I took a nap and had a dream MCR made a post with 30 seconds of their new single they would release in late December and that there was a remaster/new versions deluxe edition of Bullets to be released. Huh.
#i sent it to my friend as soon as i woke up#and i was immediately like. December sounds realistic but also fuck why so goddamn late#on the one hand i want it to be one of those struck with red dodgeball things#like. I'll take it if it's the only way we can get new mcr music. if waiting many months is a requirement for it to come true then be it#but also. fu*king december#mcr#my chemical romance

NARUTOP99 was a worldwide poll to determine the most popular character of the original Naruto manga. From December 17, 2022 through January 31, 2023, fans of the series could vote once per day for one of 488 possible characters. The results were announced in April 2023. A special manga omake featuring the most popular character, illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, will be released at a later date.
The 488 candidates are seemingly compiled from the four supplementary databooks: Rin no Sho, Tō no Sho, Sha no Sho, and Jin no Sho. As such, characters that were not featured in any of the databooks, notably Boruto Uzumaki and his age group, are not included. This also means that some characters are listed twice, notably "Tobi" and "Obito Uchiha".

(My reaction after learning that Sakura has surpassed Naruto) Although this is not surprising, because in the manga, thanks to Masashi Kishimoto, the image and character of the heroine is better than in the anime, as I felt) The actress voicing Sakura is wonderful, but I like her voice in real life. Her voice is very beautiful, smart and serious and I dream that in the future she will voice Sakura like that.)

Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins (Taiwan, 1991)
We continue our exploration of the Gaijin Live-Action Trilogy with the second live-action adaptation of Dragon Ball, a movie called “Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins.”
I’d like to think the Taiwan studio behind this movie saw South Korea’s “Fight, Son Goku! Win, Son Goku!” in 1990, and was inspired to make their own unlicensed film a year later. But despite a number of similarities, the two movies have different styles. “Fight/Win” was a very juvenile kind of film, using puppets and theme-park-style costumes to capture the cartoony aesthetic of the franchise. It adapted Akira Toriyama’s butt-fart-poop jokes and worried that the movie might be too highbrow for its audience, so they threw in a scene where Turtle bites Master Roshi’s scrotum, and several moments where characters grab each other by hooking their fingers in each other’s nostrils.
The Magic Begins is probably also aimed at children, but it has a little more dignity. It’s basically a standard kung-fu movie with Dragon Ball characters and situations. For the most part, it’s a direct remake of the first animated Dragon Ball movie from 1986, what we now call Curse of the Blood Rubies. So let’s be clear about the lineage here.
First there was the original story arc, covered in the first 23 chapters of the Dragon Ball manga from November 1984 to May 1985. You know the tale: Goku meets Bulma, they go searching for Dragon Balls, and eventually meet Yamcha, Oolong, and Puar, then end up having to thwart the evil scheme of Emperor Pilaf.
Then, there was the Dragon Ball anime, which retold that same story arc in the first thirteen episodes across the spring of 1986.
Then there was the December 1986 movie, originally just called Dragon Ball, then renamed “The Legend of Shenron”, and then “Curse of the Blood Rubies”. This tweaked the plot by replacing Pilaf with a different villain, King Gurumes, who was planning to wish for a cure from the curse that had afflicted him.
Then Korea adapts the anime into “Fight/Win” in 1990.
Finally you get “The Magic Begins” in 1991, which takes the plot of the ‘86 movie, swaps Pilaf back in, and makes a few other tweaks.
So yeah, if you’re looking for something original out of this film, forget about it.
I always have trouble telling this movie from the Korean one, so I’ve put up a helpful image at the top to remind me. On the left is the flag of Taiwan, and on the right is a white parrot, who played the role of “Snow White”, this movie’s version of Puar. You might be thinking of the Puar puppet that smoked a cigarette, but he’s in the Korean movie. In Taiwan, it’s all about white parrots. Or maybe that’s a parakeet. Who knows?
Everyone got new names in this movie. I don’t know if that was a feeble attempt to protect the studio from Toei’s legal team, or if someone genuinely thought this would make the characters wholly original. I have a hard time keeping them all straight, so I’m probably going to just refer to them by their true identities. But for the record, the aliases are as follows:
First up, we have the Pilaf Gang. Pilaf (center) is known as “King Horn” in this movie. On his left is Shu, aka “Zebrata”, and the blonde on the right is Mai, aka “Malilia.” Shu and Mai act a lot more like Bongo and Pasta from Blood Rubies, but their visuals are completely unique, so I’ll give them some credit here. As for “King Horn”, he looks like Pilaf if he were tall and competent. He also has some super-powers, and he leads his troops into battle, so he really has no connection to King Gurumes at all, except for his role in the plot.
Next we have Son Gohan (left), who is known as “Sparkle”. On the right is his adopted grandson, Son Goku, known here as “Monkey Boy”. During the movie, it’s said that “Monkey Boy” is the 91st Descendant of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King from the ancient story “Journey into the West”.
Then we have Pansy on the left, who is known as “Jade” in this movie. If you don’t remember Pansy, that’s okay, she was a movie-only character who appeared in Blood Rubies, most notable for her all-red costume. As “Jade”, she doesn’t stand out much here. On the far right is Bulma, aka “Seetou”, and standing between her and Goku is Oolong, who is known as “Piggy”.
Finally, we have Yamcha on the left, who is renamed “Westwood”, and on the right is Master Roshi, now called “Turtle Man”. So for the most part, everyone’s pretty recognizable. Roshi has a turtleshell, Oolong looks mostly human but his schtick is unmistakable, and the bad guys may be different but there’s no mistaking them for villains. I think the only point of confusion would be Bulma and Jade, but they’re the only girls in this thing, and Jade is smaller, so it’s not too hard to work out who’s who.
All right, let’s get started. So the movie opens in Jade’s village, where her father, the new chief, receives the village’s prize Dragon Pearl in a ceremony. Then Pilaf’s army invades, and basically mows down the entire population. The chief and the local monks all pray in the temple. Pilaf barges in and takes the Dragon Pearl by force, and kills everyone. Since Pilaf already had a Dragon Pearl, that brings his count up to two. And he already knows where to find the third.
Meanwhile, Gohan and Goku are meditating in their home, when Gohan has a Bad Feeling About This. He reminds Goku of their duty to protect their Four-Star Dragon Pearl, but doesn’t explain why they protect it or what would happen if it fell into the wrong hands. Goku is confident that he can defend the Pearl, as he is armed with his magic staff, which can extend in length when he twirls it around. Also it comes to him when he calls, sort of like the Silver Surfer’s board.
Then Gohan gives Goku a test of his abilities, by which I mean a pretty kick ass fight scene out in their back yard. This is easily the coolest part of the movie. I’m not familiar with the kung-fu genre at all, so maybe this movie is trash by comparison, but I’m pretty impressed with the action. It’s hardly a breakthrough in special effects, and it’s definitely hokey, but it’s still fun, which is something I’ve needed after slogging through all of Dragon Ball GT.
This also seems to be the film’s main contribution to the wider Dragon Ball mythos. We’ve never really gotten to see what life was like for Goku back when Grandpa Gohan was still alive. All we know is based on their reunion during the Fortuneteller Baba arc, and various throwaway lines of Goku’s when he would reminisce about living alone in the woods with his grandfather.
This is the first time I know of where I’ve gotten to see the kind of nonsense they might get up to during the day. We know Gohan trained Goku, and this feels like the sort of exercises they would have had. Just two guys bouncing off trees, shooting fireballs and trying to hit each other in the balls with the Nyoi’bo.
I’m not sure why Gohan looks like Robin Williams playing Harry Potter, but otherwise, it seems pretty authentic.
For instance, at one point, Gohan catches Goku’s staff and uses it to fling Goku into the well by their house. But he doesn’t come up right away, so when Gohan gets concerned and goes to check on the boy...
BAM, Goku suckers him into taking a punch to the face. Cool!
So Goku wins the test of strength, but then he loses a Rock-Paper-Scissors game and has to cook dinner, so he goes fishing. And by “fish”, he means “crocodile”, because Goku doesn’t have a tail in this movie, so instead of doing what he did in the manga, he just swims up to a crocodile and shoves his staff into its mouth to incapacitate it.
On the way back, Goku runs into Bulma, and I think we pretty much know how that goes. She nearly runs him down, but he stops her car with his super-strength, so she starts shooting, but the bullets don’t kill him. Goku thinks she’s a monster or a witch, until she explains that she’s a girl, and thankfully we don’t get into the part where she offers to let him touch her butt. However, once Bulma learns that Goku and his grandfather have the next Dragon Ball she’s looking for, she realizes that Gohan is in danger. A couple of tanks filled with Pilaf’s goons drove past her earlier, and she now realizes they were headed for Gohan’s place.
But by the time they get there, it’s already too late. Mai and Shu have wrecked the whole house and there’s no sign of Gohan. Goku and Bulma chase after the bad guys but Bulma’s jeep gets destroyed. This is playing out pretty much like Curse of the Blood Rubies, except the chase was aerial. Also, when Bulma’s vehicles got wrecked, she would just get out another one from her store of Hoi Poi Capsules. But none of that seems to exist in this movie, so instead Goku recruits an elephant to take them where they need to go.
This leads to the part where Oolong is chasing after Pansy, except... well, Oolong looks very problematic to say the least. In Blood Rubies, he looked like a giant red monster, but here, he’s normal-sized, and the actor is covered in black paint. I’m... pretty sure this is not as accidental as the studio would probably like you to believe.
Fortunately, his true form just looks like a regular dude with a dumb haircut, so we can move on.
Then Yamcha and Puar show up. At first, Yamcha looks like a gunslinger from a Western film, but when Goku deflects his machine gun fire, he removes his hat and poncho to reveal...
Revolutionary Girl Utena? They went to a lot of trouble to recreate the scene from Blood Rubies where Yamcha draws his sword all cool-like.
It’s a pretty cool fight, which ends with them grabbing each other by the nostrils, a la Polnareff and Hol Horse in Stardust Crusaders, but then Bulma shows up and Yamcha loses his nerve.
It’s basically the same as Blood Rubies, although Parrot Puar kind of changes things up. He’s not a shapeshifter like the real Puar, so he doesn’t have a backstory with Oolong, so instead they just argue over who will win the Goku/Yamcha fight. Then, after Yamcha flees in terror from Bulma, Puar mimics Bulma’s voice to terrorize him some more.
Later, Bulma asks Pansy about her backstory, and she reveals that her father was the village chief from the start of the movie. Her parents were killed during Pilaf’s invasion, and before she died, Pansy’s mother told her to flee and seek help from Master Roshi. Oolong has heard of Roshi and knows where he lives. Bulma quickly realizes that Pilaf must be the one behind the attack on Goku’s house, and he must be planning to gather all seven Dragon Pearls so he can summon the Dragon and have his wish granted. Pilaf said as much at the start of the film, and Bulma knows the same legend. What the gang doesn’t know is that both Yamcha and Mai are spying on them, and they each run off to act on what they’ve learned.
As in Blood Rubies, Yamcha plans to get the Dragon Pearls for himself and wish for courage around women, so he can finally marry. Unlike Blood Rubies, he already had a Dragon Pearl in his treasure horde. This doesn’t affect the plot much at all, but it’s treated like it’s important later.
So while he rides a jet ski (!) to get to Roshi’s island first, Mai reports back to Pilaf, who plans his own attack on Roshi and the others to shut them down before they can interfere.
So now we enter into the Roshi part of the movie. I don’t know why, but the people who made this movie really love Master Roshi. I say this because the scene on his island starts at about 42 minutes in and continues until the 65 minute mark. Plotwise, it’s virtually identical to the Roshi’s Island scene from Blood Rubies, but it gets heavily expanded. Here, we actually see Yamcha contact Roshi and warn him about Goku. That’s pretty superfluous, but what’s worse is that they show Roshi even before Yamcha arrives. He tries to use the Magic Cloud, but it won’t obey his instructions. In this continuity, he can stand on the cloud, but he falls off as soon as he tells it to do anything.
When Goku and the others arrive, Goku and Yamcha fight a little, then Roshi settles things with the cloud, and since Goku can ride it, that proves he’s telling the truth, so Roshi gives it to him for keeps. As for Yamcha, Roshi tells him he can’t leave the island unless he surrenders his own Dragon Ball to Bulma. Yamcha agrees, and when Bulma kisses him in gratitude...
His eyes turn into slot machine rollers and they land on hearts. He panics and flees on his jet ski.
But we’re still not done, because Roshi has his own Dragon Ball, and he offers it to Bulma in exchange for nudity. As in Blood Rubies, Bulma convinces Oolong to impersonate her. Oolong agrees, but demands nudity for himself as payment. Bulma’s like “Dude, you can look exactly like me whenever you want. You can see me nude any time you feel like it.” That doesn’t seem to bother her much at all. Anyway, Oolong-as-Bulma meets Roshi on his front steps and they do some weird dance together before she takes off her top.
But we’re still not done, because the gang decides to ask Roshi if he knows where the seventh Dragon Ball might be located, since they now have six accounted for. Roshi is too horny to think straight, so he can’t answer. It’s like they forgot that Bulma has a machine that detects Dragon Balls. Wait, Dragon Pearls. Sorry. Maybe her Dragon Radar got lost when her Jeep was wrecked? I don’t think so.
Then the bad guys attack and blow up Roshi’s house, just like in Blood Rubies, but not quite. This time, Roshi shoots some ki blasts at them, but he doesn’t blow them away like he did with his Kamehameha from that movie. None of his attacks make any difference, as the bad guys can just teleport back into their aircraft once they have the Dragon Pearls. Roshi tells the others to flee on the Magic Cloud while he holds them off, and it seems like he’s killed in the battle...
But no, we’re still not done with this guy, because he shows up to meet the heroes when they regroup on the mainland. And this is where things start to deviate from the plot of Blood Rubies, because in that movie, Roshi refused to help Pansy save her people, because she had already gathered all the help she needed from Goku, Bulma, and the rest. Here, Roshi’s pissed about his house, so he’s rarin’ to give the bad guys a whoopin’. Then Yamcha shows up and asks to join their team because his Dragon Pearl got stolen too.
So now we have five characters--Goku, Bulma, Pansy, Roshi, and Yamcha-- each personally connected to a Dragon Pearl stolen by Pilaf. So the whole team has a stake in this, except Oolong, who....
No, wait, it turns out Oolong had a Dragon Pearl this whole time. He said it was given to him by the Pig Fairy, his distant ancestor who had some connection to the Monkey King. Oolong says that he was told to keep it a secret, but somehow he knew these guys were part of his destiny, I guess? Anyway, he says that this was why he chased Pansy in the first place, because he knew it would bring him into contact with the other five Pearl-Bearers. I mean, I’m kind of paraphrasing it, but that’s the way I understood what he said.
So then the good guys just storm into Pansy’s village and start shooting everyone. Oolong takes out a bunch of Pilaf’s soldiers and even kills Mai while she’s fighting Goku and Yamcha. What the fuck? Why is Oolong suddenly so important? Anyway, Roshi fights with Shu, and then Bulma shoots Shu in the back while he’s distracted. This seems a bit underhanded to me. Mai and Shu are ridiculously OP in this movie, but still.
Then Pilaf comes out and reveals he has Gohan held captive, and threatens to kill him if Goku’s group doesn’t surrender the last Dragon Pearl. Goku wants to give in, but Roshi reminds him that they’ll all be killed if Pilaf gets his way. So Pilaf tosses aside his hostage and tries a different trick...
Zombies! I think? He uses some kind of power to put a blue filter over the camera, and then all of the townsfolk appear and start attacking the heroes. Maybe they’re still alive and they’re just being mind-controlled, but Pansy’s parents are included in the group, and Pansy said they were dead.
Things look hopeless until Goku summons the Magic Cloud and rides it over the villagers’ heads, knocking down Pilaf and cancelling his spell. Then all the villagers collapse, so I think they’re all dead.
Then Gohan and Roshi get together and Gohan tells him that the other six pearls must be in Pilaf’s stomach. I’m not sure how he knows that, but he must have seen Pilaf swallow them, or he watched Curse of the Blood Rubies and remembered that this was where King Gurumes hid his Dragon Balls. So Roshi decides that they’ll put the seventh Pearl in his mouth and that way Pilaf will explode when the Dragon emerges. This all made a lot more sense when Bulma figured all this out with the Dragon Radar in the Blood Rubies film.
Anyway, it works, and Goku usess his staff to drive the last Pearl down Pilaf’s throat, so at least he helped kill the bad guy. Then this yellow thing shows up and says it’s the Dragon. I’ll just take his word for it.
Pansy wishes for her village and its people to be restored, and then her parents turn out to be okay, so maybe they were resurrected, but I’m not sure. Anyway, the good guys win.
Then Yamcha turns to Goku and goes “I have one more wish. I wish to fight with you!” And Goku’s like “Well your wish is granted, buddy boy, let’s rock!” and the movie ends with them leaping at each other. Weird how they went with this instead of Bulma and Yamcha getting together, but that plotline didn’t seem to get as much attention as it did in other versions. Also, you’d think Goku would be more relieved to have his Grandfather back.
And that’s the end. Akira Toriyama is completely un-credited here, even though he created all the characters and like 70% of the plot. Maybe more than that, depending on how much input he had on Blood Rubies.
It’s a fun little movie to watch, but definitely not something I’d recommend to newer fans. On the other hand, you can find the English dub of the movie on YouTube, so the price is right.
For my part, I’ve heard about this thing for years, and I always wanted to check it out, and now I’m happy to say that I’ve scratched that itch.

“Rebecca English tweeting that the reality series will air in two parts. First three on the 8th an the last three on the day of Kate's carol concert. She also says Harry intends to repair his family relationships after his revenge tour is done . That's nuts..”
If this is true, maybe they are force to annouce their divorce by this month , like i dont know legal thing etc that they cannot hide from media.
Make sense for nf to demand show release pronto because what the purpose of “love story” if the main character no longer together. Obviously new project not an option.
If divorce coming & nutmeg knw she will be finish, this will be her last biggest FU to brf especially william & catherine. Release 2nd part which i believe contain all the “dark/hurtful drama” etc on catherine big day. No matter if it is “her truth”, people especially thse dumb rota will continiously talking about it forever. Even charles 1st king speech will be judge etc.
What you this of this?
The release of the Netflix series and their separation/divorce are two different things.
I'm not sure when it is going to air. I haven’t seen a specific date listed on Netflix, but I don’t check often on that regularly. I’m used to Netflix just dumping everything at once, but I saw someone on reddit mention that Netflix releases episodes of their reality series on a weekly basis. We’ll just have to wait and see what is available come Thursday.
Netflix is the one who determines the release schedule, not Meghan. Netflix is the one who wanted this to air in December, a month after The Crown. It would suit H&M better to have it released in January to help with Harry’s book promotion. Also, people may watch or read about H&M in their miniseries and make the easy decision to ignore Harry’s book. Why would you need to read Harry’s book when you can see his dumbass on Netflix? Or on any clips released?
I’m not worried about Catherine. She’s a professional. I think getting worked up over Netflix releasing episodes when she’s filming the Christmas special is a disservice to her. Kate has her own life separate from whatever Fleet Street is reporting.
I don’t think it’ll be a “they” being forced to announce they’re divorcing. I think Harry will realize he can either announce he’s getting divorced now, or he’s going to be stuck with her forever. Harry is getting close to the point of no return. He either has to suck it up and leave her now or risk having no chance of going back to his family in the UK at all.
We’re still waiting to see if he’s going to show up to NYC on Tuesday. That may be a big sign of things to come.

不好惹 - Don’t Mess With Him
youtube
Someone asked me to think on my sins, but I reflected many times daily [1] and found that the fault lies not with me. Someone said that I’m a big monster [2], but I’m just an annoyance who likes to hem for two seconds before speech [3]. A friend has come from places distant [4], we must torment their spirit and labor their limbs, yeah ~ starve their body, impoverish their person, cause disorder in their actions [5] and whip them, maybe ten times. Then finally, banish them to some other court [6].
Passerby A: Boss, what are these hard-boiled eggs selling for? Lü Shu: Boiled eggs eh, one-fifty each, three dollars for two, ten dollars for six with a dollar change. Passerby A: Then please give me three. Lü Shu: This is a small business which doesn’t take credit ~
Excuse me, I shall leave now. Listening to you monologue has wasted ten precious minutes of mine.
Of people with shared mutual dislike, there are many. This decision to keep a distance is not bad at all. If you ask me how far is enough, I would say, ideally, a separation by life and death.
This lifetime of mine, I’ve never asked anything of anyone, besides the psychological SHADOW of everyone seated here. I am naturally best at filling people with impotent infuriation.
Oh, and cutting ties.

OMG I saw the OP for this donghua 大王饶命 in December and was utterly obsessed. It’s SO GORGEOUS. Very very imaginative! I still watch it at least twice a week. Forgot I’d translated it for a friend bc I put it in our chat and never went back xD. We were supposed to be going out in two hours (to have tofu and then teaaaaaaaa), but I shared the vid and she said she watched it on loop for a while one year ago, but doesn’t know what the lyrics say.
So like obviously, I was a liiiiittle late to the outing. LOL.
Sharing it here now!
I don’t want to ruin the gorgeousness of the video with fonts so, here it is in English just so you know what it’s about (I think there must be quite a number out there!) ~ IT’S SO IRREVERENT AND FUNNY.
There’s a lot of it that must be references to the novel or donghua, and this amazing MV made its donghua a place on my to-watch.
Don't take any of the quotes too seriously 🤣 this POV is trolling all the way.

Closure
05 January 2023, 22:26
I think, the time has come.
Enough.
I cant bear anymore pain.
It's been so much hurt that i can't feel myself anymore.
I don't cry, i don't starve, i don't angry, but to be honest rather than i "don't", it is more suitable to said that i "can't"
I can't cry. The tears just won't come out even my heart hurts so fu*king much.
I always ended feeling cheated, feeling left, being thrown away. I am and never be your priority. I can't use he/him pronouns, i can only use he because i couldn't be him. Ever.
I feel that I've been an empty shell of a flesh. A hollow body. Nothing is inside me now. I used to have a heart, i guess. I don't feel anything anymore. I don't know. Maybe the pain has been consuming me to the deepest inch of my body. I can't feel my body. I just walking by intuition. Walking nowhere. I don't know, what should i do?
I've promised myself and i promise you that i will be gone when the time comes. But as for now, i guess this isn't the time yet. There's still time. Yes, the concept of measuring non-stop, consistent change in our surroundings. Yes, consistent change. Till this day i completely abandon the concept of time. I think the day will come after the day, doing the same thing all over again, while find myself enjoying the life of my utopia. My dream. My fantasy. To be with you 24/7. I'll always be there. I promised you that i will never go. There's no such things as change, until the end of December i was shocked to hear that from you. My heart felt beaten and being cut deep into the last bit. It hurts. Learning from previous case, i know that you can't lie well. I could see through you, D. That's why, when i feel something wrong, it will usually occurs and it makes me overthinking and also overheated. My heart's hurts, my head's hurts, my body's aching. I feel like stabbed a million times right in front of me. So much hurt that i rather die than felt that thing.
And yes, i drove all the way from home to Bandung to meet you. I want this thing to be cleared. I want to hear it from you directly. I want to know all things completely. You can't imagine how mixed my feeling was when i drove from Bekasi to Bandung. I prayed to God only that i don't make any mistakes on the road, so that i could arrived safely.
When i met you, i was so happy that i want to hug you tight but judging from your expression, i felt discouraged and refrain myself. After hearing and learning all the explanation from you, my overthinking, my late night thoughts, my intuitions, turns out it was all correct. I am being cheated, by the person i love the most. By the person whom i dedicated my life for. By the person who i thought wouldn't betray me. But that's what it is, i feel betrayed. Yeah, i know at the very first place, i said that i will and have to be ready. But the shittiest thing about this sudden situation is, why the hell it has to be the end of the year? Why it has to be right before Christmas? I want to feel the joy of going back home with my family, and as i promised i will meet you in Bandung. But why? Why won't you be patient just a little bit longer? Why couldn't we cross the 2023 with joy? With happiness? For the both of us? After that, i know that you have to gone, and i have prepared myself to be ready. BUT NOT AS SUDDEN AS THAT!
Then you blocked all my contacts, all my social medias. I don't know what makes you do that. I felt clueless. The only thing i could think is Why? Why the hell? Why the fuck?
We agreed to be friends. But why do you did that? Why did you block me? Why, D? Why?
Last night i couldn't sleep. All i felt is i having a nightmare. But the opposite of a dream, this, is a real life situation. Why did i have to go through this? What did i do wrong, D? Please, tell me.
Then this morning we had a call, and we had an agreement that you would unblock me. I feel relieved and feel more relaxed, so i decided to go home and i drove from Bandung at 10 a.m. Everything went smoothly until this night i checked my phone only to find that I've been blocked. Again. Twice. I've been blocked twice, by the same person whom i called her home. By the person who i loved the most. I felt so fucking confused. What the fuck? We just had an agreement this morning, hadn't we? My heart was pounding erratically. Why did this happen again. WHY. I tried to reach out but you don't answer me. at all. The time i wrote this part, 22.58, i checked my phone, make sure if you replied my message, and as we know that there's nothing. Fuck.
I'm tired. So fucking tired. My heart hurts more than it should be. I think... this is enough. This is the closure. I buried my pride in front of you, D. I gave you everything i could. I don't know what to say anymore. i just. I feel like giving up. I gave you my best. I give up not because i don't love you anymore.
I still, and will always love you, D.
But now, I feel so fucking tired. I did everything alone. I felt like i am the only one who wants this relationship (as friends) will last. You look like you would the opposite. I give up. I give up trying. I give up to make this relationship last. My heart hurts. I felt like there's someone who will appreciate my effort.
There will be a phase where the most patient ones will fed up, the most caring will be indifferent, the most loyal ones will be leaving, if you don't appreciate their patience, care, and loyalty.
That's why, i think this is enough. This is the closure. I have never change, but you're the one who change me.
This is, the end of an era.

Everything wrong with Spanish Princess-1x06
Catherine waits for dispensation and dowry, writing to her mother.that was true.
But to say how she and Henry are in love and plan their future and how they’d rule together, is totally false. In real life she barely could not see Harry that much on few occasions she visisted court between 1503 and late 1505. And not much after too. Partly because she was often sick in real life during her dowager years, and because his father was very protective of his son.
Catehrine is seemingly compassionate towards lady Pole-but actually i think such character would wish lady Pole to be well, in order to keep her mouth shut.
Isabella died in December 1504. Juana and Philip ships were carried by storm to English coast in January 1506. They skipped 2,5 years! The missed due date of dowry, etc. They missed Henry VII trying to console Catherine after her mother died, fiasco in Andalusia, Catherine moving away from Durham house to court, dona Elvira fleeing, Catherine’s father remarrying. And much more!
Basically they skipped 2,5 years of the drama! Those were very eventful and emotional years for Catherine!
Juana’s outfit is not even remotely Spanish nor Netherlandish. Nor English But since no constumes truly are accurate(rarely even remotely) i should stop complaining about that.
So lady Margaret speaks Latin and Spanish(in the tv show only), and instead talks to Philip and Juana in English? And they understand her?!
I don’t think they’d take Philip’s sword.
Juana and Catherine barely spoke during the visit, in real life.
Juana is being jerk too-does it run in family? Juana’s religious doubts are imo very overexagerated in TSP. She attended masses, she just wasn’t overzealous as some of family. That doesn’t mean she was atheist! And I hate that it was presented thaht way!
Tbh, Philip looks too handsome. In real life he was ugly. Habsburg Empire again?! Juana ordering her husband around!?
Henry says Ferdiand woudln’t pay the dowry-that is true. He tried to push that on castile solely(whetever rightfully or not idk.). But nobody would think Catherine’s rank became too low to be wed to future King of England, this is false narrative, myth often repeated-which wasn’t real cause for Catherine and Henry VIII not marrying in 1505.
Henry VII wouldn’t refer to Juana and Philip as spanish royals-but as castilian royals. Lazy writing! Oh, more of false fued between father and son.
Scenes set in summer etc. even though visit of Juana and Philip happened in winter and early spring. (This keeps happening and I am sick of it. I know of tv shows which also shooted in summer, but they at least pretended it was not so!)
Tbh, one tapestry hanging on those walls would pay lady Pole’s taxes. Presenting it otherwise is false. Tapestries were VERY expensive.
Then Catherine asks Juana about her new baby boy, upon which Juana replies her boy stayed at home with her children and nursemaid (she means wet-nurse-wrong use of language, lazy writing!).
This is very inaccurate, as i said Ferdinand was born in March 1503 in Spain, and he stayed there! Not with rest of his siblings. Then in September 1505 Juana gave birth to daughter called Mary-who was newest baby in the family. Yet they skipped her!
Henry VII was nice to Juana, true but he and Henry VII were way more interacting with Philip, way more honoring him over her. Way more than in all of scenes in Spanish Princess. Harry considered Philip good friend, became his penpal and was deeply sadenned by his death. It shaken him.
Henry VII certainly did not forget himslef while looking at Juana, he always kept state business as priority. He negotiated bethrohal of Mary Rose Tudor to future Charles V, and in great detail he negotiated proposed wedding to Philip’s sister Margaret of Austria. She rejected the match.
That is what happened in real life.
Juana didn’t throw wine at her husband in public. In fact entire visit she was acting completely sane. But Juana was not at all as cynical about men. It is also unclear who is abusing whom-Juana Philip or Philip Juana in TSP.
How long is Rosa pregnant now? 3 years?! 3,5? Her baby should have been long born and walking!
It wasn’t just about fleet of Juana and Philip being damaged, but also it being scattered across southern english coast, it took lot of time to get back together.
Juana certainly wouldn’t be rudely implying English need gold. In fact, Henry VII gave ‘loan’(gift) to Philip’s father Maxmiloan-of 100,000. He had money to throw away. And he used it to get Edmund de la Pole.
Absolute misrepresentation!
Rosa loses the baby. Philip cheats upon Juana in public(as men appear to be in habit doing in this tv show. Fuck in public, all the time.)
Juana says she doesn’t believe in god, outloud. Untrue.
Walked through fire to get to her?! That is not what happened in the tv show nor in real life. She also says Harry will do anything she asks-that is now how yu speak of amn you supposedly love. But one who is mere pawn to you.
(This not acceptable portrayal of Catherine! Nor Juana.)
Pretty sure I’ve seen piano in background scene of Juana and Catherine talking in church. Tudor soldiers stopping Juana?! Why? On foot she’d not get far, plus there was another gate behind 1st! She would still be on royal property.
Philip speaks English?! And says his father supports Edmund de la Pole?! WTF?
Henry VII is suggesting to disown his only son?! To be slapped when you say you can’t wait your parent to die, is totally justified. But would never happen in real life, though. The feud is complete fiction and Henry VIII didn’t try to break his son’s will.
Juana and Harry never had affair, as i said he spent more time with Philip.
(I agree with Thistle-you’d have more evidence for affair between Harry and Philip than of Harry and Juana! based upon this visit. Harry was fallowing Philip almost like puppy.)
Juana’s supposed torture has no historical evidence to support it. It’s possible she suffered emotionally due to not being zealous enough and being part of zealous/very pious family, but there is no evince that she was ever tortured due to this. And I recall seeing tumbrl posts about where such rumour started-not contemporary rumour at all. (And even those wouldn’t have to be reliable, as I often point out.)
Juana tells Catherine their mother renounced her, and Catherine slaps her. It didn’t happen in real life. But still Juana nor Philip intended to pay Catherine’s dowry.
Henry being sexist in his speech, Juana supposedly seducting Harry. (what will be next? Will her next daughter be Harry’s? It’s so ridiculous!).
Catherine calls her sister Joanna, instead of Juana. Aren’t they supposed to be Spanish?
Juana had no part in handing over Edmund de la Pole and she wouldn’t call herself Queen of Spain. She was Queen fo Castile only!
(As long as her father lived, lazy writing!)
But she was right Maxmillian wouldn’t support Edmund de la Pole’s claim.
Margaret saying Juana doesn’t believe in God? In public?! Also, Juana was never confidently standing up against her husband, in real life.
Lady Margaret being heartless villain and making lady Pole miserable. So wrong.Juana being heartless to Catherine, stating that instead of helping her sister she’d rather bethrohe her own daughter english prince.
The supposed bethrohal between Eleanor of Austria and future Henry VIII, didn’t take place! It’s myth. Nothing to back up that it occured in 1506.
Yet they go once again they don’t care.
By this point it is laughable to say this is real story of Catherine. We see nothing of her actual personality, nothing of her household, nothing of the actual exchanges between royal courts, nothing of her actual relationship with boy who was to be her husband. It’s a story, but not her story.

Daminette December Day 1
Daminette December Day 1
@daminette-december2019-2020
Hiii, so i guess I’m doing this, so I’m gonna make a few of the prompts part of a series, I’m gonna make between 2 and 3 series, I’ll give each one their own name so everyone can tell the difference because some prompts just won’t work in the medieval au I’m using for the first series, but I’m very excited for this, I mean I might get behind later in the month or post a day late but I’m pretty excited. Anyway I hope you guys enjoy it!!
Princes and Pedestals
Chapter 1 – Inspiration
Next:
Marinette walked down the hall, behind Fu, zoning him out for the most part. She’d heard this speech a million times.
‘You represent the Order. You are our Grand Guardian. Appearances are crucial. Be polite, be pretty, be perfect,’ he always said, or well, that’s what it boiled down to in the end. But his personal favorite line was never left out of any of his lectures.
“But above all inspire them to be good, Marinette, that is your purpose,” he said now. She bit back a tired sigh.
He came to a stop and told her to wait in front of the two large wooden doors.
Inspiration. That’s all she was. A symbol of hope, of perfection. It’s been years since she was allowed to just be human.
The doors open and she plastered on her perfected fake smile. She walked in and curtsied to the Royal family of Gotham.
She stared at the floor for a few seconds and kept her head bowed as she gathered herself. Marinette swallowed her tears as she looked up at them.
Since she was also basically Royalty she was allowed to make eye contact after properly greeting.
She looked at them. King Bruce of Gotham sat in the middle. On his left was the empty chair of his wife, Queen Selina. On his right sat his eldest son, Prince Richard Gray. Next to Richard sat the empty chair of Lord Timothy of Drake, he and the Queen were in Gotham, they’d gone back earlier than the rest due to undisclosed circumstances. Next to Timothy’s chair, sat his betrothed, Lady Stephanie of Brown. Next to Queen Selina's open chair sat Prince Jason Todd. And next to Jason sat Princess Cassandra. Finally next to her sat Prince Damian.
While the others didn’t make eye contact, he caught he gaze immediately and she felt her breath catch in her throat.
She could all but see the Destruction radiating off of him. He was a true holder of the Black Cat. The chaos and destruction in him screamed out to her.
But she just barely registered those facts.
Because unlike his family, who had blue eyes...
His were green.
Another eerily similar but completely different green gaze flitted through her mind-
She pulled her eyes away. If she looked any longer she’d remember more. And if she remembered any more she wasn’t sure she’d make it out the door.
She registered Fu speaking and introducing her, he was explaining things, stating the basics of their case.
The Order wanted an alliance with their kingdom, and by extension, the League of Justice.
She zoned out and focused on her breathing. She pushed against the memories of a certain Black Cat. She pushed all thoughts of him away but the more she pushed the more they assaulted her.
Blonde hair and the brightest smile she’d seen in years. Green eyes that shone like grass in a meadow. Her heart clenched.
It was the lack of destruction in him that lead to his death.
But here was a man, their age, with chaos and destruction to spare.
It wasn’t fair, a part of her whispered desperately.
She swallowed the tears and took a few deep breaths. Marinette refocused her attention on the conversation.
They’d stay at their summer castle with the family and depending on negotiations, return with them to Gotham to finalize their alliance in any way King Bruce saw fit.
She felt a few gazes on her as Fu spoke and the King replied. The guards, and some of the brothers and sisters on their thrones. But she didn’t dare look and take the risk of being caught in Prince Damian’s gaze. She knew she wouldn’t be able to stop the memories and the tears a second time.
They were probably curious about her black gown, it indicated that she was in mourning and that always got people curious. She was pretty young after all.
But she and- the two of them had been betrothed for three years when the Destruction stole him from her.
She only had a few days left before her mourning period was officially over.
Marinette, stop it!
She took a deep breath, now was not the time for this.
She came to just in time to notice King Bruce turn his gaze to her, “Well it was an honor to meet you, Grand Guardian. I look forward to discussing the specifics of our alliance. Sir Pennyworth will show you to the rooms you’ll be staying in,” he gestured to an older man who stepped forward and offered her his arm.
She thanked the King and took the man's arm, noticing some of his children’s surprise.
She let Sir Pennyworth escort her to her new chambers.
“I think you will come to quite like it here, Your Majesty,” he said to her, when they were out of earshot, “I can imagine that it is quite lonely up on that pedestal of yours,”
She was so surprised at his blunt disregard for etiquette that it took her a moment to register what he said.
Then she recognized the traces of Duusu's miraculous on him. Ah, an old holder. The kwami of emotion always did leave quite a mark on her holders.
After a few more seconds she realized that she didn’t mind his casualty. She didn’t mind that he had pushed her title aside and treated her... like she was normal.
“You have no idea,” she replied so softly that she didn’t think he heard her, until he squeezed her hand.
They came to a stop in front of the room she realized must be hers, he opened the door and let go of her arm, “If you ever need anything just ask for Alfred, Your Majesty,”
She smiled at him, “Please call me Marinette,”
He smiled back and Marinette had a feeling that he was going to be right about her enjoying her time there.

Rhonda Fleming (born Marilyn Louis; August 10, 1923 – October 14, 2020) was an American film and television actress and singer. She acted in more than 40 films, mostly in the 1940s and 1950s, and became renowned as one of the most glamorous actresses of her day, nicknamed the "Queen of Technicolor" because she photographed so well in that medium.
Fleming was born Marilyn Louis in Hollywood, California, to Harold Cheverton Louis, an insurance salesman, and Effie Graham, a stage actress who had appeared opposite Al Jolson in the musical Dancing Around at New York's Winter Garden Theatre from 1914 to 1915. Fleming's maternal grandfather was John C. Graham, an actor, theater owner, and newspaper editor in Utah.
She began working as a film actress while attending Beverly Hills High School, from which she graduated in 1941. She was discovered by the well-known Hollywood agent Henry Willson, who changed her name to "Rhonda Fleming".
"It's so weird", Fleming said later. "He stopped me crossing the street. It kinda scared me a little bit -- I was only 16 or 17. He signed me to a seven-year contract without a screen test. It was a Cinderella story, but those could happen in those days."
Fleming's agent Willson went to work for David O. Selznick, who put her under contract.[5][6] She had bit parts in In Old Oklahoma (1943), Since You Went Away (1944) for Selznick, and in When Strangers Marry (1944).
She received her first substantial role in the thriller, Spellbound (1945), produced by Selznick and directed by Alfred Hitchcock. "Hitch told me I was going to play a nymphomaniac", Fleming said later. "I remember rushing home to look it up in the dictionary and being quite shocked." The film was a success and Selznick gave her another good role in the thriller The Spiral Staircase (1946), directed by Robert Siodmak.
Selznick lent her out to appear in supporting parts in the Randolph Scott Western Abilene Town (1946) at United Artists and the film noir classic Out of the Past (1947) with Robert Mitchum and Kirk Douglas, at RKO, where she played a harried secretary.
Fleming's first leading role came in Adventure Island (1947), a low-budget action film made for Pine-Thomas Productions at Paramount Pictures in the two-color Cinecolor process and co-starring fellow Selznick contractee Rory Calhoun.
Fleming then auditioned for the female lead in a Bing Crosby film, a part Deanna Durbin turned down at Paramount in A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949), a musical loosely based on the story by Mark Twain. Fleming exhibited her singing ability, dueting with Crosby on "Once and For Always" and soloing with "When Is Sometime". They recorded the songs for a three-disc, 78-rpm Decca album, conducted by Victor Young, who wrote the film's orchestral score. Her vocal coach in Hollywood, Harriet Lee, praised her "lovely voice", saying, "she could be a musical comedy queen". The movie was Fleming's first Technicolor film. Her fair complexion and flaming red hair photographed exceptionally well and she was nicknamed the "Queen of Technicolor", a moniker not worth much to her as she would have preferred to be known for her acting. Actress Maureen O'Hara expressed a similar sentiment when the same nickname was given to her around this time.
She then played another leading role opposite a comedian, in this case Bob Hope, in the The Great Lover (1949). It was a big hit and Fleming was established. "After that, I wasn't fortunate enough to get good directors", said Fleming. "I made the mistake of doing lesser films for good money. I was hot – they all wanted me – but I didn't have the guidance or background to judge for myself."
In February 1949, Selznick sold his contract players to Warner Bros, but he kept Fleming.
In 1950 she portrayed John Payne's love interest in The Eagle and the Hawk, a Western.
Fleming was lent to RKO to play a femme fatale opposite Dick Powell in Cry Danger (1951), a film noir. Back at Paramount, she played the title role in a Western with Glenn Ford, The Redhead and the Cowboy (1951).
In 1950, she ended her association with Selznick after eight years, though her contract with him had another five years to run.
Fleming signed a three-picture deal with Paramount. Pine-Thomas used her as Ronald Reagan's leading lady in a Western, The Last Outpost (1951), John Payne's leading lady in the adventure film Crosswinds (1951), and with Reagan again in Hong Kong (1951).
She sang on NBC's Colgate Comedy Hour during the same live telecast that featured Errol Flynn, on September 30, 1951, from the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood.
Fleming was top-billed for Sam Katzman's The Golden Hawk (1952) with Sterling Hayden, then was reunited with Reagan for Tropic Zone (1953) at Pine-Thomas. In 1953, Fleming portrayed Cleopatra in Katzman's Serpent of the Nile for Columbia. That same year, she filmed a western with Charlton Heston at Paramount, Pony Express (1953), and two films shot in three dimensions (3-D), Inferno with Robert Ryan at Fox, and the musical Those Redheads From Seattle with Gene Barry, for Pine-Thomas. The following year, she starred with Fernando Lamas in Jivaro, her third 3-D release, at Pine-Thomas. She went to Universal for Yankee Pasha (1954) with Jeff Chandler. Fleming also traveled to Italy to play Semiramis in Queen of Babylon (1954).
Fleming was part of a gospel singing quartet with Jane Russell, Connie Haines, and Beryl Davis.
Much of the location work for Fleming's 1955 Western Tennessee's Partner, in which she played Duchess opposite John Payne as Tennessee and Ronald Reagan as Cowpoke, was filmed at the Iverson Movie Ranch in Chatsworth, California, (known as the most heavily filmed outdoor location in the history of film and television). A distinctive monolithic sandstone feature behind which Fleming (as Duchess) hid during an action sequence, later became known as the Rhonda Fleming Rock. The rock is part of a section of the former movie ranch known as "Garden of the Gods", which has been preserved as public parkland.
Fleming was reunited with Payne and fellow redhead Arlene Dahl in a noir at RKO, Slightly Scarlet (1956). She did other thrillers that year; The Killer Is Loose (1956) with Joseph Cotten and Fritz Lang's While the City Sleeps (1956), co-starring Dana Andrews, at RKO. Fleming was top billed in an adventure movie for Warwick Films, Odongo (1956).
Fleming had the female lead in John Sturges's Gunfight at the O.K. Corral (1957) co-starring Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas, a big hit. She supported Donald O'Connor in The Buster Keaton Story (1957) and Stewart Granger in Gun Glory (1957) at MGM.
In May 1957, Fleming launched a nightclub act at the Tropicana in Las Vegas. It was a tremendous success. "I just wanted to know if I could get out on that stage – if I could do it. And I did! ... My heart was to do more stage work, but I had a son, so I really couldn't, but that was in my heart."
Fleming was Guy Madison's co star in Bullwhip (1958) for Allied Artists, and supported Jean Simmons in Home Before Dark (1958), which she later called her favorite role ("It was a marvellous stretch", she said).
Fleming was reunited with Bob Hope in Alias Jesse James (1959) and did an episode of Wagon Train.
She was in the Irwin Allen/Joseph M. Newman production of The Big Circus (1959), co-starring Victor Mature and Vincent Price. This was made for Allied Artists, whom Fleming later sued for unpaid profits.
Fleming travelled to Italy again to make The Revolt of the Slaves (1959) and was second billed in The Crowded Sky (1960).
In 1960, she described herself as "semi-retired", having made money in real estate investments. That year she toured her nightclub act in Las Vegas and Palm Springs.
During the 1950s, 1960s, and into the 1970s, Fleming frequently appeared on television with guest-starring roles on The Red Skelton Show, The Best of Broadway, The Investigators, Shower of Stars, The Dick Powell Show, Wagon Train, Burke's Law, The Virginian, McMillan & Wife, Police Woman, Kung Fu, Ellery Queen, and The Love Boat.
In 1958, Fleming again displayed her singing talent when she recorded her only LP, entitled simply Rhonda (reissued in 2008 on CD as Rhonda Fleming Sings Just For You). In this album, which was released by Columbia Records, she blended then-current songs like "Around The World" with standards such as "Love Me or Leave Me" and "I've Got You Under My Skin". Conductor-arranger Frank Comstock provided the musical direction.
On March 4, 1962, Fleming appeared in one of the last segments of ABC's Follow the Sun in a role opposite Gary Lockwood. She played a Marine in the episode, "Marine of the Month".
In December 1962, Fleming was cast as the glamorous Kitty Bolton in the episode, "Loss of Faith", on the syndicated anthology series, Death Valley Days, hosted by Stanley Andrews. In the story line, Kitty pits Joe Phy (Jim Davis) and Peter Gabriel (Don Collier) to run against each other for sheriff of Pima County, Arizona. Violence results from the rivalry.
In the 1960s, Fleming branched out into other businesses and began performing regularly on stage and in Las Vegas.
One of her final film appearances was in a bit-part as Edith von Secondburg in the comedy The Nude Bomb (1980) starring Don Adams. She also appeared in Waiting for the Wind (1990).
Fleming has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2007, a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars was dedicated to her.
Fleming worked for several charities, especially in the field of cancer care, and served on the committees of many related organizations. In 1991, her fifth husband, Ted Mann, and she established the Rhonda Fleming Mann Clinic for Women's Comprehensive Care at the UCLA Medical Center.
In 1964, Fleming spoke at the "Project Prayer" rally attended by 2,500 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The gathering, which was hosted by Anthony Eisley, a star of ABC's Hawaiian Eye series, sought to flood the United States Congress with letters in support of mandatory school prayer, following two decisions in 1962 and 1963 of the United States Supreme Court, which struck down mandatory school prayer as conflicting with the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the United States Constitution.
Joining Fleming and Eisley at the rally were Walter Brennan, Lloyd Nolan, Dale Evans, Pat Boone, and Gloria Swanson. Fleming declared, "Project Prayer is hoping to clarify the First Amendment to the Constitution and reverse this present trend away from God." Eisley and Fleming added that John Wayne, Ronald Reagan, Roy Rogers, Mary Pickford, Jane Russell, Ginger Rogers, and Pat Buttram would also have attended the rally had their schedules not been in conflict.
Fleming married six times:
Thomas Wade Lane, interior decorator, (1940–1942; divorced), one son
Dr. Lewis V. Morrill, Hollywood physician, (July 11, 1952 – 1954; divorced)
Lang Jeffries, actor, (April 3, 1960 – January 11, 1962; divorced)
Hall Bartlett, producer (March 27, 1966 – 1972; divorced)
Ted Mann, producer, (March 11, 1977 – January 15, 2001; his death)
Darol Wayne Carlson (2003 – October 31, 2017; his death)
Through her son Kent Lane (b. 1941), Rhonda also had two granddaughters (Kimberly and Kelly), four great-grandchildren (Wagner, Page, Lane, and Cole), and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a Presbyterian and a Republican who supported Dwight Eisenhower during the 1952 presidential election.
Fleming died on October 14, 2020, in Saint John's Health Center, Santa Monica, California, at the age of 97. She is interred at Hillside Memorial Park in Culver City, California.
