After a few cancellations, I finally got to meet with the guy responsible for the campus systems in person. Well. He was talking about their plans of adding more buttons to the front door, when I asked if they had a plan to fix the front door automation. To which I was met with a blank stare.

Turns out, that even though I have now made +7 complaints about the electronic locks not working, first of which mind you was in November of 2023, they had somehow completely skipped over the mention of BROKEN LOCKS. ON BOTH MAIN ENTRANCE DOORS.

In other words, hi, I am literally going to switch schools before they fix that door, so who ever had money on the door winning-

Right. So. I'm back home from the eye specialist, have been for a while. I got my results back, they weren't really what I had hoped.

The short version of the story is that left eye is fine and right one is under observation.

Not going to go more into that cause I don't know how things will progress from here on.

Right. So. Bit of an update? Putting stuff under the cut cause ik not everyone wants to hear the medical stuff👍🏻

So. I've been having some vision problems for the better part of 3 years, and I've even talked about them here previously. Blurriness, headaches and double images. 2 years ago was the last time I got my eyes checked, and then nothing seemed to be out of order. I had a check up with an optometrist yesterday and they decided to take scans of my eyes, just as a precaution. WELL, they found problems with both of my eyes, that I will have to get checked out asap (I have a time booked on Tuesday).

Apparently I have weird scarring in my eyes and an anomaly in my optic nerve. Sounds scary, but I am trying to not panic about it just yet.

That being said, I will be having testing done next week and will be a bit blind due to the eye drops they'll use during the procedure. So. Just letting you know I'll be signing off for a bit.

Meeting up with a new occupational therapist tomorrow, hoping to answers to a few questions, mostly concerning my wheelchair and the upcoming move.

Trying to not get too excited, but to keep myself... eh, cautiously optimistic instead😊

Well. My car broke down and left me in the middle of nowhere. Most likely a problem with the battery. Made my 2 hour trip into an 8 hour one.

Had to leave my car at a mechanics ~70km away from home and I don't know how on earth I'm going to get it back yet. But it's there for like the next week.

This week sucks, can I get a refund?

So, funny thing, my order of new drawing pen nibs has been delayed again which means I will have to wait for a few days more to get back to work. I am a bit annoyed, because was supposed to have the nibs delivered on the 6th and have them when I got home, but because apparently there is shipment issues with the company, so every store in Finland is currently out of them.

I am quite dissapointed.

I've had to manually file 12 copyright claims today because of reposting to pinterest, threads and twitter/x. Several pieces, beans, doodles, finished pieces, comms...

And I know there is more I haven't found yet.

It feels super disrespectful and this has honestly just made me sad. I like to believe most people are wonderful and here to just enjoy our little corner of the internet. However people who blatantly steal things and post them as their own or re-repost un-credited art frustrate me to no end.

I'm going to stop beans for a while and focus on solely comms, I am honestly just done with people for the time being.
