Silver's fine! His fur is just darkening with age :] Think of it like how a Siamese cat's fur works - he starts out looking almost fully white, but his limbs and face slowly darkens over time.

Oh yes, he resents him deeply. He had no part in any of this, but still slowly but surely ended up with all of Sonic's responsibilities. But by far the worst part for him is seeing how much it all affects this tiny little baby girl. THAT is what truly infuriates him.

It's come to my attention that this ask is probably about his Archie backstory, which I unfortunately don't know much about and so isn't canon to the AU ;v; I'm going with the vague idea that they don't have parents for whatever reason and had to grow up alone together

But in that case, I still like to think it has a part to play, yeah. Tails knows how hard it is to grow up without a parent, and he knows Sonic does too, so he can't comprehend why he isn't trying harder to give this kid that love and stability.

Oh, yeah. Having the Kind Patient Sweet one of the group snap and pop the fuck off on someone is scary every time it happens. All of them, Shadow included, would definitely be taken aback at the very least.

If I do end up giving them a kid, then this is absolutely the way I'd go with it. I can't let my boy go through even more turmoil in this AU, he's had more than enough :')

She does, but calling them that is a habit she picked up from Tails. Sonic and Knuckles just only referred to themselves and eachother as "dad," so when she'd talk to Tails about them he'd ask her to specify whether she meant "Sonic-dad" or "Knuckles-dad." Eventually she just started using those terms every time she spoke to or about them!

As Pitaya grows up, Knuckles graduates from "Knuckles-dad" to just "dad", but she eventually just starts calling Sonic by his name. Sonic doesn't really mind this, except for the few times that Knuckles gets to hold it over his head

The basic gist of it is that he was just really neglectful. He was barely there, and when he was, it was often only a matter of time before he and Knuckles started fighting. As an adult, she's also really upset that he let Tails take over all the heavy lifting for him when he was still just a kid too.

Once in a while! Usually whenever both Knuckles and Tails are preoccupied for whatever reason. All their stories of clever sleuthing and high-stakes tussles is what made her want to be a detective one day :]

And yes, actually, she did! Her and Echo, and occasionally Psi and Alloy, end up forming their own New Chaotix Detectives group! They just aren't nearly as active as Vector, Espio and Charmy were :')

Mighty USED to be in the cool uncle camp, but absolutely not anymore. That went out the window the second he got with Sonic. She does love Knuckles, but she's had her ups and downs with him. Ray she just doesn't really know at all, he just goes in the resentment bin by association :'D

But hmm, that's a good question. If they were to end up together, I think they probably wouldn't have kids, no. I like to imagine they'd be the type of couple who live seperately and just visit eachother frequently, and not like married with kids.

Their go-to babysitter list is very short because Silver gets very very paranoid over them :'D It consists of Blaze&Amy and Vector ONLY. And it took Espio AGES to convince Silver to let Vector take care of them in the first place

Maybe not robots, but in theory, I guess he probably could read aliens' minds. I was mostly referring to humans/mobians, but there's no reason he couldn't try on other sentient organic beings. However, I feel like they may end up being incomprehensible noise to him because of how differently an alien's brain would work to his own

As for when he's in meltdown mode and can hear everyone all at once, no, he can't hear everyone in the universe, just those that are within a certain radius. Think of it as like whatever a normal hearing range would be, just not obstructed by walls.

Yes! Espio and Silver are married and besides one or two blow-ups, they happily stay that way. And Sonic and Mighty are at the very least life partners, whether they get married or not (I haven't yet decided lol)

Besides them, Blaze and Amy are also married! And Knuckles and Rouge too eventually :]

LOL yeah the poor guy only had a vague idea of what he was signing up for. He had met Pitaya once in a while when she was young, and he knew Sonic had struggled with being there for her and that something happened between him and his friend group, but he didn't realize just how angry not only Pitaya was, but also Tails. He's using all those years of anger management to their fullest to tank this situation, I fear :'D

It's hard to say, but I think they'd be relatively close. Maybe not joined at the hip, but they'd appreciate one another. They're both very similar in personality, it's just mostly that Echo is an introvert and Silver is a HUGE extrovert. The only conflict I can think of is that Echo is very much a copycat, and I think Silver might get annoyed with that pretty quick.

Alright. Thoughts on this stupid vroom vroom alpha bl show that will consume my mind for nearly three months! (I haven't read the books, but apparently Charlie gets memory loss?)

[II] he wants to know Willy's motive and finds him suspicious or wants to find his weakness, so he acts like a 'Playboy' <but of course, none of these will go well because I'll explain in the end>

North and Sonic..... sorry for those of you who ship these two, but I never understood their dynamic, and they aren't interesting to me, but if the show does expand on their characters by going beyond "forever BFFs who secretly like each other". then you got my interest.

Chris.... now do I like to see actors coming back to the show as another character.... nope. My reasoning? Do it, but at least have the doppelganger/twin sibling/clone to be shocked! Dean.... did you die? But I swear that in one of the trailers, you and Winner and Kenta were in a van soooo maybe a bullet to the leg or a graze?

Tony.... an A-hole with multiple watch lists to be on, but that hair is still serving and I can't hate that face. I think in the episode 2 preview, he said that he has a spy, so it's either Chris, Willy, or the new mechanic.

Charlie.... the biggest red flag of all the characters... just because that boy is bound to do something stupid and have Babe go on a depression cycle again. Oh, I know what he's gonna do. When he sees Babe with Willy, he's gonna be like "I'll bring back his senses so that Babe wins and we'll be done with Willy", and he goes to the machine, which is STILL experimental and uses it and voila! Memory loss, BUT if the show does do that and then show Charlie being all hot bad boy with side-pieces all over him, then I'll forgive him. He has the potential to be a bad boy, and I WANT to see it. :)

Well, I hope we see Babe's father again.

Manifesting Jeff's pregnancy right this fucking now. Maybe because the visions take a toll on him, he uses the machine, and it backfires and turns him into Omega...... oh my god.... what if there is no omega in this world, and Pete's research has invented a machine that not only turn off Alpha's powers but also turns them into Omega?! A new subtype?!?!? I'm cooking, folks!

This are my headcanon for the Team Chaotix, because of you couldn't tell— I am very normal about them jksjsksjksksk.

Tbh, I don't know much of Nite and Don but I have seen some really cute headcanon and drawing of them basically being like some parent figure for Vector and I truly thinks it's so cute. Getting attached to Nite and Done really, and what I have seem from their interaction they seem to have a good interaction with one another! <3 Especially saw one panel were the Chaotix were trapped and Amy, Tails and Don finds them and the way Vector looks so glad to see him, plus Don saying "thats my boys." COME ON JSKSNSMSN I actually have it.

I am a sucker for family tropes, so that why I get attached and hyperfixated in their family dynamics 😔. I promise to learn more about Don and Nite (even if they may not be enough information, of them being minor character but that won't stop).

So yeah, They're be the grandparents for Charmy, Espio and Cream. Knuckles is the long distance Uncle of the group, same for Mighty and Ray being distance cousins. They get to meet up maybe ones a year in a holiday jsksjskjs. Gemerl just there exciting, he still be only loyal to Cream but I'm sure Cream would want him to interact with Charmy. (Probably they won't get along XD)

Guys… Can we talk about how movie Shadow body’s languaje ressembles the body language vibes of a dog? I mean, here some examples

—The sad puppy eyes at the flashback scene

—When he meets Gerald again he was on the defensive until he recognized him (he caught him by surprise in the middle of his mourn) and when he hears that Sonic, Tail, Knuckles and Eggman were arriving he was about to attack until Gerald tells him “calm down, we are going to receive them properly”. And only because of that he changes the strategy to ambush (Goes from agressive stance to tense, head is peerk up and eyes focused on Gerald, listening to his command)

—After ambushing them he leaves them tied up and while the crazy people do the infodumping and start to monologue he stays still and quiet, only when Gerald gives him the order to look for the key is when he intervenes in a somewhat aggressive way (when watching that scene I can't help but think an attack dogs. Well, first one he’s tensed and with angry expression, trying to look bigger to intimidate them. Then he kinda lounges towards them while demanding for the key, defintly this has a ressemblance to an attack dog barking to either a threat or prey)

—When they were going to steal the second key Shadow wanted to do the job and his body language, again, is reminiscent of a guard dog pulling on the leash and barking to attack. Only when Gerald convinces him to leave the job to the mad scientists in exchange for “getting revenge like never before” does he calm down and stay behind (lounges while talking, again, ressemblance to an attack dog aggressive barking)

—Interferes when he realized the Robotniks plan failed, so he headed straight onto searching the second key and after attacking Tom he just went back to his master, protecting him and giving the object to him (I don’t think I need to elaborate this)

—Also the fact that whenever he is near Gerald he’s just there, watching in silence and his body tensed, attentive and waiting for the next command as if he was a trained dog (body tensed, eyes focused on Gerald, defintly waiting for the next command)

Movie Shadow’s life is just simple miserable because he was probably conditioned by G.U.N into obedience and Gerald exploited this to use him as a tool for his revenge plan. And remember, he might be dubbed by Keanu, but mentally he’s a teen like Sonic. So yeah, here we have fucked up symbolism, showing throught non verbal languaje how due to bad luck, manipulation and grief Shadow got dehumanizated and turned into a tool.

Also yes, due to how mad Gerald was in this movie and as pointed by other posts, he stopped caring for Shadow or even he never cared, forcing this confused, lost kid into a master-servant bond all his life

One day I hope people realize that Kitsunami already "broke through his programming" back by issue #56 of Idw Sonic

He had an entire mini arc where he dealt with being without Surge for the first time, and in the real world. He met Sonic and his friends directly, tried to work out what his purpose would be without Surge in his life (gave it a shot trying to devote himself to Sonic, seeing him as the next best thing after Surge). And when it was all said and done, he decided after experiencing more that at Surge's side is where he wanted to be.

As of the recent IDW issues, Kit isn't sticking with Surge "because of programming" and "because he just needs for other characters to friend him and turn him into a better person". He is at her side because he wants to be. He protects her and aids her because he cares about her, not just because he's serving the strongest guy in the room. And he's not interacting with others because he's decided not to give a shit about anyone else other than Surge (because from his pov, even the "good guys" are fake. From his pov, everyone is someone trying to lie and manipulate their way into pulling him and Surge to their side)

Kit already has decided what he wants to do with his life. And he decided it on his own. Not because of anyone else's wants or wishes. That's the whole point of his speech at the end of #56.

He's burying whatever his and Surge's past is and moving forward with his conviction to be with Surge because it's what he wants.

i had really hoped that sonic heroes would be an easier game to play than sa2 and in some ways it is (no! chaos emerald! hide and seek stages!!!!) but it's still very frustrating that it takes me so many tries to beat just one stage - i think i'm just used to games where they make it so it's conceivable to win a level or a combat situation the first time around if you're good enough, whereas with sa2 and heroes it feels very much like you have to fail a handful of times to see what you're actually up against and to prepare for the next time, and that's extremely offputting to me. and the homing attack is somehow Even Worse than it was in sa2, which is SAYING SOMETHING.

however tonight i realized that my gamecube controller joystick has a weird thing where it sticks to one side sometimes in a way that is hard to notice when you're locked in the game, so it's possible that i've been playing these games with a significant handicap. in which case i don't feel quite so bad for sucking so spectacularly at an easy game for babies.
