i think its so funny when people take the way donnie acts at face value even though its a horrible lie because he's a horrible liar, while understanding leo is bullshitting very well despite him actually being GOOD at bullshitting. many such cases

Being jurgen leitner the day that gerry almost killed him was probably really surreal. Imagine you’re minding your business, collecting fucked up books, and out of nowhere this goth guy covered in eye tattoos shows up and beats you half to death, then stops, goes, “no you’re too pathetic to be jurgen leitner” and leaves without further elaboration. And you dont correct him, you like being alive after all, and after that you just… continue with your life. And then several years later you tell this to some random guy in the tunnels you’ve been hiding in, and he not only knows who the goth was, but seems somewhat fond of the goth. And then you get brutal pipe murdered by the random guy’s boss. Oops

Danny purposely wrote the worst fanfiction he could think of to mentally destroy Tucker and posted it online for everyone to read.

It was a fic so horrid that is would make Lex Luthor squirm, the Justice League writhe and any bats reading it cringe so hard thier spines would be turned to powder!

...so why were the Justice League at his door? And why are they saying that they need to protect him from the people his fic pissed off? We're supervillians really going to try to murder him over one fanfic?

A nearby explosion was his answer. Huh. At least it wasn't ghosts this time. Unfortunately, his parents are involved all the same, which meant their tech was involved, and he was powerless until he could get away from both them and the Justice League who wanted eyes on him 24/7.

Thinking about the fact that, to pull Gale from the stone and get him in the game at all, you have to decide to try to touch an extremely dangerous looking swirling mass of unstable magic. Something that is, objectively, a terrible idea

Like, the options it gives you are to either touch the sigil or leave, and if you leave you just... don't get Gale in the party

You have to take the risk. You have to let your curiosity override your common sense. You have to look at this unstable, possibly dangerous malfunctioning magic sigil and go "...Ok, but what if I poke it?"

In short, to get Gale in your party, you have to do exactly what he would in that situation, and indulge in a moment of reckless curiosity. And I just think that's delightful
