I would like to mention that when "Roads" got shot in the head, he actually forgot basically everything about his life. The only reason why he goes by Roads is because he thought it sounded right. He chases Benny down mostly because he wants answers from him rather than vengeance. (though the vengeance is still nice)

But even before getting shot, his memory was already getting pretty bad. Living for 200 years will probably do that to a person. He barely remembered what the old world even looked like.

45. Do they have any specific hobbies or talents?

YES!! There are three things I'd like to highlight:

Sewing + Assembling Clothing

Jury-Rigging

Manipulation, Lying, being an Opportunist (I'm using "talent" VERY loosely here; negative connotation lol).

In a way, these three things are all connected and I think underscore her moral greyness as a character. >B) All of these things play positive, neutral, and negative roles with her character that I'm super hype to explore them thoroughly in her comic;;

Sewing and Assembling Clothing

Sadie is 5’0” and trans fem, so naturally a lot of scavenged clothing doesn’t fit her (either based on vibes, due to her height, or both). After setting up camp for the night, they’ll often wind down by taking apart scavenged clothing items and armor and create something out of them.

I showcased this briefly in the "If Dean Domino Could Take a Joke" sketch: the dead money jumpsuit doesn't fit her. She takes the first opportunity to ditch it but never really comes across fitting clothing until returning to the Mojave. Overall the discomfort of an oversized jumpsuit sagging and catching and dragging on everything, negatively affecting her aim among other things, just adds to how stressful the events of Dead Money were for her. (As if they weren't bad enough already shdh)

Jury-Rigging

While they worked sporadically as a courier from ages 15 thru 34 (BB - Before Benny), they made most of their caps as a traveling jury-rigging con-artist, overcharging for repairs through lies and manipulation. At least their repairs were usually of good quality. I’m planning for a gag or two in her comic where she’s approached by previous customers who are pissed at her for various reasons. Due to her amnesia, she doesn’t remember what she did At All. Regardless if she remembers or not, she must face the consequences of her actions; whether through that individual or through a companion who confronts her about it later.

She's not as talented with weapons as she is with armor, specializing in Energy Weapons and being quite shoddy with other weaponry. (Foreshadowing future unsatisfied customers lol)

Manipulation, Lying; Opportunistic

I’m using “talent” very loosely here, or at least not in the most positive of ways. Sadie is sly, opportunistic, and is almost Too Good at getting people on her side by any means possible, though only if it’s of any benefit to her. She’s allergic to character development /j. It’s more of a survival tactic, her ability to talk herself out of trouble something that’s kept her lying ass alive for as long as she has been, despite the occasional scuffle once someone’s found out they’ve been duped. That doesn’t mean Sadie won’t see repercussions: I will tease a falling out with Boone that causes her to wake up a little. I love morally grey characters and I can’t wait to explore this thoroughly >B)!!

A primary example of her being opportunistic: she meets Yes Man before confronting Benny, then learning the full scope of his plan. Figuring he's of more use to her alive than dead (and for other reasons, which will be explored later!), she forgoes her original plan to kill him and instead backs him into a corner and strikes a deal with him. Power plays lol. There's so much more I want to reveal about their dynamic ALONE but then this will be 9 miles long and I won't sleep tonight so I'm capping it there lol.
