i'm gonna be honest i don't get why they say everypony instead of everybody in mlp. it's not like the word everybody is human-specific. the ponies have bodies. the word everypony, however, is pony-specific in a world where ponies are not the only people in their society, which means it would be more accurate and inclusive to use everybody instead of everypony. it all makes no sense to me

i find stuff like 'accidental ally' really uncomfortable cuz when a transphobe accidentally tells a trans man he will never be a woman, y'know that's not what they're actually saying, right? sure it may be funny in the moment but it feels like the actual point is being deliberately missed. the actual message is not the text 'you will never be a woman/man' but 'you are wrong about yourself, you are an aberration, a threat, and you need to be corrected and fixed.' it's not hypocrisy or actual stupidity, but an incorrect perceived input resulting in their unintended output.

It's true. On Twitter, you cannot reclaim slurs. Not even "Faggot", like my blog title, even if you're gay, like my me. You can only call people the R-Slur as an insult. #Progress.

i should probably try a crack at classpecting analysis, especially since i'm cooking up an AU where classes are relevant. (luckily i don't have to worry about it too much - my main project (FracPhan) does not have a Sburb or Sburblike session! this AU is just a fun thing for my own entertainment)
