Being jurgen leitner the day that gerry almost killed him was probably really surreal. Imagine you’re minding your business, collecting fucked up books, and out of nowhere this goth guy covered in eye tattoos shows up and beats you half to death, then stops, goes, “no you’re too pathetic to be jurgen leitner” and leaves without further elaboration. And you dont correct him, you like being alive after all, and after that you just… continue with your life. And then several years later you tell this to some random guy in the tunnels you’ve been hiding in, and he not only knows who the goth was, but seems somewhat fond of the goth. And then you get brutal pipe murdered by the random guy’s boss. Oops

One of my hobbies is doing things that dont line up with the holiday. Halloween? Draw sweet looking characters that nothing bad will happen to! Christmas? Listen to loud vocaloid that’s probably about murder or something but i dont speak japanese so idk, and scroll the bill cipher tag! Some random day in july? Listen to some christmas albums to find that one tso song that got stuck in your head a while ago that you can’t remember the name of! Highly recommend not following the theme

One time i left a persimmon in a bag for two months and only discovered it when my hand went through it. Very very unpleasant. Since then i have referred to the entire debacle as The Corruption Incident. I think the phenomenon as a whole can be described as a cross between Corruption and Dark. “There’s a thing there and it’s probably super gross but i really don’t want to know about or interact with it”

I think there needs to be a 15th fear added to the list and it's called "Uh Oh" and its the fear that There Is Something At The Back Of The Fridge And You're Too Scared To Touch It and See What It Is Or How Gross It May Be

I think one thing a lot of people miss about drifting stars au (and other such aus where mabel gets cut off from her home dimension) is that she has braces.

Let me explain. I had braces put in in 2018 with the expectation that they’d come out in 2020. Then 2020 happened and i felt like it would be rather unwise to go to a place where someone tinkers with your mouth during a literal plague. Sooooo they stayed in, untouched, for a WHILE. I eventually started going again (and still needed adjustments for several more months!) I think sometime in 2021? I can only be glad the shutdown happened during one of the milder phases.

Back to mabel. Unless she has the time/money and finds someone with knowledge of human dental care, she’s stuck with those braces as they are for the foreseeable future. Which depending on the version, could be years. This will alternate between annoying and painful.

Also, just removing the wire doesn’t really help! Because of reasons, there were a few days where i had the brackets but no wire. Without the bands and wire, the brackets are SHARP. My lips were mad at me until the wire got replaced. Not only that, but the lack of the pressure feels really weird if you’re not used to it.

Anyways this has been my rant on what it feels like to have braces left on for way too long. Enjoy!

The really funny thing about being three-dimensional creatures is that we really cannot conceive of two dimensions. I've probably seen Euclid and Scalene drawn in three-dimensional space twice or maybe three times as many times as I've seen them drawn in two-dimensional space. We just love adding dimensions to things, and we all know what Bill looks like when turned on his side, so surely his parents are like that too! Never mind that the only reason Bill is remotely three-dimensional is because he kind of broke reality.
