavior, Lucifer is charming and loud, he's prideful as that's his Sin.
Ironically in this universe he's also a bit insecure, needing his obsession to feed his ego.
He's almost scared to love again.
He worries if he does, he'll be punished in some way like when Lilith left and took Charlie.
It makes sense Lucifer would be charming or seductive based on his charismatic nature....
But sometimes it seems like a front?
Lucifer would probably use his obsession as a way to cope more than his ducks eventually.
He doesn't like to think of the fact he's falling in love again... yet he can't deny it forever.
So... He tries to keep it subtle.
Lucifer ends up at the new hotel more often, claiming it's to watch Charlie and keep an eye on Alastor.
However, that isn't the only reason.
Lucifer is also keeping an eye on you.
Watching you makes his heart flutter and it... feels so familiar.
Lucifer still struggles to part with his ring, but alone at night he tries his best.
His obsession takes time... but it coaxes him into getting over his grief.
Lilith isn't coming back for him....
All he has is his daughter... and...
You.
You just know soon he's going to give in and start trying to charm you.
He'll deal with the consequences later... His whole life has consequences....
Lucifer doesn't want to be alone anymore.
It's at this point he gives up his denial... and accepts the fact he needs you.
It's small, like asking how you are or giving playful comments.
But playful comments and flirting soon escalate to Lucifer venting at you... and eventually clinging to you since you're the only one who comforts him and gives attention.
Once he gets over his guilt, you are his coping mechanism.
At first he claims it's just because you're friends through Charlie.
Yet then he's flirting with you, offering to give you anything you want for your attention.
In a way I can see him spoiling his obsession since, y'know, King of Hell.
It's a similar situation to Vox, except Vox has his obsession under much higher security.
Lucifer is highly manipulative, even trying to come up with reasons for you to come with him to his home.
He's a lonely man who clings to the first person who pays attention to him....
You try to talk him out of things or decline offers...
Only for him to guilt you into listening.
Lucifer is a selfish king, although that might've been obvious.
He may even ask you to date him in secret.
Charlie doesn't need to know... but he needs the company.
Lucifer is more likely to trap and isolate you than kill anyone.
Demons are his citizens, after all.
Instead he seems like he'd lure you to his castle for a chat, no doubt another vent session.
Only for him to lock the doors... begging you not to leave him.
For a supposedly prideful king, Lucifer seems rather vulnerable around you.
He seems like he'd cling to your legs, begging you to be his with tears in his eyes.
While he can sometimes act like a possessive animal around others, like Alastor, usually he's always searching for praise from you.
He wants you to love him, to focus on him.
He'll do anything for you to just accept him.
He spoils you with gifts, outfits, essentially pampers you like his little doll for comfort.
He'd probably even force his obsession to cuddle him so he can feel cared for.
You wanna bet he's a little spoon?
Despite Lucifer being prideful and boisterous around most other demons.
With you? Submissive.
Lucifer probably wouldn't keep you in chains.
He may get away with locking you in his castle, but he wants you to be able to roam.
So you hopefully won't need to be locked in one room.
Lucifer is willing to do anything to experience love again.
Be it bribery or imprisonment... He needs you to love him...
One way or another you WILL love him... Hopefully....

Busy days give cute ideas-
Since the Hotel was rebuilt, Lucifer has stepped up and has started doing Kingly things again. Talking to the Sins- helping them sort out arguments basically- but also helping Charlie brainstorm ideas for bringing in Sinners and activities.
He forgot how busy being a King made him-
Then Reader, a Sinner that came after the Extermination because they saw the King Himself saying to try redemption -plus free room!- grabs him one day without warning, and throws him into bed. Just full on waits on his every need, watches a movie he hasn't seen before but does like, makes lunch and dinner for him, plays card games-
They do everything Lucifer has been seen enjoying. And Reader remembered? He barely spoke to them, but here they are. Being kind to him.
Basically a full day of reasons why he deserves a break, Lilith wasn't anywhere near as caring as he falsely remembered, and that he REALLY needs to get to know Reader now-
Lazy Dayz in a Dreamy Haze
TW: Overworking, relationship issues, sad feelings
(I am almost positive I made this completely gender ambiguous. Please tell me if I missed something or gendered the reader at all!)
Your fall from grace wasn't anything to really write home about. You were a grade-A lazy person in your mortal life, and that inevitably led to your less-than-amazing death. You could sleep wherever and whenever, find the best binge-worthy shows, and overall, you know how to relax for a good time.
You were a little confused when you saw Charlie's original broadcast for the hotel. How could you ever be redeemed when your sin is just simply enjoying your free time? This seemed like too high a task for a mere princess to accomplish, not to mention that once word got out that the Radio Demon was helping her, it was even more of a put-off.
You followed the story, though; Kattie Killjoy documented it every time something happened in Charlie's unsuspecting life. You also were one of the lucky few to witness the downfall of Voxās pride due to the Radio Demon.
When the extermination got pushed up to only a couple of days away, you had even more doubts about this redemption policy the princess wanted. When the broadcast showed Lucifer there, ready to strike down, the angels soon to torment more than just the hotel if they didnāt win; something moved in you.
The following day, you packed up your small things and made your way across the city to the hotel. You didn't expect much when you joined the Hazbin Hotel. You saw that the king endorsed it, and if the king said it was cool, then why not? You didnāt reasonably expect your whole life to change, though.
Not only did you gain a little family of friends, but you also got free room and board so long as you completed Charlie's exercises and you got to see him. Lucifer Morningstar was a pragmatic character in the grand scheme of things. Where his daughter had illusions of grandeur, he was there to make things happen and make things work. Doing this, however, cost him what looked like a great deal.
Lucfier worked day in and day out. Even though you lived in the same hotel as him, you hardly saw him not doing something for Charlie or one of the other inhabitants. Seeing someone doing so much to make a dream come true and not take care of his own was sad. Maybe this was when the first inklings of your feelings for the king kicked in.
Growing close to the others in the hotel, you eventually learn all about Lucifer's problems in his past, from harboring poor feelings towards his fellow angels to having to deal with losing Lilith and his daughter. Luckily, he and Charlie rekindled some of their relationship, but it was clear Lucifer worked himself to death to avoid thinking about the missing person. Lilith, though a once prominent figure in hell, was still not found, causing a lot of people, including Charlie, to assume she just never was going to come back.
You got confirmation about Lucifer's depression one rainy night sitting at the bar. You were busy talking to Husk about Charlie's upcoming bonding retreat when a groggy Lucifer came down to get a drink. While he sat next to you, the bags and lines around his face were as clear as day. For an immortal being, he looked like he was knocking on death's door. He had been working long into the night to ensure Charlieās next adventure went on without a hitch.
You had nothing against Charlie and immensely enjoyed her company. You can only assume Charlie hadnāt given her father a break because he was never this vulnerable around her. You knew Husk had a way to get people to open up, but you were surprised he was opening up in front of you. He looked exhausted, as if sleep had invaded him for nights. You wanted to hug him, wrap him in blankets, and tell him to sleep.
While looking over the man, you noticed a band of gold on his hand that he awkwardly fidgeted with. Taking the context clues and knowledge from those in the hotel, you'd bet that was his wedding band. While watching him drink his fourth glass of whiskey for the night, you leaned over and placed a comforting hand on his. āI know you donāt know me well, but Lucifer, you are doing an amazing job. Itās okay to stop and breathe a little. You wonāt be letting anyone down if itās to help yourself.ā
His look was no less than shocked; from what you gathered, no one ever really talked to him in a comforting manner. āUh, well, thank you, Y/N; you know I am happy you joined the hotel. You will be an excellent Winner if we can ever redeem a soul.ā
That statement struck a cord in you again. Why did he know that you would make a good Winner? He had barely even met you when you joined the hotel. He was always so busy and working that the most you two said to each other on a given day was a small hello. Yet he knew enough about you to tell you would make a great Winner. You didnāt know that Lucifer was paying attention from the beginning of your journey at the hotel. He always said his job was to help make dreams come true, especially his daughters. So when you came along and started helping everyone with your calming aura and comforting ideas, he took extra notice of you. That's why he knew all your favorite napping spots, how you put self-care and rest above everything, and how you wanted to help others as much as he did.
From that day forth, you looked at the King of Hell differently. Instead of wondering why he was so busy and never saying no, you looked for all the times he grabbed that band. In doing this, you learned he liked to make rubber ducks, enjoyed the circus, had a fixation on apples, loved to sing randomly, and had a knack for helping others.
Honestly, the last part wasnāt that surprising. Charlie had to have gotten that trait somewhere. With Liltih being AWOL and the stories you heard in passing about the woman, you figured she wasnāt where Charlie's helping streak necessarily originated from. Taking this knowledge, you devise a plan to help the King of Hell finally get some reprieve.
Executing this plan flawlessly took a couple of days. From finding all the proper materials to convincing Charlie to make sure no one called on Lucifer, you had your work cut out for you. You didnāt know why you cared so much about what happened to Lucifer other than it tugged at your once-beating heart that he was so overworked and undervalued.
The day finally came for you to stop the overworked man and get him to slow down. As he started his day bright and early, you were already downstairs waiting. His arrival was right on time, and everyone knew that when he asked the dreaded āwhat can I do for everyone todayā question, they all had to say nothing.
When he heard he had nothing to do, Lucifer returned to playing with that ring on his finger. This was your cue to help him find a better way to distract himself than taking on millions of small tasks. You stood before Lucifer, hand outstretched with a broad smile, āDo you trust me?ā
You were met with little hesitance, and before you knew it, you had taken Lucfier up to the day room on the top floor. You had set everything up for the first half of your relaxation day. There was a giant pillow fort taking up center stage of the room.
Lucifer was taken aback. This was the sweetest thing anyone had done for him. It is a little cozy retreat away from having to work, a welcomed distraction. He was excited to see what your mind came up with. The whole interaction left a warm feeling in his chest, one he didnāt know if he was ready to explore yet.
Crawling in, you beckoned Lucfier to join you inside and get cozy. The magnificent fort was littered with various comfort foods, cozy blankets, and a TV with what Charlie called his favorite shows. Turning on the fairy lights and TV, you immediately saw the tension in his shoulders begin to relax.
You two stayed there for hours, watching shows, eating good food, and talking. Lucifer didnāt know when the last time he allowed himself to be this free with another person. You were content making sure he understood how valued he was, but you couldnāt deny the proximity, and the ease of the conversation was beginning to make you feel some type of way.
When the final movie was put on the TV, you let out a slight yawn. You had never disrupted your sleep schedule and nap time for someone else before, and your body was beginning to disagree with you. Lucifer took note of this and scooted a little closer to you. When you looked up at him, he just patted his shoulder, and you understood he was offering assistance to you.
You laughed gently in your hand, shaking your head. āNo, mister. I am supposed to be helping you, not the other way around. Come here.ā
As you said this, you repositioned the situation, so Lucifer rested against your chest. Your arms were wrapped around him, and you were gently playing with his hair. Lucifer hadn't complained about this, so you deemed it safe to continue. His hair was soft, with a little gel from when he woke this morning. Eventually, your hand stopped moving as you drifted off to sleep.
Lucifer was content like this. He hadnāt been held in so long. This was something he only dreamed of doing with Lilith once more. He thought about all these things and felt your hands slow and your breathing even.
Lifting his head slightly to look at you and not wake you, he realized you were lovely. The thought initially scared him as he hadnāt thought of another since Lilith, but your compassion and kindness were a refreshment. Slowly, he rested his head back on your chest and took a much-needed nap.
You had woken first, feeling Lucifer tighten his grip subconsciously around you. Smiling, you stroked his hair again as you pulled out your phone. There was still an hour before the final stage of relaxation day could continue. You closed your phone and realigned your attention to Lucifer.
He looked so beautiful, almost angelic if you were allowed to say that. He let out tiny snores, and you could nearly not see the bags under his eyes. You gently caressed his cheek without thinking, and when he nuzzled your hand, your face lit up. You told yourself he wasnāt ready and to diminish these feelings immediately.
Once the hour was up, you gently woke Lucifer with a light shake. He rubbed his eyes and stretched, looking at the now-darkened TV. Once he was situated, he got out of the fort with you, ready for you to lead him on the next adventure.
You strategically chose the top floor for the fort retreat so everyone else could set up downstairs. See, your plan helped kill two birds with one stone. Charlie wanted a fun way to bring in more sinners, and you wanted to help take the stress off Lucifer's plate. In doing so, the Hazbin Hotel Annual Carnival was born.
As you arrived downstairs, the carnival was in full swing. Flashing lights, games, food, and even a circus event were happening. You turned to look at Lucfier and shouted, āSurprise!ā He was astonished that you not only considered giving him a brain break but also made sure to add something physically fun.
This was particularly useful in two ways: he loved the circus and would be tired when he went to bed if he got worn out at the carnival. You showed him around the carnival with a broad smile on your face. All the regular inhabitants of the hotel were the carnies and some outside friends Alstor enlisted.
As soon as you explained everything, Lucifer had your hand in his and dragged you around. Though you were still exhausted, seeing this man so happy was well worth it. You participated in the games and the face painting. Lucifer laughed hard when he saw you get his Iconic makeup done.
As you made it to one of the last games, you found Angel managing the Apple Bobbing contest. With a broad smile, you drug Lucifer over and place your bets on who could get the largest apple. You hoped the newly painted makeup would withstand this trial as you went first. Coming back up with a tiny apple, Angel had to make one of his inappropriate jokes.
Next, the king himself went for an apple, not before blushing at the lewd comment Angel had made about you. He really needed to teach him that it's okay to keep thoughts inside. As he went down for an apple, he found a golden one and took his chance. Popping his head up, Angel rang a bell, signifying the grand prize.
Lucifer was handed a giant white snake plushie with a top hat as his winnings. He smiled, holding the cute item, and then turned to you. Gently, he wrapped the snake around your arm and shoulders, smiling wide. Your heart fluttered at the notion that he had given you his grand prize, no questions asked.
Over the loudspeakers, an excited Charlie could be heard asking everyone to come to the big top for the show. Lucifer was excited that his daughter, as a ringmaster, would entertain all these guests. As you two took your seats in the crowded room, the lights dimmed, and Charlie, in an adorable outfit almost identical to her father's, came out.
The smile on Lucifer's face when he saw Charlie look and act like him was heartwarming. You could almost see tears in his eyes. Lucifer was notably the most involved watcher of the show, answering questions, raising his hand for volunteer options, and even performing a song with Charlie. It was a fantastic event that left many impressed.
As the circus act ended, Charlie approached you and thanked you for taking over this task. She had already gotten many people asking to enroll in her redemption program. While Charlie was talking to you, it was missed by all the knowing soft smile Lucifer had while staring at you. He realized that he hadnāt gone to rub his band once this entire day since you showed up.
Looking down at his hand, he moved the band from his left finger to his right. He wasnāt fully ready to let go of Lilith, at least not in the semblance of her being the mother of his child, but he was ready not to let his past hold him back anymore. He walked over to you and Charlie and gently interrupted the conversation, asking to steal you away.
Charlie said yes, giving you a big thumbs up before she went on her own way, too. You gave Lucifer your full attention again as he led you to the Farris Wheel. Climbing aboard, you two faced each other and began talking like earlier that day. The conversation seemed so fluid for you two, making this a beautiful moment.
Once at the top of the wheel, there was a sudden jolt, causing you to move forward and land in Lucifer's lap. Both of you laughed gently as you resituated back in your seat. In doing so, however, you noticed his left hand was bare. You panicked, āWhere did your ring go? Did it fall when I moved? We have to look for it.ā
Lucifer just laughed at you and shook his head. He showed you his right hand now adorning his wedding band. You calmed down and looked at Lucifer as he explained, āI have never been so well taken care of, Y/N. To say I appreciate you would be an understatement. For seven years of my life, I have lived in this dark shadow that I was at fault for losing all I held dear. Though Charlie has been there trying to help, I still drown myself in work to forget Lilith.ā
Lucfier repositioned to sit closer to you, looking you in the eyes, āHowever, you have impacted my life since the day you arrived. I have been watching you and find your efforts to comfort and help those around you refreshing. I find it so amazing you even took time out for me to plan all of this.ā
Lucifer gently touched your cheek as he continued, āI have loved every minute of this day, and as I began to love it more and more, I realized I couldnāt let Lilith control my life forever, especially if she wasnāt here. I am not ready to completely let go; she is the mother of my child, and I hope she is alive and well. I am saying, though, that I am ready to move on and try to live more carefree again. You, Y/N, have been a dream come true.ā
Tears welled up in both your eyes as you took in the words. You smiled and reached your hand out to hold his. Hand in hand, you two laughed and looked over all of hell from the top of the wheel. You were happy he finally accepted being free from his past and taking self-care and love for himself seriously. It was also astonishing that you were the one to teach him this.
As the Farris Wheel ended and let you two off, the darkest point of the night finally hit. Grouping up at the front of the hotel, Lucifer's arms wrapped around you. A beautiful array of fireworks went off while you looked up to the sky. Turning to face Lucifer, you felt like you were living a dream. Who knew Lazy Days would result in a beautiful Dreamy Haze.

Having watched Jentry Chau vs. The Underworld as soon as it dropped, I can definitely say it lives up to the hype and Netflix should renew it for more seasons. It does feel weird that this dropped during Christmas season and not earlier like around Halloween. This show just vibes more with the spookier season.
JCVSTU definitely surprised me. I mean they killed off Jentryās great aunt Flora AKA āGuguā in the very first episode and in the following episode they buried her body in the backyard which makes me wonder if they are even zoned for that.
It was very interesting in how they went about the āisolated and ostracizedā main character route by showing how at first Jentry was accepted very quickly by the rest of her peers only to be rejected following the revelation with her role in the town fire that ruined many lives. The vice principal really had it in for her but as soon as other demons came in he quickly turned a 180 and was begging her for protection. Overall they eventually accepted Jentry again. The whole āsaving everyone from demonsā probably helped eased their opinions on her.
I was also caught off guard that Kit, the cute boy that was presented in the trailer as a love interest, was actually a demon. A Painted Skin which is a creature from Chinese mythology and this was the first time we see it in western animation. The way he died so that he could redeem himself makes me wonder if the opening credits was foreshadowing his reincarnation which would grant him the soul he always wanted.
I really adore the rest of the characters. Especially Jentryās friends from Korea. Itās a shame that we didnāt get to see more of them. I mean they knew about Jentryās powers and they accepted her anyway.

That isnāt to say that Stella and Michael arenāt great. They are also amazing for not only forgiving Jentry for the town fire years past but also for fighting by her side when demons started attacking.

I also like what they did with Stella. Sheās really sweet even though she was introduced as a love rival which didnāt go anywhere thankfully. She decided on her own to dump Michael since he wasnāt fully sure about their future together. Stella doesnāt blame Jentry for the break up and was very accepting of her even following the revelation that she started the town fire all those years ago. She was a fully realized character which helped the LGBTQAII+ representation she demonstrated at the season finale episode.

Michael Ole was also interesting. As in I actually didnāt expect him to be the childhood friend/love interest. The rise of LGBTQAII+ representation in western animation made me think he was in love with Kit not Jentry. Iām not fully 100% invested in him as a love interest yet. At the end of the season Iām not sure where he and Jentry are relationship wise and I hope more episodes would remedy that.
At the very least Iām invested in Michael character wise. I mean he had future visions which had nothing to do with Jentry and his parents seem to know more than they let on. They should really explore this in season 2.
I enjoyed the decision to have Jentry go back to Korea with her mother. It was when she was at her most happiest after the fire incident. She had friends who accepted her and she thrived. Plus with her portal making abilities she can come and go to Texas as she pleases and keep in constant contact with Michael and Stella. After everything she went through because of those powers, it was nice that she was finally benefiting from them. Really helped saved a fortune in international moving costs.

Iām craving more from this show and Netflix should deliver if it knows what good business is.

my chap 4 death predictions as of day 26. i made this a few days ago and surprisingly, it stayed entirely the same even after the motive drop.
this is more vibes-based than anything. would ojima make sense as a killer? ....maybe? i don't know how though. i guess that he could be the victim and yanagi the killer, i think it could be either-or. my reasoning for this order specifically:
three words- maximizing tragedy factor.
hirojima and/or hayashigeki ain't surviving. one, or both pairs are gonna get broken up now.
ojima dislikes yanagi and actively holds a grudge against him for hurting hiroaki.
ojima was in absolute awe when he heard hayashi killed her abuser, he wished he could be stronger and able to fight back too.
ojima has said many times that he would never kill, so being pushed to murder/or killing by accident would be tragic as hell. pure drama.
i thought about mai as a victim for a second, but i don't see how ojima, or anyone could make a drop on her, plus they have their solidarity thing going on.
yanagi's death would be devastating for mai. here he was, always worried about her safety, when she should have cared more about his all along?
ojima's been a victim his entire life. him dying as a victim would be fitting and devastating, but also...eh. eeeehhh. i guess if he killed by accident/unwittingly, it would also make him a victim of circumstance.
yanagi's self-sacrificial to a fault. if you live to be of service to others, could you say that you would never die for someone?
i'm not too certain about ojima killer, i don't know how it could be compelling AND well-written. woah, an abuse victim being a killer, so original. he can't kill while he's dissociating, that would be bad and stupid. he also wouldn't kill on purpose because he simply dislikes someone. what i feel is just... ojima killer would bring a different kind of devastation than ojima victim. he's a very kind and caring person, the idea of him going against who he is like that hurts so bad. there would be an undertone of betrayal there. like, et tu, ojima? especially if hiroaki carries the trial again, and as he's putting the pieces together, he realizes that he has doomed ojima to death. that, to me, would be an entirely different type of agony than the one of ojima getting murdered. not to say that hiroaki wouldn't also be completely incapacitated by ojima dying as a first thing.
also, i thought about a scene like, hiroaki thinks the 'but i wouldn't do it!' argument is always invalid and never lets it slide. so, it would be quite funny if someone accused ojima in the trial and hiroaki was like '??? uhhhh, are you stupid? ojima wouldn't do it, he can hardly tell his left from his right' and ojima's like haaahhh yeah. anyway, i'm putting a pin in it, i dunno. i'm still very fond of the idea that someone will try to kill hiroaki and they will get killed by ojima instead. (thanks bronze-ocs!)
however, yanagi is DEAD dead. deadady-dead-dead-dead. i'm certain. my man's just gone. he's been going above and beyond this chapter, stretching himself thin to support many people and keeping up morale. and so far he's the only one who sort-of kind-of believes in monomoko. or at least, that she might be imprisoned and coerced, just like them. i can't see how he could make it to chapter 5. for him, either scenario works. him being a killer, after all the good he's done for so many people, after he's been trying his hardest to redeem himself and make up for his mistakes? especially killing someone as beloved as ojima? oof. unforgivable. ESPECIALLY because of his knight's vow. he was supposed to protect others, that is what he lives for, and ending someone's life...honestly, now that i think about it, yanagi killer might just give himself up immediately out of pure guilt.
yanagi victim works for the same reasons, he's been trying so hard, struggling, growing, devoting himself to hayashi, wada, and tamba, and he gets killed for it. pure tragedy. it's just fucked. either way, i strongly feel that he's not going to survive.
briefly about some others:
mai: i feel like she might be a goner too, but i'm not sure. i don't see either ojima or yanagi killing her, or vice versa. wellllllllll... anything can happen if it's an accident.....?
tamba: maybe? either she's dying here, or she's a survivor. i just don't feel very strongly about the possibility of her dying.
hiroaki: as substitute for ojima. but i don't think he will, he had JUST tried to kill himself. plus, there's a hell of a lot more evidence for ojima dying rn than him. and my biggest reason...ojima's death would devastate him more than his would devastate ojima. but still, i'm not ruling it out completely.
watari's worrying me, but i think there's a big likelihood she'll survive. i saw the hama killer theories, it would be unexpected and tragic ig, but i dunno. ken and wada are surviving. and that's about it, for now, i'll see how it changes in the upcoming weeks.
#tetro danganronpa pink#i just realized that with ojima and yanagi gone there'd be only redsā purple and brown left....#damn i need to throw this entire thing outta the window now#blakewords

Debated making this, but oh well, here we areā¦
I rewatched the Loki series.
Going to add here quickly that I have been a fan of Loki since 2012/2013, and I personally relate to his character for a multitude of reasons.
Now, I enjoy the series, but I wish they made it more character focused than they had. I do feel like they prioritised story in terms of making it fit the next phase over exploring and expanding on Lokiās character to some degree (a lot of it was surface level).
For example, I wouldāve loved to have seen:
Exploring Lokiās Jotun heritage, even if it was a variant of him in the void that embraced it, dropped his aesir form, a conversation between Loki and his Jotun variant as they explain why they chose to embrace it, giving a different view to maybe how our Loki sees himself/the Jotuns. If āWhat Ifā could have a frost giant Loki variant, why couldnāt the show?
Expanding upon what happened to Loki during that year after his fall from the Bifrost. The reason for this is self explanatory really, it would add more lore/depth to his experiences/actions during the Avengers. Maybe address the trauma he has from it.
Loki fighting with his so-called ādesireā for a throne more. By this I mean, I felt he flipped pretty quickly from his plan to overthrow the time keepers to just following along with Sylvie - which is fine, but I kinda thought there would be more push back from him. I get it was a life or death situation and Lokiās whole thing is āsurvivalā, but it wouldāve added to their dynamic and the fact the writers clearly wanted to push how Sylvie was different to other Lokiās.
Exploring Sylvieās backstory more. It really did feel like it was an afterthought, which is a shame. I suppose they left it ambiguous for certain reasons, but I think they shouldāve had more flashback scenes of what Sylvie could remember. I think it wouldāve helped people understand and relate to her more. (I do love her though).
Actually showed Lokiās gender fluidity & shapeshifting ability more. Again, self explanatory really & important to his character, plus the whole implied only āwoman variantā thing with Sylvie shouldāve not been a thing, like at all.
They shouldāve given Loki more time to process everything. This show really shouldāve had 8 episodes each season, I get thatās not the writers fault, likely Disney/marvelās doing. Perhaps then the shift in his character wouldnāt have felt so jarring, especially considering heās 2012 Loki. I do agree they wrote him as if he was Ragnarok!Loki, and thatās not necessarily a bad thing, but it just felt jarring considering the last we saw of this Loki was Avengers. But then I could also argue that maybe he thought āwhatās the point of itā because the TVA know everything about him, but I digress.
Used Sylvie more in S2. It did feel like they didnāt quite know what to do with her, her and Loki clearly just needed to sit and discuss the citadel fight, but the closest thing we got is in EP3 where Sylvie says āthis is all rather familiar, isnāt it?ā, referencing their different/opposing opinions on the TVA/He Who Remains. And also maybe the pie room scene, but itās very vague/not directly addressed.
Explored the fact that Mobius is not a good guy more. Because, he isnāt. And thatās okay. To me, the whole point of the show is based on Lokiās quote of āno one good is ever truly good, and no one bad is ever truly badā, and whilst they do reference Mobiusā own morally grey actions/traits, they donāt particularly make it clear and most just see him as this āhappy go lucky old man who likes pie and loves Loki variantsā. In fact, I actually really liked the scene where Sylvie confronts him - which is a very unpopular opinion to have it seems, lol.
Delved into the psychology of Loki further than surface level/what we already know about him. Yes, we know heās the God of Mischief. Yes, we know he isnāt evil. Yes, we know he is redeemable. Yes, we know heās cunning, manipulative and selfish. We get that he projects this āillusionā of himself, but it was only really mentioned in S1 EP1, maybe slightly EP2, before itās never really mentioned again. I suppose S2 does this to a degree with the bar scene and EP5 of S1 in the time cell with Sif - also I think they tried to take the narcissist angle from the pov that itās because of his low self-esteem as to why he needs validation and itās a defence mechanism, but they didnāt particularly make that clear and made it seem like he just thinks highly of himself.
I know it seems like I have a lot of issues with the show, and I do, but I still enjoyed it. Itās okay to be critical of a piece of media and still enjoy it.
I do prefer S2 to S1, mostly because I prefer the direction they took it in and whilst I, of course, wanted better for Loki, I canāt deny S2 EP6 is a stunning finale. I sobbed so hard during the ending and still feel the grief that I actually lost someone I knew personally. But I also have hope that this means Loki is now a main player in the next phase (am I delusional? Maybe).
I enjoyed the dynamics, the back and forth/chemistry, the story was interesting, the set & costume design, the acting, the directing/colour grading, the music (Natalie Holt, you are genius), the emotions, the fun, the charactersā¦
So this is not a hate post by any means, I will once again state, I enjoyed the show. But, I do have issues with it, and thatās okay too.
Please, dni if youāre just going to be argumentative or confrontational. I also donāt want to hear that just because I enjoyed the show that Iām ānot a real fanā lmao. Iām sorry, but Iāve been a Loki stan for over a decade, and I will not have someone tell me Iām not a real fan because of a piece of fictional media. Also, please do not mention anything regarding ships on this post, I do not care for it because it always ends up in arguments and I am a multishipper so I donāt tend to fight for any side. Thank you! :) /gen

Ways to make a Dale Dimmadome redemption work:
Hi! So, as a self proclaimed Dale Dimmadome redemption truther, I wanted to make this post explaining why a redemption is, in my opinion, very much possible. (I am not nearly as confident about this as I am pretending to be)
Buckle up, this'll be a long one folks!
First, why do I think a Dale redemption could happen? Let's go through it:
It's still a kids show. I find the conclusion to the story that Dale will never love his son a bit grim for a show for children. You could of course make it work by using the found family trope with Peri instead, plus there are plenty of kids shows that have used the evil father of secondary character/antagonist trope, without the father getting a redemption but I do think a Dale redemption is the most satisfying conclusion for this show.
Even Remy Buxaplentys parents started caring for Remy at some point, so I got hope. Though to be fair, they were incredibly one note.
His past with Vicky makes him a bit more sympathetic. Knowing what he went through in his childhood, it makes sense he probably wouldn't know what a child needs. I'm just saying it means there's room for improvement
He emotionally neglects Dev, but his physical needs are met. Which is something, right? Like Yay... And all...
We don't know if Dale doesn't love Dev. I think there's a possibility that he does care but just doesn't know it because he's taken his child for granted. That's not an excuse of course, but it would make a redemption more plausibel. If Dale genuinely does not love Dev whatsoever, I'll give up on my redemption hope.
How could they pull it off, if at all?
Assuming that Dale does love Dev, deep deeeep down, and just doesn't realize it because he's so focused on his company, the best way to show this is through a choice.
Dev doing things that benefit the company has never helped their relationship, Dale just gets happy because Money and it doesn't make him appreciate his son more, Dev just becomes someone useful to him.
But if Dev causes Dale to lose money, that's a good start to see what Dale truly prioritizes deep down.
Dale choosing Dev over his company is what I need if they decide to redeem him. I need Dale in one way or another show us that he truly cares. Maybe have Dale spend so much money to find and save Dev, that his company goes bankrott? Or have his company explodes and Dale's main concern could be Devs wellbeing. Or Dev goes behind his father's back and intentionally hurts the company, but instead of lashing out at Dev, Dale reflects on himself.
Now... That's all incredibly out of character for Dale and I would hate for an unearned redemption. I'd need there to be a lot of build up to that moment, some foreshadowing that hints at Dale not feeling entirely indifferent about Dev. Small moments, nothing too grand. Maybe he'd be worried if he finds out that he had left Dev with Vicky at one Point, and that could be the catalyst to show us that he isn't as awful as we were shown previously.
And after we had enough of those moments and already have a feel that Dale isn't all uncaring, we get to the grand moment where Dale shows us through his actions that in truth, he cares far more about his kid than his cash. It would feel earned and not be out of nowhere then.
Now before yall call me delusional, I know that this is extremely unrealistic and I'm just setting myself up if these are my expectations. Good thing they aren't. I do expect Dev to have something equivalent of his father's love at the end of the show, but that's it.
Here are some examples of what I actually believe would happen:
Hazel and Dev become friends (again) but this time their friendship is explored more. Maybe Dev also befriends Hazel's friends and finds fulfillment through that. (although I think that'll happen regardless and would be unsatisfying if that was all we got)
Involving Peri in this mess and giving him a character arc of his own would work as well. He realizes that Dev doesn't need a Fairy to be happy because, as Cosmo said in the finale, what Dev truly wants isn't something he can get through wishes. Dev, being super rich, is already used to getting "stuff", but love isn't stuff. So Peri basically becoming a parental figure for Dev, which is what he is supposed to be as a godparent anyway, could work. Besides, Peri already solidified himself in this role in the finale when he told Dev that he cared about him. It was a heartwarming moment. We all loved it so ofc we would want more of that.
Anything involving Irep, another Fairy or even Timmy. Dev needs someone that cares for him. My top three go to characters are obviously Peri, Hazel and Dale, but they're not the only ones that could fulfill that role. We just need to wait and see what the writers do.
So yea, a Dale redemption is my first pick for a season 2 finale (or technically my first pick is a hint at a Dale redemption in the s2 finale and the actual redemption happens way later because slow burn) but I do understand that it's pretty unlikely and would be very much satisfied with Peri becoming his godparent with Emphasis on parent, or even the power of friendship with Hazel, though that'd be harder to execute without it feeling cheap (I got faith in the writers)
So this was very long. And I am going to sleep now. Thanks for reading.

Az, this chapter was genuinely the most shocking and greatest thing Iāve read, and Iāve read all of your steddie fics. Iām so shocked.
Eddie murdered Steveās parents as soon as he was out of jail, kept collections of the people heās surrounded himself with in a box, brutally murdered Tommy for what he did, and the last scene?? where he told sergio to call him Jack instead? Oh my goodness, itās so beautiful, I adore the way you wrote it. You could truly tell the switch in Eddie from the beginning of the chapter, to the end.
I love the way you made Tommy. It was so fascinating to read his character from the beginning in high school, to see his flaws and where he messed up, to the middle of the fic where he slowly started to lose his mind with the desire of āfixing everythingā. In the end, he only made Steve worse. It hit worse than Billy, because Steve genuinely thought that Tommy was his friend, that they forgave each other and could start anew. For a moment, I felt hopeful for Tommy. Then he just had to do what he did, shame.
And Steve, God, Steve. I loved how accurate it was. the thing with Tommy, and the aftermath. The flickers with silver fox, Billy, EVEN EDDIE. Itās a sign that after the thing with Tommy happened, unless Iām wrong, Eddie is also considered one of Steveās abusers, though he cleaned Steve up afterwards. Iām not sure if you meant it out to be that way, but I noticed it.
Plus, the ānew partā inside of Steve that formed after the event. Iām going to call it āAware Steveā if that makes sense, lmfao. Will it be making more of an appearance? And, how does he feel about Eddie? I noticed that heās not as soft as Little Steve and Steve are with Eddie, heās more blunt and sarcastic and very aware of what Eddie did, and what the other people have done to Steve.
Not sure if you did this intentionally, but I also noticed that it was as if the ages of Steve had split into parts all at once, rather than being kept up in a box. I liked that little detail. You represented it very well. :)
AND. Oh my goodness I just remembered this. The thing with GEN?? SHES CHEATING ON ROBIN? You added so much more onto side characters.
Is there anything you can tell us about Part Three? For example; Will it get worse from here? Will Steve slowly get his memory of what actually happened with Tommy back? Was this a one time thing, or is the part where Eddie lied to him gonna become a frequent thing?
Thereās truly no redeeming in any characters. Jonathanās messed up, but heās always there for Eddie. Tommy got caught up in the fascination of trying to save Steve, that he soon ended up being one of Steveās monsters in the end. Nancy did horrible things, and is the main reason for what happened in the showers, NOT Tommy. Well, sorta, but you know. Billy canāt be redeemed in general. Eddie is gone for Steve. Heās a horrible person.
You did amazing in this chapter, Az. I cannot wait for March, Iām positive youāll do just as amazing.
I WILL be rereading this!
P.S : please answer some of my questions! if not, itās okay. but god i am curious about āaware steveā
Hi lovely, thank you SO much for this amazing ask! Yours was one of the first I got over the weekend and while i couldn't answer until now, I loved reading this!!
Yes, we will definitely see a lot more of Aware Steve and learn more about the coping mechanism/element of himself. He doesn't especially LIKE Eddie, no, but he'll trust him if he has to. This version of Steve is exactly as you said - aware. There's so much that Our Steve reasons away, compartmentalises and even purposefully forgets about Eddie. We see this where he makes constant comparisons between Eddie and Billy because that's such a vindicating and obvious reassurance for Steve. Aware Steve, however, does not do this and he sees things in a far more jaded manner.
I absolutely loved writing the GV scene, its extremely fun to zoom in on a previous 2D character and show that actually they can be gross, unkind and disloyal all while seeming lovely. She's been cheating on Robin for a while now.
So, I can absolutely tell you a few vague things about Part Three. Most of what's coming has already been set up in the final scenes where we get multiple POVs, but i can confirm these too:
Ghost of Tommy Hagan - he's been haunting the narrative since the 1st chapter and he's not going anywhere for a while.
The slow decay of Eddie's control, mental state and his ability to retain empathy.
Steve's unravelling in a way we haven't seen before.
BREAKUPS!!
Someone dies.
One of the Seven gone rogue.
An unexpected betrayal.
An unexpected ally
AN UNEXPECTED HOOKUP
A Normal Person TM
Tommy's gun.
Just a few little hints!
Thank you so much againāØļøššāØļøšāØļøšāØļøššāØļøāļøššāØļøš¤āØļø

Ranking the Miracucast by how good of a Doctor Who Companion they'd be.
Marinette: She'd be great at it, but she would also hate it and just want it to be over. She's tired and has no time for this shenaniganry. Please give her this chance to not be involved. 5/10
Alya: Would have SO MANY QUESTIONS. Could do very well, but I can see her veering dangerously close to Adam Mitchell territory. Careful there, Alya. 7/10
Adrien: Yes. 10/10
Nino: I think he'd be a decent TARDIS passenger, but he's the type that'd be part of an ensemble. Wouldn't work as well as a solo companion. 4/10
Chloe: Sorry Chloe fans, but no. The Doctor can pull a redemption arc out of anyone, but they also have no patience for bullcrap. It's just not happening no matter how much I want it to. 1/10
Sabrina: I think she would be great, but the fandom would not like her as a companion. 6/10
Mylene: Yeah, she would not like it. 0/10
Ivan: If Mylene isn't going, then neither is he. 0/10
Rose: Would be absolutely hilarious due to her name alone. Accompanying a Classic Doctor might be better for her. 7/10
Juleka: I don't care what you say she would be excellent and the fandom would love her. Ironically would probably fit better with a NuWho Doctor. 10/10
Kim: The Doctor does not want Kim in the TARDIS. Kim has been in the TARDIS at least once, and the Doctor has vowed that it will be the last time. They're wrong. 4/10
Max: The Doctor would ADORE Markov. Max would be Markov's plus one. 7/10 by proxy
Alix: Pretty sure she already is a companion. Like. In canon. We haven't seen it but it's definitely happened, fight me. Alix/10
Nathaniel: I want to say he'd be great but in my heart I know he would be Very Stressed. Definitely would not want to travel with the Doctor, but would keep getting dragged along by his friends. The fandom would love him though. 5/10
Lila: As she is now? Absolutely not. The Doctor would despise her. -10/10, BUUUUUUT if she was picked up before Volpina (or pre-Chameleon at the latest) I think she could be redeemed like in the Scarlet Lady AU. She would be hilarious. She gives me Turlough vibes. If the Doctor can deal with Turlough and Missy then he can deal with Lila. She has the potential to be unique and have an interesting character arc compared to other companions, and let's be honest NuWho needs something unique and interesting. 8/10
Luka: Like Nino, he works better as part of ensemble. Would be an excellent supporting character for Marinette or Juleka if they were companions, or maybe be a very cool Oneshot Companion like Wilf. 3/10
Kagami: The Doctor would have their work cut out for them, because Kagami is a "stab first ask questions later" person and the Doctor doesn't vibe with that normally. Neither The Doctor nor Kagami would be happy with this arrangement. So naturally Kagami's sole season would be one of the best in the entire show. 9/10
Marc: He would travel with either the Second or Thirteenth Doctors. He would do wonderfully, but his seasons would definitely be more focused on the Doctor than Marc himself. Sorry Marc. 7/10
Ondine: Is too busy keeping Kim out of trouble. And as stated previously, the Doctor does not want Kim in the TARDIS. 2/10
Felix: I just don't think it would work. Felix could definitely be a major recurring character, but somehow I can't really see him actually being a companion proper. He does get bonus points for being British. Perhaps instead of being a companion he spends his free time annoying Torchwood. 3/10
Zoe: She'd be great. But the universe would be Very Cruel to her. People will die, and she will not be happy about it. 8/10

Can you explain the noldor-apologism in your Bio? I mean, I get why you would like Fingolfin, Gil-galad, Finrod Felagund or EƤrendil. But I wanna hear what you have to say about noted warcriminals Feanor, Maedhros and Maglor. Also what can you say aboutCelegorm and Curufin?
perhaps this exchange I had with my sister will explain my stance:

(translation: i don't know who that is but i agree)
......I might be giving her the wrong idea about the events of The Silmarillion.
as a whole my opinion about FĆ«anor and his sons is that they are my funky little war criminal guys and I love them. <3 more seriously, The Tragedy. compels me.
Fƫanor, as a child, growing up with everyone thinking/knowing that there is something fundamentally wrong with him. Everything he ever does is informed by this. (Why am I not loved enough? Why am I unlovable? And he misses the forest for the trees.) He makes horrible decisions and then he dies, and becomes the ghost haunting the narrative. THIS is so compelling. After Alqualondƫ and the ships, everything horrible is done in his name but crucially he is not there for it. He's held up as the worst, because obviously he has to be the worst if his children are like that, but there is always the question at the back of your mind: would he have done that? Would he have wanted this to happen? (Probably.) (But, maybe....) Also he's a linguist so I can't not love him.
MAEDHROS. I love him. Tragic hero broken beyond hope. How far one person can fall. From being the voice of reason (he alone stood aside) to being the worst of them all. He is THE tragedy. He pieces himself together after being rescued from captivity, just to break differently in the end! Maedhros is a story about hope that's destroyed again and again and again. He clings onto life for all those centuries, for what? At the end, he holds the Silmaril in his hand, and it was all for nothing. And then he kills himself. His life fucking sucks. I love him.
The fact that Maglor's biggest redeeming moment is that he takes in the two children they captured after they destroyed their city will never not be hilarious. To me. But also, he raised Elros and Elrond. Possibly my favorite event to toss around in my head, their fucked up little family is everything to me. Him, I love so much because he's the greatest contradiction. Maedhros grits his teeth and commits war crimes as familial duty. Maglor writes the Noldolantƫ. Maglor raises the children whose family he as good as massacred, and does it WELL. He loves them. Maglor is gentle, he repents, he regrets everything with his whole heart. And then he commits another war crime. That's delicious. (Also I had a lot of fun coming up with an OC for his unnamed wife, I think she's hilarious. I love women who suck.)
Celegorm and Curufin are possibly the most irredeemable tbh. Their stint as the minor villains in LĆŗthien's story is entertaining though for sure. I don't have as many thoughts on them as I do on Maedhros and Maglor, but I could probably do some apologism for them if I wanted to. Anyways Celegorm is again a beautiful illustration of how far one person can fall ā he's like a whole different person by the time they meet LĆŗthien. A much worse one, and you can't help but think to yourself "How did this happen? how did he get here?" (The answer might just be Curufin...)
Speaking of Curufin! He's like his father, and isn't that a heavy cross to bear? Fƫanor is haunting the narrative but he's haunting Curufin especially. (Celebrimbor manages to not have his father haunt him to this degree, which must take a heroic effort. Good for him!) Also the two of them were definitely enabling each other, someone should separate them for their own sake. Christopher Tolkien says "it's Curufin who put evil into Celegorm's heart" and I feel like there's definitely truth in that, but it certainly didn't do HIM any good either. Oh, and he didn't like Eƶl which is obviously a plus in my book, because fuck that guy.
And I love how Caranthir, Amrod and Amras are left out of the question. rip these three, they need to commit more/worse war crimes to have a spot here. This reply is already long enough though.
#THANK YOU for the ask i love getting the opportunity for some noldor apologism <33#silm#silmarillion#long post#...maybe? looks more medium-sized to me but i'm a bit tired and can't tell#š

"Charlie is just selfish and entitled."
I agree seeing how she manager the meeting with adam, valentino and angelic court.
Chalie doesn't know who is talking or topic of game and present her idea without permition and singing! I think primary student make more professional presentation! Plus I have project without prove! Who would believe tha?
Coming in porno studio without appointament, destroyed because she was distracting the people who were working! All fire/smolke make extra work for everyone, from clearners, actor ecc. Because does she call for professional appointament like an adult!
Acting as karen because angel pretty mush told her we don't judge human soul and we don't ascend them it is divine judgement do it.So it is like she speak bad about management with waiter who can only follower it. Yes because calling Divine judment doesn't hide it is ducking God! And until now in series God hasn't sent people in wrong place.
The funny thing I'm not believe and i hate how heaven is bashing in series because they don't want sinners who act like war criminal to their home! But they killed sinners! Well if hell was a real prison heaven wouldn't fear hell. In series itself human cannot touch demonic/angel stuff that mean if sinner attack Earth, they cannot defend themselves because they don't have weapon against them! I doubt you would like to become luch for alastor or next star of VVV!
Yeah, Charlie is selfish and entitled thanks to her privilege and status along with doing this whole redemption passion project. If Charlie was the average sinner, she wouldāve been beaten up and exterminated by now.
1. Charlie is similar to Vivziepop and that has to do with being impulsive. Even in the pilot, Charlie has been shown to jump into a situation without actually knowing or doing any research. For example in the pilot: Charlie immediately goes into the new station to present her idea and plan, even Katie Killjoy calls out how Charlie doesnāt know if her passion project even work and even worse Angelās involvement in the turf makes Charlie look stupid for obvious reasons.
With Charlieās meeting with Adam itās horrible because Adam being Adam talks about himself and even when he is done talking, Charlie for some reason over hypes him and never gets to the point about the topic, making the whole scene tiring and overstaying itās welcome. So, when Adam says time is up, Charlie is forced to speedrun her information via song for like 30 seconds until Adam interrupts her so he can sing then kicks her out. Nothing productive happens on both sides.
2. The porn studio is Charlieās worst moment yet in the show and as a writing standpoint. Even before that shitshow shows how entitled Charlie is. I get it what Charlie is going through, she has a 6 month deadline and very stressful. But at same time, that is what you get when you donāt research beforehand about your topic and donāt provide evidence. Angel has to leave because he has a job to do and Charlie desperately doesnāt want him to leave because they have a few months left. Charlie coming into the studio without any notice illustrates her privilege and status, she even says that how she is the princess of hell and can go wherever she pleases.
3. I would side with Heaven but Anon they have no idea what they are doing too š Charlieās performance however with the notecard and defining definitions shows how unprepared she is. And, conveniently the hotel now works.
4. They did Heaven dirty. But I have wonder if news travel that Sir Pentious is redeemed throughout Hell, would the sinners actually be interested to change or will they be acting in bad-faith and pretend. Like imagine another sinner gets into Heaven and wreaks havoc. Also Imagine youāre in heaven and you see your abuser there, that be crazy.
I hope the show addresses Charlieās privilege/status, like that could be great conflict and good character reflection. Everyone canāt bend over backwards for Charlie especially if they have work to do.

I used to like Jacques when I first played TRT a few years ago, but honestly, now I think he's a kind of a big jerk!
->Flirts with Nancy even though he's engaged
->Acts like Nancy is flirting with him back when all she asks is a couple questions about him
->Doesn't wanna do his own job of taking Hotchkiss's boots back up to her room. She's one of the only, like, three guests in the whole place, lol; he could take them up himself, it's not like he's busy. Plus, Hotchkiss's room is right near the elevator-it'd be easy to take them up
->Freaking saws through a bit of the castle for his own personal gain of fame to balance the fact that he screwed up at the Olympics
->Sees that Nancy is "taking a cat-nap on the floor" in front of his locker and doesn't bother to check if she's okay...after he was the one who told her to check out his locker in the first place!
->Calls her later to check up on his medallion, not really to see if she's alright
->Blames her for said medallion disappearing even though she got painfully knocked out and HAD TO BE CARRIED UPSTAIRS {by someone else, even--not him. Thanks, Jacques}
->Goes "Keep the stupid medallion; it's yours!". Very petty
->Repeats that whenever you try to talk to him again at all throughout the rest of the game
->And yet somehow also gets rewarded at the end of the game for recovery of the medallions and journal??? When to help find the journal and medallion for the good of France and/or Marie Antoinette wasn't his goal, his goal was only to help himself?
I would forgive pretty much any of these points in a character if the character either learned from their mistakes, tried to apologize/do better, or if they had other redeeming qualities that balanced it out. But this is most of Jacques' character 'arc'! Why did they give Dexter a good sad backstory and Hotchkiss an endearing personality {even though she's a bit weird at first, lol}, but just made Jacques a jerk? Lol
#This is just my opinion; if anyone's a Jacques fan-I'm not critiquing them#I just don't like him lol#nancy drew#clue crew#nancy drew games#nancy drew pc games#trt#treasure in the royal tower#ccptfortnight#cluecrewplaythru#Jacques Brunais

I donāt see the parallels between Mable and Ford and Dipper and Stan. Can you explain cause iām really curious now.
ok ok ok so. im not gonna cite any specific sources sorry im too lazy to go back but i promise you ive watched the series too much for it to be healthy
mabel and ford are both very much similar people. they're both very artistically talented, mabel made a lifelike sculpture of stan so you cant deny this one - they also both have very similar personalities, they're extremely blunt when talking to others and outwardly weird and proud of it, they just express it in different ways. i mean how many times has mabel directly called out dipper for doing Stupid Shit in the same way Ford has to Stan ? like at least three times. at least thrice. and theres definitely a parallel between mabel embracing being a weird little girl and making sweaters every day, eating toothpaste and whatever the unicorn creature from DDAMD was - she could choose to act normal, but why in the world would she ever? and ford not having that choice, so he pursues research of the supernatural to try and find a place for himself amongst the strange and unusual. both are also called out on by society for being strange - mabel just stands up to her bullies a little better than ford does. its also important to note that neither of them socialize normally at ALL. its just that mabel is so confident in herself that when she goes up to you and says HI I'M MABEL MY EARRINGS ARE NACHOS WANNA BE FRIENDS? you're like hell yeah!!! they are!!! lets be friends!!! theyre both so trusting too which leads to them being directly screwed over by bill, it isnt their fault at all but he STILL DOES IT. plus they both briefly dated a supernatural fish creature, and had an absolutely TRAINWRECK of a relationship that altered how they'll approach their future ones - mabels was with gideon, and fords was with bill.
and hoooo their twin. stan directly sees some of his younger self in dipper, most notably in dreamscaperers, which is why he tries to toughen the kid up. the two of them also solve a lot of their problems with Punching. as soon as dipper loses access to the journal he starts swinging. bro jumped off a cliff to punch a massive robot in the eye and also swung at a massive triangle god. he was NOT hesitating he just started swinging, exactly what stan does!!! and its for their twin. soooo much of what the both of them do is in pursuit of the goal of keeping their twin safe or getting them to safety. dipper sticks up for mabel against Pacifica exactly how Stan did for his family in Gideon Rises. they're also VERY intelligent + resourceful, and can fly by the seat of their pants with random information, stan rebuilt the portal with about a third of the blueprints and with zero funding, and dipper is shown doing complex math in an instant and using what little info the journal has on various threats to thwart them - part of this is also social intelligence. mabel may be a social butterfly but dipper and stan know who to trust and when and navigate their relationships extremely carefully. theyre also hella good at convincing people to do what they want - dipper redeemed at least two people by just talking to them, the only difference between the skill they have with words is that stan uses his to convince people to keep coming back to the mystery shack so he can make money, and dipper uses his to get people to fight back against injustice. i also dont think i need to tell you how insecure the both of them are in their identities. thats not even getting into the themes of self sacrifice
sorry this was long but tl;dr: a cutiepie wearing sweaters with a book vital to the plot whose eccentricities define them, and a smart&sly guy who has a way with words, with a front meant to hide their insecurities. okay was i talking about mabel and dipper or ford and stan in that order

um hey can i request xibalba x gn reader headcannons
Xibalba x Human! Reader - Headcannons (The Book Of Life x Reader)
(Note: Xibalba has been separated from La Muerte (you can check out La Muerte's blog here), the reader is gender neutral and is human, mention of Xibalba's past infidelity with La Muerte.)
ā” To be honest, Xibalba is not exactly the best lover, and what could you expect less? He is literally made of everything rotten you can imagine, and he has no faith in humanity (at least not like La Muerte does), but despite all this he tries and his efforts are good.
ā” Xibalba is really not in his best moment, he was unfaithful to his ex-wife La Muerte, and that's why she divorced him, Xibalba wanted to fix things with her, but it was too late.
ā” So Xibalba spent his time ruling the Land of the Forgotten, the only entertainment he can allow himself is to go up to the Land of the Living taking a human form, (since annoying humans is one of his greatest hobbies).
ā” That's when he meets you, a person so pure and kind that it makes his whole soul and heart melt, he had already lost faith in humanity centuries ago but seeing you made you catch his attention.
ā” Xibalba has had plenty of experience winning over several of his lovers before, so he will court you properly, giving you gifts (from flowers and chocolates to whatever gifts you like the most) and taking you to romantic dinners (he will even bring the āSabor de Romanceā wine), plus he will flirt and be quite the seducer with you.
ā” Xibalbaās biggest problem is his insecurities that can lead him to do questionable things (from cheating with his own wife to rule the Land of the Remembered to cheating on her with another goddess), but if you manage to get him over his insecurities you will have a lover completely devoted to you.
ā” He is also a very jealous man, he will always do everything possible to have all your attention, so make sure to tell him that you only have eyes for him.
ā” Although his actions will always be contradictory, the truth is that he loves you and loves you deeply, he will kiss your hands and your forehead to show his devotion to you.
ā” He will be willing to change to redeem himself for you.
ā” When you start dating and the caresses become present, he will completely melt at your touch.
ā” He will always call you dear and my love (and the Spanish version āmi amorā).
ā” When the time comes to reveal his true identity to you, he will give you a great explanation to show himself to you.
āI must say that you have surprised me, Y/N, in all these centuries I have never met a human like you.ā
āYou are the purest soul of all, and believe me when I tell you, no other human is as pure as you.ā
āI thought that La Muerte would be the only one who could be the light in my darkness, but I realized that you are for me too, will you be able to reciprocate my feelings, my dear?ā .- He kisses your hand waiting for your answer.

I mentioned this earlier but Nathaniel x Anora is one of my Beloved Dragon Age Rare-pairs. I have a fic for it even.
When I first started writing for Inara, of course, she and Alistair stayed together and Anora took the throne alone (as it should be). Nathaniel then, through a visit to the capital with Inara, reconnected with Anora, and the two began a years-long affair. I never had them marry because, well, Nathaniel is a Howe and a Grey Warden.
However, if I extended that timeline out to now, knowing what we all know, I think that after the Mess in the South (the extent of which I mostly choose to ignore tbh, that's silly), they could probably get married after the defeat of Elgar'nan. The country would be shattered, and I'm sure Nathaniel would make himself a hero.
(Inara would still be alive in that timeline as well, if she didn't die in the turmoil in the VG timeline).
But by then, Nathaniel would have redeemed himself, saving Fergus Cousland's life after Awakening and earning Delilah an estate of her own. Then, after the Combo Blight, I think everyone could move on and some of the Grey Wardens would be granted leave from the Order. Nathaniel could marry Anora and be King.
I think the two of them would vibe really well. Nathaniel is straight-laced, ruler-minded, but respectful. I think he would be more than happy to let Anora take the lead, and he wouldn't overshadow her in name. Forgiving Rendon's crimes, he carries noble blood from the Rebellion that's just a shade less powerful in line to the throne than the Couslands.
And he fucking loves a woman with a fire in her. The woman he romances at the Tourney and Velanna prove that pretty well. Plus, Rendon and Loghain were pals, and so they probably at least vaguely knew of each other or had some kind of report at some point. He clearly didn't care much for Cailan.
And Anora... Anora deserves an adult with a sharp mind and a strong capacity for actually doing his job and doing it with honor. Nathaniel has the blood, the brain, and the heart to make him an asset. And he's a good man, and would treat her like she deserves for once.
