First TV show watched: Literally nothing I’ve been sick ever since New Years I haven’t had the energy to watch anything :(

First book read: Howls Moving Castle! I’m only a few chapters in (again got so fucking sick) but I recently started it and it’s been fun!!! Absolutely in love with the writing style

First fanfic read: I haven’t read any fanfic yet this year I’m such a fake fan of media :( WHEN IM NOT DYING ON GOD I WILL BE ENGAGING WITH SO MUCH STUFF

First Dinner I Ate: Oh girl I do not remember….i think it was some kind of chicken dish but it also might’ve been like. Pizza. I have no clue

First food I ate: BAGEL!!!!!!!!!! Bagel with cream cheese and it was fucking AMAZING I left my friends house so early to get that bagel I love bagels I love bread

some people in this fandom are going to be really disappointed when winds of winter comes out.

you guys. you cannot treat the POV characters as stepping stones for other characters/other POV characters.

the POV characters must have a fitting end according to their character arcs, themes, foreshadowing, etc.

to clarify, the POV characters chapters are about THEM. their storylines are about THEIR journey. you cannot use their hundreds of pages of character development as a brick to build the castle your fav will live in.

this is especially true for the key 5 and for the other younger POV characters. their endings have everything to do with them, they do not revolve around your fav.

us readers out-of-universe reasons for wanting x or y characters deaths does not matter. what actually matters is if you can support your theories with textual evidence from the chapters of the POV character that you want dead.

genuinely what the fuck??? Y’all, idk if this is spoilers or not, I’m just gonna yap bc I have no one to complain abt this with cause they haven’t finished. If you haven’t finished the series, don’t come at me abt spoilers if I accidentally do. FIRST OFF?? Absolutely no fucking mention of Isha besides a scene from act two being replayed?? You’re telling me we got a good four(??) episodes of this absolute baby ily sm, and then you’re just like, “no yeah forget abt it” WHAT??😭 That was literally all I could think abt all fucking week, was whether or not she was dead, and you give me that?? I literally yelled at my tv the entire three episodes, I’m so beyond words (clearly not since I’m writing this) SECOND OFF— we got a poster for Sevika right?? It looked cool as fuck, and so maybe we were all a lil too ambitious to assume we’d get a backstory or brothel scene (we all wanted it let’s be real😼) and then just?? Nothing?? I mean, I’ll admit I liked the ending they gave her, but c’mon man. I need a separate series for her, I’m BEGGING. THIRD?? The fact that they just completely glossed over Maddie being a traitor?? Don’t come at me w “oh I liked her” “she’s a good character” NO! I knew she was bad from the start (it’s cause she’s a ginger😒 KIDDING PLS DONT TAKE THAT SERIOUSLY) FOURTH, I know it was purposeful that they didn’t give Jinx a funeral (actually idk) but I feel kinda robbed that I didn’t see like “forgiveness” between her and Cait (ig we did cause she let her escape jail) but still, I wanted some sort of anything ig. FIFTH, sesbian lex IN THE PRISON CELL is fucking INSANE😭 you’re telling me no one could have possibly walked in on that?? But I will admit it was pretty well done, and it was respectful in a way that it was clear it was out of love and not just like the sexualization of lesbian characters (if that makes sense??) honestly I did love the show and the characters are so beautifully written, and I’m sure I’ll come up with more things to yap about and I’ll post it later (it’s two in the morning my brain isn’t working) but I just need more bc I’m literally gonna have withdrawals (I’m dramatic but still) I feel like there was so much story they could’ve given us that they just didn’t

to clarify, in japan grandmas sometimes do this thing where they come up to kids on the street and just give them candy… it’s usually acquired taste too… (licorice fits ughhshs)
