It’s like when tv shows let you know something happened in the past by giving all the characters bangs.

So I come out of my cave to show new art from the day the world broke by @saladmix, MASTERPIECE EVERYONE GO READ ‼‼

I've been doing some art of my favorite fan fic of all time, but I'll show it in parts because I don't like having everything mixed up. Here comes a somewhat long text so if you want go straight to the art :]

As you may have noticed my art style is not at all consistent, I really like to try new styles and stuff, so to make more Tdtwb content I wanted to have a defined style, try to make it look like those illustrations you find in a horror book. ? With all those textures, I don't think I've made it but I'm still working on it 😓 With all this I set out to make illustrations of iconic moments from each chapter (at least iconic for me) SO HERE I BRING MY TWO FAV MOMENTS FROM CHAPTER 1, totally different from each other

First the boys singing in the car, so carefree, so happy, before all the TRAUMA, I seriously love how their personalities are already totally defined in the first scene, apart from it being them burn Leo? I love it (I had no idea how to draw a car, help)

SECOND, the first chilling moment of the fic, oh yeah, that foggy forest, silent and dark, with SOMETHING approaching and Leo THERE. I hope I managed to give the creepy vibe I wanted 🙏

THAT'S ALL FOR NOW, I'm really excited to do the ones for chapter 2 hehehe

I've been working on this since before the anniversary, I feel like I'm not good at expressing myself with words (especially in a language that's not my own) but I REALLY, REALLY, LOVE AND ADORE THIS FIC, as you can see I really put time into all of this, it's seriously inspired me a lot, I learned more about illustration while drawing this than in the two years I've been drawing LOL.

As an autistic that can't 'read' people. That can't always pick up on things like flirting, aggression, sarcasm, anger, etc.. That doesn't often know when a situation might be a 'bad' situation. Or if a person might be a 'bad' person or give off 'bad' vibes.

I sure did learn to always expect the worst of anything and everything in compensation for my deficits.

A Legacy so Grand

So I was going to just repost my poem from last year and then sort of avoid Tumblr today because…emotions, but I guess some more love needed to come out. And I’m glad to have people who understand why today can be so emotional. ❤️

I’ve been a jumbled mess of emotions today

Loving that you were here, feeling sad that you couldn’t stay

I’m sorry that you had to give so much, make the biggest sacrifice

But I’m grateful for all the light and beauty you’ve brought into my life

I don’t want to dwell today on the suffering and pain

But instead the music and laughter that have imprinted on my brain

What an incredible thing to leave a legacy so grand

That you hold millions of hearts in the palm of your hand

And I hand mine to you gladly to keep in your tender touch

So you never have to question that I love you so much

Starting Tuesday night, through the night, and into the morning a little bit, I was super fucking sick. Praying to the old gods and the new that it was food poisoning and not anything more serious because Google is scary. Stayed home yesterday and all I did was sleep. Agh. I'm feeling slightly more alive today. Very sore though 😩 I'm slowly catching up with things here! Hoping to get to read a few fics before Sunday also!
