his heart sinks in his chest when he walks closer, taking in your slumped shoulders and the way your body sags even further when he hears you sigh. he knows that this exam is important for you, and he knows how easily you become stressed over schoolwork, but he never would've thought it would affect you this much.

"hey," he starts, leaning against the wall next to you before sliding down it and sitting down on your left side. "you're not crying, are you?"

"not yet..."

oscar's gentle touch on your skin sends a shiver through your body, one you hope he doesn't notice when his fingers gently pry your hands away from your face. your right hand drops to your side, but he doesn't stop at removing your left one from your face; he traces his index finger along the length of your own, before letting it slip in between your fingers and intertwining them with his.

it takes you a few moments to realize the fact that he's actually holding your hand, but when you do, your breath hitches in your throat. you had been nervous to look over at him even before, but now? no way you can muster that much courage.

"you're going to do well, you know," he says, and your heart practically melts at the soft aussie accent seeping through ever so slightly in his words. "you've studied so hard."

you merely shrug, squeezing your eyes shut in hopes of forgetting that oscar piastri is holding your goddamn hand for just one second so that you can let some helpful thoughts into your mind. it doesn't work, however, leaving you speechless yet again.

"go in there and crush it."

and then, there it is – the action that makes your knees weak, your heart skip a few beats, and your mind spin all over again.

it's not a big gesture per se, and the delicate little squeeze of your hand in his has a much bigger effect than you'd hoped. you feel a bit embarrassed, frankly, because you're over here freaking out over some simple physical contact. all you can do is pray that oscar isn't noticing it.

he does, of course, notice it. however, contrary to what you think, he finds your reaction adorable. it makes him want to give you even more, to hug you, to cradle your pretty face in his hands and stare right into your eyes.

but he'll save that for another day.

excluding the characters that im not comfy writing romantic for, for obvious reasons similar to the hugging post this is more so a rating thing instead of actual scenarios! honestly in love with these kinds of posts so im formally asking you guys to give me ideas in this vein because i love making hcs in this format/for general stuff eheheheh

SLENDERMAN:

if youve been on this blog for a while, you would know that i love when characters who dont have mouths/have nontraditional mouths nuzzle and press their face into yours. and i still love the idea, especially with slenderman ! the first time he 'kisses' you its probably the first time hes kissed ANYONE so the movement itself is probably a little... clunky... doesnt press too hard, actually i think he would struggle with the opposite. theyre gentle and fleeting, almost as if his inhuman strength and size would crush you if he let himself truly lean into it. i mean think about it, he hardly ever interacts with humans and when he does its for 'food', he has always only seen them as vulnerable and fragile. and whether malicious or not, he treats you as if youre made of glass. likes kissing the back of your hands too. 7/10, he gets bonus points since hes my fav + its the thought that counts

SPLENDORMAN:

very eager about showing you any level of affection, probably early in the relationship that he gets bold enough to kiss you. first kiss is probably more of a "in the moment" thing than "i planned this out and im going to ask" thing if that makes sense... similar to slenderman in regards that he presses his mouth to you, as i personally headcannon that his smile isnt exactly.. a real mouth, more so a false one. think like a layer of 'skin' covering his real one that he can rip out at any moment (same case for slenderman btw. same also apply to splendors eyes, more so markings than actual eyes). going back to his energy, hes very eager about it, might even lightly push you back with how much hes putting into it; he doesnt mean to, hes just so excited! likes cheek kisses and nuzzling your noses together 8/10

EYELESS JACK:

very wary about kissing you outside of those little pecks, for multiple factors. for one, his teeth. sharp teeth, he can accidentally cut you. other reason thats much darker, given that admin personally hcs that he goes into "frenzies" when hes hungry and reacts to blood like the sharks in finding nemo, if he accidentally cuts you when hes not.. well fed.. for lack of a better term... theres a risk there. REFUSES to kiss when he needs to go 'hunt' soon, not because he doesnt want you or your affection, but he doesnt want to take any risks. outside of that, he doesnt often seek out affection, so youre probably going to have to initiate it, unless hes feeling particularly clingy that day or jealous... hes very cold, please cup your hands on his face and warm him up. likes kissing your lips 6/10

LAUGHING JACK:

has to lean in at an angle in order to not poke you with his nose. has probably accidentally lightly scratched you with it when he got too excited. likes giving you forehead kisses for this reason because you can just angle your head down and he can go to town like that... sometimes leave lipstick marks on you.. if you personally hc that he can take off his makeup then please offer to fix it! hes going to be absolutely over the moon! likes wrapping his arms around you when he kisses you. does lots of kisses in quick succession rather than singular longer ones. probably wakes you up with kisses and greets you with kisses when you come home 8/10 i love him

MASKY/TIM:

nope, sorry. for masky hes not going to be taking off the mask around you at all. so if you want a kiss youre going to have to kiss the mask. though on rare occasions when youre alseep/half awake he will lift up his mask just enough to reveal his mouth and give you a kiss on your face. no particular place that he prefers to kiss you. though as said, its rare when he does this. in fact its not common for masky to seek out affection unless he feels more possessive of you than usual, be it because hes jealous or you are stress or you were just in a dangerous situation. 5/10, not much action but there is still care behind it

now as for tim... i think he would be more willing to give you kisses. probably gives you a quick one before you leave for work or something else, and greets you with one when you return home. thats a sweet thought, i think. more likely to give kisses during cuddle session, tends to kiss your cheek and neck (non sexually) while hes holding you to his chest. ponders. will give you a look if you mess with his sideburns and start giggling 6.5/10 love this man

HOODIE/BRIAN:

hoodie is a little more willing to lift up his mask around you, but only really up to the bottom of his nose. also has no preferred place to kiss you, but he seems to kiss your lips more than the other parts of you. sometimes his facial hair scratches against your skin and tickles. between him and brian i think hoodie is a little more blunt and serious about kissing. not to say hes not a little playful, love me some vaguely playful s/o hoodie hcs. probably picks you up off the ground too to 'trap' you, especially if youre fairly shorter than him (personally hc brian/hoodie is 6'') 7/10 love him

very similar to hoodie but i think he would be even more playful when it comes to you. leans into it when his facial hair starts tickling you, in fact i think it would devolve into him just tickling your sides. funny man. put him in the corner/j. like lj, he likes wrapping his arms around you when kissing you, this man is very into physical touch. will touch you any chance he gets; hand holding, cuddling, hugs, ect ect ect... sometimes starts smiling when you guys kiss so you have to give him a minute because he just has this huge grin on his face 8/10

honestly that feels plausible. killer's perception of what a functional friendship must be so messed up from his experience with chara and nightmare. he thinks a relationship is between a controller and a controlled. i imagine killer imagines his relationship with color as the first time he willingly submits to the role of being controlled. because he trusts color to handle him with care, to have his best interests at heart, to reform him into a good person.

but sometimes, there's this insidious little urge in killer to usurp color, just like he has with chara and nightmare before. but no, it's not for bad reasons this time - this time, it's for the other person's wellbeing. he has good intentions. he needs - he wants - to protect color from all the bad things that color finds himself in. what good is being someone's tool if your owner can't use you properly?

and like..he gets unbelievably confused and irritated when color doesn’t or attempts to be kind to him. he hasnt does anything to earn that, unless it is part of colors game. (In which case he’d kiss colors feet cause yes he’s learning!)

and like whenever killer lashes out or hurts color he always does it from what he believes is a place of devotion and care. color wont take the rest, he keeps trying to help people who use him, he keeps being hurt by the world because he doesnt understand how it works. its ok, killer will teach him. he will break colors legs if that means the man will finally allow himself to rest, and he cant go out where someone can once again try to hurt him.

and he’s never “needlessly”—in his definition—cruel. he always apologizes so sincerely for causing color any pain and always does his best to take care of him and never ever ever denies color what he needs or whatever he wants (except if that’s to leave killer, or to help fools who are using him damnit.) he never plays any games with colors food and drink and baths and clothes and bed.

and it only lets up when color is forced to adapt. stop trying to give killer any say over anything or control, command him to do what you want. make him do what you want. if you want to give him kindness and he attempts to argue back, sharply remind him that you make the rules here, not him.

and like..killer is sickeningly pleased when color adapts. proud of color even.

and color..he feels sick. color cant help but wonder if he should’ve helped killer at all. or if this is the only way he can help him; by making “proper” use of him, even if color must use his authority to..adjust the rules a bit.

and like..imagine after color is forced to punish killer..he like. breaks down. starts sobbing and crying and shaking and like killer, bloody broken mangled killer, is smiling and crawls in his lap and hugs him. wipes away all his tears and heaps endless praise on him.

He is extremely affectionate. I 1000% believe his love language is physical touch, so he is constantly wanting to hold hands, cuddle, or just even be near his partner. Also big fan of PDA he isn't afraid to show his love for his partner in public. It also increases dramatically when he is drunk, he would not let his partner go for a second.

Love love loves cuddles. To John MacTavish any situation could be improved by cuddling. Stressed out? Lets go cuddle, get your mind off things! Happy? Sounds like a great time to cuddle! Sad? aw that's terrible... wanna go cuddle and tell me about it? Also loves to hold his partner in his arms by them laying their head on his chest or by being the big spoon. Would never admit it but he also likes being the small spoon time to time.

D= Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

He would love to settle down, have a big house with wee barins, and of course a loving partner. He does help clean often when he is home, but isn't the best at keeping tidy. As much as I love this man, he would be a pest. He would leave towels on the bathroom floor or leave the cabinet doors open. As for cooking he is pretty decent and makes better breakfast food than dinner.

E= Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?) 

To end something with his partner that he is in love with it would have to be something awful, like cheating, abuse, or something of that nature.

He would do it face to face not over the phone or text. I also don't think he would do it in a public space, probably in the privacy of his own place or theirs.

F= Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

Again he would love to have a spouse. I feel like he would know they are the one after a couple of months but wouldn't actually purpose until a year or so into the relationship.

When he does purpose though he doesnt want a long engagement, he asked because he wants his partner as his spouse and he already treats them as such so why wait?

G= Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) 

He is usually pretty gentle with his partner, he knows he is strong and could accidently hurt them. Unless they explicitly say they don't mind him being rougher *wink wink*

Emotionally? he can be a hothead and can sometimes fly off the handle but quickly reins it in and would prefer not to fight but to actually talk things out.

H= Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Hugs are extremely common when you are the partner of Soap. he likes to be held by his partner and vice versa hold his partner. He would like to wrap you up in big bear. Hugs and just never let go and most hugs with soap. You would have to be the one to pull away because he never wants to.

I= I love you (How fast do they say the L=word?)

so for this, I’m going to give two scenarios.

If you would like to think that you are just a civi and he meets you when you guys start, you know taking interest in each other and date that way I feel like the I love youse would probably be around the eight-month mark just because with his job, sometimes he is away for his job for longer periods, so I feel like he would have to get to know you before he said that I do believe, though he would fall in love a lot sooner than him confessing to it, so he would probably fall in love around the 3 to 4 months mark, but will keep that information to himself until he’s 1000% certain that the feelings are reciprocated.

OK, in another scenario you work with him so with that I do feel like at first he would flirt a lot with you, and if you did not take him seriously, then you guys would become friends to lovers, mutual pining/yearning situation, and since you do know the world that he’s in with his job. I feel like then he would say I love you a lot sooner.

J= Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

He is very confident in your relationship, but he still does get jealous from time to time especially if you are out and some other man/person is trying to hit on you, or if you’re at the bar and somebody keeps trying to come up to talk to you he would get jealous. It all depends if he’s drunk or not if he’s drunk, he starts getting very handsy and wants to pull you away but if he’s not drunk, then he just stares at the person and tells them to fuck off, either way when he is jealous it always leads to some more spicy times if ya know what i’m sayin’

K= Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they  like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

His kisses are always super passionate/loved filled. You do not have to think for a second that this man does not love you, just by the way he kisses you. I also feel like he does a lot of whole face kisses like he’ll grab you by the face and just kiss all over your face repeatedly until you’re a giggling mess.

 For him, his favorite place to kiss you is on the lips. He will literally kiss you anywhere, but his most favorite place is to kiss you on the mouth.

 His favorite place to be kissed is on the back of his hand. He really likes it when you were holding hands and you just pull your hands up and kiss him on the back of the hand, it just makes his heart melt.

L= Little ones (How are they around children?)

This man loves children that’s not even a question. the cod fandom fight over a lot of thing but one thing that is agreed on is this man wants a lot of children.

he is just always keeping them entertained and is just overall amazing with them.

as i mentioned in part 2 of my hcs for him he is a little psycho that likes to get up at the ass crack of dawn and go running. so if that’s not your thing, he will let you stay in bed.

but that doesn’t mean that when he gets home, if he still find you in bed he won’t try convincing you to wake up and getting in the shower with him by laying on top of you all sweaty.

N= Night (How are nights spent with them?)

most night with him are spent cuddled up in bed probably spreading family gossip and watching movies.

idk why but i get the feeling he would like camping out in his back yard and watching the stars

I do feel like this man is a certified yapper, so I feel like he would start revealing things pretty early on especially if he’s interested in you.

if you want to imagine it as you are a civilian, and you two take interestin each other, before anything gets too serious he would definitely talk about his job and explain to you what happens so that you’re sure that you want to continue a relationship with him.

However, if you want to imagine that you are either part of Task Force 141 or something adjacent to that and you already know about his job, then it’s just at that point due to getting to know each other on a more deep and personal basis.

P=Patience (How easily angered are they?)

like I will mention in U, down below he does struggle with frustration and anger, but he doesn’t take it out on his significant other or gets upset with them a lot I do feel like he can get angry a lot at certain situations, but with his significant other, the only time that he would get angry as if it’s like a really, really, really really bad fight.

Q= Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?) 

Soap is extremely intelligent, i mean he had to be he’s a demolition expert, and has a great memory. So if you mention your interest in something he will definitely remember it.

R= Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

Probably when he took you to meet his family for the first time, whether it be just as friends at the time or a few months into the relationship (however you want to imagine it) and you loved his family and they in return loved you back. I really do believe he is extremely family oriented so this just solidified in his mind you were the one.

S= Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?) 

Again, this goes for all of the task force 141 men, but they are all extremely protective. When you were out, they are constantly on the lookout for any potential sketchy scenarios and constantly just keeping an eye out on you to make sure that you are safe.

and if you do not already know self-defense, he would teach you self-defense or pay for a class when he is deployed so that you can learn self-defense.

T= Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

He genuinely would put so much effort into special things for his partner, like date nights, anniversaries, and things like that, but something will always go wrong.

 For example, for an anniversary, he would try to make you breakfast in bed and he would accidentally burn the toast because he was trying to multitask while cooking and left the toast in the toaster for too long. Or booked you a reservation at a really nice hotel but it was on Valentine’s Day and it was extremely crowded so the food was taking forever so you guys just decided to leave and get takeout and go home.

 He definitely puts an effort, but sometimes things just don’t go as planned.

U= Ugly (what would be some bad habits of theirs?) 

like I mentioned in my headcanons part 2 post, most of his negative emotions first manifest as anger and frustration (!!of course not like abuse or anything!!! he just gets very frustrated and can sometimes snap when he doesn’t mean to) but as soon as he calms down, which is usually pretty quick, he’s constantly apologizing.

V= Vanity (cow concerned are they with their looks?)

The normal amount? Like he keeps up with his personal hygiene and he likes to wear normal clothes when he goes out but he doesn’t have a eight step skin care routine or anything like that.

1000% yes, he likes to be around his partner and feel comfort in their presence. So whenever they aren’t around he feels a little lost, obviously not with his job but i’m talking everyday normal life.

is a little afraid of dogs, I hc that he got the scar in his chin from a dog bite when he was little. It’s not that he doesn’t think they are cute or would be mean or hateful towards one, but he’s just extremely cations while around them.

He wouldn't stand for the obvious like sexism, racism, homophobia, etc.

One ick, I think he would get, is whenever someone chews loudly, like smacks their food. I just feel like it would drive him up the wall.

He is a stage 5 cuddler. He loves to constantly hold his partner while you sleep. He likes to half lay on top of his partner, and when you wake up, you have to literally pry him off you.

He doesn't like to sleep in pajamas, I feel like he would prefer sleeping in his boxers and or naked. He is also a total cover hog.

kai anderson is not fond of pda, unless he initiates it. this would be when hes trying to make himself look like a good partner so the public perceives him as "an average man" (i will bring up the average man again)

his staged pda may look like: hand holding, swift kisses on the cheek, arm around ur shoulder and maybe around ur waist. he would be more likely to allow u to initiate it as well. he doesnt want to be viewed as clingy or touchy

in private he is tolerant of ur kisses (on his cheek, nose, wherever), hand holding, hugging, clinging to his arm, cuddling, resting ur head on his shoulder, etc. he probably likes it, but he would never let u know that

kai has invested in stocks and a few small properties. that, combined with his job as an app developer and his parents retirement funds allows him to live comfortably. and be able to spoil u.

that being said, his love language is more likely to be gift giving.

when u wake up with kai not being by ur side, sometimes a wad of cash ranging from hundreds to thousands of dollars (lucky u ;)) will be left in his place

kai may even be gravious enough to leave a simple note reading,

though sometimes he leaves the cash not for ur shopping but for u to buy groceries, household items and things that he needs such as clothes, razors, hair dye, etc. u dont complain as u live in his house for free and he makes sure ur health is at peak condition

dates arent common, but they arent rare either so sometimes he will plan take u on a date on the days he leaves cash for u to spend on urself. on these days, the money would be accompanied by a note reading,

"I'm taking u out to dinner tonight at *place* at *time*. Dress accordingly. If you would like you may buy me something to wear to dinner. K.A"

or something along those lines. If he doesn't leave a note he'll send a text and either way he'll sign with his initials. (will def write more about this so stay tuned)

he would never let u know that he likes (not to be confused with loves) when you buy outfits for him to wear.

he probably had poor hygiene before dating u. u would've had to convince him to take showers everyday and to wash his hair more. he would shower more, but would neglect his hair. when u wash his hair, u notice how he's slightly more vulnerable with u, less hostile.

when kai needs to re-dye his hair, he asks u if u want to do it, otherwise he'd do it himself or get winter (b4 her death) to do it

this isn't original (i read it in an amazing smut but i dont remember the @ 😭) but he doesn't pay attention to conversations or u talking to him while he eats. he's focused on the food in front of him. u use this to ur advantage, getting him to buy u lavish gifts he wouldntve said yes to buying if he wasn't eating.

doesn't really give compliments of assurance, only when ure literally sobbing in his arms or in a dark corner of a room.

Chapter 8

Your back is pressed to someone's chest. It takes them speaking to realize who.

“You can't have her, Oz.” It was Lucifer!

 

“Oh? And why not big brother? She doesn't belong to anyone else, so why can't I offer her a night of fun and pleasure?” Asmodeus smiles sweetly, and Lucifer actually growled.

 

“Ozzie. You know why.” He sounded hurt and angry.

 

“Hm, but you still got that old ring round your finger. You're still waiting for Lily, aren't you? So why don't I take away your distraction?”

You feel Lucifer's arms tremble, before he lets go, and you feel your heart plummet. He's choosing her over you, isn't he?

 

He walks towards the water and you look over, just in time to see him take off the wedding ring slowly and hurl it off into the ocean full force! You gasp in shock! Hands covering your mouth, and your eyes go watery as he turns around and gives you a sad smile.

 

“You're right. She is a distraction, a distraction from all the pain I've been in waiting for someone who DOESNT EVEN LOVE ME ANYMORE!” He yelled the last part as tears fell from his eyes like a river. The wall he had built up had finally collapsed. Bee ran to comfort him, only to be kept at bay when he held up a hand to stop her. He had more to say. “It's time I let go. Let go of the ghost of her love that's been haunting me, and move on into the future.” He walked towards you, and you held your breath. He stopped just a foot away from you, and took your hands, before kneeling before you, and kissing your palm before pressing it to his own cheek. He then looked up at you with a warm smile.

“Hey you… I think you're really cool, and I like you alot. Maybe we could go on a date sometime?” You mutely nod your head, before kneeling down to his level.

 

“Luci, I love you.” His face flushes from your sincere tone and he places a hand on your cheek.

“Jesus… I was trying to be cool so I wouldn't scare you off. Can… I kiss you? Please.” You lean forward and kiss him first. It starts soft and sweet, but next thing you know he's kissing you in a way that leaves you breathless and seeing stars!

Satan huffed, “Oh shut up, we know you love us. It was that dumb bitch you married that pushed us away from you, and you from us.” Lucifer frowned, readying a defense for Lilith, when Bee spoke next.

“Yeah, seriously! She was manipulating you, and the more we tried to get you away to see it, the more she separated us from you! It hurt so much being torn from our big brother…” She hugged Tex tighter, and he rubbed her back in soothing circles.

 

“Wait, really?!” He was shocked to hear this. “I… didn't notice. She made me think you all were annoyed with me.” He held you closer, seeking comfort. The three of them had decided to ignore it though.

They all decided to find a place to eat, so they stopped by a restaurant and sat down in a booth.

The three friends had all decided to go to the bathroom, so the triplets sat waiting for a little while until Chris realised he need to go as well.

He walked towards the bathrooms, but he slowed down as he heard hushed voices in one of the hallways. He took a peek around the corner and saw the three friends talking.

He usually wouldnt snoop around like this and listen in on others conversations, but for some reason he did.

"I know right!" one of the girls giggled.

"She seems like such a fucking idiot, have you seen her?" they guy stated.

Chris made a confused face, he was about to leave until he heard his name.
