okay look, calming down - i understand why some people would want zelda to be a protagonist in like a totk-style 3d zelda. that would be great! the reason i predicted 2d for playable zelda is because its a smaller gamble for nintendo - imo, its realistically what we could get. especially at the end of the switch' life cycle AND so soon after totk.

BUT i'm very happy, for a few reasons:

1. it IS mainline zelda. its not called "triforce heroes" or "tingle's rosy rupeeland", its not a peach-style spinoff or side game. its a real zelda game. its called THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: ECHOES OF WISDOM. that alone, giving the mainline zelda brand prestige to this, IS a risk. and its one i super appreciate nintendo taking!!!

2. i disagree that just because it has the links awakening toy-style aesthetic, that automatically makes it a "lesser" or unserious game. links awakening IS a good game! its some peoples favorite! it added interesting lore to the zelda series, its a canon part of the timeline, its mechanically fun, and it has the fun psychological element of analyzing it in terms of links feelings about the dream. like how even the boss monsters are fearful of "dying", begging link not to destroy the island. which of course isn't "real" since its a dream, but its interesting that link would THINK that. also, marin 💔

3. like i said in the prediction post, this could be understood as a testfire for the concept. IF its as successful as any other 2d zelda game (and thats a big if! i already see people calling it more niche or for babies. i hope that doesnt catch on too much and depress hype 😞), maybe nintendo WILL see it as less of a gamble to make zelda the protagonist in a full-on, "serious" 3d title. nintendo is, after all, a business. trying it out with a smaller game makes total sense.

also... it looks like a good game? when a link between worlds was released, everyone thought the wall merging ability was brilliant and a great way to turn 2d zelda into a more unique experience.

this, to me, looks to have similar potential!! the fact that zelda can essentially order enemies to fight for her and use her environment to think of intelligent solutions to any problem is very in-character! it's fitting both for a princess and for the bearer of the triforce of wisdom.

also, its not just building/environment traversal! she does fight!

idk y'all, this looks like a great time to me! i don't know why people would presume its any "lesser" than any other 2d zelda... when we've literally seen another 2d zelda with this exact artstyle. and its an original game!! its not a remake!! :D

Batman moved to sit at the table in the kitchenette, his hand absently moving to adjust a cape that wasn’t there. He pulled out a tablet and brought up the camera feed for the bedroom, the audio from the bugs he’d planted in his ear. Nearby the JLD had finished agreeing on their plan and were setting it in motion, it seemed Dr. Fate was the first to go cast spells at the boy.

Diana came into the room. “The boy has several blessings.”

That caught everyone’s attention. “What kind of blessings?” Constantine asked warily.

Diana shook her head, “I couldn’t tell, I just know he has several blessings from powerful beings.”

“The boy or the king?” Raven asked.

Diana shook her head again.

“Something else for us to look into,” Zatanna said with a tired sigh. Discussion between the JLD members picked back up, kept carefully hushed, as if afraid the boy (or the king sleeping inside him) would somehow hear.

Diana came and sat down next to Batman, he changed the angle on the tablet so they could both watch. That’s all either of them could do right now, sit and watch.

Diana sighed, “He looks content.”

Batman turned his attention from Dr. Fate casting his spells to Danny, seemingly dead to the world as magic flashed over him. “He does.”

“I hope it stays that way, I hope we are able to find a solution before he wakes.”

Batman simply nodded, he hoped so as well.

Dr. Fate finished with his spells and quietly made his way back to the kitchenette. There was a brief discussion from the group, then Zatanna was taking her turn.

Their discussion continued even after the Sorceress Supreme left, Batman catching brief snatches of magical jargon. He technically knew the definitions of the words he heard, but he knew his understanding was surface level at best.

Dr. Fate approached their table. “Wonder Woman, you said the blessings were laid by powerful beings?”

Diana nodded, “Yes, quite powerful.”

“Can you describe how powerful?”

Diana’s brow furrowed as she thought the matter over, “I believe they were on par with the gods, though it didn’t feel divine.”

Dr. Fate nodded, then returned to the huddle to discuss the matter further.

Batman and Diana watched as Zatanna finished her round, then conceded to Captain Marvel. They expected him, as the champion of magic, to have the most insight, yet when he walked back into the room he looked quite disappointed as he shook his head. “I fear the wisdom of Solomon has failed me.”

“Is it perhaps the same block that has kept us from noticing Amity Park?” Diana asked, standing up to join the JLD in their huddle.

“Most likely,” Zatanna agreed. “I couldn’t even get a read on the blessings you spoke of.”

“Was there anything you could scry?” Diana asked.

While their discussion continued, debating whether it was better to figure the block out or attempt to blindly work around it given their unknown limit, Batman kept his eye on the feed of Danny’s room. Clark leaned forward, the blankets shifted, then Danny was sitting up while yawning and stretching.

“Danny’s woken up,” Batman said.

The room fell silent.

Constantine sighed and nudged Raven, “C’mon, luv, let’s get outta the way.” He waved a hand and the lights dimmed. “Remember, keep him half awake as long as possible. And try to look like you’re here for a reason, make a cuppa or something.”

There was a mild flurry in Constantine’s wake as the others bustled about making a quick cup of tea or popping off-brand toaster pastries into the provided toaster. Not a bad plan, it’ll make the room smell homier and would give the magicians an excuse to be there.

Diana placed a half full glass of water near Batman, sitting down with her own steaming mug. The kitchenette now smelled of warm tea, toasting pastries, and ozone. Batman closed out of the surveillance and switched over to a note taking app.

Clark eventually entered, gently guiding Danny along. The boy had Batman’s cape over his shoulders but it was dangerously close to slipping off one, Clark fussily rearranged the cape as the bleary eyed boy shuffled slowly into the room. Danny hadn’t even seemed to notice his audience as he slowly made his way to the table and plopped gracelessly into a chair.

Marvel handed off the quickly plated pastries to Clark, which he gently placed before Danny. Zatanna offered a steaming mug, which Clark also gently placed in front of the boy.

“There we are, Danny, you hungry?”

Danny mumbled something as he absently picked up his pastry, chocolate this time, and began nibling it.

There was an exchanging of glances between the room’s occupants, as if unsure how to proceed. Then Zatanna and Dr. Fate both lifted a hand each, inscribing runes into the air.

“How are you feeling now, champ?” Clark asked awkwardly.

“Mmm… better,” Danny mumbled, crumbs tumbling from his mouth. He followed it with a yawn, yet again moving his hand as if to cover his mouth and missing far and away too much to hide his sharp fangs.

Clark glanced down at the mug, then nudged it closer. “Have some hot cocoa.”

Danny hummed in agreement and reached for the mug, just holding it in his hands.

Batman glanced back at the magicians. It seemed Zatanna was having difficulty with whatever spell she was attempting, and from the similar expression on Marvel’s face he was in the same situation. Or perhaps all three were attempting a combined spell.

Danny slowly lifted the mug and took a careful sip. “Hmmm… s’good.”

“That’s good,” Clark said with a gentle smile. “Eat up, you’re a growing boy.”

“Still growing,” Danny mumbled, but did as he was told. He held his pastry back up and nibbled more.

Batman felt the hairs on his arms raise despite being covered head to toe, the tension from the three magicians’ combined spell clearly filling the room.

The tension broke suddenly with a gasp at the same time a faint jingle played in the room. Batman frowned, unsure what had caused that. From the wide eyed stares from Marvel and Zatanna, they weren’t sure either. Or perhaps they knew exactly what was going on and were shocked.

The jingle played again, this time Batman placing it as coming from Danny’s direction. He watched as Danny absently reached up to touch his ear, a white ear piece with a little arm and neon green mic on the end simply appeared.

There were choked gasps, Batman spared a quick glance to find all three magicians reeling back in stunned shock.

“... ‘llo?” Danny mumbled.

Hello! Could you explain the flux?

Adding to that. Could you also explain Swarm and Azure? What species are they? Why were they imprisoned?

What was the Flux?

The Flux was a wave of anti-matter unleashed by the Division with one goal: to obliterate the entire universe and eliminate one specific target—the Doctor. The Division had decided, in their infinite wisdom, that if they couldn't control the Doctor, it would be better to wipe out everything and start fresh in a brand-new universe. This is a bit like deciding to burn down your entire house because you don't like the curtains, but hey, ho.

⚛️ How It Worked

The Flux was like a giant hurricane made of antimatter, or perhaps more realistically the biggest bomb of antimatter ever created, similar to Davros' Reality Bomb. Every particle it touched was ripped apart or destabilised - as it tore through the universe, it indiscriminately wrecked everything in its path, creating pure chaos in a universe of reason.

1️⃣ The First Flux

The First Flux event wiped out a lot of the universe, leaving Earth at the centre of a battlefield. The Daleks, Cybermen, and Sontarans all fought for control of the remaining fragments of existence, leading to intergalactic war. The First Flux also damaged the Temple of Atropos, causing a temporal chaos known as the Great Disruption to accompany all this.

2️⃣ The Second Flux

The Division planned a Second (and Final) Flux, intending to finish what they had started and bring the universe to its ultimate end, but the Doctor managed to prevent it from completely destroying the Universe by using some old forbidden Dark Time tech and a bit of bants. Unfortunately, the Doctor couldn't bring back what the Flux had already destroyed, leaving large swathes of reality forever erased from existence.

🌠 The Aftermath

Entire galaxies, civilisations, and histories were wiped out, leaving a much less interesting universe to explore. Even now in newer incarnations, the Doctor really isn't over it. He rationalises that because the Division targeted him specifically, the entire tragedy of the Flux was entirely his fault. But that kid's always been dramatic.

Who are Swarm and Azure?

Swarm and Azure were members of an ancient species known as Ravagers who lived in the Dark Times of the universe, and worshipped the eternal embodiment of Time.

They first got a bit uppity when the ancient Time Lords decided to make the Universe a more organised and less dangerous place, which involved the imprisonment of the personification of Time and some Mouri gal pals in the Temple of Atropos. The Ravagers obviously saw this as heresy.

⛓️ Imprisonment

The Ravagers' dislike of the Time Lords' actions led to a fight known as the Founding Conflict. During this, Swarm and Azure were involved in what's become known as the Seige of Atropos, where they took control of the Temple of Atropos and all the Mouri within it, whom the Time Lords had so carefully placed. The Doctor, then part of the Division, defeated them.

Following their defeat, the Division deemed that Swarm and Azure were too dangerous to be left to their own devices. Swarm was imprisoned in a containment chamber at the Burnished Rage battleground, while Azure was hidden on Earth, her identity erased, and her true nature suppressed under a human guise. Why be simple when a more convoluted solution would do?

🏃‍♂️ Escape and the Flux

Thanks to the head of the Division and part-time evil adoptive mother, Tecteun, Swarm escaped and then liberated his sister. They then decided that instead of the Division using the Flux to wipe out the Universe, they would use the Flux to wipe out the Universe, because religion makes that totally different. This all, of course, failed, and the very person they'd been worshipping for so long killed them both for their 'failure'.

Here are some of my study tips to help you maintain your stamina and focus:

When in doubt, make everything into an itemized list (topics, timelines, organizing by subtopic, key facts/people/dates surrounding a significant event, concept, theory, or ideology, cause and effect, problem and solution, etc.)

Use real-life analogies and applications as often as possible to retain information (e.g. to remember acronyms, propositions through the "box" metaphor, etc.)

Reframe long-winded information into an ongoing narrative. Humans are better at retelling stories than retaining/regurgitating a laundry list of facts or statistics

Organize your study sessions to each focus on one main topic, concept, or chapter

Create a timeline for all your assignments. Plan in advance to work on projects in milestones rather than all at once

Utilize time-blocking to pace yourself through the information (e.g. devote 30 minutes to one task or an hour to studying a specific concept; take a fully unplugged break before resuming work or another study session). Use a countdown timer if you think it would be helpful for you – everyone is different

Prioritize rest, even if it sounds counterintuitive at first. You're most productive and focused when your mind is well-rested enough to achieve and maintain peak performance. Efficiency is more important than time spent on a task – the former is what makes all of the difference (and leads to a more well-rounded, fulfilling life, too)

Discover motivating playlists that keep you on task. I love the ones for ADHD from Jason Lewis - Mind Amend on YouTube (I'm listening to one now, lol). Coffee or caffeinated tea can also help your energy to power through a study session, just don't overdo it

Hi! Umm.. ANCIENT DORCAS.

YES ANCIENT DORCAS!!! I did not forget about this ask, I just tried to type out a bunch more of the Dorcas lore and it was taking way too long, so I'll probably give it it's own post sometime. But I WILL take this opportunity to ramble.

She's Victorian! She's snappy! She used to work for some sort of Ministry-funded wizarding history and heritage department, but after the whole Grindelwald deal went down, she lost confidence in their ability to handle anything and quit. Now she works for an independent historical research firm. She's great at breaking curses, but she prefers to try and relocate them off the historical sites onto easily transportable objects for further study.

In her fifth year at Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, at age eleven, would not stop bugging her about her Ancient Runes coursework until she finally agreed to tutor him for a subject he wasn't even taking. Dorcas can and will use her connection with eleven-year-old Albus against him - she does respect him, of course, but it's very difficult to take his cryptic wisdom quite as seriously when you've seen him as a snotty little first year bouncing around Hogwarts carrying double his weight in library books. She does prefer Aberforth's company (although they absolutely disagree on the best brand of Firewhisky - Dorcas will not tolerate anything except Ogden's Old). The Hog's Head is her favourite place in Hogsmeade - she likes to talk to the hog's head on the wall, which enjoys a good sip of Butterbeer every now and again.

She's not exactly a well-known historian, but by the time Voldemort shows up, she's definitely a prominent figure in the wizarding community, despite having disappeared for a decade or so following Grindelwald's defeat. She never really felt the need to start a family of her own, but she does quite enjoy being an aunt figure, and she definitely brought Violetta Black's kids HEAPS of weird souvenirs from her work.

Speaking of Violetta's kids, after her son Marius Black is disowned at the ripe old age of eleven for being a Squib, Dorcas ends up taking him. Does she have any idea what to do with an eleven year old boy? No. Is she going to take him to Aberforth and work out a plan? Yes, absolutely. Aberforth's solution is blankets and a good warm mug of Butterbeer (Dorcas would not let an eleven year old near Firewhisky). Eventually, they find a place at a good Muggle boarding school for Marius, and off he goes. Dorcas does not speak to Violetta after that day.

She's also Barty Crouch Jr's godmother, because she's worked with his mother for years. This is a responsibility she takes very seriously, especially given Mrs Crouch's kind of poor health. Dorcas probably helps out a lot towards those twelve O.W.L.s - being around complex magical theory books and strange artefacts and obscure potion recipes from a young age tends to give you an edge in a good few O.W.L. subjects. She also has no idea he's a Death Eater until the last hour of her life, when he turns her location over to Voldemort.

As soon as the news that "The Legend of the Hidden Sea" was about to start filming came out, overwhelming rumors swept across the world. It was true or false, and it was just a blur.

Create an independent and complete original script

Bearing a blood feud, he returned to the capital ten years later under the pseudonym Zanghai. With the help of the construction techniques and manipulation techniques he has learned for many years , all the way to wisdom and treachery, and finally the injustice was avenged.

This is a period drama with revenge as the main line. The character of the male protagonist Zanghai is a contradictory and complex complex. On the surface, he is calm and calm, proficient in the art of manipulation, good at scheming people's hearts, and sworn in with his enemies; but deep down, he has not given up the pursuit of justice and truth, and has never lost his good nature.

During the script creation process, the screenwriter will send the script to the director every once in a while. The director will also give very detailed opinions. Judging from the above-mentioned general story line, "Zanghai Zhuan" is not only a "legendary drama with a male protagonist", but also displays and discusses complex human nature.

"Zanghai Zhuan" also has very strict requirements in terms of styling, art, props, etiquette, etc. All staff members submitted proposals and went through layers of screening before finally joining the crew. In the early preparation process, historical consultants and etiquette directors have already started working. It can be as small as how to design the cloud patterns on an official uniform, what style the official uniforms and official hats are, or as big as whether the buildings and props made by comparing ancient paintings are in line with the characteristics of the historical dynasty they are referring to. Casting Tips

The casting of "Zanghai Zhuan" was brainstormed in the early stages, but the final choice was made by the directors. Every confirmed actor is the one that everyone thinks is most suitable for the role.

In several early meetings, the directors believed that Xiao Zhan's image and temperament were very suitable for the role of Zanghai. They had a lot of discussions with Xiao Zhan about the story and characters, and Xiao Zhan also put forward many of his own ideas and questions. Both employers and employees need to find a balanced compromise to ensure sustainable, respectful collaboration and secure the long-term success of their organizations—both economically and interpersonally. But what makes a good leader?

Current analyses, marketing, and employer branding trends and too many so called coaches offer many “ultimate solutions” for a leadership rethink. Yet, ancient wisdom may provide deeper insights through active self-reflection and reorientation. Despite massive changes in our material world, fundamental human needs like protection, health, genuine happiness, and contentment have remained relatively the same. This growing gap between employers and employees contributes to psychosocial problems in our society, with the rapid economic and technological advancements outpacing our mental capacity to keep up, leading to mental distortions, especially among younger generations.

Ancient wisdom in modern leadership

A profound example of a good leader is Lord Hanuman from the revered Indian epic Ramayana, composed by Vālmīki between the 4th century BC and the 2nd century AD. At the center of the Ramayana is Lord Rāma, an incarnation of Vishnu, who descends to earth to save the world from the demon lord Ravana. The epic narrates the life of Rāma and his beloved wife Sita, their abduction to Lanka (the later Sri Lanka) by Ravana, and their eventual rescue with the invaluable help of Hanuman, the monkey god.

Hanuman, an incarnation of Shiva, is one of India's most cherished deities. His devotion and friendship with Rāma and Sita epitomize "Dasya Bhava," the devoted love of a servant for his Lord. Elu is hesitant in new things but tries to keep an open mind. It’s difficult to adjust because she is unsure of what would happen if she tries something new and it might end up a bad experience. Not to mention growing up in an isolated village doesn’t give her enough exposure to foreign cultures.

Locals in her homeland know her to be a strong-willed girl who can be brutally honest because she intends to fix the problem right away, she believes that sugar-coating would delay the solution and make it worse. Though she does feel a little bad if someone cries from her criticism.

Being a beastman, she is very agile with a keen sense of smell as well as strength that surpasses humans. She often goes out hunting with the older members of the group and she displays full cooperation with other teammates.

But another thing to note is that she is a black bear beastman, her temperament is calm but she has a thin patience and she will growl or roar in anger. Despite being so small, she has incredible physical strength.

One thing she dislikes is when the team is unstable and problematic, she would quickly abandon that group and do the job herself or find another that’s got their heads together. She’d rather have the task done quickly and efficiently with no side tracking.

Unfortunately, this gives off the impression that she’s cold and unsociable which is far from the truth. She just needs to tone down a little bit.

Elu is actually mature and gives advice for those who can’t look after themselves. She enjoys the simple things in life and can have her moments where she spouts words of wisdom that makes others think she’s a wise, old sage.

Hometown: Bearland Woods

Family History

She grew up in a village where the locals rarely or never interact with outsiders. They aren’t against having outsiders visit but it was clear they don’t know how to handle interacting with people living different lifestyles.

The villagers are all beastmen who are mostly of the bear genus, though there are some who are deer and raccoon. Everyone knows each other and treat each other as if they were all family. Which means they don’t stand idly by if one of them gets hurt.

But they’ve been especially wary of outsiders after a group of shady businessmen started causing problems for them. Some of their people were imprisoned and branded as the bad guys when they retaliated.

They know nothing about the modern laws of the urban society and are pressured to take deals that would only benefit the other party. Thankfully, her father was a firm man and kept refusing them every time. But it won’t be long until they use every influence they have to chase them out of their home.

Elu is upset by these people and how they seem to be driven by their greed. It doesn’t help that they would disrupt the environment with their logging and illegal dumping.

Unlike city folk, life in her village was simple yet satisfying. They take what they need from the forest while also respecting the cycle of life. They don’t hunt out of vanity or pride. The males usually do the hunting but there have been women who are capable enough to hunt alongside them.

Due to Elu’s elder brother being born with weak body, she has taken the task of hunting for food and foraging. She has been taught knowledge on how to traverse the land and recognize edible and non-edible plants from her father.

Childhood Memories

Elu has a fond memory of her father protecting her from a bison that wandered too close, her father struggled but he overpowered the animal and sent it away from their borders. His tall stature and rough features may have come off as intimidating to others but to Elu he was her hero.

She wanted to be like him so she does everything she can to make him proud. Even courageously taking the chance to leave home to attend DCA in order to help their village.

There was an unpleasant memory where she was told to stay in the house by her father but she got curious and peeked to see these formally dressed businessmen. Whatever they said made her father mad, he eventually sent them away.

But what happened after that was scarred into her memory, a couple of houses in her village were suddenly set ablaze, her brother nearly losing his life when he was trapped in the rubble.

She smelled the source of the fire when the businessmen returned, they smelled like gasoline, when she cried out that they were the culprits. They mocked her by asking if they even have any solid evidence as well as a lawyer, implying that her village wouldn’t win because they have the money and power to make it their victory.

Elu’s rage from what the businessmen said made her determined to focus for the benefit of her village but this in turn made her closed off to outsiders. Afraid they would be like the businessmen, lying through their teeth.

Like Jinlong, she has trouble adjusting to the school life due to the culture shock. So, she often keeps to herself while occasionally asking the professors for advice when Elu feels like there was no other option. Which is the reason why she struggled a lot at first.

Not to mention, she doesn’t understand the concept of idol concerts and what the purpose of this was. She isn’t familiar with the pop songs or rock, she was more of a traditionalist but she felt like not many people would be interested in that.

She was at a loss for what she was doing and if she was even trying hard enough. Until Perrine approached her and made Elu comfortable enough to finally figure out how to get used to the school environment and subjects enough to guarantee her that she won’t need to drop out of school.

Putting her inventing skills to use, she does a lot of favors in exchange for what she needs, be it some notes or tutoring. In time, she got better and has gained a reputation for herself in school. Elu thinks that it’s only a small group but in reality she helped a lot of people and they admire her a lot.

Her grades are fairly decent but it was clear that she started to improve the more she managed to understand the foreign subjects. Not among the top students but still high around the B grade.

An excellent archery shooter who can shoot with high accuracy even when on horseback. She is known to even shoot arrows through ring holes as small as a pinky finger.

School Relationships

Elu mostly kept to herself and her “strictly business” attitude made it difficult for idle chit chat. It wasn’t until she was forced to seek out the help of other students that she learns to communicate more.

Even though she was still a bit professional, she at least made progress. She’s learned to try out new things little by little and learn more about new topics.

Perrine was the first to approach her and wasn’t thrown off by Elu’s reluctance. She managed to win her over just a bit with food because who doesn’t? Plus, it would help the girl relax a little and feel welcome.

Rozeline and Elu started off as acquaintances who exchanged information of interest until they became close enough to consider each other as friends in a way. Elu figured she could gain knowledge she needed from Rozeline and in turn can hope to put her issues in the urban public.

Elu found Rozeline’s inventions innovative and would take notes from her, but she’s sure to also provide her own feedback on how to make it eco-friendly while still efficient.

Jinlong was an enigma to Elu, she has never seen other beastmen let alone something like a dragonkin like Jinlong. So, she is both intrigued but also intimidated. When she got to know Jinlong by chance, she began to admire her. Their goals were different but they both relate to feeling out of place, but unlike Elu who was hesitant at first, Jinlong pushed through and got to her position.

Skilli sees Elu as this lost bear cub who is figuring out the right path, but with so many things she doesn’t know, finding the right path seems impossible. Skilli’s form is from Elu’s desire to find the way to settle her problems that won’t end in turmoil.

Skilli shares her knowledge to Elu as well as guide her to opening her eyes to new things she won’t find from the comforts of her home. Skilli teaches her how to cherish those differences in order to understand the world better. The fairy is the wisest and the most patient out of all the dorm fairies.

Matelot

She is a woodpecker and acts as Elu’s scout, always on the lookout for anything of interest from the treetops. Matelot often marks using symbols that Elu recognizes, she even knows Morse code.

Matelot is very quiet and likes to hide her presence, often scaring people and other animals when she starts pecking away. An animal of very little words, she talks softly into people’s ears before leaving the conversation.

Tala

She is a gypsy vanner horse with a calm temperament. No matter what chaos goes on in the background she just goes, “Oh, the usual?” then does her own thing. But when it’s an emergency, she can go from calm to serious when needed.

Elu often rides on her back to drive away approaching danger. Tala is also powerful enough to push away fallen trees and break small boulders.

Her Unique Magic is called, “Arrow of the Wind”, she can control any direction her arrows to follow her targets with a special wind spell that only she can cast. She can make the wind faster and therefore have a greater impact on the arrows.

She can also use it as a shield, any projectiles within her line of sight can be slowed down or be redirected back to her opponent.

Elu’s magical capability is mostly nature based. Though these abilities are used to benefit her village more than mainly using them for combat, unless she needed to as a last resort. She seeks to use her skills in creating more contraptions that make life easier but not at the cost of the ecosystem.

Mato Sorrel

The chief of their village, he is a large bear beastman who is strong enough to carry about five pine logs. He is having trouble with the businessmen who try to trespass their land and try to trick him into signing a ‘beneficial’ contract, he refuses every time because he didn’t have the opportunity to gain outside knowledge. He isn’t narrow-minded to think that outsiders are greedy but he just hopes that his daughter will be able to handle herself in the academy and hopefully bring an end to the trespassers.

Alo Sorrel (23)

He has a weak body so he isn’t able to hunt or participate in activities involving strength, he chooses to help the village to advance economically while keeping the environment in mind. He often sends letters to Elu to inform her what has been happening in the village. He feels guilty that he can’t do much to prevent trespassers from walking all over their homeland due to his weak body.

The character’s name, “Elu” means “Full of Grace” and is a name of Native American origin while the last name, “Sorrel”, means “reddish brown”. The artist just thought this last name sounded better fitting for the character despite the meaning.

Elu’s dorm, Sagamore, was considered to be the equivalent of the Savanaclaw in NRC. Most of the students there are beastmen much like Savanaclaw. Though, Dragonstone, also shares this comparison but Sagamore has more beastmen than Dragonstone does.

She was originally going to be written with the same wise and calm personality like Pocahontas but then it was changed to be a tougher personality with the sense of adventure and navigation like John Smith. The calm personality went to her brother.

The artist chose to assign a bear to Elu as a nod to Brother Bear as well as to fit the characteristic of someone that looks cute but is actually fierce.

Elu was the hardest to design since the first design had too much details and took the longest to draw, not to mention drawing a mechanical bow was difficult for the artist since contraptions are tricky.

The artist is open to criticism and opinions regarding Native American culture since the internet isn’t always helpful.

So the Archon Quest got me thinking of a particular thing, moreso with this perspective of a 'God's Gaze' they describe with ol' Heavenly Principles.

Details under the cut since I love screenies. Will have some spoils of later events for perspective.

I want to premise this with two particular screens from Focalors's and N's discussion.

From this perspective it really allowed me to see the side of Divinity's usual perspective. Normally it's in a form of absolute. The in betweens, the nuance, none of that doesn't hold a candle to the undisputed 'truth' of events taking place. This in fact would explain a lot as to how we seen particular issues from the divine, and time and time again they learned from humanity.

The perspective of godhood that never found a relationship with humanity can only see the action as truth. What goes on within the individual's thoughts and feelings is a matter they find themselves entirely blind to. (When it doesn't have to do with belief in the divine.) Which in turn, leads to an idea I'm gathering about Irminsul and it's 'retcon' ability in terms of memory. How the important factor is that Fate must take place regardless of the context it has to reorganization.

Long as the action is there, so is the divine truth.

Tbh I find that incredibly interesting as an exploit. Throughout Genshin the primary reason we see a lot of the archons influenced the way they are is by walking alongside of humanity, learning about the details within and really perceiving the rich nature of their wisdom. Why their heights and sorrows are so heavily appealing. Possibilities becomes the boon.

On the other hand we can see why humanity always look to the divine for guidance. As someone without a touch of their perspective, what is reveled is a share of their certainty and strength that makes anything seem possible. Absolute conviction to push through any trial becomes their inspiration. The advantage they hold alongside 'Visionaries' is how they can genuinely see the etched details of the future in a very specific way.

Hell! Furina and Focalor's managed to gain this understanding. How the 'act' played first to the power as it generates Faith. This is a status quo that the HP would find as 'normal' thus truth.

So in that case where would the elemental dragons hold their lot? As we've learned in depth with Apep, Nevuilette and the legends of Nibelung, there's a view of reality that's entirely disconnected from normal human biases. This can also be another brand of perspective we can take it from a powerful force. In all honesty I'd love to see it!

This lesson in itself shows where the gods have always been fallible, and why we've come to see so many disasters play out across history as a result. Teyvat in it's current age is coming the closest to that understanding of how it'll need all these views with it's current bunch to truly push through the worst trials. An era of co-existence that burns away pain instead of propagating it.

Ultimately these perspectives shared are going to be the lens that helps draw together the solution that stops the events like the cataclysm 5 centuries ago.

This may be the part of those 'hidden corners' they've always talked about. Entire worlds can be tucked into memory after all.

After all, if we were meant to be alone, there wouldn’t be other people in this universe with us (there wouldn’t even be other universes… but that’s a story for another time). This week let’s zoom in to crowdsourcing: the internet’s version of everyone coming together to help each other.

Though the term itself is pretty self-explanatory, I’m going to clarify it for the context of this discussion. Crowdsourcing is a tossed salad of opinions and ideas from people of various backgrounds, usually who are not affiliated with large brands. Today, crowdsourcing has transformed mere opinions into catalysts for progress. So now the question is, how does crowdsourcing impact innovation and problem-solving across industries? Let’s look at the Malaysian examples of how crowdsourcing has impacted the technology, education and creative industries.

Challenges in 5G deployment, such as diversity and complexity, prompt a two-pronged approach. Engaging with the broader ecosystem and initiatives like Open Radio Access Networks (Open RAN) prove instrumental. Manufacturing partners, like Jabil, significantly contribute by providing cost-effective and efficient production solutions. With over half of Malaysia's populated areas now covered by 5G, the evolving ecosystem anticipates rapid growth, fostering innovation and collaboration between wireless entities and manufacturing partners. The future of 5G in Malaysia appears promising, with collaboration playing a pivotal role in this technological evolution.

Malaysia's adoption of the Inclusive Open Educational Resources (iOER) National Policy (UNESCO 2023) and the widespread availability of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) (Department of Higher Education & Ministry of Higher Education 2023) exemplify crowdsourcing by tapping into the collective wisdom of diverse contributors. OER, shaped through a multistakeholder approach involving experts from 20 Malaysian public universities, civil society groups, and various institutions, demonstrates collaborative efforts to create inclusive and equitable educational resources.

Likewise, the extensive array of MOOCs, drawing from 20 local universities and engaging over 500 thousand students, showcases the collective contribution of educators and institutions toward accessible and free online learning. Both OER and MOOCs underscore Malaysia's commitment to crowdsourced educational content, where the collective input from various stakeholders enriches and democratises the learning experience.

The creative industry has harnessed the power of crowdsourcing through platforms like KITA BUAT and community-made street art in Malaysia.
