ok then how about if lucy was born naturally instead of being an ecto-child effectively resulting in her having no post scratch equivalent in a2, ergo leading to raz being a b1 human instead of an a2 troll
and shenanigans result in lucy entering the b1 earth where she saws off her horns and takes the identity of a human, specifically marona after witnessing a meteor body her, said meteor was bearing an infant augustus, of whom she adopts on the spot
also in regards to hemocasting for the trolls
ford/norma: cobalt
compton/sam: bronze
cassie/adam: gold
bob/lizzie: jade
helmut/morris: indigo
otto/gisu: teal
lucy: purple
theodore/gristol: fuschia
also imagine this: norma and lizzie end up getting the same hive because their lusae somehow chose the same last name
while homestuck doesn't generally seem to say that trolls can have siblings, I do like the typical fanon theories that trolls sharing the same symbol/bloodtype or lusus could generally be considered siblings, so I like that as an explaination for norma and lizzie :-)
tho if I could suggest I feel like ford/norma should be burgundy instead of cobalt. ford doesn't seem like a higher royalty type + norma's most interesting when she's trying really hard to prove she's worth respecting and being treated seriously
all the other blood colors are chill tho no more objections there
if you wanna make the p7 and interns trolls, having lucy assume human marona's identity is a neat way to refer back to the original comic and the game at the same time, so thats fun too
back to the original set up you suggested, when you didnt know who should be with lucy cal and truman, the way you had set it up makes it look like you drew a connection between cal and dogen, which is Interesting. dart's a weird enigma of a cut character and while unfortunately I do not typically dig into the lipo documents bc I don't care for them, might I suggest that fuckin weirdo who ford originally had his mind shattering dual with.
if you don't feel like using such a weird useless character tho, maybe uuuuuuh boyd? he's basically like the PN poster child for its mind level designs. that feels natural feels organic, the rest of the thorny towers crew could get bit rolls or something.
Sheegor is also an option. her and cal having to be on the same team would be a nightmare
those are a bunch of different roads to go down, and like I said I might like develop my own take on the au but you keep truckin bc sburb is a mess and there's many doors

HELLO DONT MIND ME JUMPING IN
(firstly some of my ideas come from the fic Dayveh's Broken Diamond Club on AO3. Great read if u haven't read it. It's a troll AU, so lots of fun troll lore)
So love the idea that when troll society becomes more progressive and less castist they'd us 'cold blood' instead of 'high blood; and 'warm blood' instead of 'low blood'.
In terms of Alterinan (language), I think the reason the humans & trolls can understand each other is because the game autotranslates. That's also why you get clunky words like "loadgapper", it's because it's the game is trying to translate a slang not present in English.
Speaking of slang, the idea of a low blood slang is comparable to something like cockney slang. Rust thru to lime all use warm blood vernacular, and indigo threw to fuchsia use the words that more directly translate to English. Additionally, more insular communities, (Clown Church, Jade caverns, and fish trolls respectively) would have some of their own slang that isn't recognised by other trolls. (Think of it like American English vs Australian English vs British English.)
Then there's the mid bloods. Jades are their own closed community. They would be taught cold blood vernacular cos mother grub raising is important n respected task. But they would also have their own phrases n slang other cast wouldn't recognise. Teals are expected to be presentable n work with cold bloods so they would be taught cold blood vernacular as well. Ceruleans are often trying to climb the social ladder and prove themselves to be cold bloods not mid, so they would use cold blood language. Olives! would be a special middle ground, they would use a combination of the two that varies from person to person. For example Nepeta has a cold blooded quadrantmate so is likely to be more inclined to use cold blood vernacular. Compared to Konyyl who had a warm blood quadrantmate, might be more inclined to use warm blood vernacular!
Also, I also tots agree with the idea that trolls shed every year or so. But also they have to major molts. One when they go from grub to adolescence (I'd say this molt would happen between 2 - 4 human years) And then they have their adult molt. (Personally I do like the headcanon that different casts have different life spans, but I get why others don't) but cos of that, I think different cast would have their adult molts at different ages.
Molt Age Warm 16 - 20 y/o Mid 19 - 24 y/o Cold 25 - 35 y/o
also my personal life span headcanon Burgundy 40 - 55 years Bronze 50 - 70 years Gold - 50 - 90 years* Lime 75 - 90 years Olive 80 - 100 years Jade 100 - 125 years Teal 115 - 150 years rulean 125 - 200 years Indigo 150 - 200 years Purple 200 - 300 years iolet 300 - 600 years Fuschia 1000 - 10 000 years *there is alot of compilations with psionics, golds with weak/no psi tend to age like bronzes. Mid level psionics are able to live longest typically, as the befits of having psi are at their best. Compared to high level psionics, who psi makes them weaker to diseases like voidrot, along having a higher complication rate when helming.

I recently spent almost two hours reviving and redesigning old fantrolls with a friend- these are my three, Pallya, Darien, and Aphtos. I’d like to do something with them one day, but I’m not sure what, so for now they might be doomed to stay in conceptual form like this ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

on power, mel and silco
I have a lot of fascination for these two as mirrors/foils of a sort, with their contrasting imagery, and colour palettes, Mel associated with light, often shown under the glare of the Sun in warm golds, bronze, and ivory while Silco tends to be a creature of the shadows, even down to his subterranean Bond villain lair in the first episodes, and his signature colours lean more towards dark crimsons, roiling olive greens, black, indigo (see: first row of GIFs). Also they both apparently love a good tipple, and we see them more than once with a glass or tumbler of liquor in hand, I RESPECT THAT (see: second row).
There’s much that could be said about it, and I think I saw a bit of commentary in the early days that was all, see how Silco and Mel are both power-hungry and manipulative, which means they’re very evil and we should all hate them, hate Mel etc. Which is an angle I don’t care about so if one’s hoping for that, this is not the post for it.
I’m mostly interested in the ways that they use power. Of all the characters in this story, Silco and Mel are probably the most fluent and adept in how power works, they want it, they know how it functions, how to build it, how to wield it to achieve one’s ends (obviously apart from Ambessa, but we’ll get to her).
But what interests me here is the ways in which they are quite similar in their approach (both are incredibly good at reading people, picking apart what makes them tick, what impulses drive them, their strengths, and weaknesses, what levers can be pushed or pulled to achieve ideal results) and just how differently they do it—
desire / fear
Where Mel appeals to desire / want, (what do you want or need, what do you aspire to, what are you greedy for, what can only I offer you or bribe you with to win your loyalty, cooperation, allyship, debt) and plays on those to position people and play the game effectively. Silco tends to use fear / intimidation, (how can I threaten or torment you into bending to my will, what can I deny you or take from you to secure obedience, loyalty, subservience, debt) (see: GIFs of Mel with Hoskel / Silco with Finn). I do think there are moments when Silco does slide along the spectrum to playing on desire even if terror is the core of how he understand power—and that makes utter sense, no, given his background. It’s part of what makes him so compelling and slippery, and effective.
Obviously, Mel was raised to use the fear / intimidation / sending a brute force message approach by Ambessa because that’s how you win wars. Like if it’s a continuum, Mel’s on one end, Ambessa’s on the other end, and Silco’s somewhere in the middle, leaning more towards Ambessa but deploying it differently because Silco’s an enterprising “industrialist” as much as he’s anything else and Ambessa is a pure warrior who meets foes with the blunt end of a weapon, while Mel is a diplomat with an investor’s sensibilities that conflict with a tender heart.
ANYWAY
This is not some comprehensive meta or anything, I just was having fun with GIFs and decided to write about it. BUT.
My kingdom for so many AU fics and scenarios. Because I deserved at least ONE scene with these two on the show. Silco as a Noxian spymaster in the Medarda court (@arcane-ish), Mel as a Zaunite chem-baron vying for a bigger slice than the rest and butting heads with Silco. Mel and Silco being allies, working from Piltover and Zaun respectively, and maximizing their different strengths and skills to win the entire game (I have about 5k of this one).

TELL ME BOUT HOMESTUCK!
yes chef.
ok so we'll go with my favourite parts, the quadrant system and the hemospectrum. Both of these are part of troll society (trolls are grey, yellow eyes, black hair, orange horns), and play very important roles in reproduction (quadrants), and societal roles (hemospectrum).
First, the quadrant system: There are four, each representing a different kind of emotion. We'll go left -> right, top to bottom. (note: no quadrants have set pronunciations, say them however you like.)
<3 The first quadrant is the red or flushed quadrant, more typically known as Matespritship. It is represented by a red heart. It is the most familiar to humans, being a typical romantic/sexual relationship built on positive feelings. Not much else to explain, except that the sexual part is not required unless going by canon alternian rules, which have a very strict system and requires all trolls to reproduce.
<> Next is the pale quadrant, also known as Moiraillegience (Singular: Moirail), or a palemate. This is represented by a pale pink diamond, and is built on positive feelings. Sexuality is not a part of this quadrant, instead it is more necessary for keeping two trolls grounded instead of doing some sort of acrobatic fucking pirouette off the handle. It is usually more one-sided, but both need eachother to some degree. One of my good friends describes it as a 'platonic soulmate', though in troll society it is considered a form of romance, being judged in the same way if cheated as if a 'normal' relationship had a cheating partner.
<3< Next is the black, or caliginous quadrant, also known as Kismesissitude (singular: kismesis). It is represented by a black spade, and is built on negative feelings. It is the second of the two sexual quadrants, and in canon is described as a 'very potent arch-rivalry'. The two (or more, if open to polyamoury) people in the relationship must hate eachother just as passionately as the other (very). Despite the absolute hatred they must have for eachother, a certain amount of respect must be held. A kismesis, just like a matesprit, shines light on traits about yourself you may not want to acknowledge, or even know that they're there. A healthy kismesis relationship will always have some level of respect for the other, if not an Auspistice is needed.
o8< The final quadrant, called the ashen quadrant, known formally as Auspisticism, requires atleast three people. It is represented by a grey club. In canon, it is when one troll steps in to an abusive/disloyal kismesissitude to try getting things back on track. Essentially, relationship therapists. I personally enjoy the idea that it can apply to all quadrants, and can also double as a matchmaker. This idea is very uncanon. If the auspistice doesn't care enough, the relationship will crumble.
The next part of my essay is the Hemospectrum. It is the caste system that troll society lives by. It is determined by blood colour, since trolls come in different blood colours. The lowest caste is rust, and the highest caste is fuchsia. The exact lineup is Rust, Bronze, Gold, Lime*, Olive, Jade, Teal, Cerulean, Indigo, Purple, Violet, and Fuchsia. Lower castes have higher psychic powers, but higher castes live longer, with fuchsias possibly living millions of years. Most trolls wear their blood colour prominently, with the exception of trolls outside the hemospectrum (aka mutants) (because they would be culled if their blood colour was discovered)
*Limebloods are extinct in canon; due to their psychic abilities to pacify highbloods they were all culled.
Rustbloods have dark red blood, and the strongest psychic capabilities (commonly telekinesis). They only live about a dozen or two sweeps (one sweep equals about 2.16 years), or about 25-50 years.
Bronzebloods have dark orange-ish blood, and commonly have the power to communicate with animals. Their lives are slightly shorter than an average human life.
Goldbloods have dark yellow blood, and often have strange eyes, being one or two flat colours with no pupils. They also often have more than two horns. Their psychic powers most commonly are associated with technology, and their lifespans are comparable to that of a human.
Not much is known of limes, because they were all culled before the events of homestuck. It is known that they had some unusual names, and the ability to pacify highbloods through their psychic power. One of the signs in the lime caste, Cancer, transcends the hemospectrum entirely, and is the religious symbol of what is basically troll jesus.
Olive blood is a dark green colour. Nothing is said about any psychic powers they may have. Their lifespans are comparable to that of a human, most likely more. Troll Will Smith is an oliveblood.
Jadebloods have greenish-blue blood. Jades are especially important in troll society, being the caretakers of the Mother Grub (The giant monster that births all trolls). Jades typically live longer than a century. They are said to probably have the smallest caste population apart from fuchsias. The Jades who care for the Mother Grub are also tasked with culling off any grubs (troll babies) that are deemed 'too weak' or have some sort of imperfection (disability, mutant blood, etc.). Jades are also able to become Rainbow Drinkers (troll vampires), though it is suggested that becoming a rainbow drinker is sacrilegious.
Tealbloods have teal blood. They often work as legislacerators, aka lawyers. Not much else to be said about them, except for the fact that they have the best character in the series: Terezi Pyrope. i love her (platonically).
Ceruleanbloods have cobalt blue blood, and are sometimes called Cobalt because of this. They often have strange eyes (Vriska has 8 pupils in her left eye, my fantroll has four in his right eye, and one from hiveswap has a third eye under their right eye). They also often have asymmetrical horns. Some ceruleans have the ability to read/control minds, and this can be very dangerous if abused. The trolls with more pupils/eyes often have much better vision, and can see through surfaces that would appear opaque to anyone else.
Indigobloods have electric blue blood. They often have horns resembling arrows, and sometimes have terrifying physical strength.
Purplebloods have cool purple blood. They are the highest of the land-dwelling castes, and most all of them participate in a clown-based religion, wearing juggalo-like makeup to show their affiliation. A few purplebloods are selected to rule as both religious and political leaders, the religious bit only applying to those who are part of the religion. In canon, only one of these 'Grand Highbloods' is mentioned, though i choose to believe that there are multiple who govern in different parts of the Alternian empire.
Now we move onto the seadwelling castes, the royalty of trollkind.
Violetbloods have warm purple blood, and more aquatic features (they still have legs tho). Not much to say about them other than i like their blood colour.
Fuchsiabloods have magenta blood, and also have aquatic features. There are only ever two at a time, The Imperious Condescension, and the heir to the throne. TIC is in control of the entire alternian empire, and can possibly live up to millions of years. Both Fuchsiabloods are connected to the gl'bgolyb, a giant monster of tentacles that can release a scream that kills all the trolls in the universe. To prevent it from doing this without a command, it must be fed other troll's guardian monsters (aka Lusii, sing. Lusus). The control of the gl'bgolyb is why TIC is feared and able to keep such a grip on all of trollkind.
Mutants are trolls who are outside of the hemospectrum, and thus are almost always culled when they hatch. The ones that manage to sneak through hide their blood colour, because they'll also be culled if found out later. Troll Jesus was a mutant, having bright red blood.
And that's my infodump! hope you don't regret telling me to do this :)

Easy Candlework 101 - All you must know
So you wanna use candles, right?! Keep reading for more juice.❤
Tumblr media
Hey guys, today I'm sharing with you the most essential info & rules to achieve effective candlework in your everyday life. I'll try to keep it as concise and simple as possible & hope this post helps you maximize the outcome of your rituals!
Little disclaimer: by *ritual* I mean the sole purpose you're using the candle for. Your commitment and intent IS THE RITUAL. Not necessarily related to a session featuring other magic tools and formal spellwork.
To make sure you're using the best candle for your intent, check each specific correspondence here below. Focus on your goal and consider for how long are you going to use the candle. Practice makes perfect! *PLEASE STAY SAFE WHILE HANDLING CANDLES, FIRES AND MATCHES. BE EXTRA CAREFUL, DON'T LEAVE CANDLES UNATTENDED.*
Thank you loves, xox msmoonfire IG: msmoonfire
1. When to light a candle.
Candles should be used ONLY IN MOMENTS OF NEED, STRUGGLE AND WEAKNESS. Using a candle in moments where it's not necessary is INEFFECTIVE. You can't use them as an "additional" or "supportive" ritual for what is already perfectly fine. Save yourself some money and stop wasting candles for non-honorable purposes. Fire energy is proud and very strong, it doesn't like just to be a useless "accessory" in your space. Do not offend it.
Each time you light a candle, there must be a serious reason why.
2. What candle do I choose?
Size, height, duration, color and scent all depend on your needs.
Maxi votive candles (40h+ duration) - Use if you're stuck in a situation that'll take long weeks or even an entire month to come to an end: you can light it every night for 2-3 hours until you achieve your goals.
Big candles (30h+ duration) - Use if you're stuck in a situation that'll take about 15 days to come to an end: you can light it every night for 2-3 hours until you achieve your goals.
Medium candles (20-26h duration) - Use if you're stuck in a situation that'll take between 1 week and 10 days to come to an end: you can light it every night for 2-3 hours until you achieve your goals.
Mini candles (2-4h duration) - Use if you're invoking the help of fire energy for just a 1-day matter, use tealights and small candles. Let it burn until the flame expires by itself, do not suppress it.
BARE CANDLE: it's the candle alone, you decide what type of candle holder goes underneath. Plates, flat coasters & ashtrays are recommended. Very effective in small sizes. Use if you don't need extra protection and for shortest term rituals (1-2 days). When larger, it can be placed inside a lantern or vase (read VASE C. or LANTERN). Can't be lit in social settings, indoor only. This type of candle supports the presence of other flames.
JAR CANDLE: Jarred candle or jar containing a candle, includes a jar cap. The cap is very useful for suppressing the flame gently; this type is recommended for long term rituals that require you to light up and extinguish the candle every night. Excellent for patience, perseverance, affection and self-help. Can be lit in social settings ALONE, without the interference of other candles.
LANTERN: whatever candle you decide to place inside a lantern. Best effective for welcoming GUIDANCE, spirituality, PEACE, HOPE and INSPIRATION. DON'T USE for anything related to sadness/negativity/confusion, this candle WON'T HELP YOU SOLVE PROBLEMS. Can only be lit in private or familiar settings, both outdoor and indoor. This type of candle supports the presence of other bare flames at a reasonable distance.
VASE CANDLE: candle poured or placed inside a vase holder. Vase candles don't have a cap, they're open on top. Best suitable for pyromancy/flame reading, social relationships, deep spellwork and protection (the taller the vase/the darker the color of the vase, the stronger the protection). By far the most powerful yet sensitive of all, can't be lit in social settings. Indoor only. This type of candle DOES NOT support the presence of other flames.
ROUND/FLOATING CANDLE: has round edges, made to float on water during a relaxing bath or just for atmosphere in a pond. They interact well with water energy, best suitable for emotions, mystery and for any sort of healing ritual. Can be lit in social settings but most effective in private, both indoor and outdoor. This type of candle supports the presence of other "twin" flames.
CLASSIC THIN & TALL CANDLE (candelabra): typical slender candle, excellent for spirituality, enlightment, ambition, special occasions and wealth. Being a tall candle, it strives towards a higher dimention and energy. Can be lit in social settings, indoor only. Supports the presence of other flames. Best effective if colored (non-white).
3. What color should I pick?
White: neutral wishes, positive energy within ourselves, light-hearted thoughts, purity, weather, anything home-related, balance, equality, winter.
Black: deep issues, overcoming fears and disorders, difficult problems of any sort, protection, investigation, inner strength, vision, tension, explicit clarity, negative energy to fight off.
Indigo, Purple: spirituality, beliefs, transformation, rebirth, higher knowledge, research, prayers, emotional connection, meditation, strong neutral energy that needs to be channeled upwards.
Blue: motivation, logic, control, consistency, physical movement, gaps and lacks of any sort, donations, masculine energy, males, assertiveness, addiction, prizes, charts, competitiveness, law.
Lilac, light blue, turquoise, periwinkle etc.: freedom, exploration, travel, serenity, peace of mind, good will, big steps, dreams, mood improvement, healing, positive energy that needs to expand, summer.
Light/Dark grey: must use this color only in case you run out of candles or have a minor neutral doubt. It's the weakest, most vulnerable color of all. Its absolute neutrality can be affected by negativity.
Yellows: your own relationship with nature outdoor, vitality, the arts, music, musical instruments, games, service, help, encouragement, small steps, new life, newborns, babies, spring.
Oranges: boldness, personality, social relationships, respect, parties, breaking control, breaking the rules, breaking patterns, decision making, negative energy from other people that needs to be sent back to the source, breakups.
Browns: formalities, work environment, stability, assets, tasks, stasis, milestones, practicalities, buildings, construction, neutral energy that has to stay fixed and stored inside your own body and possessions, long term memory, autumn.
Greens: environment, plants, progress, accountability, sustainability, food, sports, animals, crafts, strong neutral energy that is essential for our survival, common sense, empathy, inspiration.
Pinks (antique, candy, dust...): Love, collaboration, confessions, talks/chats, sex, behavioral changes, patience, understanding, menstrual cycle, labor, delivery, reception, friendships, courage, gossip, feminine energy, females, intuition.
Reds: passions (hobbies, competitions, dreams, jobs), determination, fury, anger, negative energy that needs to be balanced out, high pressure, stress, beauty, glamour, taboos, speed, war, drama, devastation, destruction, short term memory.
Fuchsia: anything moral, ethic thoughts, human rights, philosophy, heightened sensitivity/intuition, humanitarian propaganda, originality, demonstrations, collectivity, unity, deep conversations, study, culture, open mind.
Gold: = Yellow + all things money-related and sunshine.
Silver: loneliness, cozy environment, cold temper, sacred space, the outer space, modernity, modern style, metals, fish, any measure of time, time, clocks, watches, anything cold/frozen/precious/eternal.
Bronze: similar to brown + the past, hearth, wood, the 4 seasons, strength, warm environment, anything cooked/boiling hot/old/seasoned, spices, resistance, hospitality, endurance, restoration, recycling, maintenance.

FUCK IT, DREAM SMP HOMESTUCK AU
but it's only half shitposts and there are actual Thoughts in there.
You don't need to have read the comic to understand because I tried not to spoil anything major, but it'd help if you knew basic stuff about classpects, SBURB and the hemospectrum.
disclaimer: i'm not a good pixel artist and this is my first actual sprites ever so please be kind to my weird pixels
Tumblr media
The Kids:
Tommy
Fundy
Techno
Tubbo
tommy, tubbo and fundy one of the kids because they're the kids in dream smp canon (with fundy being son of wilbur)
techno's there because i want to make a dave strider reference (haha get it because techno's name is also da-- *gets shot) and also because they are both coolguys except instead of using irony, techno has adhd
The Trolls:
Wilbur Soohte (fuschia)
?????? Ehrret (violet)
J????? Shlatt (purple)
Nihacu Niikki (indigo)
Skeppy Diamon (cerulean)
Quacki Tthiey (teal)
Philza Myncra (jade)
Dreame Wastkn (lime disguising as olive)
George Notfou (gold)
Sapphe Nahfpe (bronze)
Badboy Haelow (burgundy)
don't come at me saying only females are allowed to be jades and fuschias; gender is fake and this is an au
more of the AU and the talksprites are under the cut:
Tommy
Tumblr media
Lunar sway: Derse. Types in: Red
chaotic. the first person to be introduced.
when he gets introduced instead of the “Zoosmell Pooplord” bit, Tommy is initially going to be the name inputted but then backspaced it and decided that Tommyinnit was better and he was fuming until he’s named Tommy.
Gives me big Blood/Hope vibes. Blood because a lot of the conflict of the dream smp connected to someone breaking his trust or harming the things he cares about, Hope because a lot of the plot of the dream smp stems from Tommy starting shit based on his ideals and what he thinks is right.
the first to instigate fighting against the trolls
bbh contacts him once and tommy keeps cursing until he disconnects from frustration rip
wields Gunkind and his only strife weapon at the beginning is the Vlog gun. He has Gunkind as his strife specibus mainly because he looked up at schlatt and he imitates him.
Fundy
Tumblr media
Lunar sway: Prospit. Types in: Orange
it was his idea to play SBURB but only through Dream.
he talks to dream the most among the other trolls fwt stans getcha juice this is the rosemary of the session
dream’s the one giving him exposition about the game so that’s how he knows how to play SBURB.
wilbur trolls fundy once and instantly adopts him.
“You’re my son.” “How does that even work??” “I was one of the people who created your universe. It’s basically the same thing.”
Fundy relents anyway.
Techno
Tumblr media
Lunar sway: Derse. Types in: Pink
dave strider but dead-inside voice + rose lalonde english major vibes
he slices the text box when you try to name him "Dave " like in
Tumblr media
techno gives me time player vibes (contantly on the move. his skyblock series, his “stays in the pit” monologue,) but also rage vibes (anarchy,  the “theseus” monologue, political alignment is Chaos) alas i am not sure what class
uses Tridentkind and claims "it came from god"
it was dream, he accidentally transportalized one of wilbur’s weapon while he testing the transportalizer.
Tubbo
Tumblr media
Lunar sway: Prospit. Types in: Green
the jade harley of this session. the only thing keeping them from going apeshit. where would they be without him.
but also jade harley in a sense that he seems nice and wholesome but also don’t fuck with them they can mess you up
Heart/Life vibes??? someone good at classpecting help
i put them in prospit bc of the "tubbo third eye" instead of tubbo having a sixth sense or smth, they see the future from the clouds of skaia when they sleep
wields Stress-relieverKind at some point
bonus: everyone’s actual hair colors
Tumblr media
Ideas about the Trolls
no i haven’t done their sprites yet bc it would take so much time and i’m not even sure if people wanna see more of this au skjdkdsakdfkl,, but i have Design Ideas.
events of the dsmp revolution are just a FLARP session drawing parallels to how the homestuck trolls had a FLARP session that spoiler alert: destroyed friendships. dtrio, eret, will are involved. eret betrays will's faction and wilbur's still Bitter over that.
on the context of alternia (highbloods and lowbloods) lmanburg and dreamsmp have their roles SWAPPED.  the emancipation theme thing is completely gone since highbloods are in more power than the lowbloods (the dream team) .
wilbur made a faction called l’manburg because he wants a place where he and his fellow highbloods could make drugs vibe.they take a piece of land that was owned by the dream team. in normal circumstances, they shouldve stood down because lowbloods aren't supposed to start shit with highbloods (especially a group of highbloods that has the alternian heir among them)  but dream turned it into an activism thing about lowblood rights. the story plays as close as possible without tommy or tubbo in it (which is pretty hard ik but this is the best can do).
like in the dreamsmp revolution, dream kinda let wilbur do what he wants but this time he has more reason to because he’s in a lower caste. dream really only fought back when wilbur announced that he’d be building lmanburg on their land and calling it theirs.
eret betrays wilbur by supporting the lowbloods and wilbur and co. technically won but only because he finally called the drones in, as a reference to how lmanburg absolutely got crushed by the dream team in the smp but technically won. l’manburg keeps the piece of land and the dream team scatter away to find a new home.
wilbur soot's a fuschia because a) he's in a position that has a lot of power, b) yknow how he wrote a song about squids and his thing with sally… yeah.
eret's a violet because nobility!! dream looks down on him because he's ambivalent on fighting for lowblood rights when he's in a power to do so "you just sit there, and you look pretty that's it"
also like eridan he has a minor aesthetic mutation (herobrine eyes) that won't classify him as a mutant.
jschlatt is purple because it makes sense thematically because of the gamzee parallels (a. substance abuse b. if you know what happens in act 6, you know this already but spoiler alert, he ruins the main protagonists' lives) also he's a funnyman he deserves the clown caste
quackity's a teal because he’s a law student. moving on--
ok but for real it also makes sense thematically because he's the one who wrote the thing that tricked schlatt into agreeing also he gets manipulated by schlatt which also draws parallels to certain events in the comic
skeppy and bbh are BEST FRIENDS despite being highblood and lowblood respectively. initially, skeppy just wanted to bother bbh but they grew to be good friends in time. y’know like how they actually becane friends :D
philza minecraft is a jade because dad friend. also works thematically, because spoiler alert he gets to murder a seadweller for going batshit crazy.
he also god tiers early. he dies fighting his quick undead denizen (haha baby zombie) but the consorts of his land carry him to his quest bed because he’s treated them all so well.
dream was initially going to be another caste but then i realized that means i have to make his hoodie something other than green which is unacceptable so its a good thing the fact that he's a lime works out
dream was the one who thought of playing sgrub in the first place- initially only planned to have gogy, sap, and bbh in the session but then realized that they four won't be enough so he invited more into his session
he’s also the first to go godtier ez clap blind speedrun not sure what classpect tho
the only reason why dream avoided being culled at birth for being a limeblood is because his rng is That Good. he quickly picked up the fact that he’s not supposed to exist and masqueraded as an oliveblood and kept mostly to himself to avoid suspicion.
george is still colorblind but he has lazer eyes along with it instead. dream lives with him in the same hive since being a mutant means dream doesn’t get a lusus of his own (dnf fans getcha juice “and they were roommates”)
despite living in the same hive, he never really figures out that dream is a limeblood. possibly because a) he’s colorblind and when he sees dream bleeding he just sees yellow b) he’s just that fucking oblivious and it’s so valid of him.
sapnap’s a bronzeblood mainly because i know he’s the instigator of the pet war with tommy also because i associate him with the color orang in my mind so bronze it is
that’s the end of this long-ass post!! if you have other ideas PLEASE i want to hear them. i don’t know the other streamers i mentioned in here very well so if you have ideas that would be fitting to them like with classpect or lunar sway that would be GREAT.
the only thing i’m confident about in here are the kids’ lunar sways. i’m not an expert in classpects and homestuck lore so there’s that too!! i just wanted to make this post because adhd means that the idea wouldn’t shut up until i finished it. This initially started as a single shitpost edit of tommyinnit talksprite but then the hiveswap 2 trailer came out and that means i have to combine my two hyperfixations.
also i have ideas about potential quadrants but idk how much of that is breaking some streamers’ boundaries about shipping (even the non romantic quads such as kismesistude, morallegiance and auspisticism) so i decided not to include it.
edit: apparently people want more so i made a discord server as a place to brainstorm!! please pm me to join!

Roles/Interests and Blood Colour
Troll society appears to have an influence on the roles and interests expected of trolls based on their blood colour. These observations are as follows:
Rust: Rust bloods appear to be expected to take on manual labour or essential work, such as cleaning. They are meant to do this constantly and enjoy it. They are expected to always help and listen to highbloods, often acting as servants. They have a tendency to be connected to the dead.
Bronze: It is possible for Bronze bloods to become cavalreapers, but they are also expected to be pilots for spaceflight. This can often extend to an interest in flight. They appear to often be connected to the country and have great respect for animals.
Gold: They are often connected with and interested in technology and similar systems, often having an online presence or watching streams. They can also be connected to bees. Goldbloods who are powerful psionics may be enslaved to power spacecraft.
Mutant/Lime: Lacking information. Likely always living in hiding, and therefore may take on the roles/interests expected of another blood colour. Karkat is interested in becoming a threshecutioner - this role may or may not be reserved for particular blood colours, but if so it is likely for Olive bloods.
Olive: It is possible for Olive bloods to become cavalreapers, and this combined with their potential role as threshecutioners, suggest they are often expected to be members of the Alternian military. Olive bloods appear to commonly become interested in relationships. They tend to often have an interest in art and they also tend to be skilled fighters. They tend to live near nature. They are more often ignored by society.
Jade: Jade bloods are expected to work in the caverns, caring for grubs and serving the Mother Grub. They are expected to be disconnected from others. Their role in the caverns, and thus sometimes their interests/personalities, tend to reflect roles within a school (note the references to things such as boarding school, mom friends and detention). They tend to have an interest in books and/or writing, typically poetry or stories.
Teal: Teal bloods are expected to be interested in government roles, such as being legislacerators. Like Jade bloods, they are also expected to be interested in books, though typically academic or law related. They tend to speak formally and present themselves professionally.
Blue: Blue bloods appear to be expected to be confident, cruel and vicious. They often take on jobs or a social media presence that supports their highblood status. They also appear to have a tendency to steal things, including via things like hacking or plagiarising.
Indigo: Indigo bloods can become things such as ruffianihilators or archeradicators, therefore often taking on noble fighting roles. They tend to have an interest in arts and can take on jobs similar to Blue bloods, but do not seem to require a following to prove their status. They often act superior to those around them.
Purple: They tend to be subjuggulators, which is both a religious and political role. They tend to have roles that give them an influence over others and would seem typical of being in a circus, often making them entertainers.
Violet: Lacking information. They appear to have the status of nobles or even royalty.
Fuchsia: Lacking information. They are the rulers of Alternia.
All: For each blood colour, they also experience expectations relating to the aspect and two classes associated with their blood colour (see canon alpha and beta homestuck trolls to know what the classes are. I recommend watching optimisticDuelist’s videos on blood colour to understand this further).
Disclaimer: These are my own observations based on canon information. Although I may desire to treat these as rules to follow for myself, please don’t feel like I’m saying you have to treat these as hardset rules yourself!

Very basic lore shit for some of the fantrolls I just posted:
~ Burgundy
Pelone Messah: a young burgundy blood troll who enjoys handing out with her Indigo Morail. She’s known as the group party girl and is naturally charismatic but will sometimes come off as rude or apathetic.
Mariot Messah: a burgundy blood who has a deep fascination with the arts, specifically photography. She wants to be the first burgundy blood to traverse the entire empire before her life expires. She is kindhearted and cheery, though can be too excited and reckless.
The Canaress (Mariot): A determined journalist who will risk anything to get the news to the public, especially among the highblood quarrels.
The Sanguine (Pelone): An optimist who travels around to help those effected by the empire, especially after attacks.
~ Bronze
Bonahn Celste: An up-incoming bronze model, Bonahn wants to change the empire’s ways with representation of the lower classes. She is determined and empathetic, never letting her lower blood stop her. However she is overly emotional and is prone to mental breakdowns when picked on.
Zharan Celste: Zharan takes an interest in the stars and constellations. She is a reserved bronze blood who just wants to do her own thing. She’s thoughtful, honest, and intelligent, but hard to get along with as she has a tough exterior and often resorts to a physical form of arguments.
The Ascended (Zharan): A bronzeblood who raised from the depths of poverty despite her status. Holds considerable power but is generally detested due to what actions she had to commit in order to ascend.
The Poignant (Bonahn): An activist for low blood rights and generally seen as a caste therapist. Unfortunately seems to focus on the small things rather than the big picture.
~ Gold
Keelah Tembll: a witty and talented programmer, Keelah fits in perfectly to the gold caste. She puts a lot of time into the work she does but doesn’t forget to let herself enjoy life’s moments. She is a quick thinker, a great leader, and has a dry sense of humor. Often though, trolls are pushed away from her as she can be impatient and cruel.
Pitika Tembll: Pitika is a gold blood with considerable clout. She enjoys using social media and rides the low blood representation trend in each post. She is creative, independent, and inspirational, but tends to be conceded and uses her follower count to intimidate others.
The Eclectic / The Vehement (Pitika): A powerful spokesperson against the highblood tyranny. Known for using their psionics to deface public structures and commit arson against imperial buildings.
The Prioress (Keelah): a devout cult priestess who sing’s the highblood’s praises and treats the fuchsia caste like gods.
~ Lime
Mellon Usilue: A soft-spoken and sweet lime blood, Mellon is seen as the troll empire’s ultimate friend. She can manage to get along with most anyone and is always there to help anyone out, no matter the blood color. She is generous, sweet, and patient, though tends to let people walk over her or use her for their gain. She is also ashamed of her body and tends to get defensive if someone brings it up.
Pirchh Usilue: a headstrong and confident lime blood, Pirchh can be hard to get along with at first glance. She’s incredibly bold and doesn’t let others push her around, especially highbloods. Getting past her spiky exterior opens up to a troll who cares a lot about her safety and the safety of those who often get picked upon. She’s incredibly resilient and all about helping trolls better their lives through tough love.
The Tӎerarii (Pirchh): a lime blood who took the highblood upset into her own hands and aims to raise a rally of other trolls, using her calming abilities to manipulate other highbloods onto her side.
The Succorer (Mellon): an ambassador to the fuchsia empress who speaks fondly of the ruling caste, working to spread a positive image and damage control.
~ Olive
Rulani Pumale: this olive blood is the definition of reclusive. Rulani doesn’t like going out much and rather would stay inside all day in bed and on social media. She’s generally optimistic and loves talking to people who share her interests, though she can also be snide and a tad selfish.
Ozzidi Pumale: Ozzidi is an olive with an objective. She is seen as ‘quirky’ but also incredibly friendly to those she meets. She often gushes about her matesprite and will talk a troll’s ears off about them. Unfortunately though, she has a strong distaste for sea dwellers and will go around with her matesprite to harass high blooded sea-folk. She strangely has a fascination for origami though.
The Eleeinos (Ozzidi): One half of a pair of greenblooded killers who seek out sea dwellers to cull. Considered the less respected of the two due to her Olive caste and is constantly put down because of it.
The Duressor (Rulani): An olive blood who takes pride in collecting bounties on troll of all castes, no mater their personal views. She’s in it for the money and infamy.
~ Jade
Vennis Arvone: Vennis is a Jade blood that acts the part. She’s loving and helpful, enjoying acting like the mother of the group. She loves to clean and make things look fancy, taking a preference to interior design. Although she is a wonderful friend, she can be a bit judgmental of those she doesn’t know that well and tends to take them by appearance only.
Kimqey Arvone: Kimqey is an interesting Jade to be sure. She comes off as incredibly sweet and optimistic, but is able to casually talk about her disdain for all things sea dweller in the middle of her perky conversation. Kimqey and Ozzidi are matesprites that both play off one another’s hatred for the higher classes, though Kimqey seems to be worse then the olive blood. Fortunately though, her rage for sea dwellers tends to be calmed when she is with her matesprite and partaking in her favorite activity, which is applying makeup.
The §urmouna (Kimqey): The second half of the green blood killers. The higher respected half of the two and a rainbow drinker to boot. She is especially know for her viciousness.
The Aigrette (Vennis): A sort of doll for the image of the empire. Acts as a representative for what the citizens of the Empire should act like.
~ Teal
Pixuhn Aridel: Pixuhn is a laid back, down to earth teal that’s just here to have a good time. She has little to no grievances with anyone and enjoys simply being with her friends and partaking in fun activities with them, from watching movies to her favorite, card games. She isn’t the best troll to go to when you need to vent though, as she can come across as insensitive and apathetic to another’s troubles.
Motaro Aridel: Motaro is a teal that definitely could cut the coffee. She’s very hyper and loves to know what’s going on at every point of the day. She’s an open book with her feelings on subjects and will take any dare given to her. Her favorite activity would have to be baking, especially with fruits like peaches. She can be blunt though and unintentionally hurtful with her words, and tends to push the blame onto others instead of taking it on herself.
Jingoist Gleefoul (Motaro): a dedicated loyalist to the fuchsia crown and fights for their empress’s title. Doesn’t know of much which is going on but dedicated to the fuchsia caste nonetheless.
Gambless Malcheck (Pixuhn): a teal blood who enjoys putting the lives of others at stake in order to feed her destructive habits. Employed by mostly highbloods to ensure a caste lower than themselves will be punished severely for any sort of crime.
~ Cerulean
Qinnly Moboke: The cerulean blood Qinnly is quite literally as chill as you could possibly get. She’s open to most ideas and goes with the flow in almost all situations. She’s a good friend to go to for your troubles and loves trying to help her friends cope by distracting them with challenges that can often lead to death. Unfortunately she can be a bit nosy and unintentionally manipulative.
Czenik Moboke: Czenik is a cerulean blood that lives up to her caste. She is generally abrasive and foul, taking an interest in expanding her collection of caste blood related memorabilia. She takes full advantage of her class’s psychic abilities when expanding her collection. Fortunately, she can be pleasant and goes on surprisingly cheerful rants about her possessions. She values their rarity and difficulty in collecting, while also showing respect to fellow subculture connoisseurs.
Chancellor Coimetro (Czenik): A cerulean who works to subjugate the lower classes and keep them ignorant. Due to this she was promoted.
Tsaritsa Duplexda (Qinnly): A blue blood cerulean who seized parts of the empire and places herself on top of those stolen areas. Surprisingly good at avoiding culling.
~ Indigo
Balton Istahg: Balton is one of the sweetest Indigo bloods you’ll ever meet. She’s got a passion for the art of hair care and loves when her friends let her do their hair. She’s also interested in tattoos and and gives herself her own ink. She’s soft spoken and agreeable, though can be distant, anxiety prone, and uncomfortable around most people.
Iaasik Istahg: Iaasik is a quick and sassy indigo who knows what she’s good at. She’s heavily into the tech and hacking scene, enjoying the thrill that comes along with code breaking other’s security. Due to her interests though, she can be abrasive and often concerns herself with other’s private problems. She often doesn’t realize when she steps over the line and into someone’s private bubble. Fortunately, she’s a quick learner and is able to catalog other’s specific qualms once she’s told.
Harborer Vaedread (Iaasik): A indigo blood with access to what is happening among the highbloods. Unable to speak of the misdeeds to the public for fear of being culled by either the sea dwellers & clown, or the cerulean chancellor.
Brandern Mokoband (Balton): works as a trader of trolls. Got her title due to her infamously painful branding procedures when trading low blood slaves.
~ Purple
Piyntl Cumber: Piyntl takes the Purple blood clown aesthetic to heart and loves rocking it. She’s bubbly and excitable, often being the loudest of the group. She especially enjoys theater and teaching her friends how to do basic gymnastics. She can come off as overbearing though, and tends to have a negative emotional reaction to blunt but honestly comment’s about her behavior.
Ophiil Cumber: Ophiil is a purple blood hatched with a deformed face. She’s incredibly kind hearted though it’s hard to get bast her tough exterior she put’s up. She can come off as masochistic, and her Lusus only seems to encourage this behavior. She’s gotten used to playing the part as that’s what trolls expect of her due to her appearance and blood color, figuring it’s easier to participate in the role given to her rather than deviate from it.
The Heiress PhobepyꙞ (Ophiil): A purple blood who takes claim to the throne in stark competition to the other highbloods. Once worked with said highbloods to eliminate the fuchsia empress but could not agree to who would be the new empress.
The Funambulist Cuspidhg (Pintyl): a purple blood who opted to run away from the empire and achieve her dreams of simply thriving in life. Surprisingly pure hearted for a purple blood.
~ Violet
Luvici Vonmet: Luvici is a violet seadweller with a penchant for beauty. She’s absolutely obsessed with the fashion of the universe and finds it her purpose to introduce it to the empire. She loves seeing others participate in what most would consider unimportant but can easily get jealous by those she perceives as threats. She can be selfish and egotistical but can also be inspiring and creative.
Gurroe Vonmet: Gurroe is a quiet violet sea dweller who enjoys putting her mark on society. And by mark I mean she wants to paint it with blood to match her aesthetic. She loves all things gory and cute, not realizing that her actions hurt those around her. Even so, she’s incredibly artistic and and gives off the “cool quiet troll” vibe.
Grandeur Bowellox (Gurroe): One of the highbloods fighting for the throne. Was responsible for raising the Ascended into infamy and now hovers over the Ascended, making sure she stays in line and lays her debts.
The Cavalier Scalchic (Luvici): A violet blood who works with the Cerulean Tsaritsa and protects her from the rein of the current fuchsia empress. Acts like her knight or bodyguard in a sense.
~ Fuchsia
Opelic Uridae: Opelic is a fuchsia heir that is prepared to take back the throne for the fuchsia caste. She is determined and extremely talented in the topic of political debate. She’s a quick thinker and is incredibly confident, though she can come off as greedy, materialistic, and narcissistic due to her caste.
Hostia Uridae: Hostia is the sweetest of fuchsia bloods. She is very quiet and reserved, preferring to keep to herself rather than a group of friends. She extremely concerned about the environment around her and advocates for it’s preservation. She does tend to try and please everyone though, leading to multiple empty promises and generally has poor planning skills.
The Pusillan (Hostia): A fuchsia who was a victim of circumstance. Proved to be too weak-hearted to lead the empire so was culled by a group of three highbloods.
The Vainglor (Opelic): A powerful fuchsia empress who does not want anyone near her throne. Uses those below her to spread propaganda about the empire and actively tries to silence any rebellions or rivals.
~ Mutant
Marett Cyclik: a fun-loving and light-hearted mutant fuchsia who tries not to take her odd hue very seriously. In fact she tries to take everything as a joke, which causes others to perceive her as uncaring. She is quite giggly and is incredibly easy to make laugh. She can be easily distracted and is often incorrectly labeled as an airhead.
Harqui Cyclik: a mutant fuchsia with a twisted sense of humor and entitlement. She finds herself to be the proper heir to the throne though prevents herself from challenging it as she’s aware of the stigma around mutants. She’s rather self conscious but tends to lash out aggressively at anyone who may point this out.
The Rhadaman (Harqui): A mutant fuchsia with yet another claim to the throne. Pairs with The Heiress PhobepyꙞ to take down the grandeur but but now fights a risky battle with the purple blood heiress, leaving the empire in a shaky state with no real leader.
The Quipster Paltryin (Marett): An (unfortunately) outspoken mutant who works to poke fun at the empire. Produces works which directly go against the empire’s values and acts as an anonymous voice for the lower castes. Lives in clown exile with The Funambulist.

Good doctor,
This is the first of seven letters.
It has been my most fortunate calling in life to work as a physician. As the world crumbles to plague around us, and the swollen corpses of the dead leak their fluids onto the streets, I smell only cloying chamomiles, sweet and stale, stuffed in the muzzle of this mask. This horse's snout is no more a blessing than it is a curse. They recognize it, the sick, and flock to the familiarity of my equine figure with no respect for my time. I have heard many of their prayers in my travels, and my only comfort was knowing that I would someday answer them.
But I first had to sell my cure.
It took me many weeks to reach the city. From my own town to the next, I searched for a man rich enough to purchase the tonic I had labored over for so many months. In that time, countless died, but I knew when I saw the red steeples of the city that the plague would be stopped. It was a fine city carved from marble and white granite, and filled with the sick. Too many sick.
It did not take long for me to find the largest estate in the city. Its doors were thick, heavy wood and had to be opened for my arrival by two men. These were not the rich man’s servants, but his sons. He had no money left for the servants. He had sold them and all his fine furniture to fund research for the cure I now held. Though he promised me his home, his land, his eldest daughter’s hand, I refused. I could picture myself in that home, but this was a poor man with sick children in a sick city. He had no gold left for my cure. I cursed him and left. It was a fight to reach the city gates. Street merchants tried to sell me their wares, but I could see the lavender in their skin and knew better than to buy their plague.
A valley stood between me and my next destination. I entered it, traveling tirelessly on foot, knowing that if I stopped my body could be robbed of its priceless possessions. The shadows of the city stretched over me, lapping at my heels as the sun sank lower and lower behind it. I made camp for the night, thinking of nothing but a greater city ahead of me, one that would have taller citadels and richer men. In the morning I could still see the one I had left, its red roofs peaked and proud jutting over the lip of the valley. I journeyed some miles onwards, entertained only with my thoughts, and wound my way up and over a mountain. I enjoyed a leg of rabbit for dinner.
The meat was not rotten, but I tell you when I glanced back to the top of that cliff that dipped into the valley, I could still see the great spires of that city. The sheer impossibility of this drove me to my feet and back up the path, and as the sun turned the earth red and the sky indigo, I saw that cursed city, every damn building on it, floating over the valley like an island without water. It had risen and drifted from its home in the plains to cast a deep violet shadow over the bowl of the valley. As I watched, crouched low in the bushes and trembling in my thick, pale cloak, the sun sank lower until my eyes strained to make out the mammoth form looming in the air before me. Candlelight filled the distant windows until the city was dappled with yellow stars.
I did not rest that night. I lost sight of the place as I traveled onwards, taking no break for sleep or thought. My path took me into a dense wood and in a lilac mist of the morning and I collapsed into the softest patch of earth and slept.
It wasn’t the noontime sun that woke me, but a nightmare of a grave. I was lying in it, my bedmates plum colored corpses, and fistfuls of dirt were being tossed over me. I awoke gasping, suffocated in my muzzle of herbs, but as I clawed to free myself of the mask I felt the ticklish stream of silt on my neck. I tilted back my head to see the massive underbelly of dirt raining debris over the forest canopy. In my hours of slumber the city had crept up on me, following my trail like a starving dog, and suspended over me its hundreds of homes and hundreds people, and as I laid there shuddering in wordless horror at the roots and fossils clinging to raw bedrock, it lowered ever closer, engulfing the woods in a cold, hushed shadow.
I ripped myself from my bed and flew without notice or care for the path I had taken. The snap of twigs turned to an aching groan as trunks bent beneath the weight of the sinking city. Living wood broke before my path, their tender green flesh splitting open as they collapsed to the weight of mortar, brick, and stone. I tore the horse mask from my head and sucked in the damp, earthy musk of my doom above me. I ducked as gravel met my scalp, charging towards where just paces ahead of me shadow split the earth with light. Rock forced me to bend, then fall to my knees and crawl- it hit my shoulders, and this weight had not been felt by Atlas, bearing the world on his shoulders, nor Krishna balancing a mountain on his pinky, it was bone breaking, airless, wet--
I rolled free, and the earth trembled as the city settled down into it. The thick walls were cracked, the packed dirt crumbling onto mossy forest floor, but the entire city stood, its buildings flat faced and calm, bronze towers distantly tolling the hour of noon. Shaking, I pushed myself onto my feet and placed a tender foot to the cobblestone. Guards on either side of the gate closed off its entrance to me. With my pale robes soiled, and the horse mask crushed beneath their own city, they did not recognize me as a doctor promising the cure. The cure! I reached inside my cloak and drew it out, showed them its secretive contents, and asked them to take me to the nearest physician. The sick trailed after us, shy as moths in the daytime as though they didn’t dare believe the purpose of my arrival. I smiled at them as we waited for the physician's answer and breathed in the stench of their illness. It was as thick and sweet as overripe summer berries, fermenting in the heat of the sun.
This is the first of seven letters I have been instructed by the physician to draft. I’ve enclosed within the precise instructions for the concoction and administration of the cure. May it find your city well.
Respectfully,
Doctor Henry Drosselmeyer

hi there! can i get an analysis of a 12 troll session? (there are repeats, i know- it’s my friend group’s trollsonas so there were bound to be some.) for derse, we got an indigo mage of space, a blue thief of time, a jade seer of hope, a bronze prince of blood, a gold prince of life, and a teal witch of mind. for prospit, we got a rust prince of heart, an olive maid of rage, a fuchsia sylph of void, a violet heir of heart, a purple rogue of breath, and a lime mage of void. (it’s an au) tysm!! :0
You got it!
Time and Space are here and accounted for! Let’s begin!
Mage of Space: Space will permeate your session, even after it is over. Creation, and possibly isolation will be a constant theme in this session. Even afterward your players might feel slightly separated from one another, unless they do something about it themselves. At that point you’re more likely to take the benefits of Space’s creation aspect.
Thief of Time: Your session will have Time taken from it. Seeing as Space will be something that is the lifeblood of this session, you’d better get used to it. Not only will you be Space-themed, but at a certain point you’ll lack Time. This can take the form of something that solved your problems previously now IS a problem. Think of Becquerel. Having a space-dog is great, but then it became a serious problem when he was prototyped.
Seer of Hope: Your players will try to win through Hope. Hope is the aspect of positive emotions, yes. But it’s also the aspect of delusion and unwavering devotion. Your players may try to be TOO hopeful just to counterract what horrible things happen. Pushing down feelings and bottling conversations for the sake of taking care of the physical game issues first. It’s likely they think that if they win they’ll just have the time to talk all their things out, but they can do both at the same time. In fact, its likely they HAVE to.
Prince of Blood: Your session has too much Blood. Links with the Mage of Space and it’s hint at a theme of isolation. The Prince of Blood will break these bonds and possibly isolate the people around them, dispersing them almost. However as usual this may be a necessary evil for the Prince. If people are split up, they are more likely to be disillusioned to their Hopeful ways and, after a while, they can come together and use Hope the right way.
Prince of Life: Your session has too much Life. I personally can see this fitting the Seer of Hope as well. Life IS about healing and betterment, but Life players have a habit of enduring intense emotions for the “greater good” until they explode at the person they’re angry at. Your session has too many people holding things in and not enough Doom, which, while it embodies suffering, also embodies empathy. Without revealing what’s bugging you, you and your group will lack solid empathy with one another.
Witch of Mind: Your players want to win Mind. Again, I can easily link this to the Mage of Space and Seer of Hope. They players WANT to work as a team. They don’t want to be isolated from one another and want to be able to link their minds together and work as a collective.
Prince of Heart: Your session has too much Heart. Too many people being “unique” and doing their own thing, which normally is good. However this is leading to everyone being de-synced. As said previously they want Mind, working as a solid group. Because of this the Prince is more likely to be seen in a positive light, since they are working directly towards what the group wants.
Maid of Rage: Your session will be negatively affected by an outside force of Rage. This seems rather simple, actually. Something so confusing and irritating (something like a glitch maybe? sburb is a game after all) will affect your session, and likely piss everyone off.
Sylph of Void: Your session will be positively affected by mystery! Seeing as Void players have some kind of default monitor-breaker whenever they’re present, the Sylph of Void might be this positive force themselves. Whatever’s watching and manipulating your session (which there almost always is) won’t be able to decipher this session to the fullest. Lucky you!
Heir of Heart: Your session is ultimately about Heart. Individuality and identity. Seeing as your players are isolated and want to be working together, this makes sense. Your players are really trying to figure out who they are and how they work together as people, and yeah this is typical for Homestuck already, but this session makes it take center stage.
Rogue of Heart: Your greatest asset will be Heart. While your players are quite isolated, they really are able to hold their own when they do their own thing. When they enter their Land, it’s likely they’ll dominate it much like the trolls did in their session.
Rogue of Breath: Your session’s greatest asset will also be Breath! The freedom and impact of your players will also give you the edge that you need to win, or at least not fall off the deep end. Given that individuality vs. unity is a big theme in this session, freedom within that unity will be the best part of coming together. You keep the positive aspects of Heart, being free individuals but still working together.
Mage of Void: Your session will also be themed with mystery/nothing. Your Mage of Space contradicts this a bit, as Space is about creation and Void is about nothing. These two players are likely to clash in their information, and just clash in general. Session wise you might be stuck between constant mystery and constant isolation, at least until you get the full picture.
Warnings: You have a LOT of Princes. Like I said for the Prince of Heart, they may be less “destructive” as they are working towards the goal of the players anyways. Your Maid of Rage might be a very destructive force if not cared for properly, especially with Rage’s propensity for breaking every rule imaginable. The Thief of Time is also someone to watch over, lest they treat time as their own tool for their own means.
Goodies: You have two Rogues, who are very good supports! The Heir of Heart also sounds like a very good and supportive resource, and it’s likely that they will be offering the most relationship advice for the group. The mages, while clashing, still will offer useful information for their respective topics. Not to mention that the Mage of Space should have the knowledge to successfully breed a good Genesis frog.
Another solid session! The Thief of Time might... be iffy about initiating a scratch, but it also sounds like the group might achieve victory right from the get go, despite interruptions. But the Mage of Void kinda foreshadows something unknowable coming your way... so keep an eye out.

Riverbound, Chapter 18
Pancakes turn out to be a great idea, because you haven’t had breakfast yet and you get more time to think about what you’re going to say when you’re chewing on a mouthful of delicious sweetened bread, berries, and syrup.
“I can’t believe you’re alive,” Ardata says for the umpeenth time. You had let her rant for the past ten minutes about how sad she’d been after you disappeared, about her GrubTube career going down the drain after she’d been hacked, and then eventually making friends with Elwurd and Remele because, in her words, “They were the only trolls interesting enough to make me want to go out and Do Things.”
Elwurd snorts. “Only after countless wipes of bitching and moaning, but okay.”
“I had to unlearn everything I was raised to believe-!”
“Yeah, yeah, we know.” She looks back to you and grins. “We’re just happy you’re okay. Where the hell did you even go, dude?”
“Well… I was kidnapped, there were some interesting shenanigans involving space and time, made some new friends, yelled at a couple of assholes, and then I found my way back here,” you summarize. If you had a nickel for every time you’ve explained what happened to you, you’d have enough money to buy an actual hive to live in.
“Good gog,” Remele mutters, sipping on her coffee. “That sounds… rather stressful.”
“It was, believe me.”
Next to you, Polypa clears her throat, not meeting the eyes of the ceruleans. You don’t blame her; she’s a lowblood and all three of the other girls are intimidating, especially Elwurd. “So, you three are part of that… group?”
Ardata purses her lips, but it’s Remele who answers. “It’s… a wee bit complicated. We know Dammek and Xefros, of course, but we’re more focused on taking out direct threats to the rebellion instead of social justice.”
“We’re a highblood ally group, basically,” Elwurd clarifies.
You blink. “Dammek and Xefros?”
“The bronze and the rust up on that overturned scuttlebuggy. They’re in charge of the whole thing. They’re pretty cool.”
Remele nods. “Xefros is the one who found the other rebellion faction and located you.”
“Dude must have had a hell of a night finding an alien,” Polypa mutters, amused.
The ceruleans fall strangely silent. Elwurd sucks her teeth and looks over at Remele, who looks at Ardata, who makes a face at her and stares down at her waffles. You instantly know that something big happened, something that they’re hesitant to tell you.
“So, about that,” Elwurd says.
“What?”
Remele hums nervously, tapping a claw against the plastic of the table you’re all sitting around.
“What?” you demand.
“Look. This is going to sound a little insane, but…”
“A human child came to Alternia while you were away,” Elwurd finished.
“... WHAT?!”
<>
Your name is ELWURD, and you are running away from a pissed-off indigo chick who just wanted to enjoy her pancakes. This is disappointing, because she’s pretty hot and you haven’t had a date in like, two perigees, but maybe you’ll catch her later at the party you’ll be throwing next wipe and apologise.
“Why don’t we just fight her? There’s five of us against one!” Remele complains as she vaults over a fence with you hard on her heels.
“I’m not fighting that bitch, she’s huge!” Ardata yells from up ahead.
“Second that!” the alien calls from somewhere behind you. They’re surprisingly speedy for a little guy, but they do have great legs. Not that you’ve been looking.
Polypa speeds past you in a black-and-olive blur and flings herself up the wall of the abandoned drill factory you’re all heading towards. “Rule number one of fighting indigos: try not to.”
Ardata zooms up after her, yelping as the tip of her boot gets caught on a stray shingle as she vaults herself up onto the roof. She’s come a long way from being some spoiled GrubTube celebrity, you’ll give her that, but her parkour skills still need a lot of work.
You and Remele bring up the rear, and before you can turn around to help the alien up a little zapping sound like a plasma ball being bounced around sounds from just behind you. You turn in surprise to see the alien standing on the roof with you guys, hands on their knees and out of breath. They give you a thumbs-up.
“Did you just…” you begin, unsure if the stuff you snorted off your own kneecap last morning wore off completely, but from the looks Remele and Ardata are giving your mutual friend you think you aren’t high anymore.
Polypa sighs. “Yes, my moirail can teleport. No, I really don’t know why.”
“HEY!”
You lean over to peer down at the indigo chick. “Yo!”
“You load of bitches better learn to treat your superiors with respect! You’re lucky I don’t feel like climbing this shitpile!” she spits.
“Right, totally because you’re not out of breath,” you call back. “Man, you indigos are all the same. All muscle, no stamina.”
“Or pancells,” Ardata sneers.
“Or decency,” Remele finishes.
She snarls loud enough for it to echo off the walls before storming off back the way she came. Polypa gives her the finger, smirking proudly as she watches the indigo stomp off into the night. You can see why the alien chose her to be their moirail.
“So.”
You turn back to see the alien tapping their foot impatiently. “The tea. Please.”
“Well… weird portal thingie brought over this girl from Earth named Joey. Weird portal thingie also sent over Dammek to Earth. Shenanigans ensued. Drama happened. I fistfought a violetblood in the parking lot at GrubMart. Somehow, we managed to get everybody back where they belong, and nobody even died. Yay.”
You hope Joey and Jude are doing alright-- they were great kids, even if being around them was a little painful. Both of them reminded you so much of your long-lost friend. Maybe it was a human thing to be overly nice, super goofy, and a total crackhead all at the same time.
The alien’s hazel eyes are focused on something past you. Their lips are moving but no sound is coming out. They begin to shake.
Polypa calls their name, darting forward to grab her moirail’s shoulders. They look like they don’t even see her.
“Hey, are they…” You don’t finish your sentence, because hello, your friend is obviously having a panic attack.
“It’s him. It’s him. It’s gotta be, Polypa, he’s still…” they gasp, the rest of the color draining from their already pale face. “He’s still here, he’s gonna come for me--”
“No no, it’s okay, you’re okay,” she whispers frantically, trying to shooshpap them even though they’re human and that sort of thing doesn’t work on humans. “Listen-no, look at me. You’re safe. You’re safe--”
Ardata jumps back as their eyes flash bright green, like neon searchlights in the dark. They don’t look like themselves anymore.
They look like--
“What’s happening?” Remele asks worriedly. You wave her away, following the little voice in your head that’s urging you to stay back.
Something feels terribly wrong.
<>
You are THE GUARDIAN. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian. You are the Guardian.
And the universe is splitting apart.
Of course it’s not in the sense that corporeal beings like yourself would be able to see, but because you’re a god you can feel it. You can feel it in every atom. It’s in every proton and neutron in your physical form, wiring into you, deeper and deeper until you can’t feel anything but the shriek of reality being torn apart like a wet napkin. The pain hits you soon after.
Your legs give out and you fall.
You grab for the tear, try and smooth it back together, stop the bleeding. You’re bleeding. Why won’t it stop--
Somewhere far away, you can hear Polypa calling for you, but no matter how hard you try you can’t answer her. Come back. Please come back.
Please
I
    can’t
The last shreds of your vision that aren’t dominated by black spots vanish at last, and you gratefully fall into the darkness.
You’re not sure when, but eventually there is a light shining from deep within the void. You twist around to stare at it mid-fall.
You blink, stunned, and then you’re standing in a school cafeteria. Sunlight streams in through the big glass windows-- Earth sunlight. It warms you from the outside in, like you’re being thawed emotionally as well as physically. The lunch tables are all folded neatly against the opposite wall. In the air is the familiar smell of linoleum and french fries; it must have been burger day. God, you miss burger day.
There’s no soreness from tumbling across the pavement earlier when you knocked Ardata out of the way of that drone. No scabs are visible on your knuckles. Every breath you take is like inhaling pure oxygen, even with nothing around to produce it. For the first time in what feels like years, you are in absolutely no pain whatsoever.
Soft footsteps behind you alert you to the presence of another. You turn, bracing yourself for anything, for him, but…
“I knew you could do it.”
She grins at you with eyes that sparkle like stars, pride radiating from every fiber of her being. Her dress is free from dirt and looks as new as the day it was made. The sunlight catches in her jet black hair and makes the white of her dress glow gold.
“Boldir,” you choke, a hard lump forming in your throat even as you run for her and throw yourself into her strong arms.
Boldir catches you without hesitation and holds you tightly, gently rocking you back and forth. You’re crying but you can’t bring yourself to feel embarrassed and it’s amazing.
You laugh wetly, wiping at your eyes. “How-- what? How are you here? Why are you here? What even is this place?”
“Good questions!” She looks very proud of herself. “Reaching you took a lot of work, but I found out that the easiest way was to create a space where you could astral project into. A place buried so deeply into your subconscious even he couldn’t make you forget about it.”
You look around, knowing who Boldier is talking about but still baffled as to why you’re in a school cafeteria. “This… this is a school.”
“Yep! Does anything look familiar?”
It hits you like a punch to the gut the second she says it. With a gasp, you whirl around, taking everything in as a memory resurfaces from the sea of the life you once led.
About ten feet away, a fuzzy image forms out of thin air. A bunch of teenagers are sitting around one of the lunch tables, yelling and laughing, doing homework, eating, showing each other stuff on their phones. They become more solid the longer you look at them, like you’re trying to focus on them through a microscope.
Sitting between a dude with a varsity jacket and a pretty brunette girl is a small blonde kid, easily the shortest person at the table, their hair down past their shoulders. They’re reading something off the brunette’s phone and almost spit out their chocolate milk when they start giggling.
It was the last day of your sophomore year, you remember. You were going to hang out with your friends after school. You can’t recall exactly what you guys did, but it’s so far away in your memory you can’t even begin to think about what it might have been. The little blonde kid looks so happy, their only worry being what colleges they should apply for next fall.
You don’t even know you’re crying until Boldier wipes the tears from your face with a soft, sympathetic noise.
“This is my high school. Those were my friends. I… I grew up here, Boldir,” you whisper.
“And that’s why this universe split apart from the others, Guardian. You’re finally remembering who you are and where you came from! What else can you recall?” she demands, cupping your face between her strong hands.
“I… the other night I remembered my grandma, and my uncle, because she died of a heart attack and… and oh my God. Oh, fuck. I remembered my mom,” you sob.
“Good! Yes! What does she look like?”
Your head is beginning to pound. Are you dehydrated or something? “She’s… taller than me. She loved me, right?”
Boldier giggles. “Everybody’s taller than you.”
“But she loved me?”
“She did. She does.”
The sunlight coming in through the window seems to be getting brighter and brighter. “Boldir, what’s happening? Where are you?”
“I can’t come to you right now. I have to keep him away from you as long as I can,” she explains swiftly. “He’s losing patience.”
“Scratch?”
Ice water shoots up your spine when she nods, a low growl building up in her chest. “Listen to me. You have to remember who you are! That’s how you can break free of Scratch’s control. When he finds you, you can’t listen to anything he tells you. You are the First Guardian. You control your own destiny. I know you can save Alternia, Micah!”
A loud splintering sound makes you whip around to see the linoleum crack open, revealing shards of light that pierce the air like knives. The sunlight is nearly blinding you now. Your headache goes from mildly painful to a full-blown migraine in the course of a couple seconds. Boldir hisses in fury and throws you behind her as the ground where you just stood gives way into white nothingness, the color of bone after it’s been out in the Alternian sun for a day. The low, dull roar of the heart of a star follows after, so loud to your aching head that you almost collapse on the spot.
“But where are you?” you cry again. “I’ll come get you! Are you in danger?”
She just pats your shoulder, looking back at you with big sad eyes. “You might be the most powerful being in this reality, but there isn’t anything you can do for me anymore. I’m sorry. What I want you to do is succeed and be happy.”
“But-!”
“Just keep remembering, okay?” she pleads, and then she’s gone, and once again you’re tumbling down through emptiness.
Remember.
:::
Your name is MICAH. It’s not the name you were given at birth, but it’s a name you chose for yourself when you changed your hair, your pronouns, the way you dressed in a life not so far away from where you are now. Your name is Micah. Micah… something.
What the hell is your last name?
Why are you trying to remember that…?
Boldir. Remember Boldir.
Her words come back to you about you not being able to do anything for her anymore. They ricochet around the inside of your brain, becoming more and more agonizing to think about until you’re wailing into the nothingness of your subconscious. Your heart is breaking into a million pieces just like that damn cafeteria floor.
Because you know that Boldir Lamati is dead.
And you never even got to say goodbye.
In a moment of time that might have been five minutes or five years, you begin to feel your body again-- all four-feet-eleven-inches of you, even though you really do not want to go back to the land of the living. Living sucks ass.
Somebody is running their hand through your hair, gentle and smooth. You want to just lay there forever, letting whoever this is hold you, but then you hear somebody speak nearby and your eyes open all on their own.
“They’re coming to!”
You meet the concerned gaze of Lynera, who’s wringing her hands fretfully as she stares down at you. A familiar ceiling spotted with bioluminescent fungi hangs low above your head, and there’s a jade green blanket tossed over your torso.
“Well, this certainly rings a few bells,” you mumble to yourself. You look up and realize you’re in Polypa’s lap. She’s not normally one for pale PDA, so the fact that she's holding you so close with somebody else around is a little strange. Her long hair is tickling your face, making you sneeze and scrub at your nose.
“How are you feeling?” she whispers.
“Awful.”
“How so?”
“One of my friends is dead.”
“How do you--”
“I had a dream where she came to me. She’s done it before. Polypa, sometimes I… I have dreams that tell me about the future. And the past. And the present.”
She exhales, quietly stunned. “I’m sorry, Micah.”
You nod, doing your best to fight back tears and failing. Even the sound of your own name isn’t helping you feel better.
Footsteps approach, slow and careful, and you look over to see Lynera crouch down next to you. “We think you had some kind of seizure? Your moirail said that you started talking really strangely, and then you collapsed and started to spasm. Then she brought you to the caverns. You were out all day.”
“Yeah, that sounds like a seizure.” So, you have seizures now. Fantastic.
“There isn’t a whole lot of information on these kinds of things, but I’ll keep looking around to see if anybody has information on mental disorders-- not that I think you’re mental! I just want to make sure you don’t collapse out in public, because if the wrong troll sees you do that you’ll get culled and it’ll be horrible and we can’t lose you again! So you should probably take it easy for the rest of the night. I’ll tell Bronya to… um, where are you going?”
You stagger as you put all of your body weight on to your feet. Your head is spinning, but you don’t give up.
“I have to go commit a murder.”

Headcanons
The structure of this page and most of the headcanons were taken from @etchtrolls with their permission. Some have been modified to fit my own personal headcanons, but I give all the credit to most of everything here to etchtrolls.

Headcanons under the cut because it’s very long. Trigger warning may apply for canon violence, slavery mentions, and all nitty-gritty things those criminal murdertrolls are known to do.
Biology
Caste System
Burgundy bloods: Averaged 40 sweeps (85 years)
Bronze bloods: Averaged 45 sweeps (98 years)
Gold bloods: Averaged 55 sweeps (119 years)
Lime bloods: Averaged 105 sweeps (228 years)
Olive bloods: Averaged 175 sweeps (380 years)
Jade bloods/rainbow: 300 sweeps (560 years or infinite)
Teal bloods: Averaged 450 sweeps (975 years)
Cerulean bloods: Averaged 600 sweeps (1,300 years)
Indigo bloods: Averaged 1,000 sweeps (2,165 years)
Purple bloods: Averaged 3,000 sweeps (6,500 years)
Violet bloods: Averaged 5,000 sweeps (10,833 years)
Fuschia bloods: None have died of time, only killed. The oldest lived over 10,000 sweeps and was still kicking when she was finally killed.
The higher a troll is up on the spectrum, the colder their body temperature is. While one normally can’t tell one’s exact blood color by body temperature, it gives one a general idea. Mutants' blood colors depend on the caste they’re mutated from. For example, a candy red troll would be even warmer than a redblood, while a lime would be somewhere between yellow and olive. Other non-canon colors work as well. For example, a bright fuchsia would be a tyrian mutant, and their blood color would probably be the coldest in all the hemospectrum, etc.
There is no instant assumption that hemoanons are mutants. Trolls are very careful about picking fights with hemoanons because there is no telling what sort of strength the anon wields. There is, of course, the assumption and stigma from the opposite ends of the spectrum that anons are either highbloods that are trying to infiltrate lowblood spaces or lowbloods trying to get more power than is legally allowed.
Ancestors and Descendants
Most descendants will never meet their ancestors and another great portion of them will not even know about their names. When it comes to lowbloods, I’d say that most of them will know jack shit about their ancestors because their ancestors probably died young doing nothing. Not everyone has The Summoner as an ancestor so unless their ancestor did something worth nothing down a book, they probably won’t ever know their names or titles. Another thing is, most highblooded ancestors can cross several timelines so it’s not a stretch to think some of them would meet their descendants.
Body Science
Pupation/Molting
Wrigglers (troll babies) pupate at 1-3 sweeps dependant upon the caste. Lowerbloods tend to pupate faster than higherbloods since their lifespan is shorter; everything happens faster for them. During pupation, they form a cocoon-like structure around their bodies, not unlike a pupating caterpillar. Wrigglers usually choose quiet and hidden places to do this in the caverns. The pupation usually takes 1-2 weeks long to go through, again, depending on the caste, and the wriggler emerges from its casing as a toddler. Adult molts take place usually around 10 sweeps and a troll almost has to use their skin for this. During molts, trolls grow at an extremely rapid rate, actually literally splitting their skin. Molting also takes about a week or two long and trolls emerge from it usually a foot to several feet taller than before. Trolls continue to grow after molting, and their eyes fill more rapidly with color. It is during molting that nipples appear and grubscars disappear, usually. Some trolls sometimes keep their grubscars and some never grow nipples.
Skin
Trolls skin is generally way thicker than humans, however, it can still bruise easily considering the strength of these aliens. Seadwellers’ skin is less rugged than lowbloods, it is, in fact, smoother and gives an almost perfect wet silk vibe. It’s soft and cold and almost always humid to the touch. They need their skin to create that extra watery sheen so their gills and fins don’t get dehydrated. They’re not «wet» per se, but touching a seadweller’s skin is like touching a moist, cold hand lmao.
Horns
Contrary to their name, horns are not part of troll’s skeletal system. They are more similar to antlers in that they are made of keratin and that they shed, albeit not completely. Horns only shed off old layers. They continue to grow as the troll does and, without proper care, can break, chip, and fracture. It’s also possible to use castes to try and make horns grow a certain way, but this is an unreliable method and known to cause more harm than good. Another way to decorate horns is to engrave carvings into the surface, which is much safer and more common. There are nerve endings in the keratin of horns and are most concentrated in the roots, in the red portion. For that reason, horns are not inherently an erogenous zone. While they may be sensitive around the base and a troll could get aroused by being rubbed the right way around the horns, those are not like sex organs. A troll won’t become a putty mess if their horns get messed with. In fact, it’s more of a pale thing, to pacify trolls. A massage around the horns wouldn’t give a troll a boner, it would just be something as pleasant as getting your hair played with or getting a shoulder massage. Depending on who’s touching, yeah, it can be arousing, but it’s not something my trolls would have their nook dripping for.
Horn Culture
Grub Scars
After putation, small vestigial grub legs are left behind, clinging to a troll’s midsection just below the ribcage. In time, they fall off, like an umbilical cord, and leave behind a hard section of scar tissue that’s tinted a darker shade of gray that troll skin. These are grub scars. These grub scars sometimes entirely disappear after the adult molting, as mentioned before.
Breasts
Rumble spheres are stored up nutrition and fat packs in troll’s chests, and thus are not solely for one gender. However, since ‘females’ are often the more aggressive type and spend more time fighting, they are prone to having larger fat reserves to protect themselves.
Misc
Ears are versatile, capable of moving to show emotion. This applies to fins too.
Some trolls possess a small carapace of sorts; a few plates of exoskeleton on their back that’s left over from the armored plating they had as a grub. Most of them lose it during the adult molting though, as their body has grown strong enough to not need these anymore.
Trolls are generally taller the higher they are up the spectrum, but this is a large generalization more of a rule. They are, however, much larger than humans are often 7-10 ft in height. There can be very short lowbloods and very tall lowbloods; it all depends on whose genetic slurry was more potent in the bucket that created them. If one half of their slurry was from a highblood, and the other from a lowblood, chances are that if they end up a lowblood, they’ll be tall. For that reason, short highbloods are rarer than tall lowbloods, as there are far taller highbloods than shorter ones.
Trolls are capable of a wide variety of sounds, including but not limited to: growling, hissing, warbling, chirping, and purring.
Fingernails grow into natural points, forming claws, and are much thicker and more durable than human fingernails. Some trolls may have retractable claws, though.
Many purple bloods have vestigial gill flaps and fin tines on their ears as a leftover evolutionary trait due to being the line between land dwellers and sea dwellers
Many sea dwellers have bioluminescent freckles scattered across their body.
Sea dwellers most commonly have gills on the sides of their neck, but some have them on their ribcage as well. They also have webbing stretched between the second knuckles on their hands and are more sensitive to light than land dwellers.
Troll hair is also exceptionally coarser and denser than human hair
Third eyelids for seadwellers, so they can keep their eyes open underwater and keep them protected.
Troll eyes reflect light, much like cats.
Trolls have much stronger senses than humans do.
The nature of the slurry helps to determine what kind of blood the wrigglers will have. For example, if a slurry comes from a matespritship, and one of the quadrants is a lowblood, chances are the hatchling will be a lowblood. Matespritship slurry is generally weaker in pheromones than caliginous and caliginous tends to produce stronger offsprings, thus more highbloods. This is why most highbloods have aggression in their system as they are hatched; aggression, in trolls case, is not taught but innate.
Social
Quadrants
Kismesis
Scars are very attractive in kismesitudes because it shows that your pitchmate can take a lot of damage physically and you don’t have to be too careful.
Moirail
While it is possible and socially acceptable to move in with any quadrant, trolls most commonly move in with their moirails.
There are different levels of attraction in the pale quadrant. While soft trolls with lots of fat and curves are definitely appealing and say that someone gives good hugs and can comfortably hold their palemate, someone scrawny and thin is also appealing because they need to be taken care of.
While in most moirallegiances there is no clear line between the pacifier and the pacified, the media likes to convey the roles as strictly belonging to lowbloods and highbloods respectively.
Wrist-kissing is an extremely common gesture of intimacy between moirails.
Rail with pails is taboo, but not unheard of. While it’s not openly discussed, trolls without concupiscent quadrants will often pail with their rail when it’s collection time.
Often trolls in red and black quadrants will stay together even after losing interest in each other just for the safety of being able to still fill and submit a bucket to the drones.
It’s very common to wear the color of your quadrant mate as well as your own color. Some lowbloods take advantage of this and wear colors higher up on the spectrum to keep away unwanted advances.
Different quadrant inclinations trigger different pheromones in a troll, which is how collector drones tell filled pails apart and are able to sort them by quadrant, thus ensuring that every troll required to submit a pail does so within each necessary quad.
Slavery
Slaves are almost always lowbloods- olive and below is a free-for-all.
Slave owners are held entirely accountable for the actions of their slaves; it is thought that the attitude and actions of the slave reflect that of their owner. Therefore, if a slave is particularly rebellious to the caste system, especially in public, there is often an investigation into the owner.
Pre-purchased bloodlines
Highblood slaves do exist, but they are very rare and are only made slaves by punishment for an extreme crime. It’s one of the most severe of humiliations.
Psions are generally used to power factories and ships. Less commonly, psions who are owned by kinder trolls are used for small tasks such as fetching and carrying.
There is nothing stopping a slave owner from doing whatever they want to their slave. There is no law protecting a slave, so owners are allowed to treat their property how they wish and give whatever punishments they desire. There are, however, social pressures and stigma in place.
PEN Collars
Everyday Castism
Train stations
Low bloods are at a higher risk of being culled for minor and insignificant issues due to the expendability of their caste. There is typically little to no consequence for anyone killing a lowblood for no reason.
Psions, while often being sought after by the military and slave owners for their abilities, are also at a higher risk for being culled due to simultaneously being seen as threats
Money Earning
Cues
Trolls tip their heads down in a show of aggression, showing their horns. They tip their heads up to show submission, baring their throat.
Staring openly at a troll is a hostile sign.
While maintaining eye contact can also be taken as a hostile sign, having no eye contact and constantly looking away paints a troll to be a coward.
Adults have the right of way over children. Young trolls remain standing until an adult sits, or gives up their space if an adult enters a full room. The older a troll is, the more respect they’re given.
Trolls are burned after death to keep them from returning as daywalkers.
Seadweller lingo
Languages
Military
Rank System
Every troll in the Imperial Fleet has an officer to report to. Lowbloods(burgundy-yellow) all report to a midblood (green-teal) and all midbloods report to higher-ups (highly stationed blues or purples) and all of them report directly to the Empress. The officers of each faction of soldiers is expected to pass orders from the higher ranks down to their factions and to maintain complete control of their faction.
Ex: A blue blood has a commanding officer that is purple that she has to report to. She must follow her commander’s orders and pass them into her own faction, which is made up of olives and teals. A few of the trolls in her faction have factions of their own, consisting of yellows and bronzes. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Seadweller officials can choose whoever they want to be on their team, no matter the blood color.
Violets are almost mostly used for the navy since they’re usually the only ones that have swimming skills of any kind. However, a good portion of them makes it to the stars since most purplebloods are uninterested in the fleet. Purples tend to remain on Alternia due to their religious views. Some of them to make it to the stars, but mostly with the goal in mind to spread the faith to the defeated nations. As for the navy, crew members of the navy are not required to be violet, however, and are certainly not all violet. Land dwellers on the ships are generally much more expendable than the violets, though. And, of course, there are the psions that power the ships. Generally speaking, violets do not have their cluster of lowbloods to tend to and order around, just their crew and ship.
Psions
Psions of the strong, electric variety are almost exclusively used as batteries to ships in the military, or as living canons of energy. Often they are not counted as actual trolls or as part of a crew, so they don’t get tags or a uniform unless their captain requests it specifically.
Psions that possess other abilities (telekinesis, pyrokinesis, etc.) are allowed to be within their own squadron as long as they’ve proven themselves to be obedient and non-volatile. They are still closely monitored by their officer to make sure it stays they way, and they’re expected to use their abilities whenever ordered to, never for their own use.
Misc
Trolls can be drafted into the military as early as 7 sweeps, especially highbloods due to their strength. They train them young to become tough fleet admirals. However, this is extremely rare and is only the absolute earliest that one can be drafted. Usually, only particularly powerful psions and highbloods are drafted at this age. Most other trolls are drafted between 10 and 12 sweeps. Some trolls are also lost in the system and never gets drafted, lucky!
Trolls in the military are given dog tags stamped with their symbol, blood caste, and name on one side. On the other side, the troll’s quads are stamped.
Purple bloods are generally pretty rare in the military. They work best with trolls of their own caste and are often not included in the faction and rank system, instead of being one massive unit. Sometimes they have factions of their own, but they answer directly to the Grand Highblood of the time, who is on the planet at all time unless the Empress requested him to be in space.
Lower bloods (rust-olive) are either used for unimportant jobs (paperwork, serving as a living training dummy, a higher rank troll’s personal assistant, etc.) or as pawns. Though rarer, they can also be used for spy work since there’s the stigma of lowbloods being inconspicuous and helpless. In times of war, lowbloods are meatshields.
Medics are generally teal-blue bloods with lower blooded assistants. Due to the stigma of lowbloods always being the pacifiers and being too soft and helpless to be a real threat, the assistants are mostly just kept around to calm the patient down instead of doing actual work.
Uniforms are provided to every troll that is properly drafted (i.e. not a slave that was dragged along) and are mostly identical with small, subtle differences to show caste. The uniforms are, of course, better made and better fitted the higher you go up the spectrum. Teal bloods and up get to wear their own sign and color, but must also wear the color of their commanding officers. Trolls below teal are also allowed to wear their color as an identification but not their sign and are also required to wear the color of their officers as well as the fleet’s symbol.

Lime Bloods
While most limes were culled centuries back, a few managed to slip through the cracks and hide in society under the guise of being anon or posing as either olive or jade. Furthermore, because of the Mother Grub’s ability to store genetic material for long periods of time, she still sometimes gives birth to lime eggs. Of course, most of these are disposed of by the jadebloods.
Lusii
Low blooded lusii are more commonly smaller and weaker beasts, while high blooded lusii are generally larger and predators. With this being so, low blooded lusii more often die while taking care of their charge. They are also more susceptible to staying with their charge their entire lives instead of moving on once the troll is an adult and adopting a new charge like high blooded lusii do. Lowblood lusii are also a prized catch for alternian hunters, especially if they’re larger. For example, a large bovine lusii that protects a lowblood would sell a lot more than let’s say, Tinkerbull on the market. Since large lusii for lowbloods are rare, they’re a convenient catch and are worth their caegars. Lowbloods with large lusii tend to live in secluded areas such as the forest or near caverns to keep their lusus protected.
Sea dweller lusii often mistake purple wrigglers as violet bloods and take them in. Upon realizing their mistake, they usually abandon the wriggler to die. These wrigglers are sometimes lucky enough to be raised by some of their fellow purples.
Lusii choose their charges from each group of wigglers that manage to overcome the Trials in the caves of the Mother Grubs. Often when their charge grows up, the lusii will then see their job as finished and leave the troll to go adopt another. However, it’s not uncommon for a lusus to become attached and to stay with their charge even after maturation.
Lusii are not allowed to be brought into the military or aboard starships unless there is a very good reason, such as the lusus being exceptionally small, unproblematic, and easy to transport or being a military asset due to size and strength or abilities.
If a troll’s lusus dies from any sort of cause before reaching maturation, that troll must fend for themselves. It is illegal for them to be adopted by another lusus.
It’s common for trolls with exceptionally large lusii to be forced to provide food for their lusii, lest they become food themselves. Higher blooded trolls typically solve this problem by killing other trolls and feeding their bodies to their lusii, provided their lusii are carnivorous.
Recuperacoons
Sopor slime is a breathable liquid-like perfluorocarbon, allowing trolls to be completely submerged in their coon. This liquid has some relaxing properties and when swallowed instead of inhaled, it’s like a drug. Sopor ingestion is considered pretty gross amongst trolls but it’s something a few trolls indulge in secretly. Especially lowblooded psions that have to deal with terrible visions and nightmares, or highbloods with pent up aggression.
Coons of the more expensive type automatically filter themselves out of skin cells and other gunk, constantly keeping themselves clean and keeping themselves proper heat.
During a troll’s adult molt, coons serve as a safe space to rest. It keeps the troll’s skin properly hydrated so they don’t desiccate and become injured.
Reproduction
Upon having their adult molts, trolls are given a set date via letter by the Empire on which their genetic material will be collected by a drone every 6 perigrees. It does not matter who the bucket is filled with, all that matters is that it is submitted and taken to the Mother Grub.
All trolls are intersex, producing both a bulge and a nook. Sometimes several bulges. Bulges come in all shapes and forms, the weirder the better. There is no sexual difference between the two binary genders. There are in fact, no genders. Trolls may have sexual preferences for those with or without rumblespheres, but other than that, gender is not something they understand. Trolls are just trolls.
Trolls used to reproduce naturally, but since the enforced use of the Mother Grub by the Empire, the ability has begun to evolve out. Most of troll society are either infertile or lack proper reproductive organs, making them entirely dependant upon the Mother Grub. Evolution made it that some trolls only have a bulge, some only have a nook. Mutations happen, so some trolls may even have two nooks or two sheaths for bulges.
While mutants are cullable on sight, mutants with very minor flaws such as eyes that are the wrong color or trolls that have multiple horns are very often looked over.
Executions/Dealing with Mutants
Public executions are frequent. As seen with Friendsim, an entire club can be eradicated under the suspicion that one or two lowbloods are activists inside it. However, say, the leaders of a rebel cause that have been stirring up trouble, or a psion that went crazy and murdered a whole hivestem with the overcharge of their abilities, these trolls tend to be taken in for interrogation. After all, even if the leader has been eradicated, they need a bunch of names to root out the problem entirely. While someone ordinary is perfectly capable and entitled to the culling of a mutant and hemorebel, the Empire requires it to be reported before it’s done. That’s why trolls tend to capture mutants and wait for the empire to come to deal with them.
If the authorities suspect a troll of a mutation they consider a threat to the norm or acts of rebellion, they will often take care of the troll quietly. The troll will simply disappear, and no one will know why. Sometimes a story is fabricated speaking of broken laws or black market scandal involving the troll, but there is usually no clear pointer to what happened.
If a troll is discovered to be a mutant while aboard a starship in the military, the common course of action is to launch the troll into space without protection.

Prosthetics
Transportalizers
Social medias
There are colonies of near-feral sea dwellers residing in the deep oceans of Alternia. In the same line of thought, there are also near-feral trolls on secluded islands or deep into the forest.
Clothing most often have buttons or zippers in the sides or on the back due to the struggle of taking clothes off over horns
Articles of clothing worn on the head, such as hats or hoods, are typically fitted with velcro or buttons so they can be properly fit around a hornbed and then secured into place
