1) Are you named after anyone?

Nope. My mother just picked a name she thought sounded regal and elegant (I've always hated the sound of it, it sounds sharp and then shrill, very unpleasant to my ears.)

2) When was the last time you cried?

It's been off-and-on since my grandmother passed away unexpectedly earlier in February. Little things set me off when I don't expect it.

3) Do you have kids?

Nope. And as of present I don't plan to. I'm quite content to be the weird auntie.

4) What sports do you play/have you played?

Soccer for a brief time as a small child. Do two years of floor hockey in high school count?

5) Do you use sarcasm?

Enough that people have trouble reading me on a regular basis.

6) What is the first thing you notice about people?

Their shoulders. Their hair too, I suppose, but primarily it's the shoulders.

7) What's your eye color?

I have tri-colored central heterochromia! My outer iris is a ring of green, my inner iris is a solid brown, and, though you have to either get close to see it or use the right kind of camera, I have a broken ring of yellow right near my pupils.

8) Scary movies or happy endings?

Why would you pit two bad bitches against each other. They are holding hands, they are kissing. Some of the best horror movies out there manage to have happy endings. It's okay, you can heal, we will help you find what you've been missing.

9) Any talents?

Writing (which is also my best skill, I suppose.)

10) Where were you born?

Far more interesting is when I was born but whatever, I guess. Ohio.

11) What are your hobbies?

I'll list them some other time, but I promise they're not interesting.

5'3". Believe it or not, I'm tall when it comes to my biological family. Compared to my in-laws though, I'm damn short.

Western & Asian World History, Latin, and Creative Writing.

I've wanted to write novels since I was a child, and I suppose that's still technically it.

time to present myself

Hello! I'm Adhara (also called Adha or Hada).

The name comes from Adhara, the second brightest star of the constellation Canis Major.

I'm a november scorpio, my pronouns are she/her, my adjectives are chaotic/dumbass, and my languages are spanish/english.

I love writing with all my heart, even if it kills me sometimes. I've written several short and longer stories, i have a book to edit, and I'm working on a new one (or maybe just having writer's block).

As much as I love writing, I love reading. Classics are my favorite books, but i enjoy almost everything. (Some of my favorites: The adventures of Tom Sawyer, The picture of Dorian Gray, The Hobbit and LOTR, The black corsair and Robin Hood).

In music, my love goes for rock and some pop, depending on my mood. (Maneskin, AC/DC and ABBA are some of my favorites, but also modern pop artists).

Some fandoms i'm in or movies i like: Star Wars, Harry Potter/Marauders, Lord of the rings, How to train your dragon, Pirates of the Caribbean, Chronicles of Narnia.

In other things, I do archery, photography, baking and crocheting. I'm a curious person so I'm always willing to try new things.

I love dogs and animals with all my soul. I'm a proud german shepherd mom.

Nature, sunsets, long walks, daydreaming, sweets and baked goods, old books, looking at the sky, untied shoelaces, smiling without reason, weird things and more daydreaming. That's kind of my vibe.
