number 63 from the smut list and it's lando who says it and also him who loses because I just know that boy is vocal in bed ALSO I'M SO HAPPY YOU GOT TO 1K BABE YOU DESERVE IT❤️❤️
63. “first one to make noises loses”
SMUT UNDER THE CUT (minors dni)
“lando,” you softly said, pulling away from the heated kiss. “we can’t.”
his eyes fluttered opened, a confused look on his face as he kept his hands under your shirt, thumbs tracing soothing circles on your skin.
he didn’t even have to say a word, his eyes were begging you for a reason.
“everyone’s home,” you explained.
“so?”
“we still have a few days here,” you answered. you were staying with his family during the holidays, and just the thought of them overhearing what you were up to wasn’t ideal.
“we’ll be quiet,” he mumbled, his lips capturing yours in a searing kiss once again.
you chuckled against his mouth.
“what? don’t think you can keep quiet?” he asked, pulling away from your lips to look at you defiantly, a smirk spread across his lips.
“no. i don’t think you can,” you playfully retorted; lando was nothing if not vocal, which normally wouldn’t be a problem for you, but this time it was different.
“alright,” he rolled his eyes, taking your words as a challenge as he confidently added: “first one to make noises loses, yeah?”
his words were low and sultry, hands slowly pulling your shirt up. and you knew you should’ve turned him down, but the second he attached his lips to your neck you turned into putty under his touch.
the sound of the rustling bedsheets and the soft sighs that escaped both your lips were the only sounds that could be heard in the room as your clothes were discarded on the floor in between lingering touches and fiery kisses.
he was hovering over you in no time, your legs hooked at each side of his hips as he lined himself up with you. your eyes closed as he thrusted into you, a soft sigh leaving your lips at the feeling.
his lips were brushing against yours, breaths mingling together as he rolled his hips into your heat slowly.
your gaze met his, lust burning in his pupils as he buried himself deeper with each drag of his cock.
he tried to muffle a moan by licking into your mouth as he bottomed out, his eyes closing at the intense feeling. he stilled himself, trying his best to not lose himself as he let you adjust to his size, your little pants and desperate sighs making it hard for him to not fuck you senseless into the mattress.
he then pulled out before slamming into your core again, your walls clenching tightly around him at the burning sensation and your lips parting in a silent moan.
and he tried, but he couldn’t contain the loud groan that escaped his throat, his face hiding in the crook of your neck.
“you can’t fucking do that when we’re meant to be quiet,” he growled against your skin, his body slightly trembling over you.
“does that mean i win?” you asked, a playful glint in your eyes.
“shut up,” he mumbled, lips capturing yours again as he started picking up the pace of his thrusts, soon making you writhe beneath him as you forgot your no-noise rule, his name falling off your lips like a prayer.

I know people are just joking when they say stuff like “Mithrun is an old grandpa he doesn’t know he can’t say those words anymore he doesn’t know they don’t have any book tokens anymore” because of these extras below:
and whatever but like it honestly drives me kind of crazy. Like can we look at this for a second.
He was the lord of the dungeon for five years. Then he was being rehabilitated for TWENTY YEARS. That’s not super long for elves, that’s like four years for us, but that’s still a long time. And then he was the captain for another fourteen years, but he didn’t have any desire other than getting revenge on the demon.
Mithrun hasn’t really been properly socialized for a total of FORTY YEARS, which is like eight years for elves. He was totally shut off from the world, then he was rehabilitated, and then he was with the Canaries on a onetrack mindset to go after the demon. Mithrun was doing bad, he was recovering, and then he was better enough to be the captain of the Canaries again, but he was still not “better.” In all that time, the world didn’t wait for him when he was at his low point. It didn’t wait for him when he was spending all that time recovering. And by the time it’s near the end of the story where these comics take place he’s just been so far detached from the world. Like he’s most likely never tried to go buy a book token after becoming a dungeon lord. He’s most likely never talked to people and learned the new slang of the time, he’s never been caught up which words are good versus outdated. Mithrun is technically better enough to be captain, he’s better enough to have reintegrated into society, but he’s not quite adjusted yet. He’s been out for so many years suffering under the hands of the demon and scraping his way through recovery and trying to work to get to the demon that by the time he’s stopped and done stuff like gift exchanges or whatever many aspects of the world are vastly different from what he remembers. I think that’s a lot like a lot of people in real life too who have similar experiences. People in mental health centers or hospitals who spends even just months recovering can miss out on so much.
Does this make any sense? It’s kind of late so I don’t really know what I’m saying and I’m probably repeating myself but like Mithrun was at a low point and then he was recovering for so long!!!! And then when he’s reintegrated back into the world it’s changed without him!!!! He’s not some racist old man!!! The world just kept on turning when he was struggling and how is he even supposed to deal with that? Like he doesn’t have much desire but everybody is so upset with him for not knowing things like outdated terms or using cash because he didn’t know there were no more book tokens and he just can’t have known that because he literally wasn’t in a state to keep up with all of the stuff like that and now everything is different and maybe he doesn’t care because he has no desire to but like aghhhhhhhhhhhh sob sob sniffle oughhhhh 😭😭😭😭 Mithrun 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 imagine I’m shaking him back and forth that’s how I feel right now oughhhhh

I think one of the reasons why Light’s death feels so much more satisfying in the manga than it does in the anime is because he genuinely has nobody.
In the anime, after Matsuda shoots him, he cries out for Misa and Takada who very obviously aren’t there (and nobody says anything), but Mikami, who is, despite everything, still devoted to him, literally takes his own life to distract everyone and give Light a chance to escape. He still dies in the end, but there was still someone there who was on his side.
In the manga, Light initially orders Mikami to help him, but, upon realising how pathetic Light is, he yells at him, telling him that he isn’t god, he is just scum. Light then cries out for Misa, but Near reminds him that she is not there and is currently staying at the Teito Hotel. He calls out for Takada, and again, Near reminds him that she’s dead (Near’s silence in the anime vs his reminders in the manga seem like a small difference, but I feel like they put a lot of emphasis on how no one is there to save him and it’s his own fault). He starts pleading for someone, anyone to help him. Finally, with no one else to rely on, he turns to Ryuk and begs him to help, but obviously Ryuk doesn’t care and writes Light’s name in his death note.
In that moment in the manga, he is truly alone. There is nobody who both can and wants to save him, and he dies in the warehouse, screaming about how he doesn’t want to die. He doesn’t get the opportunity to escape, he doesn’t get the flashback of his past self, and the tone doesn’t feel sad, like in the anime. It just... happens.
