a moment of writing-related moping:

i don't know how i am ever going to get back to being able to write novels again. i could do it until the 2020s but i think 2020s life broke something in my brain and soul and now i'm just gonna spend my whole life not writing and being heartbroken that i'm not writing and it makes me sooooooo depressed. i don't want that to be my life! i want to be able to write and then at least have had a somewhat happy life because i spent it writing aka what i always wanted to do with my life! but i can't see any other possibility right now besides never writing successfully ever again because i am dead inside! (disclaimer: a lot of this depression is probably also from the current state of the world and it's sending me into a writing-related panic because i always feel like writing's going to be the thing that makes my life worth it -- so then of course i spend all my time not writing!)

existential crisis yay! i literally can't imagine writing a single sentence right now, or ever feeling immersed in a story again. i am just BROKEN of BRAIN. i am full BRAIN SCRAMBLIES. whatever i was once, i am NOTHING NOW. fun stuff like that!!!
