Idk what they were referring to specifically but there’s loads of fans on Twitter who have previously expressed their feelings towards the way Joni treated fans, a lot of times he favored white Louies and was very openly rude to POCs, a lot of microaggressions as well, but you’d have to search that on Twitter! It’s not talked about much but during the LatAm and Asia tour legs in 2022 it was clear how different he behaved from Idk the US and Europe… It was very weird and at least personally I knew he was going to leave sooner rather than later. But you still have a point.

I haven't seen or heard anything other than praise and love for Joni. But this doesn’t sound good if this is people's experience of him. I wish people would confront him if he's behaving this way and tell him what he's doing is percieved to be racist. I'm not sure he's even aware he's doing it and if he's made aware this racist behaviour might stop.

We have to remember that he's a bodyguard and he's working. He's not your friend. He analyses and percieves threats continuously in the environment he and his principal (Louis) is in. He's on guard at all times. If fans get too rowdy or too close for comfort he might lash out. Racist behaviour is of course not okay at all if that's what happening. The percieved risk is different in different continents and in different situations, so that might explain why people feel like there is a change in his behaviour from continent to continent. I don't think Louis is the easiest subject to guard either.

I don't think we'll ever fully know what happened with Joni and why he quit. I still find his tweets quite revealing and we can only speculate on what happened and how his life has been these last few years.

Like, I love the descriptions and Naoko's character 🤭 (random thing, idk if yk this but when I saw the word, "Naoko" I immediately associated it w a character from Norweigen Wood shsh). Anyways. I love that you gave the cafe lady an actual personality and I like the little descriptions of how each mafia goon had a different way of asking the order.

make a stir fry with the steak strips in the freezer and coconut rice (need something other than pasta to eat this week lmao)

potentially make meringues, potentially make a double recipe so I have some for the office and some for at home (these are so addictive, someone take my mixer and eggs away)

put the damn sheet back on the daybed so it's actually comfortable to sit on (it's been in the laundry pile for a week and a half, clean but not being used lol. I only just put the pillow cases back on the throw pillows yesterday)
