Hey I’m not sure if you’re aware of this or you partnered with hot topic but today I saw them selling a Mephistopheles shirt. The same exact design you have on red bubble, I was not able to take a picture of it unfortunately but if I go back I will.

I can tell you which mall it was located in.

oh hey! Okay well I guess this is as good a time as any to announce it, but YES! I do have Welcome to Hell shirts arriving in Hot Topic soon! (I didn't know they were already in stores, but I knew the Mephistopheles shirt was on their website!)

There's going to be three (3) different shirts, for now, including the Mephistopheles one you saw. I did do some HT-exclusive designs, but they were really just interested in revisiting the designs from my Redbubble store. If these shirts do well, there might be an option for me to do more merch with them! We'll see! That said, the designs have been updated from their original Redbubble debut, so the characters are a little more on-model with their current designs, and I re-upped some of the other elements like text as well. Plus, the quality of the print from this shirt company is more robust and the shirts will last a lot longer. Anyway I'll post more about it later, but I'm excited you saw the design in store! Stay tuned and I'll post more about it as they roll out!

Pygmalion would’ve understood you…

Drawing has been hard lately, here are some sketches from last month that Idk if I’ll finish (I was concept drafting a piece based on the Greek myth of Pygmalion and his sculpture, Galatea. He carved his ideal of everything humanly beautiful and perfect out of stone, and fell in love with the inanimate sculpture. He’d shower it in affection with words and touches and gifts, but it was never real. It was just stone, only given significance by Pygmalion’s projections. See what I’m getting at here…) (below is another version, and it’s reference, “Pygmalion and Galatea”, Falconet 1763)
