As you probably already know, X/Twitter has been banned in Brazil since last saturday. What you may not know is that, since X closed its office here, 40 employees were dismissed without advance notice, and X/twitter refused to pay what is their rights by brazilian labor law because starlink bank accounts had been previously frozen.

The thing is that one of the reasons Elon Musk gave for closing the X office here was because Starlink and X are NOT the same enterprise, therefore, the fact starlink can't access their money shouldn't be a reason for X employees to be affected.

The good news is that labour justice here in Brazil is much faster than other branches (I'm actually a lawyer here) so all the victims of Elon Musk greedy ass should be okay as soon as Starlink and X/Twitter are ruled as a conglomerate instead of different enterprises.

Elon Musk has to choose a path: either lie that Starlink has nothing to do with Twitter or lie saying that he cannot pay salaries to X employees because of Starlink's blockade. Both don't work.

Because of this Musk has been beefing and making AI memes about the brazilian supreme court minister and in a tantrum fit he closed off ALL operating twitter offices in brazil, so now the site/app is quite literally abandoned in the country. There's no moderation team. There's no one to regulate or control or receive any reports of criminal activity. There is no legal representative to answer to all of that. Musk outright REFUSED to appoint a legal rep in the country bc he's acting like a spoiled child. Since a legal rep is a requirement for any platform to work and do business, it has to be shut down

I know it's a bit late in the year to talk about tanning but I cannot wait to openly tan as a black girl.

I used to believe it was only light skinned people who could tan which made me so sad because I love tan lines so much especially bikini tan lines and having a sun-kissed dark brown complexion and I've always wanted them the same way lighter skinned people did. But now I dont need to worry about being able to tan cus I totally can now😚😚

I hate copyright laws in relation to big companies soo much. It's a pathetic predatory market made to keep the means of poduction in the hands of few.

That's to say that the company responsable for Peppa Pig is processing an old lady (who didn't even had high education nor new about copyright law to begin with) because she sold in her handmade Peppa things in her small inline store (that she made to sustain herself after losing her job). They are suing her for 20 thousand reais wich means nothing monetarialy for them but will financially break this woman forever, she'll likely never be abble to pay this up. And like you can't seriusly convince me, that a brazilian old lady with her small store that only got kinda famous besides very very locally because of the lawsuit represented ANY actual loss to the company. They do this stuff because they can, because it helps to scare other small irrelevant local shops and so upheld the system, because fucks over the artisan class.

She already had to pay 5 thousand reais because of "hedonic damage" and while hopefully not the 20 thousand she was ruled guilty and a "threat to the company" (the justicy system is a joke).
