#I’m tired and a little cranky#and fretful I won’t sleep well again#three good things: I made something for someone else at work today that will be useful to them#and it took some time#but I’m glad I took the time#two… I enjoyed my nighttime walk with the dogs. I think I need more fresh air and I’ll be less cranky#and the weather was cool but so mild and the moon over the trees was beautiful#three… I am growing a baby inside myself and I think I’m finally releasing some of my defensive anxiety#and letting myself believe it’s really happening to me#I can tell I’m starting to believe it’s real#because I had a total freakout in the car today#about what on earth I was doing and why had I thought this was a good idea or something I could handle alone#I mean it is a good idea… blowing your entire life up irrevocably is almost always a good idea#lest you calcify you know#but the panic means I’m letting myself believe it’s happening#IUI tag

#togashi NOT fucking around with the new chapter omg#the way this was only the second most frightening thing I’ve seen today#the first of course being the insane nose dive in animation quality uzumaki took#ah well at least we have episode 1 ✨#but on topic I’m so glad hxh is back and that togashi is not just able to work again but to work at such a high level again 🥰#I don’t even mind Text x Text but like panels like this are why I hate when people say hxh should just finish out as a novel#the writing in hxh is solid but the way its art shifts around from sketchy and playful to detailed and horrifying is one of its many charms#and is something the anime adaptation actually really misses out on in the name of uniform character modeling#togashi’s versatility as an artist is so wonderful and is a huge part of why I also suggest reading hxh even if you’ve seen the anime#hxh#hunter x hunter#hxh spoilers#hunter x hunter spoilers#hxh 401#if I didn’t have work tomorrow I would’ve spent more time and effort redrawing the bits where there were bubbles#but you get this hasty edit instead lmao

Learnt about a friend’s new obsession with another wings of Fire character, so I decided to draw him! I was originally just gonna do a quick doodle but then I kept going and I really like how it turned out!

It’s finally complete!
I think it turned out alright, but if you notice any white spots or colour over the lines, no you didn’t.
My favourite parts are the Etho in the top left corner, Tango’s hair and the skulk sensor (I spent so long on the highlights on sensor you wouldn’t believe)
I might do more but it’s currently 1:30am and I’m kinda eepy.

Research, sure, lots of research, but even then he was better at the interviews and social deduction sort of research, and the other parts had primarily been microfiche and encyclopedias, and not all of those things turn out to be skills that apply to finding the location of a man who could be, truly and genuinely, anywhere on the fucking planet.

finally finished this reference sheet for my Tav!
he’s a neutral good hobgoblin warlock. his patron is withers! :D he pursued the power to raise the dead after his war band was killed, and took an oath of pacifism… which is mostly follows. it’s not a “real” oath, so he breaks it sometimes (if he feels like he has to) BUT if anyone dies by his hand he will raise them as a creepy zombie and release them into the wild… which is a little chaotic but he thinks it’s good :)
