I think we as the LU fandom need to stop the whole "Sky gets mad at Wild for the Master Sword breaking in TOTK" and start going "Sky is going to throw hands with TOTK Ganondorf no matter what laws of magic he has to break to do so".

Bc let's be real here, if Sky ever found out that Ganondorf tried to kill Wild and literally destroyed Fi while attempting to do so bc she was protecting Wild the best she could, he really would just go and kill Ganondorf himself.

He would manifest himself into Tears of the Kingdom in any way he possibly could (as a ghost, via possession, literally forming a physical body out of pure spite and rage, fistfighting the Shadow to open a portal) and he would jump into the Hyrule Castle rift and murder Ganondorf single-handedly.

And Wild would 100% be on board with this bc 1. now he has the best back-up he could possibly ask for; and 2. he knows that Sky murdering Ganondorf would be glorious to watch

One of the common exchanges that we’ve all witnessed or been a part of is the general “the UN is antisemitic” discourse. Often we’ll point to the hypocrisy of the organization as a whole, its member states that commit arguable worse actions that Israel, the antisemitism of member nations, the double standards, and so much more.

A common argument is that the UN often employs established and well known antisemites in positions to “oversee” Israel. These persons barely hide their antisemitism behind professional jargon or obfuscations.

Of these persons one of the worst offenders is Francesca Albanese.

There is an ever growing pile of interactions, exchanges, actions, and writing that routinely show she is antisemitic.

I, unfortunately, got to witness this latest one, which is still up on Twitter.

Look at this interaction. Notice that Rene is stating "Jews are capable of eating human flesh" an age old antisemitic conspiracy that we've dealt with for centuries.

And what does Albanese do?

She doesn't refute it or call it out.

She says not to "attribute what Israel does to all Jewish people".

Meaning, "Israeli Jews are capable of eating human flesh, just not all Jews". Meaning, "If a Jew supports Israel they are capable of eating human flesh." Albanese is supporting this antisemitic rhetoric by basically implying anyone who is a "bad Jew" is subject to this hateful rhetoric. It once again shows that she is not, nor has ever been, an impartial observer as her position as UN Special Rapporteur dictates. She's been called out for her antisemitism and thinly veiled justification for it for years. This is just one more occurrence and shows that she either does not understand what her "correction" supports and justifies or she is willfully doing this type of stuff to signal to her followers and supporters what kind of hate can be thrown as Jews they label as "bad".

This latter position is the most likely because there's no way this has not been explained to her.

But like anything antisemitic with the UN, its personnel, and associated orgs, the well documented antisemitism is ignored and brushed under the rug and concerns ignored.

Something that I am struck by, as we wait to walk into Vasselheim, is that so much emphasis has been placed upon this being a change in the status quo, to the point that it feels like the narrative has pushed to this conclusion only because that emphasis demanded it, but at the same time, everything else said has suggested that nothing will change.

Matt has specified on more than one occasion that healing magic won't disappear because it's not technically of the gods, and that clerics and paladins can continue on as they were because the magic doesn't come from their patron but the conviction of their beliefs. The gods may be gone in one respect or another, but these statements suggest that faith is not contingent on a real figure responding to it, even when magic is involved, and though some religious figures and sects may opt to let go of it, many will not. The rest of Exandria will not be harmed if Predathos is let loose in a diminished form to chase its next prey, because we've confirmed it does not even see Exandria. Though there are other massive impacts upon status quo normal in the world—Ruidians now being known and present, unprecedented political alliances, shifts in longstanding ruling institutions like the Cerberus Assembly—these are not the changes that the narrative has hammered so hard upon; in fact, it's barely lingered there, and instead swept those concerns under the rug. Exandria itself will largely continue to turn as it always has, and the lives of those upon it, in this regard, will not materially change.

There are less kind interpretations to be made about what kind of ending the Hells are walking into, but these frustrations lie a level above even that, at the narrative and structural level. For all the talk of a change in the status quo, it feels as though the stagnation the Hells have exhibited for this entire campaign has infected the creative intent.

At every turn, we've been reassured that this change will not make an impact on the world in even the ways that it seems it most should, in a sense that feels almost precious about Exandria. And it is not unreasonable that the table and especially Matt are precious about it! But it is fundamentally at odds with the force the narrative is attempting to exert, at this point culminating in what I can best describe as unstoppable force meets immovable object, and the result is a lack of narrative commitment in change—any change—that the ending desperately needs to feel as though it's found any purchase in its own world.

The idea of Riley introducing Arcade to Yes Man has been eating my head for ages- It's gotta be the most awkward first meeting imaginable.

Basic rundown: Shortly after first visiting the Legion Fort, pissing off Caesar and retrieving the platinum chip, Riley decides to open up to Arcade about what he found in Benny's suite after he initially ran off: a new friend with a potential plan to throw all major parties out of New Vegas. So he promises to eventually introduce the two, and imagine Arcade's surprise (or lack thereof) when this 'friend' turns out to be a giant reprogrammed securitron robot.

First impressions are... interesting. I feel like Arcade would definitely be a little unnerved at first, but surprised at the potential for an independent Vegas.

My problem with The Dragon Prince is that while it preaches about "breaking the cycle" and "choosing love", it repeatedly does so in a way that echoes the age-old idea of telling victims to passively accept their lot in life and the injustices inflicted upon them while their perpetrators never have to acknowledge their wrongs or face consequences for their actions. This is the kind of narrative they follow on both a personal and systematic axis, and it's exactly why the show will always frustrate me.
