Hi, sorry, just realised I haven't posted any art in over a week, didn't mean to disappear, I'm going to try and get back to art real soon. Work has been super stressful and I've sort of used all my free time for sleeping just to keep up with the pace. Don't really want to get into it but its social work so you can probably guess.

Basically been on call for 4 days straight, but now things should be more settled so I can relax a bit.

I have plans for future art stuff, going to try and schedule some time off to get back to it. Thanks for sticking around, love you all, sending big hugs <3

Update! Good news!!

Ended up emailing the big boss of the whole school, and things started happening immediately, right that day.

After 6+ months of asking people to fix an issue with a door, writing countless emails, and getting told my requests weren't "possible", the maintenance team magically fixed it in two days.

I've been promised changes, and the plans I've seen cover all the issues I've been dealing with on a daily basis, mainly the elevator and adding more automatic doors. They also promised to finally fix the main door that I've been emailing about for almost a year now.

Long post, so putting the medical stuff under cut:

I'm getting transferred to yet another specialist, my nurse is disappointed in the lack of help we've received from cardiology so we're trying yet another plan. Might have to travel all the way to Helsinki to get the tests done but at this point I don't really care, just hoping I don't rack up too much debt with this whole operation, heh.

Object is still to get a clinical diagnosis so I could get an official rehab plan and get fitted with a proper wheelchair, since right now my care at the clinic is still considered "temporary" and "non-essential."

But yeah. Things are happening, plans are being made, hopefully this saga will get an ending sooner rather than later and I can just. Go back to school normally.

........I forgot my drawing tablet at my parent's house ~3 hours away, and I now have to wait for mom to mail it back to me :( Looks like we're switching back to traditional art for a bit

Finally a step forward with the campus staff: received an email from maintenance detailing their plan of fixing things up to make moving around easier/safer, but also a proper written apology about the delays (6 months) and the comments and 'suggestions' I've been given by staff (latest being "well can you bring your own toilet paper to school?")

Pretty happy with the plan so far, honestly, it did cover a lot of the big issues, and I look forward to meeting with the team again on Monday🩷 Mostly just glad that the right people have been consulted, I've seen an actual plan of action and I can finally stop bugging the info desk people. Yippee

For context: My physio was losing his faith in my school staff and just muttered that "no one can be that dumb, they MUST be doing this on purpose..." and just started writing things down.

Today at PT my physio described my school situation as "Kafkaesque" and asked me if I've seen the movie "Truman Show".

Safe to say the paperwork hell continues.
