I love the "came back wrong" trope but from the opposite side.

Imagine you are dead. And then you are RIPPED from the embrace of decay into the world of the living again. Your memories are hazy and you don't recognize any of these people, but they act like they're close to you? Like they love you? So you try to get your memories back, to act like you belong here, but everybody tries to forget you died. And you can't. It is omnipresent. And just trying to grapple with that fact pushes the people who "love" you away, and they're incapable of understanding, and they're so confused, what's wrong N̶̄̀O̶͛͗T̷̉́ ̷͋͝Y̴̎̌Ȍ̴̈U̸̓R NÄM̴̃͑E̵̾̇? And you just need them to understand, you aren't that person! You aren't! You don't know who that person is! You don't know why any of this is happening, but they're unwilling to bend, they keep insisting you are that person, your memories will come back, everything will be normal again, and you want to scream and cry and claw yourself open to show them you're different. Your existence as a being wholly separate from whoever you "used to be" is a sin unto itself. All you can do is scrabble for life and to them, you're killing whoever they loved to do it.

Forever feeling soft about the fact that Molly found love and joy after feeling so broken and empty. The way he can't help but reach out to other lost, lonely souls. Caleb's quiet, despondent, "I broke a bit." Molly telling Lucien,"We love broken things the most." The way Caleb feels like, "softness and light" to him.

Just...Caleb spending so long isolated and abandoned, believing he was only ever broken. And Molly, who awoke in a world that made him feel lifeless, and Empty, and broken--showing other shattered souls the love and compassion that saved him--

Confrontation

Minuette took a deep breath as she climbed the worn stone steps of some old ruins. She had received a letter to come here so she had. When she reached the platform at the top she found three large crystal mirrors, one was shattered. She looked at the pattern on the floor and was momentarily transfixed. The sound of hooves on marble where soon heard, Minuette turned to see Twilight Sparkle, the unicorn looked worse for were. "You got my letter." Twilight said it wasn't a question it was a statement.

"I did." Minuette said as she backed up as Twilight approached her. The purple mare stopped when her front hooves touched the edge of the pattern. Minuette glanced down and she saw her own hooves on the other side of the pattern. "I want to show you something." Twilight said, without waiting for a response, Twilight's horn blazed to life and so did the pattern in the floor. Pink light filled the room and in the center mirror the reflection faded to show an odd scene to Minuette.

The ex weather mare of Ponyville, the local seamstress, Ginger's cousin, one of the local bakers, another pegasus that Minuette was sure she'd seen in town, and Twilight herself were gathering for a picnic, Twilight however seemed to be an alicorn instead of a unicorn. "What is this?" Minuette asked in confusion. "This is the life that you stole from me!" Twilight snapped in anger. Minuette tore her gaze from the mirror only to meet Twilight's angry glare. She had no idea what Twilight was talking about and the anger on the other unicorn's face scared her.

my take on amber sweet, i would've loved for more body modifications present during the movie but oh well! i'm still not happy about this design so you can expect more explorations and stuff! (initial sketch under the cut)
