Belonging to what's not even here - (Unrequited) Fyovan, Prompts: Illness/Injury, Confession

"“Good afternoon,” the man’s soft voice led Ivan’s gaze towards the door, and the previous guest that had briefly interested him, Fyodor Dostoevsky, gracefully walked to the end of Ivan’s bed.

“Afternoon…” he looked at him suspiciously, unsure of what to make of the situation.

“You’ve been cleared to go, sadly most of your things were lost in the fire, but I’ve taken care of everything so you don’t need to worry about any of that, I’ve got a car waiting downstairs but if you are having trouble walking right now I’ll assist you to and from, no need to over exert yourself yet on my behalf,” he smiled sweetly and the lines near the corners of his eyes pulled as he did so, Ivan’s own eyes trailed down to Fyodor’s hands that were resting on the edge of his hospital bed, fingers tapping on the foot board in a relaxed motion. Had he noticed before how torn up they were? Was he not remembering that or was he simply not paying that much attention to him the last time they met.

“What are you talking about?” Ivan questioned.

“Oh, my apologies, I thought you would realize, you’ve got nowhere to go, your workplace and home burned down after all,” his fingers rapped against the foot board again and his face fell, the smile on his lips was still present, but what little warmth Ivan thought he saw in his expression had vanished, or maybe Ivan had imagined it there in the first place.

“I know that, is this you offering to help me?” Ivan prodded further.

Fyodor moved to Ivan’s side and fiddled with his IV pole, a single chirp ringing out before he pressed something to stop what was likely an alarm.

“They should have stopped giving you pain medication like this earlier, you’ll feel a bit more with it in a couple of hours, it’s okay,” Fyodor cooed.

Ivan furrowed his brows and watched as he went to the sink and washed his hands before casually donning gloves from a box on the wall.

“I think it would be best for us to make our way out now actually,” and with that Fyodor ripped the adhesive that covered the crook of his elbow off, pulling Ivan’s IV out as if he had done it a thousand times before, and then replacing it with a gauze and more tape while he held his thumb down on the spot.

“Are you a doctor?” Ivan wrinkled his nose.

“No,”

“...a nurse?” Ivan bit the inside of his cheek and watched him nervously.

“Not at all,”

“What did you mean by most of my things were lost in the fire, they told me the entire staff wing burned down,” Ivan had a handful of questions despite Fyodor appearing uninterested in extrapolating much.

“It did, I’ll answer all of your questions but we do really need to be on our way, can you stand?” Fyodor offered his hand and Ivan took it, something wasn’t right, clearly, and yet he felt compelled to take it."

Nagisa H: You fainted, so I laid down next to you so people would think we were just chilling.

Stupid sketch bc I saw someone mention something about Chū being cute in glasses… had to make the fish dying in the background

R!Odasaku: Technically, you don’t actually need to know how to play the trumpet well for that.

The Guìhuā boys! (This was awhile before I created Pò)

Guìhóng's matches a lot with Lord Hesko's, like having Lady, but with a Redish Orange background instead

Braham has his Green for the background, though he was very hard to make in this one

Lastly, Guìyín get's the White outfit and his White/Silver background, alongside a knife for his sword

Both the real life Osamu Dazai and Fyodor Dostoevsky drew.

Fyodor Dostoevsky was known to sketch in his manuscripts. Osamu Dazai painted with oils and was very interested in fine arts. Fun fact the main character in No Longer Human also wanted to go to art school and become an artist. There's actually a lot of mention of yozo liking making art in no longer human.

So of course i had to draw their twink versions painting together. <3

Atsushi- Forget-Me-Nots

representing love and respect. given to someone as a symbol that you will never forget them and think of them often

Dazai- Poppies

bright red flower symbolizing sleep and death is for sure his favorite

Kunikida- Marigolds

honestly he just likes the colors

Yosano- Spider lilies

spider lilies represent both death and rebirth so obviously when thinking of yosano i think of these

Ranpo- Chrysanthemums

a symbol of happiness and friendship

Kenji- Sunflowers

i mean come on. he definitely grows them back home too

Akutagawa- Lilac

the flower of renewal and confidence!

Chuuya- Lily of the valley

they symbolize love and happiness but are often used in funeral arrangements as a symbol of happiness returning to those who have lost people

Kouyou- Cyclamens

pink/white flowers that symbolize a devoted heart but are also given as parting gifts

Sigma- Tulips

not one i can explain, it just makes sense to me

Nikolai- Strelitzias

strelitzia nicolai, an average looking plant that will flower and grow what is called the "bird of paradise"

Bram- (white cattleya) Orchids

again, it just fits

Poe- Wolfsbane

truly the poison flower. it's pretty but deceiving

Eclipse thought he could interrupt a bowling date, but Aika found a way to bowl anyway... _ I realized I hadn't drawn Aika in her magical girl form yet. I had to fix that because the design is absolutely stellar. 👍👍
