Sashannarcy Soulmates AU but soulmates aren't a thing on Earth, only in Amphibia. Or rather, on Earth there's nothing that indicates soulmatehood(? but on Amphibia there is: you feel your soulmate's pain, and the more they love you, the more you feel it.

So the girls have been soulmates since forever, obviously, but their ability to notice it only came when they landed in Amphibia. Anne and Sasha wake up feeling sore and limping when Marcy breaks her leg. Sasha and Marcy gasp and hold their right arms when the tax toads strike Anne. Both Anne and Marcy feel the right side of their faces burning when Anne cuts Sasha, and her heart breaks because it's only now that the realization hits her.

Both Anne and Sasha scream in pain when Marcy is killed. They wake up in cold sweat holding their heads when she's brought back wrong. And the long slash up Sasha's spine is what makes Darcy falter, body twitching in pain as it remembered that it belonged to someone that Sasha loved.

It's a dangerous thing: loving someone means hurting them, but you can't really help it, can you? Your only option is being careful.

Cue Anne waking up every day feeling like she was beaten up in her sleep after Marcy fell down the stairs again and Sasha hurt herself sparring/training with Grime and Hop Pop just says "huh, that soulmate of yours looks like he keeps getting himself into trouble", much to Anne's shock that 1) Hop Pop thinks she likes boys 2) There are soulmates in Amphibia 3) he assumed she knew what soulmates are.

Agonized over the fact that when Chip reunites with Arlin, no matter how it happens, whether Arlin is dead or alive, corrupted or stable, preserved as he was or aged by time and magic… whether it’s a moment of joy and relief at a long-awaited reunion or a heart-shattering episode of grief because Chip is too late, Chip can’t even cry about it.

Kalafina: Possible Radio Appearance?

We might be getting our first public media appearance of the three of them tomorrow. I wouldn't get my hopes up just yet though since it doesn't seem very likely to me. However, some fans are speculating that Kalafina will make an appearance on the radio program below. Or at the very least, they might have prerecorded a little comment. We'll have to wait and see. For me, this tweet sounds as if they will simply play a few Kalafina songs and call it a day. Usually with radio shows like that, they would specifically mention a live guest appearance or a guest comment.

It would certainly be a good opportunity to finally do some promo work. A proper message is long-overdue. While I would prefer a video or possibly even a live stream, this is very on-brand for Space Craft who have always preferred a more old-school approach. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

sudden, unexpected reunion on a mission - ya'll know this: KNIFE SCENE 2.0 but reversed and they've thought about each other for YEARS and are suddenly in front of each other and all ty thinks is "how beautiful" :'))

family meeting - they know they're gonna see each other and are giddy little fools and it's awkward and bittersweet (yes i like pain)

one of them gets hurts and the other runs there IMMEDIATELY without a second thought and we get the "i thought i lost you" scene very early on (bit of a stretch ik but idc)

they meet again in the LA institute when tessa and jem have business there and kit isn't expecting ty to be there so he just🧍🏼‍♂️and they just stare at each other like love sick fools and say shy "hi's" while simultaneously freaking out about how much they've both changed (*cough* gotten even hotter *cough*)

kinda wild but imagine they meet again in THULE! and the implications behind that! is thule!kit alive? they will need to work together to get through this place and dum dum dum angst and feelings ensue (and our hearts get shattered, nothing new)

For the sake of reiteration, people on the other Blue Bird of Despair site are using Stormblood in negative connotation in comparison to how they believe Dawntrail is going to shake out. I am taking this cynicism and using it to gauge people's feelings on each chunk of the story. Assume that each chunk includes Post, Raid, and other extra side activities as well as the main MSQ story.

With that in mind I'll be making a weekly poll for this sort of things. Because where better place to do it than the lull between 6.55 and now the launch of a new expansion and a new arc in total?

Once again to reiterate as I did for A Realm Reborn: In hindsight or just in general, did you enjoy Heavensward and its content? Whether it was in the past with ARR's systems still clinging on in the form of having to level two jobs to open up your advance job at 30 and the initial aether current placement or as it is modern day, with revamp dungeon system to be more trust like along with other QoL upgrades that have followed it over the years?
