“95% of Palestine’s population doesn’t agree with homosexuality.”
72% of Ukraine didn’t either, does this mean they deserve to be bombed and killed?
50%-60% of Venezuela, my country, doesn’t either. Do they deserve to suffer and live in shambles?
1 in 5 Russians said they believe all gays should be eradicated. What if a genocide happened in their country? Would you justify that?
I experienced homophobic bullying in school, but I would never justify or remain passive if I heard that one of my bullies had been bombed, killed, or was starving, simply because they were rude to me.
Wait til yall find out that 64% of Israelis don’t support same sex marriage 🤡🤡🤡
“They would literally throw you off a roof if you set foot into their country.”
Hamas or Palestinians? There’s a fine line between not agreeing with homosexuality and being openly hostile towards them. If you were to ask that 95% if they would openly harm gays, I’m pretty sure that number would be significant lower.
70%-80% of people in Gaza do not support Hamas. And the people that do are the ones that should be associated with Hamas- which we do not support.
Palestinians may have traditional and “outdated” values, but I’ve heard a majority of them value kindness, compassion, and respect.
“Why do you care? You’re not Muslim.”
Because I want to value human life.
I’m trying really hard to educate myself and unlearn what the u.s. military has spoon fed me my entire life.
It’s chilling to realize how the U.S. military brainwashes soldiers and military brats to believe that all Muslims are evil, that corporal punishment is effective, that human life holds no value if someone disagrees with them, and that war is necessary.
I’m trying my hardest to unlearn this shit, I’m trying so hard. But BPD is nightmarish when you go back and forth with old beliefs. It’s scary. I also don’t have a lot of empathy, unfortunately it’s something I lack and struggle with…
I’m not doing this to be “trendy”, I just don’t want to be close-minded and carry hate in my heart…

It's been a while since I posted about my country... however I wanted to say something.
This is a kind reminder that Venezuela isn't free yet. We're under a dictatorship that started 27 years ago that not only destroyed our economy, but also our safety and that threatens our human rights. Basically, those who make known the reality of the country are the Venezuelans who live abroad, cuz if you ever dare to tell people about this while living in Venezuela... mate, you're done. Either you get imprisoned or killed by the government, or both.
We fought. For decades we have been fighting for our freedom, at the cost of prison or death and still we ain't giving up. But don't you dare to call us cowards because we escaped the country. We were starving and we wanted to be alive.
We cannot end this just by "putting our best foot forward and continuing to fight". I repeat, WE ARE IN A DICTATORSHIP. The only people who have the power to overthrow Nicolás Maduro at this moment are the Venezuelan militia, which sold its soul to the government so... that ain't happening until they get on the side of the Venezuelan people.
We are 8 million Venezuelans living abroad, enduring insults, discrimination, xenophobia just for wanting to preserve our lives. There are thieves and murderers among us, that's for sure, but that doesn't define the Venezuelan person. We are hard-working people, who despite the circumstances are optimistic and try to see the positive side in everything. We laugh at our tragedies, we hope for a better future but above all: we don't give up.
So if you see a Venezuelan living abroad, hug them. We suffer a lot because of leaving our country and culture. And if you see news about Venezuela on social media, have empathy for them. There are still people who have remained, people who have lost family members, friends, mates, people who can't afford to escape this hell.
I write this with tears forming on my eyes. I'm a Venezuelan who lives in Colombia, a Venezuelan that with her family had to leave the country. My father had received death threats for not supporting this bloodthirsty regime and my mother was sick, unable to get better since meds can cost a fortune. My brothers and I, exposed to propaganda at school, at the strees, everywhere. We didn't come to this country to steal, kill or do any harm to the inhabitants here, but even in 2025 we are still treated like this, like many Venezuelans in other countries.
I miss Venezuela like hell, everyday. I miss my cousins and neighbours, my house, my life there. But I know I can't return yet, not at this moment.
I don't even know why am I writing this, but since you're reading I want you to think about this later... We didn't mean to hurt anyone. We just want to live. The Venezuelans still living in Venezuela... they haven't given up. But like us, they want to live. We want freedom, but not at the cost of streets stained with blood. We were hurt enough, it's enough.

As the tensions in Venezuela become apparent once again (they have never truly left), I would like to share this informational twitter post from Caracas Chronicles summarizing the current situation we are facing!
While we have spoken about the same things over and over again, I think it wouldn't hurt to reiterate the key points for the international audience, so that everyone can have the context behind our fight for freedom in the following days.
Here are the links provided in the original post:
1.
2.
3.
As an addendum, I would also like to remind everyone that the government is actively restricting our access to the internet and social media. Sites like Twitter have been blocked by the mandate of most internet providers and mobile data services, and cannot be accessed without the usage of VPNs.
Additionally, the government is now trying to block the usage of VPNs themselves, making it even more difficult to access information from the inside. They wish to make us deaf and blind to María Corina's and Edmundo's information, as an attempt to thwart organization against their dictatorial regime.
I wouldn't be surprised if they resorted to power outages, or restriction to the internet connection itself, as they have shown to use in the past. They are already resorting to repression and police brutality against pacific protestants at this point in time.
All this to say, please have us Venezuelans in your thoughts, and if you are a believer, your prayers. Our president elect Edmundo González Urrutia has received immense international support from heads of state, both Latin American and from the North, so I have high hopes that we might finally have a free country once and for all.
Please spread the word about any information relating to the country that you see, we don't know how much longer we might be able to spread the word ourselves!!!!
🇻🇪
#venezuela#free venezuela#venezuelan resistance#vuelvan caras#all eyes on venezuela#musings#this might not be as articulate or extense as i'd like#but something is better than nothing#guys you know this is not about left vs rights#this is about human rights and freedom against oppresion and misery

WE ARE IN A MOMENT OF DEEP DESPAIR, AND OUR HEARTS ARE HEAVY WITH SORROW.
WE KNOW THAT YOU FEEL WHAT WE FEEL, AS THE SITUATION IN GAZA IS TEARING US ALL APART.
Every day in Gaza is a new tragedy, the war continues, and the bombs never stop falling. They talk about a ceasefire in the news, but on the ground, all we see is more bloodshed and destruction.
The feeling of death follows us everywhere, with constant shelling and airstrikes that show no mercy. Our children are living in freezing cold, under tents that offer no protection from the wind or rain. Life here has become harder than ever, prices are soaring to unbearable levels, and hope for a better tomorrow feels further away than ever.
We don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but we live in constant fear that the war will end our lives before it ends itself. We pray from the depths of our hearts for peace to return, and for this nightmare to end before it consumes everything.
if you wish to help us, please share this post with everyone. your voice might reach someone who can make a difference and help end this suffering.
DONATE HERE
DON’T DELAY! DON’T LOOK AWAY!
the best time to act was yesterday, and the second best time is right now.

The fact that they decided white lions = white people… Idk man, but for me its a big red flag for what you said, albinism in nature has more to do with being disabled than with colonialism or some pretentious mental ramble they had. Yeah, disabled pieces of trash exist, but in this case… Let’s see, shouldn’t Mufasa be blamed for colonialism too? I mean, he winned reign over a territory where he was an outsider. Also, why the white lions went into killing other lions? Wouldn’t it be better to enslave them since they are settlers and a representation of colonialism? (Sorry not sorry, but watched both Sonic 3 and Mufasa and gotta say it: Gerald and Shadow had better logic behind the revenge plot and don’t make me elaborate about SA2 lore)
This alongside with the machism of this movie by literally saying that Mufasa got super powers bc he was with the females.
Idk, but defintly reeks of false female power bc it made look like being female makes you superior and special and therefore turned something that shold be the status quo (the capacity to be a competent leader and apex predator) into an exception… Which is defintly something from the XIX century to justify the gaslighting women suffered… And then you get Sarabi being made with the “strong and empowered female” in mind and then in execution she does nothing…
The bad guys in Mufasa: We were all ostracized for having a phenological disability and because of that we’re gonna fucking become genocidal colonizers
My honest to god reaction:
#why does this movie exist anyways?#mufasa spoilers#fantasma rant and ramblings about stuff#like yeah pirated mufasa before going to see sonic 3 and well I didn’t expected much and still got dissapointed#like why!?!?!?#was it really necessary#if they didn’t told about the colonialism subplot or whatever it was I wouldn’t had noticed it even if I literally studied a history degree#bc ya’ know I don’t see the point between albinism and colonialism#also those lions are a native species but since disney doesn’t make research anymore they forgot to add the subspecies factor#like they would had made them an invasive species to that territory better#but since this lacks research and is only based on the idealization of nature 🫠🫠🫠#also pointing the outsider argument doesn’t work in this case bc Mufasa was an outsider to Melele aka the great grand valley#so arriving there and be named as king wouldn’t mean that he’s a colonizer too?#ughhhh#also this movie reeks of gaslighting#and mansplaning#like Shadow said: Gabriella should kill them both#but replace Gabriella with Sarabi#despite everything

Both is good
Maekawa's Shadow or Fowler's Shadow? (includes movie spoilers)
I could have never excepted that somebody one day would have portrayed a Shadow that does match the original in being a compelling character, while keeping his own twist.
Both incarnation are pretty much sincere and spontaneous, not excessively gruff and both are amusing.
They have different strenght.
For Maekawa's incarnation, his strenght is his brain. Greatly shown in SA2, but also suggested in Sonic Heroes (Whan he is amazed by technology) and in Sonic 2006. Many Shadow's minigames involve math. And is shown that G.U.N. value Shadow's brain.
Maekawa's Shadow is among the friendliest incarnation.
Fowler's Shadow unlike OG Shadow is a regular alien who was born naturally and that was brought on Earth by circumstances. It is shown very well in Shadow questioning his own motivations and even Gerard's motivations, showing he is capable to think on his own.
This incarnation is very relatable. The viewer understands his actions, even the most violent because they are never an end in themselvesIs. Sonic X and Sonic Forces failed in this while many fan work (yes, fan works) such as Sonic Multiverse succeded.
Sonic Multiverse (YT) - Shadow causing mayhem. For a good reason.
Shadow taking down Tom (thinking he was Commander Walters) was a very understandable action from him.
Walters was the last person he saw before losing consciousness in the pod (I wonder what was that substance, I hope not liquid nitrogen. N2 is among the most unsettling chemical compound to me). And he looked at Shadow in a way suggesting 'You won't cause trouble anymore, we won!'
Liquid nitrogen has a boiling point of about −196 °C
In this, Maekawa's Shadow is very tame and patient In Sonic06 he was provoked quite often before snapping.
One thing both incarnation have is that they're brave and it shows in daily life, but they show their courage in different way.
Maekawa's Shadow is willing to explore the unknown without fear.
Fowler's Shadow keeps a steady gaze even when facing the most horrorific things.
Of course both are willing to self sacrifice.
Shadow was describled by Maekawa as "dainty and pure"
Maekawa did extremely well on the first but failed on the latter. His Shadow is surely dainty, but he is also a skilled schemer who use deceits as one of his favourite tools to get the job done. I would not consider this incarnation a liar. He never lies to his friends or in daily situations. But he easily resort on lies if they are the most efficent way to get the job done (in SA2 his plan unfolded FLAWLESSY. Never seen him doing his job so clean anymore after SA2).
Fowler's Shadow is certainly less dainty but surely he is pure and sincere, even to a fault (he reveals Gerard's plan to Stone without thinking twice as if it was the most natural thing to say). I might say it is the purest incarnation of the character.
Is hard to choose on the two, they have a fair amount of compelling traits.
The advantage of Maekawa's Shadow is that he appeared and expressed himself in four games, so we know fairly well what he is like in different contexts.
Fowler's Shadow for now appeared in an advertisement and in a movie. I don't know what his destiny is. it looks promising, but we need to wait and see.
On a personal though of the character: Shadow is passive. He doesn't work alone as a character because he takes decision by observing how others act, toward him or toward the world or the task. For this Maekawa's Shadow is never alone. Even when he goes alone, he takes decision after having observed what his peers do. I think Fowler should keep this attitude.

——————
Eng: I just found the most insanest similarity you can imagine: Endou Mamoru is like Maria Robotnik because even if they are happy and positive characters, well… If everything the girl touches becomes edgy then with Endou, basically, character he meets is a character that is alredy edgy or turns edgy (Someoka, Kidou, Gouenji, all his friends from Aliea academy, Fubuki, the dark emperors, Tobitaka…)
#inazuma eleven#ina11#endou mamoru#also got the sonic brainrot#so this is basically a ramble#fantasma rant and ramblings about stuff#i mean I know most of this characters aren’t edgy edgy and are just very confussed people or just normal#but you gotta admit that some of this characters have pretty fucked up lores too#like Kidou being an orphan that has to protect Haruna until he makes a mistake no one would blame him and develops trauma for that#or Gouenji losing his mom and then going throught grief and Yuuka in a comma and then abducted and the problems with his dad#and then when he finally took a break from that has to turn into basically a terrorist mafia boss bc Daigo exists#Also Hiroto and Midorikawa being former terrorist that pretended to be aliens but were being used as super soldiers and lab rats#or Fubuki’s mental issues#or Fudou being someone distrustful and with a lot of power hunger issues due to trauma that is a big troll at the same time#or Kazemaru and the burnout he decided to make everyone’s problem in the anime#or Tobitaka

Totally agree 😂😂😂 (Is this a dangerous terrorist? Yes it is 🤭🤭🤭)
Well, returning to the Gouenji simp side after having my Shadow simp phase for a while (but defintly not abandoning it) and having watched Sonic 3 and enjoyed how my “monster.zip-running in hedgie hardware-that works on a weird mix of puppy/cat software” son got portrayed as cute, badass and bloodlusted bastard at the same time…
Its me or in the Inazuma eleven fandom we don’t talk enough about how this lil’ pookie guy can kill someone with a soccer ball or a well placed kick? I mean, he has magic soccer + the highest kick stat in the game, sooo…
Also, the fact that he turned into one of the most dangerous terrorists in Japan for a while even if its tragic and was for the greater good at the end

Why I Think Stone Should Be Shadow's Human Buddy:
- Both processing their grief.
- Shadow gets someone who's used to dealing with overdramatic rage and not talking about feelings.
- Shadow wakes up in a panic after a nightmare and trashes his room? Stone replaces everything without complaint and adds a force field around his stuff so he doesn't break anything else at night. Shadow mentions he misses having a record player? Stone buys him a new one and throws in every album released 50 years ago just in case.
- Stone gets someone who genuinely appreciates his help and who would actually do nice things for him in return.
- Shadow insists on helping Stone cook. Shadow helps clean up his own messes. Shadow tries to listen to his advice.
- Riding motorcycles out in the wilds and then setting up a tent and stargazing together.
- Also they're just both kinda hecked-up little guys.
- Like both probably mad at GUN still but settle for clandestinely thwarting their plans undercover.
- Also Stone kinda wants to take over the world in Robotnik's name but also wants to protect the world he sacrificed himself to save but also is too nice to use Shadow as a tool.
- Somehow they end up settling on "take over the coffee industry by offering better job benefits and use sustainable business practices to help protect the environment"
- Shadow helps transport the beans to reduce fuel costs. He likes having a job that's not just "run around to generate energy and let scientists poke at you"
- GUN is appalled when they find out the ultimate lifeform is working at a coffee company. "You have the power to level or fuel entire cities and you're wasting it on coffee?!"
- "I like coffee." Shadow glares dramatically.
- Team Shadow fits into dynamic as well - Stone having access to Eggman tech could be how they find Omega, and he and Rogue would be very catty at each other.
- Stone asks Tom and Maddie for advice on living with an alien hedgehog. They start giving him parenting advice.
- "I'm not a parent" he says
- but then he sees Shadow in danger and the switch clicks to "crap in trying to cope with the loss of the man I loved I accidentally adopted an edgy teenager"
- Just let him join the family dynamic as the weird uncle who watches soap operas with Knuckles and Maddie and helps Tails test inventions and threatens GUN with an entire arsenal of Egg tech if they try to go after the silly little alien critters ever again.

Been watching a LOTTA ghibli films while I babysit my nephew and my brain kinda went off and was like ghiblify Shadow and Maria and I started brainstorming a slice of life sort of au where in the 1990s Gerlad is a mad scientist working to cure Maria of her NIDS and he accidentally creates a powerful ass lil unstable hedgehog who becomes Shadow.
Probs doodle a bit more of it when I figure more stuff out but I love doodling in the ghibli style, think imma call this au 'My brother, the hedgehog'

Yo lo veo para el canon de las pelis 🫠🫠🫠
Shadow's name being Shadow can just be passed off as some edgy thing for the fandom, but consider:
Experiments aren't usually given names, but after Shadow follows Maria around the ARK enough times to become a common occurrence, he becomes "Maria's Shadow."
It is enough that Gerald officially names the project, Project Shadow and the hedgehog is known as such.

I saw some of your posts about Gouenji and is it serious that he had a chance of dying in the fifth sector? I don't remember any specific information in the movies or games
If you squint into the interactions, characterizations and the fact that people that turned good at the end had died previously its easy to see it. Not like in-game Daigo had compassion towards subordinates and Gouenji knew way too muc
