Got the news today that my great-great aunt Ayla has passed away. I am sad, but also happy to know she's free of illness.

She was a wonderful, talented artist, and a big supporter of my art. She had a huge impact in my life and art, and I am glad I had the privilege to have met her and spent time with her.

Yeah. I've tried to start drawing tomorrow's calendar picture, but drawing just makes me sad right now. I'm going to try again tomorrow. Sorry.

Granny update! Good news, she's coming home!🩷

Grandma M is finally strong enough to be flown back home to Finland. The crew at the hospital have done a trach on her, so that she can now breathe without needing the machine.

She and her boyfriend will finally be able to come back and continue the healing process from home, where they don't need wait for translators.

All I can say is Grandma M is one tough lady, and we're happy to have her back home for Christmas🩷🩷
