Hey guess what
More details for the Shadow Twins au
(P5 au where Makoto and Goro, as twins, are Shadow OPS, Niijima siblings raised by NaoRise)
I worked out the thieves! And the palace order!
The first two remain the same. Kamoshida and Madarame happen pretty much as it does originally, but around school there's talk of those "really smart third years" or something
Palace three is where things change. In game, it's Kaneshiro. Here? It's Okumura. He lives! But he mentions seeing the "Black Masks" and feeling threatened, fearing for his life at the time. Anyways this means Haru is the fifth party member instead of Makoto
Futaba's remains the same, but then in place of Okumura, theres a palace for Hifumi's mother. Togo palace! I'm working it out but yeah Hifumi joins after Futaba
This is where things change a lot more. The next palace would be Saw normally, but that's not happening when she's a defense attorney. The investigator here? Zenkichi Hasegawa. He's the one interviewing the Wild Cards the whole time. He's been hunting down the duo responsible for everything, and at one point, he gets a little, less legal with his investigations
He goes after Makoto and Goro. He presses Sae for info, why the went back to Shujin if they've already graduated, isn't the timing funny? You wouldn't want your job put at risk should this come out, right? Naoto goes to "set things straight" with him after, and he lays off. But, the twins are concerned. They don't want their family to suffer or lose their jobs protecting them from something they didn't do
So? They finally contact the thieves. After explaining what they are and that they aren't killing people, they ask for help. They want Hasegawa's heart stolen, and they haven't done one themselves. Changes of heart in mementos? Old news. But Palace stuff? They don't want to mess up. So, they make a deal with the Thieves to get this done in exchange for helping clear their name through Kirijo's network
Then it's Shido and then the YaBoi stuff. But, after that, in the third semester? Instead of the Maruki deal there's another new spot in Mementos. Beneath the Holy Grail. The thieves and Ops enter a train car, go down a tunnel, and at the other end? The levels start going up.
Cause they have to fight Nyx again the seal was broken by Yalbasshole when he swiped Minato and Minako to be his pieces in the game with Igor (Igor's wildcards are Akira and Ren)
So there's that! Akira would be transfem, and Ren would have a slow burn romance with Goro that comes to a head on Christmas, whereas Makoto and Haru move a little faster, getting together in Hawaii.
Also, I've made up my mind. The Shadow Ops as a whole have been raising Koromaru's puppies for a bit, to see if any would have the potential. The two boys of the litter end up assigned to assist with the special task the twins have, so. Yeah they got doggies
Hoshi and Kumo, with their personas Balto and Laika. Helps add to the family environment in the Shirogane house. Hoshi and Kumo don't join them when they search for targets in Mementos, but have helped Makoto and Goro track the movements of the Phantom Thieves, and with general exploration
(it's. Because they can't fit on Johanna too. Only room for Makoto and Goro)
But here's some stuff on Naoto and Rise since I haven't said much on them
Naoto is only a part time Shadow OP. He works as a detective on retainer for the Tokyo police most of the time, but takes private cases, mostly from Kirijo directly, now and then. He sometimes travels for work, and makes sure that if he can't bring his family, that he brings home gifts for them all
This is a trans man Naoto. Cause I'm weak. QueerHet NaoRise my beloved.
Now, Rise has retired as an idol years ago. She's a vocal instructor at a music and dance studio focused on youth, and she uses some of her idol money to help pay for students who need help paying for classes or music gear. She hasn't been involved in persona business since Inaba all those years ago. She was given the offer, but she didn't take it. Using Himiko that much back then really tired her out, made her feel like a zombie sometimes. She'd help in an emergency, but she's done enough in her mind
They were looking to adopt when they got the news of the Niijima's passing. It felt like the universe was giving them a sign, to Rise. Naoto wouldn't use those words, but same feeling. Having a teen and two infants was tough, but for them? Rewarding as fuck. Rise sobbed when one of the twins first babbled a "Mama" in her direction, and cried so hard watching Naoto melt at being called "Papa"
Rise would sing to them to get them to sleep. During storms, the whole family would get under a fort in the living room with cushions and blankets, Rise singing and Naoto humming as they watch their youngest, Makoto, gradually stop shaking, her iron grip on her brother and big sis slackening
So. Yeah. Please let me know if you like this au and if I should keep goinf

This Week’s Horrible-Scopes
It’s time for this week’s Horrible-Scopes! So for those of you that know your Astrological Signs, cool! If not, just pick one, roll a D12, or just make it up as you go along. It really doesn’t matter. Better yet! Check out “Heart of the Game, Fredonia” and see if they can sell you those D12’s with the symbols on them. Tell them “Shujin Tribble” sentcha. And “Hail, Hail, Fredonia!” Home of the Blue Devil!
We’ve crossed over into Pride Month, commemorating the Stonewall Riots and our LGBTQIA+ Siblings In Society. And since the origination point was in Greenwich Village, New York City, we’re giving you your future while teaching you about its past and points of interest.
Aries
Before electric lights became the standard in the 20th Century, gaslights existed in homes and streets all over New York City. One of the last gaslight lamp posts from the 19th Century is on Patchin Place, a small gated community between Greenwich Avenue and Avenue of the Americas in the West Village. The black lamp post remains virtually intact and features a crossbar which was used to prop up a ladder and the lamp post is still in use… but it has been switched over to electricity since the 1920s. So This Week… Before gas lights there were candles. So take a stroll through YouTube and look for the song, “Light One Candle” by Peter, Paul, & Mary. It’s intended as a Hanukah song, but it’s a good inspirational song for all - especially the young.
Taurus
Take a walk down the street in front of 18 West 11th Street and take in the scenery - specifically the unique construction of the building there. Believe it or not it looks the way it does because.. You know, funny story, this! The Weathermen Townhouse at that location kinda… Look, it was March 6, 1970, and the place kind of… Exploded. There were nail bombs in the basement of the building and a bomb accidentally exploded, killed two people… It was a wild time, those early 70’s. So This Week… Dustin Hoffman and his wife were living in the house next door at the time of the explosion. Please do NOT piss him off.
Gemini
Boston has Cheers, and that’s a fake place. Greenwich Village residents have Chumley’s! 86 Bedford Street, where Chumley’s sits, has also been a blacksmithery and a stop on the Underground Railroad before the Civil War. The bar opened in 1922, with guests that included literary greats like F. Scott Fitzgerald, John Steinbeck, E.E. Cummings, and Willa Cather. Sadly they shuttered in 2007 following a wall collapse, but they’re still restoring the space. So This Week… The main ingredient in beer is WATER! DRINK MORE! Maybe more water, maybe more beer. Just drink more of it.
Cancer Moon-Child
In 1929, during Prohibition, there was a luxury hotel called the Brittany Hotel that hosted a speakeasy in the penthouse. Though NYU’s Brittany Hall, as it is now known, has since been renovated, there are still signs of the bygone era in the building like false walls behind empty bookshelves. So This Week… Go on over to Chumley’s with Gemini and wait for them to re-open. It’ll be easier to deal with than the speakeasy bouncer. Plus, really, don’t get the students in trouble for underage drinking. They’re still in Hell Week for finals. They have enough to worry about.
Leo
If you take a trip to Washington Square Park you can visit the Arch there. It feels a lot like the French Arc de Triomphe, but it’s not a copy in any sense. And it isn’t even the first one in Washington Square! It is, however, beautiful to stand next to and just marvel at its beauty. So This Week… You CAN go inside the arch, but please don’t do what artist Marcel Duchampis did and proclaim the arch an independent republic. Unless you can protect the airspace over it, you can’t just create a whole new sovereign country. Your Rubber Band Gatling Guns won’t even work against the local squirrel population.
Virgo
Between Christopher Street and Charles Street there was a prison complex called Newgate Prison; the first prison complex in New York State. Newgate wasn’t its official name, but called that after the prison of the same name in London. To its credit, Newgate was influenced by the ideals of social reformers, who turned it into a house of corrections. So This Week… Just because some have wronged you doesn’t mean they’re irredeemable. It’s possible they can become better people. Let’s also remember that you’re not under any obligation to forgive or forget. Judge who and how you trust carefully.
Libra
For you artsy types, Greenwich Village is also the home of Gertrude Vanderbilt’s Studio. She was a major influence in the Contemporary American Art Movement, and her studio was opened to the public to see in 2016. It’s a 45 minute tour that covers how the art collection started and her role. So This Week… You don’t have to be an artist to have fun with art. Just add a little personal whimsey by getting the “People of Walmart Adult Colouring Book” and a box of 64 crayons.
Scorpio
The Jefferson Market Library was originally built as the Third Judicial District Courthouse, equipped with a market and its own prison, which was originally a coed institution. Historically, the courthouse was used to hear trials concerning women, including in 1909 when members of the Triangle Shirtwaist Company were tried in night court to deter female workers from striking. And you know what? The reasons for that strike were real - seeing as how there was a killer fire about two years later. So This Week… You can fight for what you believe in. Fight for better feelings, less friction, and ironically more peace. With you being happier you can help others to be too.
Sagittarius
The most Narrow House in NYC is in… you guessed it… Greenwich Village! This house, measuring in at only 999 Square Feet, you’ll find it at, and this is a REAL ADDRESS! 75 ½ Bedford Street. The building is a mere 9½ feet-wide and was once the home of writer Edna St. Vincent Millay, also known as Nancy Boyd. –who WAS she?! She only won the 1923 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry for her poem "Ballad of the Harp-Weaver". Just to be clear, that was only the second time the award had been given out, and she was the first woman to win it! So This Week… Don’t judge someone or something by its size, but on its character and accomplishments. Find someone sitting alone in a fast food joint and ask them, “what’s your most proud personal accomplishment?” You might find a fascinating story.
Capricorn
One of the apartment buildings on Greenwich Street has a grassy meadow on its roof! As The New York Times reported in 2006, its owner was inspired by a visit to Elk, Pennsylvania and just wanted a porch. QUOTE… “The porch is basically a glorified bulkhead over a hole punched in the ceiling of the family’s loft to make way for a nautical stairway that rises to a landing with a galley-like kitchenette, with two paned windows and a door that opens to the roof.” So This Week… If you wanted a Hobbit town to live in, just visit New Zealand. Or if funds are tight, move to Elk, P.A.
Aquarius
The townhouse at 14 West 10th Street, nicknamed the “House of Death,” is said to be haunted by 22 ghosts, the most famous of which is Mark Twain, who resided there from 1900-1901. Now we understand that some people grow very attached to placed they’d lived for a while… but considering that he’d spent time in Missouri, New York, Pennsylvania, Washington D.C., Iowa, Ohio, Louisiana, and let’s not forget Canada… Why he’d want to haunt an otherwise nondescript building confounds us. So This Week… Maybe there’s more to these otherwise unimpressive from the outside buildings than we give them credit for. Spend a little more time thinking about the insides of the people around you, but no so much that you wonder what colour their spleen is.
Pisces
This might sound a little like a scene out of “Ghostbusters II”, but this one is real. The Minetta Brook once ran at ground level in Greenwich Village, going through the western section of Washington Square Park out to the Hudson River at what is now Charlton Street. In the name of progress, many creeks, streams and rivers in New York City were buried and now run far below the ground. But open up some of the manholes in Greenwich Village and you’ll see the greenish brook still coursing through. So This Week… Do NOT look into the eyes of Vigo the Carpathian. Do not remember that Sesame Street’s Count von Count grew up in the Carpathian mountains. Do NOT question if Vigo and The Count are related. Do not ask questions you are not ready for the answer to.
And THOSE are your Horrible-Scopes for this week! Remember if you liked what you got, we’re obviously not working hard enough at these. BUT! If you want a better or nastier one for your own sign or someone else’s, all you need to do to bribe me is just Let Me Know - or check out the Ko-Fi page ( https://ko-fi.com/icarusthelunarguard )! These will be posted online at the end of each week via Tumblr, Twitter, Facebook, Discord, and BLUESKY.

BSD!OC! Vincent Marco Allan P2
Despite this, he is quite clever and smart, easily able to inconvenience others with his evil deeds
He called Tarou Edogawa Oni-chan, at first without knowing the meaning, then out of respect, this often gives Tarou an ego boost
He, Kyouba and Tarou ended up best friends /rivals
He likes Carrots and Carrot Cake
Never hurt his students or you'll get the book
Often hides his face behind a book, often being his Notebook
Because of him, people believe that Shujin Academy's library is cursed or haunted
People often disappear within
He is very protective over his students, and so are they of him
The principal knows he's a criminal but when they tried to fire him, the students rioted
He was the closest with the volleyball team, later getting pushed away by Kamoshida
Back in the Haikyuu Arc, students would threaten others with books
He is often found hiding behind his desk
He used to often hide under Coach Ukai's coat, Ukai later gifted it to him, replacing his red and white one with a red and yellow one
He loves watching Shujin's Volleyball matches, however that was ruined by Kamoshida's treatment years later
If a student is feeling down, then they'll find their favorite book on their desk
But if a student is being bad, they would find their least favorite
This even includes textbooks
He gives his favorite students one of his own, written by Kyouba or Louisa, so they can escape reality sometimes
He sometimes substitutes for History, he used to use his Ability so they could learn interactively
He often threatened Tsukishima with Attack on Titan
Like his son, he is also afraid of heights
He extremely hates Atsushi Hinata because of his best friend's murder
Vincent feeds his Kwami, Mullo, Cheese Cake
He adopted a 2 year old Edgar when he was 21
His wife is used to both her husband and son hiding in books all day, easily being the one to coax them out
Despite being ecstatic of his son's friendship with Ranpo Edogawa, he can't bring himself to face Ranpo after what happened to the older Edogawa
At first, Vincent had Ukai told his name was Marco, this resulted in chaos whenever Ukai was trying to find him with the student's shouting back 'POLO!'
Louisa owns a bookstore which Vincent often helps out at, she brought it so Vincent could easily sell his books in Japan
[Continued in P3]
(Haikyuu!!)

Hey mun, what is Sylvia's reaction to kamoshida's confession tho...
Tumblr media
Sylvia wasn't there for the actual confession. She arrived in Japan around the time Madarame was getting popular, because that was around the same time her school year in America had just ended, if maybe a week before. She had been signed on to the school long before Kamoshida's scandal staining the name of Shujin Academy, but since her family had already invested so much money into it, they couldn't exactly take anything back now. She was in too deep and already enrolled in the school.
There was a sigh of relief that Sylvia wouldn't have to deal with at least one perverted teacher, but there also was the sudden realization that this school could, in fact, prove dangerous. However, Sylvia was the one who insisted on still going, because she didn't want her father's hard-earned money to go to waste just because of some silly drama. In reality, parting was anxious for her and the family, and even besides their separation anxiety, this is part of the reason why Sylvia is being asked to call her parents weekly on Sundays at a certain time (sometimes even more than just once a week, though).
Of course, Sylvia is hyperempathetic. After she heard about the scandal with Kamoshida, including some of the comments other students made in the news, she began to wonder what she would've done in that situation, and her anxiety started creeping up and up. This is also why she's so wary of perverts while she's in Japan-- though she's never dealt with such people at home, Tokyo is a completely different story. All she can do now is hope her status as a "prodigious foreign exchange student" will grant her at least some protection at school, since she knows Japanese so well. (Of course, the language barrier is still rather vast in the beginning, and she always keeps her phone's translation app on.)

Persona 5: Another Story - Character Bio Ideas (The Phantom Thieves)
So since that I have created this AU blog, I have decided to finally begin on doing the bio ideas on the characters in the AU itself, this will be focusing on The Phantom Thieves first and then will be going to the other characters afterwards, like the Social Link characters (no I will not be using the Confidant name for the AU) and of course the Rotten Adults themselves!
And with Futaba as the main lead in the AU itself, why not have all the other characters swapped as well. It’s basically the same characters that you all know and love from the main game, but with major differences of course.
Sorry that it’s a long read because this took me days to get it done lmao, but I hope you all like it.
-Futaba Sakura (Codename: Batter) Same as her counterpart from the games, but with a twist of course, Futaba is a geeky gamer and a professional hacker that specializes in everything that a leader can do, she’s outgoing and very easy to like her, she (along with Ann) has discovered about the whole metaverse thing and has awakened to her Persona, Eclipse!
Her main weapon of choice is both a Baseball Bat and a Bazooka.
Futaba's design for the AU has already been made, so it can be found on both here and also here, but not her Phanton Thief attire just yet for the AU.
-Ann Takamaki (Codename: Painter) A punk rock artist that is also a delinquent and is also a childhood friend to Futaba, there were rumors going around about her beating up against other girls, which were all fabricated and were being passed around the shitty adults because in reality, she is just a girl that wants to protect her friends, and she is also invested on both art and even fashion!
Ann is awoken to her Persona, Demetri and her main weapons are both a bat with nails and an AK47.
-Morgana (Codename: Mona) A strange human kid that somehow ended up in Miyoshi’s palace and locked behind bars after investigating the whole palace, but after being helped from both Futaba and Ann, he would eventually help them back with a deal he provided to them with special needs, he also lives in Futaba’s room (much like Teddie was from Persona 4) and also can use his special magic backpack he carries around to summon his sports car whenever everyone needs a ride!
Morgana’s Persona name is Syndicate and his main weapons are both a Frying Pan and a Tommy Gun.
Fun Fact: The idea on Morgana's human design is heavily inspired by the many different fanart depicting him as a human kid instead of the canon Human design that was seen in Royal.
-Ryuji Sakamoto (Codename: Athlete) A first year in Shujin Academy and is part of the track team, he has been looking out for his childhood friend, Takeishi since they were kids but after what happened since the incident with Takeishi, he has decided to join The Phantom Thieves to help reform society itself!
Ryuji has awoken to his Persona, Cheerleader and his main weapons are both a Luck Ball & Chain and a Crossbow.
-Sumire Yoshizawa (Codename: Coach) Both a second year student and a sports coach at Shujin Academy that helps out the students for some sporting activities in the gym, Sumire really has been interested on the Phantom Thieves ever since they were being talked about in school, but the reason for that is because she has requested them through the Phan-site all because of her father is forcing her on getting into fashion instead of sports.
Sumire has awoken to her Persona, Team Player, and her main weapons are both a Dual Wielding Hockey Stick and a Grenade Launcher.
-Goro Akechi (Codename: Mysterious) A third year in Shujin Academy and also the prince detective, he has been cousins with Futaba since his mom and Futaba’s mom are in good relations with each other due to them being researchers since they were college students, Akechi was quite suspicious on The Phantom Thieves since they were being spread and talked around in the school, but soon after finding about his cousin as the leader of the phantom thieves, he has decided to join them.
Akechi’s Persona name is Questioner and his main weapons are both a Battle Axe and his Pistol Gun.
-Ren Amamiya (Codename: Ranger) Much like what Futaba is in the main game, Ren is siblings to Futaba Sakura and is also a shut in due to an event that has happened for him where the place he use to go to was burned to the ground due to a fire that has unexpectedly happened with the people he has knew died and the rotten adults blamed it on him that cause that fire, now after Futaba successfully changed his heart, Ren has decided to fully stand up for himself against the people he was blamed for.
Ren's Persona name is Prediction, a navigation Persona that can see anything like the weaknesses of the shadows or even know where everyone is going in the Palaces and Mementos.
Just like Futaba, Ren also has his AU design made right here, but no Phantom Thief attire made for the AU.
-Yusuke Kitagawa (Codename: Aether) A student in Shujin Academy that is interested on playing music with any musical instrument he can use, Yusuke has been practicing and playing music ever since he was a kid when he was in music school, he always just gushes about music and just loves to also write original compositions too and wants to share it with the world.
Yusuke’s Persona name is Sebastian, with his weapons being a Musical Hammer and a Sniper Rifle
-Makoto Niijima (Codename: Swansong/Dark Heart)
Look I know that in the AU itself for Makoto being the swapped version of Akechi, but I just wanted to add her in here! The student council president at Shujin Academy, ever since she was introduced to the school itself, Futaba and everyone were quite suspicious about Makoto is because of her being the sister to Sae Niijima (and Sae is a secretary that really wants to rule all over Japan, similarity to Shido from the main game), but Makoto is wanting to join forces on The Phantom Thieves for creating a plan on invading Maruki’s Palace, if they couldn’t do as on what they were told, she would send the evidence to The Police to get them arrested.
At the beginning of Maruki’s Palace, Makoto’s “Persona” is named Defence with her main weapon of choice being the Katana and the Gatling Gun, but however, during in Sae’s Palace, Makoto would be revealed to be the true mastermind behind the whole Mental Shutdown, with her true Persona being named Judgment and her actual weapons are a Chainsaw and a Submachine Gun
-Haru Okumura (Codename: Atomic) A second year in Shujin Academy and is also a martial artist at a karate class she goes to every Sunday, she may look like a sweet girl from the outside, but in the inside however she has that energy on wanting to go chaotic neutral onto anybody she sees that is bad, but yeah… never mess with her ever and even her forehead.
Her Persona is named Sensei, with her main weapons being her Karate Moves and the Double Barrel Shotgun.
If you have made it this far at the end, you're an absolute champ!

Peace of Mind
Whumptober Day 3 Prompt: “Who did this to you?”
Summary: Shiho decides to find out what Ann is keeping from her.
Wordcount: 1330
TW: Mentions of Kamoshida, mentions of abuse, nothing explicit.
AO3
~
Ann, bless her heart, is a terrible liar.
She passes of cuts and bruises as “work out trainging” or clumsiness, but Shiho isn’t stupid. She knows Ann is lying to her and that hurts. Wasn’t keeping secrets from each other what caused all the trouble with Kamoshida?
The voice of Shiho’s therapist reminds her that Kamoshida is responsible for all that trouble with Kamoshida, but even if that’s true, that thought doesn’t help. Her therapist says it will, eventually, but eventually isn’t good enough because Ann’s being hurt now.
They go for a walk and Ann can barely keep up because she’s so sore. Shiho slows down to keep pace, and asks, gently, if everything’s alright.
Everything’s great!” Ann says, cheery as always, and something in Shiho’s heart twists because Ann means it. She’s lying when she says she got knocked over at a photo shoot or that she cut herself cooking, but she’s telling the truth when she says things are fine.
Ann’s getting hurt and she thinks it’s fine.
Shiho wants to be sick.
Her parents are touchy about her going anywhere near Shujin, so the school is a no go. Instead, she hangs around Shibuya keeping an eye out for familiar faces before she finally spots Ryuji. She weaves through the crowd, trying to catch up with him and breathes a sigh of relief when he finally stops near the accessway.
Shiho finally manages to catch up with him when the world rips itself apart.
The people disappear and Shiho stops cold. The sky is red suddenly, and the air feels wrong. On the bright side, Shiho now has a clearer view of Ryuji. Ryuji who is... wearing a strange costume? And also with a bunch of other strange looking people. There’s someone with a mop of black fluffy hair… Kurusu? And then there’s one in a catsuit with twintails and.
Oh.
Ooooooooooooh.
Ann is a Phantom Thief. They’re all Phantom Thieves. Shiho kind of hates how much sense it makes. Because of course Ann would fight Kamoshida for her. And given that they have weapons, it probably involves fighting somehow?
Well, that answers some of Shiho’s questions. It raises many many more but at least she now understands why Ann was lying. She isn’t sure it’s safe though and Shiho… really wants Ann to be safe. So, while Ann and the others are busy discussing something, Shiho slips behind a post so they can’t see her. She’s not going to stay long, she just wants to get a sense of how much danger Ann is in for herself, since Ann is clearly willing to downplay things for Shiho’s sake.
And what do you intend to do if she is in grave danger? You think you’ll be able to stop her?
Shiho’s nails bite into her palms. She… she doesn’t want to be kept in the dark at least. Even if she can’t stop Ann, she wants to know. The Phantom Thieves start down the stairs and Shiho follows closely, trying to match their pace, but that doesn’t last long.
The tunnels don’t have nearly as much space to hide, so Shiho has to stay behind a bit further so she can hide behind corners and hidden areas. Still, she manages to keep up.
Or she thinks she does, but she ends up in an open area and they’ve all disappeared.
“Are you serious?” Shiho moans. Gah, this is probably why they’re called “Phantom” Thieves. Her best bet at this point is probably to turn back the way she came when there’s movement out of the corner of her eye.
Shiho brandishes the baseball bat she brought (what you thought she would go to investigate her best friend's mysterious injuries and not show up ready for a fight?)
“Whos there!”
“I think I could ask you that first.” One of the Phantom Thieves slips out of the shadows -- one of the ones Shiho doesn’t recognize, a tall guy wearing blue. “You’ve been following us since the station. Who are you?”
“I’m-“
“Shiho?!” Both of them turn to see Ann leave her hiding spot. Shiho has a good look at Ann’s outfit which is uh… very reminiscent of the types of outfits supervillains on shows Shiho really enjoyed watching used to wear. Shiho’s thankful for the red lighting of wherever they are because that’s probably hiding her blushing.
Probably.
Hopefully.
“What are you doing here?” Ann asks.
“Uh… making sure you’re alright?” Shiho says, fumbling with her bat. “I mean you were clearly lying about the bruises and the injuries so I just wanted to know.”
The rest of them have caught up now and Ryuji looks at Shiho’s bat. “Wait, were you planning to investigate Ann’s injuries and just… start swingin’ if you found out who caused them?”
“Yes.”
“Hell yeah!” Ryuji puts his hand up and Shiho returns his high five.
“Let’s not encourage people rushing into danger unprepared,” a thief who kind of looks like -- oh what was her name? Niijima! That’s right, -- the student council president says.
“Isn’t that literally what you did three days ago?” Kurusu replies.
The thief-who-is-probably-Niijima’s face goes red under her mask. “Well yes, and I think we can all agree that was a bad decision.”
“We can catch up later,” the tiny... cat thief thing? (Wait -- no. He’s a literal Cat Burglar!) who Shiho completely missed says. “Hanging around too long in one spot is dangerous, especially with someone who can’t fight.”
“I’m not helpless.” Shiho says. She wants to sound tough, but it sounds like she’s pouting, even to her.
“Mona didn’t mean it that way,” Ann says, placing an arm on Shiho’s shoulder. “Let’s just go.”
That should be the end of it. They pile into the cat burglar (Mona’s)? My Neighbor Totoro-inspired bus form, and they leave Shiho at the entrance and Shiho continues worrying over Ann, even though she knows what’s going on now.
Ah, but how often are things that simple?
They’re almost at the exit when some huge hulking mass barrels into the side of the bus, and suddenly the group is surrounded by strange looking monsters. Ann and Ryuji waste no time putting Shiho between the two of them. Niijima is doing something to help the unconscious Mona. One of the monsters sends out a blast that chills Shiho to the bone. The tall one whose name Shiho hasn’t learned looks takes it the best of them, standing tall and immediately going in to counter attack.
Ann and Kurusu take it the worst, in taking sharp breaths and shivering due to the cold. Shiho rushes to Ann’s side, taking off her jacket and putting it over Ann.
As if that will help.
Ryuji’s looking at Kurusu, incredibly concerned, but throws a look back at Shiho. He’s tense. Shiho’s heart gets caught in her throat. He doesn’t want to leave her. He wants to protect her.
Because she’s always getting protected, isn’t she?
Hmm it seems as though you can’t do anything.
The words are true, and they are devastating. But still, Shiho grits her teeth and stands up. “No. I can do something. There has to be something.”
Suddenly, pain rips through her skull. She doesn’t flinch though, because even if it’s excruciating, well. She’s felt worse.
Very good. If it seems like there are no paths before you, ‘tis best to cut your own, isn’t it? If we’re in agreement, shall we forge our contract?
Shiho’s hands find her face, and after digging her nails beneath the hunk of metal in front of her eyes, it’s easy to rip it off.
“Isabel! I need you!”
A burst of energy shakes the very foundations of the tunnel they’re in. There’s a large disk in Shiho’s hand, a gem that shines a brilliant blue even amidst the red light of the tunnel placed in the center. She doesn’t really understand what just happened, and she doesn’t care.
Shiho Suzui is going to fight.

I've been wondering something for a while and I'd like to hear your opinion: How do you think Maruki would handle bullies at Shujin? Because I could think of four possible scenarios and I can't decide which is most likely. 1 - He helps the bullying victim regain their confidence, 2 - he informs a member of staff so they can deal with the bully, 3 - He lectures the bully on their actions, or 4 - all of the above
Hmm, I feel like it depends on the gravity of the situation.
If he doesn’t know the full extent of the problem, like if he only overheard students playing around and isn’t sure if it’s just friendly teasing or bullying, he’d casually ask the victim if they’re okay and observe their and the other students’ reactions to gather information to decide if it’s something he should be concerned about. If it is, then he’d step in to give the victim encouragement and invite them to head to the nurse’s office for a counseling session so they can discuss the situation in more detail. The worse the bullying is, the more insistent he’ll be. He might even try to talk to the student outside of school if the situation calls for it.
Informing a member of staff is something he would consider doing, but we all know Shujin’s staff isn’t exactly the most reliable, and Maruki is the kind of guy who likes to take care of everything by himself, so, unless he’s so busy with other students’ problems that he can’t handle one more, I think he’d try to do everything in his hands to deescalate the issue before getting anyone else involved. On one hand, that saves the students involved the unwanted attention they’d get if the word were to spread, and, on the other hand, it prevents the other students and teachers from getting worried about the issue and/or stepping in and making the situation worse involuntarily or not.
But, of course, if he wants the bully to face proper consequences for their actions, he’d have to inform the staff at some point. Still, I feel like he’d only do it if he knew for sure that the bully would face consequences that he deems proportional to their actions. After all, Maruki trusts the inherent goodness of people, which is why he wanted to remove crime by helping criminals, and he has compassion for teenagers, so he wouldn’t want the bully to get a punishment too harsh that might only make things worse.
In any case, he’d definitely try to work with the bully to stop the problem from its roots. He’d ask them to go get counseling, acting more serious than with the victim (also depending on how reprehensible the bully’s actions were), so they can discuss the bully’s behavior and its repercussions. So yeah, he’d condemn the bully’s actions and try to protect the victim, but he’d still give the bully a second chance because they’re just a teenager and can improve and because he wants to remove the problem from its roots.
In short, all of the above, but mostly 1 and 3. He might actualize the victim and/or the bully if he sees an opportunity to do so, though
That’s how I imagine it, anyway :)

two snippets from an early draft of “when the Cat Dragged in the Trickster” that had more buildup covering the school year and the repeat requests for Ren to be given a change of heart...because I’m deleting old docs to clean up but I still like them.
The first time they checked the MetaNav because Amamiya had been requested on the Phansite, Morgana crowed at the negative result. "See! He doesn't have a distorted desire! If he was wicked before, he has clearly reformed."
The second time they checked the MetaNav because Amamiya had been requested, Morgana rolled his eyes before explaining to a mildly curious Yusuke that people were only scared of Amamiya because of his dubious past and that they weren't paying enough attention to his current impeccable conduct. Ryuji then filled Yusuke in on what said dubious past was. Ann informed everyone the result was still negative. No distortion.
The third time Amamiya got requested, Ryuji shook his head when Makoto started to bring out her phone. "He ain't gonna be on there," he told her.
"You're certain?" the student council president asked. "With a record like his..."
"He's been on the site before, I believe," Haru said. "Was he already given a change of heart?"
Ann sighed in aggravation. "No, but we've checked both times Mishima's forwarded the requests before, and he hasn't shown up then either. I mean, yeah, you'd think if he assaulted someone out of the blue, he must be distorted, but he got arrested and put on probation for it. That'd be enough to make most people reflect on themselves, right?"
Haru nodded, accepting the logic, but Makoto still said aloud, "Amamiya Ren."
"Candidate not found."
Morgana huffed. "See?" He jumped up on the accessway's railing. "Lady Ann, I say we tell Mishima to not accept these requests anymore. They clearly have no basis."
Ann frowned, thinking. It'd be a little hard when they were still trying to keep some plausible deniability with Mishima, but she could probably...drop a heavy hint. "Okay--"
"Wait," Makoto said. "You only think it lacks basis because of the app. We don't know where it's from or how it was made, so how can we trust it to be accurate?"
"Do you think the accusation has merit, then? That he threatened the writer?" Yusuke asked. Morgana gave a loud, exasperated sigh.
"I...don't know," Makoto said slowly. "Honestly, I'd prefer if Ann's explanation was right. If Amamiya's reformed, it would mean the justice system at least works sometimes. It's just...what if these are serious? Haru made multiple requests, and you still nearly missed them before I brought them to your attention."
"By blackmailing us," Ryuji muttered.
Makoto's cheeks colored. Haru squeezing her hand as gentle reassurance didn't help. "...That's besides the point. I just want to make sure no other victims slip through the cracks either."
Ryuji and Ann exchanged looks. Ryuji shoved his hands in his back pockets and leaned against the railing. "Honestly, I kind of wonder if I'd be on the Phansite if it'd gone up before Kamoshida went down," he said. "People mostly just leave me alone now, but last year there was talk about how I was gonna haul off and hit the next person who looked at me funny. Shit made me want to quit school for a while."
"You called Amamiya-san 'the guy who stabs people'," Morgana reminded him.
"Well, that's how I knew him! And I wasn't spreadin' anything--Ann had already heard about him, and who were you gonna tell?" Ryuji shot back before a gesture from Makoto reminded him to lower his voice. "Look, I know the guy's done something bad once before, and from what I've seen of him, he's a little weird. Like, I can't get a read on him at all. But none of that means he should be harassed. I guess...we should check to be sure nothing's going on...but can we do it without bothering the guy?"
"I think...both Mako-chan and Ryuji-kun have a point," Haru said slowly. Since we don't know much about the MetaNav, we can't know for sure if it's always working correctly, can we? So I think we should do some questioning ourselves to make sure Amamiya isn't involved in anything suspicious. But we must be discreet, and if we find nothing, we ask the administrator to not accept any more requests about him. I wouldn't want us to be used as a tool for harassment. People deserve second chances."
"That seems reasonable," Yusuke said. "I agree with the proposed action." Makoto nodded, and Ryuji shrugged. Ann hesitated for a moment, but...if there was a victim...and if there was a chance the MetaNav didn't always work, they needed to know, considering how much they relied on it. She nodded.
Morgana held out for a couple of tense minutes, his tail swishing in agitation behind him, but at last it slowed. "I guess...it'd reflect badly on the name of the Phantom Thieves if we ignored a request that turned out to be legitimate... very well, then. We investigate, and then we tell Mishima to reject any further requests."
Morgana's phrasing made it obvious he expected Amamiya to be found innocent. Fortunately, he seemed to be right. Morgana tailed Amamiya from a distance. Yusuke kept an eye out for Amamiya when he people watched at the station. The four Shujin students kept an ear out for any current rumors that might have any basis. Ann asked Mishima if he would be able to find more details about Amamiya's record, since the original leak appeared long-deleted and he was good with the internet and searching for information.
Mishima was more than happy to help her find information--he actually pulled up the record itself for her. The details on the trial were sparse, with the victim's identity completely missing from the record. Was that normal...? Ann hoped it was, to protect victims. It seemed the assault conviction was legitimate enough, anyway. Amamiya had pleaded not guilty, but there was an identified witness who had testified that he had attacked the man she'd been with out of the blue. The judge had made a quick ruling--Ann guessed it was a fairly open-and-shut case. The most troubling thing was that the transcript of the proceedings gave no hint into what had provoked Amamiya to assault that man, who seemed to have been a stranger, besides the allegation that he had anger management issues. That lined up with a few of the rumors, but...the rumors were based on his record to begin with. And they were all old--nothing they turned up sounded that different from what they'd heard in April. Yusuke and Morgana had nothing suspicious to report, unless Amamiya holding three part-time jobs, one of which seemed to be where he was living, counted.
It was...weird. No, she guessed it made sense if Amamiya had reformed and was working to control his temper. They ended the investigation. Ann dropped hints to Mishima that the Phantom Thieves weren't after criminals who'd already been punished.
Mishima seemed seriously reluctant to take those hints, considering they got a fourth request for Amamiya while they were waiting for Futaba to wake up. Ann hadn't even finished reading the message before she deleted it in aggravation.
-
The second snippet being a slightly different form of investigating with interesting/concerning results:
Haru and Makoto were in agreement from the beginning, with Yusuke agreeing it seemed reasonable enough soon after. Ann was the first to be won over from skepticism. Then Ryuji. Finally, Morgana's ears drooped. "We really don't know how that thing works," he said with a glance at Ann's phone. "It'd be terrible if we accidentally ignored someone in danger...all right. We investigate, and then we tell Mishima to reject any further requests."
Morgana's phrasing made it obvious he expected Amamiya to be found innocent, and Ann was a little worried what would happen if he was wrong. Still, for now, they had a unanimous vote. They started an investigation.
Makoto tailed Amamiya, with Ryuji at a distance just in case she was confronted. All she learned was that that Amamiya worked at both 777 and a beef bowl shop and seemed to be a decent employee. Yusuke kept an eye out when he people watched at the station and spotted Amamiya a few times, but never saw him do anything or go anywhere unusual, and most of what he had to say about finally seeing the transfer student for himself was "his aesthetic is appallingly drab". He also figured out somehow that Amamiya's glasses were fake, but Ann didn't know what that information had to do with anything, even if Yusuke found it the one interesting thing about Shujin's transfer student.
Morgana also tailed Amamiya, and by 'tailed' he really just strutted up to Amamiya, meowed and acted like a lost cat, and let Amamiya take him home for the night. It was a lazy approach. It was also the most informative, though not in the way Ann had expected.
Amamiya returned Morgana to Ann in the morning. That, she'd expected: either Amamiya would be conscientious and return a cat he'd recognize as hers, or Morgana would eventually slip away and return on his own. What she hadn't expected was that Amamiya looked nervous--really nervous--when he let his schoolbag down on his desk and showed her Morgana, safe inside. Morgana looked upset.
"He...must have gotten out somehow? I found him in Shibuya, after my work shift--"
"He thinks you'll think he stole me," Morgana blurted.
"Okay, okay, come on," Ann said, reaching into the schoolbag to extricate the smallest thief. She was confused. Why on earth would Amamiya think she'd suspect him of kidnapping Morgana? He'd gone up to Amamiya himself--
Well, though...if Ann didn't know that, if Morgana was a normal cat--oh. Yeah, it might be suspicious that Amamiya of all people had 'found' him. Shoot. She immediately looked up at Amamiya and gave him her brightest smile. "I'm glad you found him! I was sooooo worried about this little guy. Thank you."
"'Little guy'?" Morgana muttered, but he clambered into her desk and turned himself about, his blue eyes focusing on Amamiya. "See? It's fine. Calm down."
Obviously, Amamiya couldn't understand Morgana. But he did seem to be relaxing. He smiled back a little at Ann, an awkward thing, and she felt so lost. What had happened to the guy who'd intimidated the entire class just to let a cat sit in a desk?

Could we please get some general relationship headcanons for Futaba and Makoto?
Hello Anon!! I’ve already written some general relationship headcanons for Makoto!! So... I thought I’d add Haru!! Hope that’s okay. I also made these gender neutral. :)
By the way!! I love Futaba!! Best girl. Please request more of her.
- Nexus.
Oracle { Futaba Sakura }
✧ Futaba is very new to relationships so her significant other must be very patient. She turns bright red at the thought of any form of contact but once she tries it, she warms up to the idea. However, she can get overstimulated at times so if she ever makes a move to get away, she is merely calming her own emotions.
✧ Loves to talk about her interests & things she found through hacking. She is incredibly intelligent for her age and jumps from one topic to another, so keeping up can be hard, but she appreciates it when they try to listen.
✧ Sojiro will definitely have a very stern talk with them about how they need to take care of Futaba & if they do not, he will find out. Afterwards, he is stern towards them but not unkind. After all, he wants the best for his daughter as a surrogate father figure.
✧ Would enjoy nights where they stay up until 3am, eat snacks & play video games. Even if they are not particularly good at them, she will simply call them a noob & teach them how to play by holding their hand to guide them to the buttons. If they offered to play a competitive game, she would absolutely destroy them every time but party games would be a blast!!
✧ If they also had any interests that did not require her to go outside, Futaba would enjoy learning from them. She is able to pick the basics of almost everything quite quickly, which makes her feel even closer to them. When she achieves something under their tutelage, a good reward to gift her is a pat on the head.
Noir { Haru Okumura }
✧ Haru is an incredibly soft partner to be around. She is kind & loving, only wanting the best for her significant other. After everything that happened with Sugimura, she is simply relieved to be around something that she genuinely wants to spend time with instead of someone that forced her into a marriage via a contract.
✧ Food is an incredibly important part of the relationship with her, as she grows nutritious vegetables & waters them every day. She would encourage them to come to the rooftop to water the plants if they were a student at Shujin Academy. Whilst planting crops & sowing seeds, Haru can be heard singing to herself, which is incredibly cute!!
✧ If they were a Phantom Thief, Haru would be rather protective of them. She does not know any healing skills save for Amrita Drop, which she would immediately use if they gained a status condition. Knowing full well the power they held within their soul, she would trust them on the front lines but if any Shadows knocked them unconscious, there would be no mercy apart from the sweet release of death.
✧ Not afraid to initiate affection. Haru loves them dearly, so why should she care what anyone thinks of their relationship? All that matters is that both herself & her partner are happy. In particular, she loves to hold their hand when going out together because it reminds her they are always together.

Jassi’s Persona 5 Manga ( Volume 1 ) Reactions!
- Ryuji immediately knows a pedophile when he sees one. He knows right away Kamoshida offering rides to students and spending time with them is creepy and skeezy as fuck.
- I love how he can go right from asking someone what the hell they’re looking at, to asking if they go to his school, to just asking them to walk to said school with him - my boy makes friends so easily if people would give him a chance.
- he does this in the game too but Ryuji telling the protagonist to run when they’re accosted by the knight guys will never not make me cry inside
- Ryuji’s freaking out when he wakes up in the cage and has some banter with a offscreen Morgana - thus a tumultuous relationship is born.
- Kamoshida calls Ryuji a filthy mutt and says he belongs in a cage. 🖕🖕🖕
- Also the manga has a lot of panels of Kamoshida beating up on Ryuji and it...hurts my soul.
- The Protagonist trying to defend Ryuji 😭😭😭
- Ryuji even when being beaten down is still trying tell Joker to run and save himself, have I said how much I love my boy yet.
- Kamoshida actually offers him mercy in this version...if he’ll get down on his knees and beg.
- Naturally and to my not at all surprise but still delight, Ryuji would rather die than bow down to a power hungry abusive pedophile. He doesn’t even care if he dies. 😭
- The manga mentions Kamoshida broke his knee instead of his leg. Not sure if the game also said that - would need to go back and play.
- Ryuji is so grateful to Joker for summoning Arsene and saving him
- Also to my surprise and also heartbreak, he still hobbles around injured for a little while afterward - unlike in the game that seems to brush off his beating from Kamoshida.
- When they get back to shujin he freaks about it being noon and like in the game, is dragged by Kawakami.
- Kawakmi girl, I like you but don’t try to break up this bromance.
- A lot of his subsequent panels can just be summed up as ‘Ryuji yelling at people’
- Also I forgot to put this earlier but he cares about helping the cognitive students so much 😭😭😭 it pains him to leave them
- His experience in the castle also makes him super determined to try and protect fellow abuse victims from Kamoshida. An abuse victim trying to stand up for and protect other victims from their awful abuser, my feels.
- He’s not very good at interrogating the volleyball team and he’s /really/ not good with Mishima lol - like stop yelling at my child please
- I can’t remember the exact chronological order of the game so maybe it just hasn’t happened yet but that scene where Ann and Joker are sitting down together and she starts crying is omitted. Bit of a shame as I really love that scene and feel it added depth to her character and her struggle
- Speaking of Ann, she’s kind of a disappointment in the manga. She’s not really there much - but her protecting Shiho did break me.
- There’s also a random ass scene where Ann is yelling at Ryuji for interrogating Shiho and she tells him to butt out. TLDR, she storms off and Joker is like ‘Um is she upset about something’ and Ryuji’s just like ‘nah she’s fine’ like what??? 🤡🤡🤡
- Shiho 😭😭😭
- Also just in case you needed another reminder Kamoshida sucks, after Shiho tries to kill herself, the first thing this motherfucker thinks is about how much of a struggle this has caused for him. Shiho tried to kill herself and this bitch is seriously still thinking about himself 😑😑😑
- Ryuji tells Kamoshida for probably the hundreth time how much he sucks, as in the game, Kamoshida threatens to expel them, I don’t really feel a need to recap much things that are basically lifted from the game but it’s always nice seeing characters point out how much Kamoshida sucks,
- Ryuji’s Awakening feels really jammed into the end - also his Persona is giving the whole ‘contract’ spiel after he’s already removed the mask and summoned him??
- Also the manga confirming what we probably already knew, nobody believed Ryuji or stuck up for him. 😭😭
- Beating up sexual predators, yay!

Here are more thoughts from the Siblings Au stuff
It's about time I. Talked about the Thieves all meeting up. Most of this au is just happy family times but, they do all get ot be friends
Starting with Haru, Makoto, and Goro, in their first year at Shujin.
Makoto and Goro head in together, both unwilling to admit they're happy to be in the same class, and wind up sitting halfway back, near a rather shy looking student. It takes a week for them to really start talking, but, Haru considers the two friends. Well, one more than the other
There would be a funny ongoing bit that their classmates are convinced Goro and Makoto are twins. Yeah they have different family names but maybe it was a separated at birth thing? There's a mini conspiracy about them
If you've been around my blog for a while you probably can guess where this will end up. Spoiler alert, by the end of their first year, Goro will be third wheeling for study sessions.
Haru falls first, Makoto falls harder. Makoto is over at the Sakura residence more because it's less chaotic, and gradually earns the trust of a very protective younger brother. Akira pulls her aside one night and tells her Haru likes picnics, and tells her what flowers to get. And, he smiles knowingly when his sister comes home from her date smiling all wide, and rambles to him on his bed
Across the city, Makoto climbs up to her top bunk and grins and kicks her legs all full with joy, and her three younger siblings make barfing noises and shout "Gross!" as she calls her big sister to tell her all about it, Sae's wife Tae calling her gay in the background of the call
Then, the friend group expands. Second year for the older three means first year for their siblings. And, a chance encounter with two blonds, one natural, one dyed, which leads to More Gay
Ann and Shiho my beloved I am not budging from that BUT. Akira is hella gay, and now has his own crushes to ramble about when spending time with his big sister Haru. The athletic, kind-hearted, sometimes stupid, Ryuji Sakamoto. And, the angelic, odd, quite autistic Yusuke Kitagawa. It'll take him a year to get Ryuji on board for Operation: Blue Twink Seduction, but they'll get there
And by that time, Futaba is in her first year, and befriends three siblings in her class; Kasumi, Sumire, and Sophia
And. High school happens. Shit happens, but they're there for each other. Is this a cop out to finish this post now? Yes. But y'all are also free to ask about this or suggest shit

Phantom Thieves A/B/O HCs but I take it less and less seriously as I go
Okay! I've decided, just for fun, I'd take a page out of @boku-no-omegaverse's book and make a post assigning dynamics to each of the Phantom Thieves from Persona 5, because why not? (excluding Akiren, bc he's the protag and doesn't have a solid enough character on his own for me to say either way and Morgana bc he's a cat)
Same goes here as with their posts. I'll say which dynamic I see the character as, why I see them as said dynamic, and what other dynamics I could possibly see them as, in order from most to least liked. If a word is crossed out, it means I can't see them as that dynamic at all.
Now, without further ado, let's begin!
Ryuji Sakamoto - Alpha
Beta, Omega
Tumblr media
Boy oh boy, Ryuji just exudes alpha energy to me. He's brash, loud, and bold, but also caring, loyal, and protective of the people he cares about. He also tends to respond to trauma with rage, which is a very alpha trait. He's pretty much the perfect example of a great alpha to me.
Ann Takamaki - Alpha
Beta, Omega
Tumblr media
I don't feel as strongly about alpha Ann as I do about alpha Ryuji, but it's still my personal favorite dynamic for her. She pretty much exhibits the same traits as Ryuji does, though she's not nearly as loud as him, lol.
Yusuke Kitagawa - Beta
Omega, Alpha
Tumblr media
To be honest, I was having a really hard time deciding for Yusuke. I felt pretty much the same about all 3 dynamics for him, and eventually decided to stick him in with the betas. Yusuke tends to be rather calm and somewhat level headed, if a bit eccentric, but is positively explosive when angry. This is usually an alpha trait, but I just have a harder time seeing him as one I guess.
Makoto Niijima - Beta
Alpha, Omega
Tumblr media
Yeah, I know, I know, I'd imagine most people were expecting her to be an alpha, but hear me out. Yes, I do like alpha Makoto, and yes I do think she exhibits quite a few alpha traits, she just feels more like a beta to me. Makoto is Shujin Academy's student council president, and the brains behind the Phantom Thieves. She's rather good at keeping a cool head, and prefers solving problems by talking (i.e., trying to convince Eiko to leave Tsukasa after finding out he's sus rather than just telling her to without a real explanation) rather than violence. (though violence is not off the table if the situation is dire enough) All these things put together sit her firmly in the beta category for me.
Futaba Sakura - Omega
Beta, Alpha
Tumblr media
Okay yeah, I don't really have a long winded explanation here. I just... really like omega Futaba lol. I don't know what it is about her, she just gives me The Vibes, y'know? Also I tend to make my favorite characters omegas, being one myself, and Futaba is certainly a favorite. I can vibe with beta Futaba too, but I just can't see her as an alpha.
Haru Okumura - Omega
Alpha, Beta
Tumblr media
Ok I just think this would be lowkey hilarious, and just adds to Haru's whole "human marshmallow but could also probably kill you" thing. I vibe hard with alpha Haru too, (hence why she's on alphacharacteroftheday) I just think her being an omega adds to the joke and works surprisingly well with her character.
Sumire Yoshizawa - Omega
Beta, Alpha
Tumblr media
I will be the first one to admit that this one is mostly personal bias. Sumi is my favorite P5 character, and like I said earlier, I tend to make my faves omegas. Everything about her just screams omega to me. I took one look at her blushing sprites and went "yup, that's an omega right there." I don't really know how to explain why I think she's an omega, she just... is, I guess.
Goro Akechi - Alpha
Omega, Beta
Tumblr media
I see a lot of omega Goro, and subversion is fun sometimes y'know? I honestly think he works just as well as any dynamic, but alpha Goro just slightly beats omega Goro as my favorite HC for him. It's honestly mostly his completely batshit feral behavior during combat in 3rd semester that pushed him into the alpha category for me lol

@musaeon says   →   how does akira feel about the other thieves? whether it's about them as teammates, friends or whatever!   (   unprompted.   /   always accepting   !   )
Tumblr media
overall,   the phantom thieves are the best friends akira has ever had   —   they’re the first friends he’s had that he knows won’t turn their backs on him the moment something goes wrong.   he’d do anything for them,   and would protect each of them with his life   —   in and out of the metaverse.   he also takes his role as the friend who can cook very seriously,    the thieves are getting fed whether they like it or not.
his individual feelings on each of them is under the cut,   because it got long as hell lmao
ryuji   -   akira’s   !!   best friend   !!!   seriously,   ryuji was a godsend for akira during those first couple months at shujin,   and he continues to be over the course of the year and beyond.   at first,   it was that spark of connection from someone who got it,   from someone who was also a victim of the shujin population’s cruelty.   but their quick bond built on being the school’s    ‘   delinquents   ’    quickly strengthened into something solid,   with ryuji’s brash honesty and optimistic cheer a breath of fresh air and most importantly,   a reminder that he’s not alone.   even if the world burned down around them and everyone else inexplicably left them to their own devices,   akira would have ryuji,   and ryuji would have akira.
morgana   -   akira is so grateful for morgana’s presence.   not only did he save them from bumbling stupidly about with their new powers   (   which,   let’s be real,   would have likely resulted in kamoshida’s death.   ),   but he saves him every day from being alone.   akira hates being alone,   and honestly would have a lot harder of a time taking care of himself if morgana wasn’t there to remind him to go to sleep when he’s tired.   the cat might be haughty and prideful,   but akira loves him for who he is   (   and he also never truly thought he was a human bound to a feline form.   it was a hunch of his,   but he never wanted to say it   ).
ann   -   akira is utterly charmed by ann,   and if asked he’d sheepishly admit that at first it was definitely because she’s pretty.   but now,   it’s her cheer that charms him,   her optimism and her fierceness and her unwillingness to bow in the face of misfortune.   it’s how easily and intensely she loves that akira connects with most about her   —   because he does the same.   plus,   his bonds with her and ryuji are somewhat special,   because they’re the ones who were there in the beginning,   back when they weren’t the phantom thieves yet,   and they were only trying to prevent kamoshida from hurting anybody again.
yusuke   -   yusuke delights akira,   and his interesting worldviews always help akira to see things from a different angle.   he knows it’s involuntary,   but watching yusuke be so unashamedly weird and himself is inspiring to someone like akira,   who has been told all his life to keep his head down and blend in.   he wants to help yusuke nurture the pieces of himself left after madarame,   help him grow in any way he needs or wants to   —   as an artist,   as a person,   whatever.   plus,   if one of the others notices that akira buys food for yusuke more often than the rest of them,   he’s sure they understand.
makoto   -   akira never really felt the same vitriol ryuji and ann did for makoto back before kaneshiro’s palace,   but he certainly wasn’t fond of her at first.   now,   after getting to know and fight alongside her,   he admires her tenacity and her fury,   and he appreciates getting to see that underneath that rage that’s in turn underneath her pleasant honor student self,   there’s a just,   kind person who never quite got to mourn her father’s death properly.   it’s also worth noting that akira is somewhat intimidated by her,   and that that is absolutely something he loves about her.   he...   hopes she doesn’t go through with becoming a cop,   though.
futaba   -   it was only a matter of weeks after they first met for akira to feel a brotherly sort of affection for futaba.   maybe it was the way she clung to him,   or the whole key item concept,   or their shared guardian,   but he truly considers her his little sister and more of his family than his parents have ever been.   there’s something about her that he just clicks with   —   her sharp intellect and mischievous nature,   perhaps.
haru   -   at first,   akira was worried he wouldn’t really know how to interact with haru,   with her being stupid rich and all.   thankfully,   she surprised him in how down-to-earth she is,   and he honestly forgets just how much money she has unless she brings up something that specifically reminds him.   when he heard she wanted to open up her own café,   he was so excited,   because that meant they share a passion and have similar life goals.   while akira doesn’t necessarily want his own café,   he loves leblanc   (   and while he doesn’t plan on it because it’s up to sojiro,   he would be more than willing to take it over someday   )   and found his love for food there.   perhaps,   some time in the future,   haru and akira even develop something of a friendly rivalry over their coffee.
goro   -   while goro isn’t actually a phantom thief,   he was with them enough   (   and twice   !   )   that akira can’t fully sever him from the group in his mind.   and boy,   are his feelings about goro complicated.   how are you supposed to feel about the person with whom you have an intense rivalry with,   the person you have a feeling is   (   and later find out most definitely is   )   a serial murderer,   the person with a hidden loneliness you occasionally get a peek of,   the person who you can’t help but feel,   despite everything,   is a lot like you   ?   akira sometimes feels like he shouldn’t care about goro as much as he does,   like he shouldn’t feel this way,   but he ultimately places no blame on him for anything he did.   it was shido’s doing.   akira can’t handle the concept that it might be the whole truth.   (   and when maruki brought about his ideal reality,   akira is ashamed that his using goro as a bargaining chip nearly worked.   goro didn’t deserve to die,   and he wishes so desperately he could have truly had a second chance.   )
sumire   -   it’s a deep,   sad empathy he feels for sumire.   he wants nothing more than for her to be happy and healthy as herself,   and is more than willing to help her get there.   during that first foray deep into maruki’s palace with akechi,   when he found out she wasn’t truly kasumi,   his heart broke for her.   and he couldn’t help but feel guilty,   because all that time he’d known her he’d only been helping perpetuate the distortion from maruki   (   not that calling her sumire would have done anything thanks to it,   but the feeling remains   ).   it’s a bit of a softer love he has for sumire,   rather than the more assertive love he has for his other friends,   but that doesn’t make it any weaker.
sophia   -   the short time akira had sophia on his phone was really fun,   and not just because he was on a roadtrip with his friends or because he got an excuse to be joker again.   sophia,   in all her innocence,   was a blast to have around.   he loved showing her around the world and talking to her about what it means to have a human heart.   he is so proud of the growth she showed over that summer,   and though he was sad to see her go with ichinose,   he can’t wait until he can talk to her again and see how much she’s grown further.
zenkichi   -   i’ve already talked a bit about akira’s feelings about zenkichi in a different post,   but he is the only thief exempt from much of the very first statement above.   to put it simply,   akira likes him   —   as a person.   having a father figure during the roadtrip was refreshing,   zenkichi was funny and akira admires how much he cares for his daughter.   but he’s a cop,   and akira and the thieves are not friends with the police,   persona or no persona.   should zenkichi ever quit the force,   then akira’s opinion of him will change drastically,   but that clearly hasn’t happened.

In the trickster kawakami au, how are her interactions with the phantom thieves?
hmmm okay so (info under the cut);
kawakami is initially very judgemental of both ryuji and ann, but eventually grows to trust and adore them when she finds out more about their backstories - ann via her explaining everything when they accidentally landed in kamoshida’s palace, and ryuji due to her finding out in kamoshida’s palace when he awakened.
ryuji and ann initially just see her as their teacher, and then they change kamoshida’s heart. she becomes a close ally of the pair, especially at shujin, something that ticks makoto off something fierce. she offers to tutor them both as well!
kawakami falls in love with mona the first time she sees him and immediately begs him to come into the real world -- kawakami has a soft spot for cats, as referenced by how she feeds strays in her spare time. while he has business in the metaverse at the time, he eventually takes her up on the offer, and trying to get him into her apartment is like this;
Tumblr media
yusuke immediately gets off on the wrong foot with the pts by asking ann to model for him, and kawakami immediately gets protective of her student/teammate/friend. however, when she gets alone with yusuke - because she figures that having an authority figure around would make madarame back off - she discovers how badly he’s being treated and offers him access to the metaverse. initially he says no, but its thanks to mona’s help that he changes his tune. yusuke and kawakami have a strange symbiotic deal -- kawakami models for yusuke and makes him food, yusuke makes skill cards in exchange!
due to knowing that kobayakawa is a slimy asshole, kawakami manages to subtly convince makoto to defy his authority, leaving to her seeking out the mafia herself. the phantom thieves find out about the mafia independent of makoto, but makoto still gets kidnapped which freaks kawakami out due to the fact that she basically planted this idea into makoto’s head. makoto is more of a straight up attacker in this universe!
as for futaba, i imagine that kawakami is quite quick to help her get out of her shell following the events of her palace, but tries to take it slow. she doesn’t understand any of what futaba is saying, but tends to listen to her when she’s infodumping about a video game, and keeps her company while in public (claiming that she’s futaba’s aunt :’) ). she also can and will fistfight youji and nearly does
morgana doesn’t leave the group (maybe bc kawakami is playing damage control between the team or maybe bc he and ryuji’s arguments never go that far idk), so instead, makoto remembers one of her classmates is okumura’s daughter and nearly takes a strand of her hair as a dna sample for the palace. kawakami, being like “please god can my team not be a bunch of creeps”, instead just asks okumura if she wants to join them!
haru initially is hesitant, but i imagine that she and kawakami find they have a lot in common, and she warms to her! also, haru has a crush on the delinquent transfer student who kawakami has been tutoring on the side ;)
i think ill get around to akechi and sumire later but atm that’s all the ideas i have for now! thanks again for asking :D
