A lot of Larries think that there is a super injunction banning photographs of H & L from being shared but I find that unlikely given that only two super injunctions have been granted since 2010 and both were related to corporate disputes. Super injs also can't stop people sharing pics on social media.

If a gay celebrity was going to try and use legal proceedings to protect themselves there wouldn't be need for a superinjunction - a privacy based injunction would be enough. I do think there's some sloppiness in how the terms are used - for example I've heard people talk about rumours of a superinjunction around a married couple who had a threesome - and suggestions that it was Elton John and his husband. If it existed it probably wasn't a superinjunction, but just a normal injunction.
But as for the particulars I didn't know anyone did believe that - I haven't seen it discussed very much.

They also found the likelihood of being killed in a traffic crash increased by 28% over that period. Other data, like studies from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, came to similar conclusions, reporting that traffic fatalities hit a 16-year high across the country in 2021. The TRIP report also looked at traffic fatalities on a national level and found that traffic fatalities increased by 19%. LP: What role might COVID play? PA: Research points to the various ways COVID attacks the brain. Some people who have been infected have suffered motor control damage, and that could be a factor in car crashes. News is beginning to emerge about other ways COVID impacts driving. For example, in Ireland, a driver’s COVID-related brain fog was linked to a crash that killed an elderly couple. PA: Unfortunately, we’re repeating many of the same mistakes because we now know that the bird flu has made the jump to several species. The most important one now, of course, is the dairy cows. The dairy farmers have been refusing to let the government come in and inspect and test the cows. A team from Ohio State tested milk from a supermarket and found that 50% of the milk they tested was positive for bird flu viral particles.

Each cow acts as a breeding ground for countless genetic mutations, potentially leading to strains capable of jumping to other species. Did you see the movie “Contagion?” It was remarkably accurate in its apocalyptic nature. And that virus only had a 20% death rate. If the bird flu makes the jump to human-to-human transition with even half of its current lethality, that would be disastrous.

#my characters#she was (shocking to no one) a side character in a plot from forever ago and while i fleshed out her bg a LOT#she never got her own actual story ? the plot she was in had a lot of characters so her and her best friend myo were like... cameos#in other character arcs rip to she having her own#basically she had light powers and had a kind of whispy clear happy look (top)#and then the big bad guy corrupted her and she got dark powers#so myo and her start to think she is sick and then big bad shows up and tells myo that if he wants to help yuma - hed help#so he manipulates the two into working for the bad guys who id like to point out! think they're the good guys#so yuma keeps having cloudy and foggy memories and nightmares and she doesnt understand whats going on with her#and she tells myo who hasnt clued in yet and he tells her shes fine and shes too nice to do what she feels guilty for#and then after its all kinda said and done and the big bad dies the corruption disappears bc he was the one causing it#and at that point myo knows the horrible things hes kind of helped yuma do and the actual things yuma has done#and he goes to rem who a lot of people avoid since rem has mind reading and memory manipulation powers#and he asks if rem can help yuma forget everything bad#and rem - who is the unfortunate right hand of the big bad who feels so much guilt for everything he has done -#asks him if its what yuma wants cause it isnt his place to change it without her consent as well#bc rem was actually the one that yuma interacted with most outside of myo#but as far as actual plots and arcs rem was more important ? common? idk ? as a focus#so despite yuma having a lot of established background and drama she never had her own ... thing#but as the dark corruption gets to her she loses the clear stream vibes and is like an oozing oil spill#and it kinda festers into her becoming like an eldritch monster type being from the grief and guilt her conscious has#while polluted by darkness sooooo#she just kinda becomes a monster in the background of the plot its fine she gets better#and that was storytime in the tags bye

So the thing with seeing your favourite band live is that you will never ever feel normal about any of the songs that you heard them play then. Caught up on the tmbptmbg marathon today and it felt like being punched in the gut repeatedly (slash positive... but also aargghfhgg painnnn. You know)
#and they can fit so many songs in one concert because they're so short so you know. the effect is very far-reaching#btw one insteresting result of this is that man it's so loud in here was the 2nd song played during the marathon i think#and you would not believe how much of a tearjerker this one could become#i always liked this song a whole lot but i totally wasn't expecting to enjoy it THIS much live#something magical and one of a kind about that moment one of the best moments of the whole show. for real#it's like man. it really is so loud in here. and it's beautiful. we're all here together in this moment.....#and then later in the marathon they played when will you die and can't keep johnny down one right after the other#like wow are you trying to kill me actually. and again neither was even that much of a super huge fav before this#i'm sure all of this is just a common concert goer experience#but i'm sort of amazed to also be able to live this myself you know......#the rare beauties of life.....#this has been today's update on the current state of things which is that i'm fully back in tmbg madness hell as of recently#to no surprise. that's the only notable thing btw no need to talk about anything besides that#goosepost

got myself a little pocket radio bc you never know when severe weather might knock out the power or cell towers but apparently there aren't any weather radio stations i can pick up :/
#there just aren't any in my area#and im right in between the two closest stations so they interfere since they're on. the same frequency#there ARE other radio stations in my city im listening to one right now that plays alt rock#like From This City not even a neighbour city#but there's none that report weather#i wanna have a weather radio bc i have a deep fear of tornadoes#ive been doing tornado drills since i was a small small child they're a pretty common thing here#and i have had. so so many nightmares where i got stuck somewhere during a tornado#stuck in a car as it gets picked up or stuck at school watching the building just disintegrate in front of me#one time we did actually get stuck at the school during a tornado warning they couldn't let us go home bc we had to shelter#so we were kept at the school for maybe an hour until the warning lifted just curled up with our heads down for so long#i still instinctively know the tornado sheltering position- legs folded under you; head down as far as possible; hands covering your neck#even though i haven't done a drill since i moved nearer to the lake#tornadoes get less common closer to the lake but living in the middle of nowhere they just Spawn Everywhere#another time we got word of one touching down while i was on the school bus going home#i was literally the last student on the bus and we were like at the corner about to turn to my street#and the bus driver decided to just stop there and let me sprint home bc it was faster cutting through the woods than going up the driveway#she just opened the door and said 'just go straight to your basement don't stop don't wait for anything'#she waited to make sure i could find the key bc i was home alone and then just drove the school bus to her own house so she could shelter#I've never seen any tornado damage firsthand but like. you never know when one could just wipe out a town#especially small towns like my old hometown if that place ever got hit by a tornado nothing would be left#it's literally one street that's the town center and most of the residences it's TINY and getting smaller every year#i think it'll be a ghost town soon most of the businesses have shuttered and a lot of houses are condemned

okay. can someone reassure me that I will have other chances to see the northern lights because I am feeling very end of the world-y right now
#i was so excited that i caught a big storm this time and i drove out to see it#and you can't see them w the naked eye here but you could in night mode#but. my phone doesn't have a night mode.#its supposed to and i googled it for an hour but my phone is old and none of the settings are where they're supposed to be#i followed a guide on how to manipulate the pro mode to be a night mode but i still don't have the settings he was talking about#and sitting on the ground while everyone talks about how cool the lights are when i can't figure it out kind of. broke something in me idk#are strong solar storms as common as they seem to have been this year? if i travel one day very far north a few times will i ever see them#because i feel like i missed both of my fucking chances and this is the only thing on my bucket list#and now im crying on a road in a town i don't know and i don't want to go home bc my mom will laugh at me#i asked her if she would drive out to meet me here and she said no#im trying really hard to be positive about this but ive never ever seen news about solar storms like this until this year#and im really worried i will never see one again bc these were freak events or something#please don't give me tips or ''you should have done x'' because i want to kms rn and that will not help at all

I think one problem I've had in fandoms, especially the ML one is how mean girls cliquey "friendship" groups can be. Artists in particular.
"Friends" that force you to follow their ideals and headcanons and beliefs and yell at you for following or being friends with people they don't like. "Friends" that look down on other artists and people because of a skills difference or shipping or favourite characters. "Friends" that try to cosy up with you because you have a big following and won't hesitate to make you feel like shit.
From my experience in the fandom (and I've been here from the beginning, once being just a lurker), other than rampant cyberbullying, catty behaviour and dumb idiots trying to force their purity culture, there really shouldn't be a reason to force your friends follow who you say they should follow. That they should like what you say they should like. This is so disgustingly controlling and insane. (And of course, I understand there are exceptions but I'm talking about people putting down others for dumb shit).
So what I'm trying to say is to think critically, don't fall for peer pressure and don't let the "popular" people make you do things you don't want to do. You can have contrasting opinions and like different things and hate different things and still be friends or be civil. It isn't that hard.
