steve and robin casually taking on each other's interests like its nothing. Robin watching sports games and occasionally giving her best go at basketball (and having an absolute blast swimming laps) with steve. steve listening to robin play and trying new weird music with her and even fucking around with her trumpet when she'll allow it. they're not the best at their new interests but they just do it together anyway and have fun just engaging with their hobbies together

just stobin hanging out and joining in on the things the other loves. not really into it personally but its that hobby with the other that makes it fun

Honestly, my biggest fear for season 5 is a jump of a few years where Robin and Steve are no longer that close.

Like, nothing major happened but they drifted apart, maybe Robin went to Europe and Steve stayed in Indiana and they promised to visit often but then life happens and you make excuses, and then 5 years pass quickly and you realize you're basically strangers.

And this is my biggest fear because it's realistic, not every friendship last forever so I couldn't even be mad at the Duffers but I've read one too many fanfics with codependent Stobin that if those two don't platonically get married it would just break my heart.

Piper had an Undercut and Leo helps her trim it (and he's the one who cut it in the first place)

Building off that last one: Leo feels EXTREMELY guilty abt his Mum, and one night at the wilderness school he just breaks down and Piper finds him and he tells her everything,

They share clothes (both like oversized stuff)

Leo absolutely hates the fact he likes Jason, (his Best Friend's bf. if I'm staying canon compliant)

even after Piper moves she and Leo are still in contact and Iris message all the time

Piper does her best to make sure Leo never finds out what FNAF is because she KNOWS Leo would try to recreate it (I mean, is she wrong?)

people usually assume they're either biologically related or dating

Piper can't cook for shit, Leo is actually really good

they're the kind of friends who text (in this case iris message) so much when they meet up in person they literally have nothing to talk about. that won't stop them though

they do each others nails

Piper helped Leo pierce his ears a second and third time (he already had one for fun)

if Leo has extra metal from whatever project he's working on he makes Piper Earrings

Piper makes sure Leo wears his retainer (he forgets a lot)

they see each other as their sibling. and treat each other as such

or pays attention to her, and now that steve has eddie... she was going to be left in the dust.

she'd been quiet.

"rob?"

and he's been bugging her all day.

"oh my GOD, steve. im fine. why do you care? im just your little side kick anyways."

she immediately feels bad because right after she says it steve's eyes go all glassy, and that stupid little frown is spread across his face.

"did. did i make you feel like that? rob. i am so sorry. i- i have never seen you as a side kick. you're. you're my best friend... even if i'm not yours... i'm sorry."

and robin sighs, tears pricking her eyes. "you are my best friend, steve. sometimes i just feel like i can't compare."

"robin."

she looks at him, his face is serious in a way she's only seen a few times.

"you played a major part in the person i am today. you are my best friend. you ARE my person. i always want to be your person."

his arms are stretched out, reaching for a hug. "you are so much more than just my friend, robin. i can't even begin to tell you how you've changed the lives of everyone around you." and robin shuffles her way towards him, head thumping against his chest, curling into the touch as steve's arms wrap around her.

"thanks, steve. you're my person, too."

After the Russian Base, Steve turns into an anxious drunk that will keep close to Robin when at parties. Robin is the same, as now they had a taste of what it was like not being able to stop the words out of their mouths and stop the stumbling of non-responsive limbs. No one truly knows why Steve sometimes needs to lean on Robin when he gets like this or why Robin sometimes holds Steve when they lie down on the coach, as if trying to remember a heartbeat. No one knows.

Eddie wants to know. But never asks.

absolutely love this post about steve and robin fighting like sisters over their clothes. they totally do that thing where if one of them can't find an article of clothing, they immediately burst into the other person's room and start tearing it apart to find whatever they're looking for. if they're annoyed enough they'll tell on each other to their significant others. robin loves to hit eddie with a "if you see your boyfriend, tell him he better give me my button up back" steve tells nancy "can you please take your girlfriend to go buy her own damn sweaters" after they fight they go get lunch or coffee together and forget that they were practically fist fighting over a shirt
