if he happens to keep you around you know all of the Zoldyck estate gossip because your clairaudience lets you hear everything that goes on in the mansion

every time you hear something new you and Illumi whisk away to some corner and chat quietly

no matter what you tell him he's surprisingly interested, he can and will gossip like a teenage girl

sometimes when he feels like a job is too much of a hassle he lets you handle it with your death scream thingy

he's not a lazy person but everyone has their moments

you are his personal little ghostlike assistant

Chrollo Lucilfer

yeah he's making you one of the supportive members of the troupe

he uses you to gather information with your heightened hearing and ability to predict the death of others

probably asks you if you can contact the dead

if you can then awesome, now you can answer a lot of his questions but if not then oh well

since you can fly pretty fast sometimes he has you snatch up people for questioning

he avoids using you for offensive purposes because your screams reach very far and could possibly accidentally kill him or the other troupe members

so when he does you're usually alone

you were able to sense that Uvo was going to die and also the exact moment he did

knowing his friend would die didn't make it any less painful for Chrollo tho :(

Feitan Portor

he thinks you're a valuable asset to the troupe

most of the time when it comes to catching people for torture and interrogation Chrollo sends you two

you guys are the perfect team for the job honestly, you can catch enemies quickly and also attack them from long distances while Feitan handles all the gross torture stuff

he probably carries ear plugs for this so yk..you don't accidentally kill him when you scream at the enemy

when you predicted Uvo would die after the first run in with the shadow beasts Feitan is like no way

then all of that shit happens yada yada yada then he goes to fight Kurapika and he actually dies

and Feitan was like fuck you were right

now he knows not to doubt your morbid intuition..

oooHHH- Meru, my dear, I was going to wait until I had time to draw something before talking about it since I normally do that. But you guys have been talking about it so l can't hold back anymore.

Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn’t played the game~

(And talk about dark themes. 🫶✨)

Inserting my live reaction here to keep others from accidentally looking at spoilers like I do sometimes:

SO!!!

Based on what I saw in the game, yeah. Starling definitely loved Maelyn. Or at least felt an affection for her. An approximation of those feelings for her. Ultimately, Starling isn’t a human and doesn’t seem to operate quite the way that we would emotionally or mentally (wow that sounds so BAD I SWEAR I DIDN’T MEAN IT IN A BAD WAY-).

Like you said, Starling goes out of his way to dress Maelyn up and even remembers what she said about the “collar” in order to keep her while making sure it isn’t hurting her.

The whole thing didn’t feel malicious, really. Even the drowning. It just felt like he didn’t really understand the consequences of that one action. I hesitate to make the comparison, but Starling kinda feels childlike somehow. I don’t mean this in a way to infantilize the character at all, I swear. It’s just the way he reacts to things. Very dangerous baby with big pointy claws and teeth, lololol.

And you’re definitely right about him being able to make you forget that he’s very capable of violence. Because even when he does things that could be considered violent, it’s in such a way that it doesn’t come off as such. I feel that this aspect of him was reflected pretty well in the game as it is from Maelyn’s perspective and she kinda just goes “well there goes my fingers oh well-“ It was to the point that I was like “wait wait wait rewind and lemme move my bang so I can read that again- her FINGERS??? JUST??? GONE??? LIKE THAT???” But, then again, you could argue that it was partially because of her mental state as well. And I think the whole almost childlike feeling I got from Starling only plays into this whole thing about him feeling almost safe at times even with his glaringly obvious “otherness”.

It doesn’t help that he was so amicable for the most part. But that was likely because he was getting everything he wanted up until Maelyn said she would only come back after four days.

Onto a few other things… This game reminded me of things about myself that I forgot about for a while LOLOLOL-

It was funny because. I got the marriage ending first. But while playing the first time and getting to the part where we first see him open himself up… I was like “what if I just crawled in there- no I shouldn’t think that,,,” THEN LOW AND BEHOLD. WHEN I GOT THE OTHER ENDING- 😂😭

This is such a good analyses honestly, and yes you are right, Starling is quite childish. It's not that he has the mind or mental capacity of a child but it's in a bit of a "pure" state if you will. It really makes me want to talk about his backstory but that's why we are making bonus episodes.

Maelyn as a character definitely effects our perception of the events as well. Honestly if that happened to my fingers I'd pass out right then and there.

It's so funny how you mind aligned with Maelyn's, I'm sure she would love to try licking his insides (he did kiss his heart)

ouueeehh we're back to my corny love letters like last time 💜 again absolutely NO pressure reading these, because it WILL get lengthy 💜 this also serves as a personal love letter that i can archive!

ahh, steven st.one. a wild card in my f/o list. i never thought i'd find myself to like him... i've always tried my best to avoid the pretty boy design after i've gotten older which is why i was oddly in denial during my early steven days hehe... the earliest memory i have of him is just me battling him in my ruby emulator back in the 4th grade - but i don't think i actually remembered him too well, i only thought he looked like a silly anime version of the classical composer be.ethoven and tbh, i still like to think he does look like him in the rse style lolll 💜

for the whole, actual story - it was just last year - i was reading the r/s arc, of course. it was one of those days in school where i had nothing much to do and snuck my phone to read manga to pass some time. at some point, my classmate joined to read with me - it was at this moment where steven debuts properly and it caught my classmate by Surprise. she thought he looked very handsome! to which i teased her... strangely enough, this exchange impacted me? maybe it's because someone acknowledged what i was doing and even bothered to briefly read along with me - so in a way steven kinda bookmarked that memory.

so after that exchange, i just kept on reading. everytime he had something to say, i couldn't help but just stare at his face? he looked nice, i guess? he's also very gentle and polite... i kept this thought of mine for quite sometime until i was discussing the manga arc with my p.okespe mutual and he mentioned him. i somewhat confessed he looked nice and that was the biggest mistake i've ever done because what my friend did after was absolutely blow me with art after art of the pretty rock collector and i was STRUGGLING. it ultimately came down to this one cute panel in the o.ras chapter where he was blushing and I wasn't the same person since then 🚶🚶🚶and funnily enough, i told myself I wasn't going to fall for anyone because of the manga and whoopedoo p.okespe!steven my beloved the greatest man ever. i mean i love the game counterpart as well, they're nearly identical - it's just the manga that totally swept me... sighhhh

steven is such a nice character to begin with, he's honestly a very humble and nice champion. he's not showy about his identity and would rather be alone by himself to indulge in what he wants. he is willing to give up a very respectable position in the po.kemon league just to pursue his interests and with that i see a man not after power and fame but a man who just wants to find joy in what he does even if it demotes him. on top of that, he's just a sweet gentleman. he was raised well of course, and you can see it clearly in his acts in the story. i love him very much for that and who wouldn't want those traits?

i was really absolutely embarrassed to be all over this guy at first - it took a whole month for me to actually share to my blog about how i liked steven and took awhile to adjust to that fact that i opened up about it 😭 but the community was very kind and supportive about the pairing and if i'm being honest, i think stevaide made a super lasting impact on my blog recently and it's really so comforting to picture them as a young loving married couple with ruby. it made me feel unashamed with what i can do with my silly ships. i'm still very glad for the endless support for steven and jaide.

I'm a 19yo 5'2 transman, I study psychology and tattoo artistry, and my clothing/aesthetic is vampire goth/alternative with a touch of femboy. You treat him like a person- like an actual person, not like how the doctors and nurses at Smith’s Grove did, it was fake and if he was being honest, he felt more like they were talking to him as if he was a child or some sort of dog but you, you treat him like a person. He gets used to it eventually though after a while.

He’d be intrigued by your fashion as he’s not used to the idea of men/masc people dressing feminine, it’s just something he’s never really come across in his life but he absolutely would not judge you and I can imagine him bringing home accessories and such from victims that he thinks you’d enjoy <3.

I personally headcanon Michael as Aromantic (totally not projecting I definitely don’t do this with all my favorite characters haha lol) so the relationship wouldn’t be fueled by romance and you guys aren’t exactly dating but you are committed and care very much for each other. The relationship transcends the idea of romance and the bond you both have built is stronger than anything. You’re his and he’s yours, together both in this life and the one after it.

He’d find your clingy nature off putting at first (just because he isn’t used to it) but amusing, like I can imagine him coming home after a long night and you just run up to greet him with a hug, leading him over to the couch to have some nice cuddles after not seeing the man all day. they're both shopping fiends honestly but roxy is picking to go places like thrift stores or discount department stores or beelining to the sales racks in more higher end spots her boyfriend likes to pick out. though she's thankful she's making good money at rocque records, she's still pretty hardwired to penny-pinch. james is more into more expensive and trendy spots like Abercrombie + fitch, hollister, american eagle. he's doing his best to follow trends and look high end, while roxy just mostly picks out things she thinks are cute and inexpensive, still follows trends just not as strictly as he does. if they're both shopping and accumulating bags, i think they both carry their own items, but if they just stop in for something roxy wants he'll pick up the bag!

truth b told if i started simblr like. today and knew nothing about photoshop then i'd probably be pretty demoralised too but also thats exactly how it was starting simblr anyway i just worked on it until i was happy w my skills... no one gave me a cheat code i just put time and effort into it

i agree with u im ngl like i do sincerely wish everyone had the opportunity to put hours and hours of their lives into learning how everything about this works if thats what they truly wanted. also if anything doing it solely by urself will make the process all the more time consuming but if u ask around for help people (including me! im down to help fr) will usually give it to u and that'll speed up the process more. being mad at me for having that is pointless what am i gna do go back in time and unlearn it all and for what? dsfghjk

okay i did see this being said a lot and uhhhh i was trying to understand it but like. i also don't. like ok with cluttered aesthetic build shots or yknow the odd landscape with heavy bloom shader on it i guess if ur looking at it completely from that pov yeah i guess it looks like some posts that "blow up" r just sort of the same shit. but the fact remains that its also it's good shit like anyone can clutter a room and take a photo of it what really counts here in my opinion anyhow is shot composition. and there's literally preestablished rules for this sort of thing u can google cinematography basics and get it for free... there's a whole field of study looking into what draws the human eye. like maybe the core concepts behind what makes a popular post popular is the same but thats because it just works. if u wanna shy away from that entirely but then complain about ur posts not being as popular then that's very much a u problem it doesn't have anything to do with the rest of us

idk why i'm the bad guy for being honest for my reasoning behind what i do and don't reblog? lots of other people have been saying they dont really care about aesthetics which is great but if i said that i'd literally just be lying to you. i'm not gonna apologise for not lying... i like being able to see the passion and energy poured into the same video game we're all playing it's only natural to appreciate that- if that reads as passive aggression and u don't understand my stance that's fine by me

i would say for me personally try watch visual media that u can recognise as "beautiful" and not to shit on like. cw shows but i mean stuff that is marked by its cinematography being truly excellent. and just really examine how those set and lighting designers use angles and lighting and how the people filming and editing choose to frame their shots to achieve what works. hell looking at art helps with this too. look at other people's stuff on simblr analytically try to seriously work out why it appeals to people the way it does. ik u asked for editing tips but i think it really starts ingame you can have the most incredible editing style but it doesn't work if ur shot comp doesn't work then it'll won't hit as hard

take time to learn what most of the adjustment layers do on photoshop, and what all the blending layers look like, download other people's psds and play with them on top of ur shots to see what works! what u personally think looks good will be different from what i personally think looks good, i like dramatic lighting and muted colours and mid level contrast so not too strong but i can't speak for whether you will too. ALSO im a religious user of @/simmerstesia's psd set here i think a well chosen shot can be really elevated by using something like this to really give it that final polish

I THINK… they wouldn’t have any places shared they’d wanna go in mind. What I mean by that is like Tyler wants to go to small towns and random states for no particular place to see or stay, while the narrator would wanna go to the places that are advertised as ur usual ideal vacation spots.

Not that narrator wants to feel like he’s living lavishly again (tho he lowkey likes taking small breaks from their house that’s falling apart) but he does wanna treat Tyler to amazing views, places and luxury even tho Tyler would ‘hate’ hearing that lol. So like Tyler would say he wants to go to texas while the narrator would say he wants to go Hawaii.

•Jack would definitely get stressed a bit about making sure they both have packed everything.. but I feel like at least once Tyler has told him to “stop worrying man! Just live!!!” And Jack listened.. and that happened to be the trip where they both left a bunch of important things at home. Plus I think Jack would pack Tylers bag for him because Tyler ‘doesn’t care’.. so Tyler is without clean socks, boxers and his small amount of self care products. Which would probably earn Jack a smack on the back of his head and Tyler acting cold to him for a bit smh 🤦‍♀️

•Tyler would wanna take a lot of pictures!!! Of himself, Jack, them together, weird shit they see, and etc. he probably took pictures that don’t even make any sense too like a zoom in of one of Jacks eyes 🤨 He really loves filming and taking pictures I think!!!!!!! Maybe that’s part of the reason he works in a movie theater…he’d wanna do something where he could film/take pictures as a job but just never really went out of his way to go down that path for some reason. (Sorry im getting off track & rambling lol)

Anyways he has a picture binder thing he stole that he keeps all the pictures in! And will talk about them all & show them off to anyone even if they don’t care lol.

•Jack would take a little souvenir if he could. Like the stuff you buy. But Tyler wouldn’t like that so Narrator just takes like a small rock off the ground somewhere and maybe hides that he did from him 💀 bc Tyler and his rants about possessions.

Tyler allowed himself ONCE to get one of those keychain things that has random names on it because he found one that said Tyler that was hot pink and glittery.

•Tyler loves to try new food from different places! Jack sticks to things that are familiar to him bc autism but Tyler loves ordering just anything that sounds interesting or new (also bc Tyler has AUTISM! He likes to seek out new sensory stuff while Jack likes to stay with what he knows)

•Assuming if they just drove somewhere together, Tyler is obviously the one driving while Jack is doing everything else. Passing him snacks (and probably feeding him), reading directions, changing the music, ‘keeping him awake’ by uh… being a little handsy and uhh uhm I won’t say what else 👀👀 BUT YEAH he’s doing everything while Tyler drives.

Tyler honestly gets kinda mad that Jack doesn’t trust him driving.. he only crashed a car once on purpose… Jeez 🙄

3. What are some of your favorite tickling related stories, art, videos, or other posts on tumblr?

Honestly, my favorite content on Tumblr (that originated on tumblr) is all of the personal anecdotes and videos and audios that everyone posts of their IRL sessions and teases. And also like, detailed stories of the fantasies that people have and situations they'd like to happen, or even just, "I'm really in the mood for ___." I love that shit. I love how sincere all of it is and how different all of it is, and when I first stumbled upon Tumblr, it opened my eyes to how staged a lot of the stuff I'd seen prior was. Everyone who posts their own content, please keep doing it (for as long as you're comfortable doing so, of course). That being said, I don't want to tag anyone or post any examples because that seems weird, you know?

10. How did you end up on tumblr?

I've had a vanilla for like. Fifteen years or something. Not exaggerating, lolll. And I guess there were times where... the mood would hit. And I got feral and searched "tickling" (wow that's a hard context to say that in) and... I saw a lot of stuff that I liked, aha. So I saved it to my drafts and would just periodically look at it, you know, like a normal person does. And then one day I decided to look at the blogs who posted them, and I realized... there are at a decent amount of people who post about this on here. So I started lurking on them and reading what other people would post, and then the desire to yell about things overcame me, lol. I was like, "I really feel like making a post about this or commenting on this video or talking to someone about it," but like. There was no way in hell I was doing that on my vanilla, where I follow and am followed by people I know IRL. So I made a separate blog, and here we are!

29. Do you prefer (either for or as lees) restraints, being pinned, or being able to squirm freely?

I'm going to preface this by saying I like all of it a lot. There are aspects to all of them that are appealing to me. Being able to squirm, and trying not to, is fun. Being in restraints and not being able to move at all and just being subjected to it is also very fun. But I think being pinned is probably my favorite of the three, just because I feel like it's the most intimate of the three. You're being restrained by the ler's body, so they have to be closer to you than they might be otherwise. Something about being held still... it feels more personal, I guess. It also kind of reminds me of like... when you'd get in a tickle fight with someone, and you're kind of able to avoid their advances for a while, and then they catch you and hold you down and you have that moment of "Shit." ... yeah. Big fan of that emotion. 👍
