Look, I don't know because I feel there's a lot of mixed signals.

I'm doing this off the top of my head cos i haven't rewatched a lot of Adam-centric episodes in a hot minute so feel free to correct me. But Adam kind of hinted before that his father wasn't around for him a lot even though Disco Bob told everyone he was. But he wasn't at Adam's games when he said he was. I also think that it's possible that Adam didn't really see or understand the worse side of his father until later in his life - after he joined Intelligence? Part of it is because Adam probably didn't know better as a child, never had any other father influence in his life. Which changed once he met Al! So I feel like Adam wouldn't feel that he had a bad childhood.

Of course there are bad memories attached to the house. Everyone has them but I don't think they're telling us he has no bad memories. But maybe for Adam the good memories in the house outweigh the bad ones because Bob was absent.

probably time for this story i guess but when i was a kid there was a summer that my brother was really into making smoothies and milkshakes. part of this was that we didn't have AC and couldn't afford to run fans all day so it was kind of important to get good at making Cool Down Concoctions.
